Things Will Never be the Same
Chapter 1: Life isn’t fair
It was after work hours and the bar was packed. Two men were sitting next to each other on stools drinking beer. The man on the right was a 25 year old white guy with brown shaved hair, his name was Jeff. The guy on the left was a 20 year old black guy with a black afro, his name was Chad.
“Man I’m so sorry for what happened” Chad said, “I had no clue she was in a relationship with you…I hope we can put all of this behind us”
“Yea sure, whatever” Jeff responded bitterly, he wasn’t angry at the stranger because he knew it wasn’t his fault, but he didn’t feel like talking to him. “I gotta go”
“So you forgive me?”
“I guess” Jeff said as he was getting up from his seat. He was stopped when Chad embraced him in a hug, this creeped Jeff out and he tried to bush Chad off of him but Chad held on tight.
“So where best friends forever now right?”
Jeff pushed Chad off of him. “No were not” he said as he began to walk away.
Chad’s eyes started to water, “but…but…I thought you forgave me”
“Yes I did forgive you, but were not friends”. Jeff began to walk away.
“Your mean” Chad said sadly.
Now Jeff was pissed off, he turned around to face Chad. “I’m mean…I’m mean! You had sex with my girlfriend you asshole! You’re lucky we where only going out for a week or I would have fucking killed you!” Everyone in the bar was now listing to this conversation.
“I told you I didn’t know she was in a relationship! I think you should take a chill bill and come to the moves with me to cool down”
Jeff stared at Chad dumbfounded, “did you…just ask me out on a date?”
“No, how is going to the movies with a guy I just met considered a date? I’m not gay”
“You are one strange individual…I’m gonna go now…” Jeff turned around and walked out of the bar.

A 20 year old guy with black hair was sitting on a couch in his bedroom about to smoke some weed out of a bong with his 20 year old girlfriend who also has black hair. The guys name was Bryan, the girls name was Tracy.
“My paintings are selling really well” Tracy said, “I think we should move to a bigger city where I can really shine with my artwork’
“Yea baby, that’s a great idea, I could go to like college or something” Bryan responded
“That’s what you said last year…and yet here we are, stuck in a shitty house in a shitty town”
“That’s nice” Bryan said, clearly ignoring her and stuffing the weed into the bowel.
“Whatever” Tracy said as she got off the couch and walked out of the house. Realizing how stupid he was acting, Bryan put the bong down and went after Tracy who was getting in her car. He opened the door and sat in the other seat.
“Hey I’m sorry, I forgot how much this means to you…I know you want to leave this shitty down and do something with your life. I know what will cheer you up, how about we go see a movie eh?”
Tracy smiled “sure”; she then kissed Bryan and started the car.

In a park, sitting on a bench was Jeff’s brother John; he was 24 years old and had brown hair. Sitting beside him was his wife Mary; she was 25 years old and had blond hair. They were watching their kids play on the jungle gym. They had a 10 year old Daughter named Sophie who had blond hair, and an 13 year old son named Eric who had brown hair. John noticed his 16 year old sister Cynthia walking by with her friends, she had black hair, a lip piercing, and a tattoo of a dragon on her arm. John was deep in thought; he had been fired from his job yesterday and hadn’t told his wife yet. He had to find another job fast if he was going to support his family. Also at the park was a 57 year old bald man with his granddaughter. The man’s name was Harold and his granddaughter’s name was Jamie, she had red hair and freckles. Harold had cancer and was afraid that the chemo therapy wouldn’t work. He wanted to spend as much time as possible with his family before he died. Something caught Harold’s attention, out of the corner of his eye he could see a strange purple light coming from a bush. John and Mary also noticed when Harold went to inspect it. Soon Harold, John, Mary, Eric, Sophie, and even Cynthia where looking at the bush while Jamie and the other kids kept playing on the jungle gym.
“What do think it i-“ John was interrupted when the purple light grew bigger, the light turned into a portal and sucked him in as well as Harold, Mary, Eric, Sophie, Cynthia, and some guy with blond hair and glasses named Mike. Once they were sucked in, the portal disappeared.

Jeff walked out of the bar, he turned around to see if Chad was following him and saw him pick a flower and walk over to him.
“I wanted to give you this flower as a sign of our new friendship” Chad said as he held out the flower.
“Piss off!” Jeff yelled as he turned to walk away. Suddenly a purple light appeared that blinded a driver, causing her to crash and flip the car over. The driver was Tracy…and her neck had snapped form the impact. Bryan tumbled out of the car, dazed not knowing what had just happened. Jeff ran over to the car to check on Tracy, whose head was sticking out the window, and felt her pulse.
“is…is she dead?” Chad asked as he walked up behind Jeff.
