Interval 05- Confession

"This was a lot of anger..." says Point Man. The throne hall is clean again, with the help of Princess Celestia's telekinetic they were able to clean the mess within a hour.

"Yes...," says Michael. He and Point Man are in his room. Point Man examines the weapon storage of him and says "The particle weapon and the ASP Rifle are my most favourite weapons."

"There are more of them in the Dark Signal APC," says Michael.

Point Man says "Are you fucking kidding me? On this world is a APC?"

"Long story...," says Michael. Suddenly, a knock on the door occurs. "Come in!" yells Michael. The door opens and Princess Luna steps in "Michael? My sister wants to speak with you. Now. She's in her room."

Michael stands up and says "Okay, but about what she wants to speak?"

"It's personal."

Michael walks out from his chamber, through various hallway, to Princess Celestia's room. He knocks on the door and steps in "Hello, Tia! I'm here!"

She sits on her bed on her haunches and smiles to him.

"Hello, Micky. Yes, I want to tell you something...," she seems a little bit nervous, "Well, you did so much for us, espacially me. You saved us several times and you was there for us when we need you. Before I sended you with the mane six to the old ruins, I developed feelings for you... and I want to say that... that..."

"Spit it out," says Michael.

"... I love you," whispers Celestia and looks into Michael's dark grey eyes, "...and I hope you feel the same..."

BAM. This answere slaps in the face of Michael like a melee attack from a Replica Soldier. He raises a eyebrow.

Aww...shit... but there's a little problem... thinks Michael. He takes a deep breath and asks "Tia, can I sit next to you?"

"Yes, of course!" she speaks in a joyful voice.

Michael sits next to her and moves his hands together. Then he says "Tia, I respect your feelings and I can't blame you for that. But there's something I said days ago..."

"Yes you said that you don't want to have special someponys... But I don't care!" says Celestia.

"Mmmh... okay then I will say it right into your face," he turns his head to her face... and says it...

"I don't love you," says Michael, "Of course I have feelings for you. But they are not for sure romantical. So sorry, Tia, if I had hurt your feelings."

Celestia' face changes...

"...Leave..." whispers Celestia sorrowful, "And take your friend with you... leave the royal guards, and leave the RTF... you are banished from Canterlot. And if you take a step in Canterlot..."

Michael can't believe what he just hears "What? For only that I don't love you, you disband RTF and banish me from Canterlot?"

"YES,YOU FOOL. LEAVE ME, LEAVE CANTERLOT, LEAVE RTF... LEAVE US!!!" yells Princess Celestia in usuage of the Royal Canterlot Voice (150 decibel, loud as a explosion 5 metres away).

Michael doesn't even winces at the Royal Canterlot Voice. He just rubs his ears, because he hears a ringing in them. After the ringing is gone, he says "Really? Are you 100% percent sure about that? Because I'm not the changing-mind-type. I don't care about the consequences!"

"YES!!!"

Instantly, Michael claps his hands together while standing up and says "Good, closing time!" and rushes to the door. He opens it, walks through the doorway and closes the door behind him. Celestia can hear his steps in the hallway. Suddenly, she says "Oh... no... what I have done?"

"Michael!" yells Celestia.

No response...

"Please come back...," sobs Celestia. She falls on her bed and weeps bitterly...

The door to Michael's room opens. Point Man jumps from his chair in surprise. Michael rushes to his cupboard and takes all his weapons. Point Man walks up to the working Michael and asks "Er... what are you doing?" Michael says, while still taking his stuff "I'll tell you the short version... Celestia loves me, I don't love her, she's angry at me and we both should leave Canterlot... here, take the keys of the APC. It parks in the courtyard of the castle. Wait for me there."

Michael throws the keys to Point Man, who catches the keys. But he is confused "Okay, I think I have to deal with being jobless... but why moving so fast?"

Michael looks up to him and says "Because I really need a vacation..."

Point Man nods and runs out from the room, to the APC in he courtyard. Michael continues putting his stuff in suitcases.

Suddenly, he can hear hoovesteps behind him and he turns around.

Princess Cadance.

She opens her mouth to say something, but Michael says "Yeah, Yeah... she loves me, I don't love her, she wants to excuse herself... NO!" And with that, he grabs his suitcases and rushes past a dumbstruck Cadance. But before he leaves,

he says "Bye Bye Cadance. And send greetings to Luna!"

After 5 minutes, Michael arrives at the APC. Point Man opens the rear hatch for Michael. He takes a seat and straps himself on. The rear hatch closes and Point Man starts to drive through Canterlot. He asks "Okay... where's our destination?"

