Introduction

“Um sir, are you sure you want to do this, it might cause uproar all throughout Equestria.”

“Do you think I really care what the masses think about my actions as of late, of course I don’t and I don’t plan on starting anytime in the near future, so for now… there is absolutely nothing to be concerned with. Have we reached a mutual understanding Brutus?”

“Y…yes Discord, I believe we do now.”

“Good, now fetch me their portfolios, it is important that I form an educated opinion on these bringers of hatred and malevolence. As ambiguous as my intentions are, they are still filthy criminals, despite my outlook on the situation.”

“Yes sir, right away sir.” The henchman (Brutus) left Discords lair in a frantic fashion.

If you are confused right about now allow me to enlighten you all. I will be your friendly and completely unbiased narrator that will be guiding you through this process. Alright, now that the arduous task of introducing myself is out of the way lets get to the nitty gritty of the current circumstances. What’s happening right about now is the brainchild of supreme dictator Discord. You see, after the fall of Celestia and Luna, Discord has taken over Equestria and since then the citizens of Equestria have lost all sense of morality and have become rebellious. So to give hope to the restless ponies all around the world, he is allowing twenty death row convicts to fight for their opportunity at freedom in a bloodbath on live television. Not quite sure how that would give hope to everypony, but I digress. The concept in a nutshell is twenty outlaws are stranded on an island with no food and no water and are forced to fight to the death and the lone survivor is sent back into the remainder of the world. Yeah that’s a splendid idea, let a mass murderer or rapist loose in a world full of insecure and defenseless ponies, that’ll liven things up a bit don’t you think. I for one do not consent to this idea whatsoever but I’m not really in a position to do anything about it right now. I kind of want to keep my job for the sake of my wife and foals back at home. Enough about my life, that’s not important as of right now. What is important right now is the twenty convicts… I mean contestants, yes contestants is what I meant. As from what I've heard, this is a very interesting group of individuals. I have even been told that all six elements of harmony are competing as well as some very popular musicians and some renegade militants. There is even a dragon and a griffon in the mix, though I don’t know the specifics. Don’t worry, you all will soon know. I hope to be receiving the reports on the contestants after Discord is done skimming over them. I have to use the word “contestants” very loosely from now on so I've been informed by my manager just now through my earpiece. I've been told to be careful when it comes to what I say or my internship will be short lived. For now I must go, but I promise I’ll return in a timely manner. By timely I mean whenever the corporation decides to let me see the profiles. Until then this is GK signing off.