“…yes”
Chad looked at the body and then happily skipped off, “oh well that sucks, anyway got to go!”
Jeff looked at Chad in disgust, “a person just died and you’re happy?”
“Of course, why wouldn’t I be? It’s not like I knew her or anything”. Chad skipped over to the purple portal to examine it. Bryan walked over to Jeff, still confused. Once he saw Tracy, tears came down his cheeks, “Tracy…Tracy?”
Jeff put a hand on Bryan's shoulder, “I’m sorry…she’s dead”
Bryan burst into tears and fell on his knees. A black man with black shaved hair named Tyrone came running up to the car. “I called the police” he said, “is she…?
“Yes” responded Jeff as Bryan continued to cry.
Tyrone put a hand on Bryan’s shoulder, “I’m so sorry, I know how it feels…my brother died yesterday”.
“Hey guys…” Chad said, “The purple thing is acting really weird…”
Just then the portal sucked up Chad, Jeff, Bryan, and Tyrone.
“TRACY!” Bryan screamed as he got sucked into the portal. The portal led to some forest where Bryan hit his head on a rock. He got a good look around the forest. The colors were really bright…in fact it seemed almost cartoonish. He then saw the strange wooden paw of a wolf in front of his face. Everything looked filmler...like he had seen if before. Suddenly he remembered being forced to watch a show called 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' on TV when he was babysitting his little sister. He looked up and his suspicions where confirmed as he looked into the eyes of a Timber Wolf.
"No. Fucking. Way" Bryan said as he slipped into unconsciousness...he was in Equestria.

Chapter 2: There is a Murderer Among Us
Bryan opened his eyes to see Tyrone, Harold, Chad, and Mike talking. Bryan sat up and remembered what he saw.
Chad noticed him, “hey, the guy with the dead girlfriend is up”.
At hearing this, Bryan got and ran at Chad; he tackled him to the ground and began to punch him in the face repeatedly. Tyrone pulled Bryan off Chad while Mike laughed his ass off. Bryan turned around and punched Mike in the face, causing him to fall to the floor.
“Just take it easy” Harold said, “I know you lost your girlfriend, and I’m really sorry about that”
“These assholes need to shut the fuck up” Tyrone said.
Bryan walked away as tears began rolling down his cheeks.
Harold looked at Bryan in sadness, “poor kid…on one deserves to lose someone that close when their so young”
Tyrone pulled Chad to his feet and pushed him against a tree, “if you say anything like that again, I’ll be the one beating you”
“I don’t understand, what did I say that was wrong?” Chad asked defensively, “he IS the guy that lost his girlfriend isn’t he? I was just pointing it out”
“Just shut the fuck up next time” Tyrone said as he let go of Chad, “hey Bryan come back! We need to figure what the fuck happened!”
“This is not possible” Bryan mumbled to himself as he continued to walk away. He suddenly remembered Jeff. “Hey where’s that other guy?” he asked as he turned around.
“No clue” Tyrone responded, “He was your friend wasn’t he?” he asked Chad.
“No, I don’t think he liked me very much” Chad responded.
“I wonder why” Tyrone mumbled.
“He wouldn’t even go the movies with me” Chad said as he hung his head.
“He’s not the only one that’s around here” Harold said, “I was sucked into the portal with 5 other people, two of them children”
“We should try and find them” Bryan said.
“Who gives a shit about them” Mike said, “We gotta get the fuck out of here”
Tyrone stepped in the middle of the group, “OK here’s the deal, we’ll try and get out of this forest, when we get out, we’ll inform the police that there are others in here”
Mike went rate in Tyrone’s face, “who said where going to make it out? Look at this place, it’s like a fucking cartoon. We can’t be on Earth anymore”
“I think I know where we are”. Everyone turned to Bryan, “This may sound crazy but…we’re in a little girls cartoon show”
Everyone’s reaction was mixed: Tyrone was confused, Harold was troubled, Chad wasn’t paying attention, and Mike burst into laughter.
“You’re a real dumbass, you know that kid?” Mike said as he wiped a tear form his eye, “I was saying that we were probably on some other planet or in some other dimension…not in a fucking show for little girls”
“You said yourself that this place looked cartoony, and besides, I recognized those Wolves; wait…what happened to the Wolves?”
Tyrone smiled, “I shot one in the head and the others ran away”
“There called Timber Wolves, and there not the only thing dangerous in this forest, we need to get out of here and find Ponyville now”
“Ponyville?”
“It’s a town outside this forest”
Tyrone stared at him dumbfounded, “…Ponyville?”
Bryan sighed, “The shows called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”
Mike burst into laughter while Tyrone and Mike where even more confused than before.
