The 7 of them then walked into the mansion. They were greeted by a dusty room with a staircase. Rarity quickly walked up the staircase and said "There's no 2nd floor!"

Then, Twilight said "I found something! It looks like an odd device. And there's a piece of paper on it." She quickly unfolded the paper and was greeted by the word "bllood." She then found that there were 7 finger holes in the box. The numbers 0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 0, and 11 were above each hole.

Eventually, all 7 of them put their index fingers inside. Then, they were locked into lace, and it was revealed what the device was. It was a Guillotine! Then, another hologram of Nightmare Moon appeared.

"If you don't want to get your fingers chopped up, figure out in 5 minutes which button stops the device. If you press the wrong one, the blade will drop, and you will lose your fingers. Also, that paper shows the way out, but beware, because I hired a serial killer to hunt you down," the hologram said. "Good luck. By the way, remember, that device hates to have its name misspelled."

The 7 of them then panicked and tried to figure out what button it was. "Think, Twilight," she thought. "What does that piece of paper mean? Why does it say "bllood?"

As the timer kept on going down, Rainbow Dash said "Hurry, Twilight! Try and think of an answer!" Then, Twilight had a moment of realization.

She shouted "Rarity, press your button!" She quickly did, and the timer stopped, followed by the locks releasing their fingers. Pinkie Pie said "Amazing! How did you figure that out?"

Twilight then explained "You see, the word bllood was basically the word blood misspelled. Now, if the shape of the letters was converted into 1's and 0's, you got the number combo on over the holes. And Rarity's number was 11. Also, the last l in bllood had an arrow pointing downwards. That must mean the exit is in the basement!"

The other 6 all cheered for her and began searching for a way to a basement. They soon found one. Rainbow Dash alerted them of a hatch that led to the basement. They all quickly went down into that floor.

Unbeknownst to them, one of Equestria's most brutal serial killers, Rough Roller, nicknamed The Canterlot Slasher, who had escaped from death row with Nightmare Moon's help and was hired to kill the Mane 6 and Spike. He had been convicted of 13 murders several years prior. One such murder was so gruesome it took DNA testing to identify the victim. He had also been known to rape several of his victims, making him an extremely dangerous individual.
