Smoke Flare, a young pegasus under the care of Lyra, knew she was different. Smoke Flare found fruits and veggies kind of distasteful, found gems just the opposite to fruit and veggies, and some ponies say when she gets really mad she blows up, literally. However, when something happens one day, Smoke Flare finds out on a big secret, which sends the world she knew spiraling into question. So, she sets out on a quest with her caretaker Lyra, the main 6, a unicorn who needs help from the King of Chaos and 'cool' magic to stay alive, and a pony who is part dragon to find out who her parents were, why they abandoned her, and where she and her family came from.
Meanwhile, a dark and old foe is returning to Equestria. Bloodthirsty and searching for vengeance.