Chad had a big smile on his face, “so there’s talking Ponies in this world?”
“…yes”
Chad jumbled up and down, “I love Ponies! I can’t believe I never knew of this show!”
Tyrone was still dumbfounded, “you’ve got be fucking kidding me”
Mike stopped laughing and put an arm around Bryan, “so you’re a bronie”
Bryan took Mikes arm off him, “yes I am”
“While nice to meet you bronie, I’m Mike”
“Go fuck yourself”
“I’m Chad”, Chad said happily as he continued to jump around.
“You can also go fuck yourself”
“My name is Harold” Harold said.
“…I’m…my name is Tyrone” Tyrone said, still confused.
Harold looked around, “Do you know what way to go?”
“No I don’t”, Bryan responded.
“Some bronie you are” Mike said sarcastically
Tyrone started to walk, “Mike shut the fuck up. I’ll lead this group, Bryan since you know the most about this place; you’ll be second in command”
Mike frowned, “what is the Walking Dead? Where not a group of survivors, we’ll be walking for a couple of minutes and then we’ll find the town”
“That all depends on how deep we are in Everfree” Bryan said.
“Everfree?” asked Tyrone.
“It’s the name of the forest”
“Let’s just hurry the fuck up” Mike mumbled.
The group walked for ten minutes and eventfully found themselves in a swamp. All of a sudden, everybody heard a load rawer.
Bryan recognized the sound, “EVERYBODY HIDE!”
The group went in a ditch and waited. They all saw a huge Hydra walk past them. Everyone's mouth went open in shock at the huge mythical beast walking by then. Harold almost had a heart attack, while Chad was smiling, “coooooool”, he said.
Tyrone turned to Bryan, “we need to get the fuck out of here”.
As the group got out of the ditch, Mike whispered into Tyrone’s hear, “hey man, can I talk to you alone for a sec”
“Why?” Tyrone asked.
“It’s really important, you’re the only person here I know can handle what I have to say”
“Alright” Tyrone said, "me and Mike will be rate back guys”
Tyrone and Mikes walked a good distance away from the group until Tyrone stopped Mike, “OK this is far enough, what do you want to tell me that’s so important?”
“OK I’ll tell you”. All of a sudden, Mike got a look of horror on his face, “Oh my god, what it that thing!”
Tyrone turned around and saw nothing. Before he could turn back around, Mike grabbed his head and stabbed him in the neck with a pocket knife. Tyrone coughed up blood as Mike held the knife in his neck, moving around to hit more veins. The blood squirted out like crazy as Mike finally released the knife from his neck. Tyrone dropped to the floor as he coughed up more blood and breathed his final breathes. He then went limp and died. Mike wiped the blood on his hands all over his face and smiled. He looked to his right and saw light coming from an opining. He walked over to the opening and saw that he had made it out of the forest. He saw a cottage in the distance and smiled as he walked in its direction. He saw a yellow Pegasus with a pink mane humming and feeding some squirrels. As he approached, they all ran away and the Pegasus looked behind her and once she caught a glimpse of the smiling bloody creature, she ran as fast as she could in her house and looked the door.
Mikes POV
The Pegasus ran into her house…its funny that she thinks she can hide from me. So many have tried to get away from me…they always fail. I hope she begs…I love it when they beg. I kicked down the weak door and began my search. It was a nice place I must say, I used to live in a cottage like this…it was where my father drowned my mother. I got that bastard back though when I gouged out his eyes. I went up stairs and I heard a little gasp. It was just like a horror movie…she was hiding under her bed. I bent down, looked under the bed, and smiled at the terrified pony. She was really cute, that make this all the more sweet. She got out of her hiding spot and tried to run but I grabbed her back hooves. She kicked me in the face with them, which caused me to fall back. Before she could run away again, I jumped at her and pined her stomach to the ground.
“P-lease…Please don’t kill me”
She was begging, now I was really going to enjoy this. I pulled out my knife and began to slowly cut her across the back. She screamed in pain and cried her eyes out.
“PLEASE STOP! I’M BEGGING YOU!”
I turned her over to gouge out her eyes just like I did to my father. Before I could do it, she kneed me in the crouch, causing me to fall beside her in pain. She then flew out the window…that bitch escaped…no one escapes from me. I knew I couldn’t go into town so I quickly ran back to the forest. I ran as fast as I could in a different direction from the group. After about ten minutes of jogging, I stopped for a breather.
“I’ll have to kill the rest of the group if I want to survive out here”
Suddenly I heard a stick snap and I turned around to see the 13 year old boy I saw in the park pointing Tyrone's pistol at me. I laughed, “what are you gonna do kid, shoot m-“
Everything went black as the bullet went through my head.