"Ponyville... I LOVE this village..."

Suddenly a *BUMP* on the top of the APC occurs. Michael can hear someone yelling "MICHAEL!!! I didn't mean that! Please come back!"

It's Princess Celestia.

Michael unstraps from his seat, opens the turret hatch and looks out. Celestia flies next to him, while the APC still drives. She yells over the sound of the APC "I don't care if you don't love me... just come back and protect us! We... I need you!"

Michael groans and says "I must protect a crap! You threw me out and I will not change my mind about this! I don't need to be a Royal Guard or a RTF member to live! And Alma and Armacham is your problem now, princess!" Celestia winces noticeable at this. She never heard such words from him. Michael just closes the hatch. He sits back in his seat and straps himself on again. Then he burrows his face in his hands and sighs loudly...

Ponyville, 5 hours later, Twilight's library

Twilight stands in her kitchen, preparing a meal for the evening. It consists of various salads, tomatoes and daisy. Suddenly, the windows are starting to vibrate slightly. After some seconds it stops and a hydraulic sound occurs, followed by voices. Twilight trots out from her library and she walks around it. At first she let out a gasp of shock, then another one of joy.

"Guys, you're back!" she bounces, like Pinkie Pie, around Michael and Point Man. They parked their APC several metres behind her library. Michael carries a combat shotgun on his back and Point Man has a pistol on in his holster. This weapons didn't fit in the suitcases or ammo boxes, because they are full. Michael says "I hope you don't mind that we parked our APC behind your library..." and he scratches his head. "Of course I don't mind. I'm so happy to see you again. How long you two will stay in Ponyville?" says Twilight. "Uhm... can we talk about that inside, if it's okay for you?" asks Michael.

"Yes, of course! I will make some tea," says Twilight.

They are sitting on chairs, everyone sips on their tea. Michael says "Like I told it to him," he points at Point Man, "I will say it to you. Okay, Celestia said that she loves me, I don't love her, she got angry at me and threw us out and now we are here!"

Twilight spits out her tea in shock and exclaims  "WHAT? Do you know what that means?"

"Yes, she will force me to come back... but...," he takes out his shotgun and slides the pump of the shotgun back and forth (*SHZIK!*). A grin appears in his face. Twilight knows what he thinks and yells "MICHAEL! Get this idea out from your head!!!"

Michael starts to laugh "Don't worry! Just kidding! Of course I wouldn't do this... although..." Twilight takes a deep breath and says  "This wasn't funny..."

*PING!*

Twilight stands up from the couch, trots to the door and opens it with her telekinesis. Outside stands Princess Luna. She steps in the library.

"Good Evening, Twilight Sparkle...," she spots Michael and Point Man, "... and a Good Evening to you two."

"Oh... hello Luna. What brings you to Twilight?" asks  Michael.

"A ultimatum, sended right through a window in a rocketshell..." says Luna, "It's from the company Armacham and they wrote that Princess Celestia should work with them together. If she doesn't comply, then Armacham would do something very gruesome to her folk..."

"And, did she comply?" asks Point Man.

"Of course not. She would have to leave Canterlot. And then she asked about you two... especially you, Michael," she takes some steps to him, "Please, come back. She is not the Tia anymore I know..."

"Nah... I don't think that I will come back so fast. I will think about that, just give me some time, okay?" says Michael.

Princess Luna seems being satisfied with his answere and she says "Good, but pleace take the right decision... I will leave you now, Goodbye all!"

"Goodbye!" they are saying in one unison.

*PING*

"I hate that sound..." mutters Michael. Twilight chuckles and says "So... where do you want to sleep? In the basement? On the couch?"

"Nonono... our lovely APC has enough room for three and...," says Michael, but Twilight cuts him off "I INSIST that you two will sleep in my library!"

"Hmpf... okay..." mutters Michael.

Canterlot, Princess Celestias Castle

"Why I didn't just accepted that he doesn't love me? Now he's gone. And it's all my fault!" cries Celestia. She sits on her throne.

*PING!*

Princess Luna appears in front of her and says "Good news, sister. He says that he will think about coming back, but he needs some time."

Princess Celestia is satisfied with this answere and says "Okay... well, it's pretty late. Do you want to lead me to my room, sister?"

"Of course!"

Celestia stands up and walks to the door. As they are opening the door, Celestia looks to Luna, as she just dissolves in thin dust...

Princess Celestia looks panicked around her and yells "LUNA?". The hallway is empty and she turns around to look back to her throne hall... she looks right into the mangled face of Shining Armor. Just as she screams in shock, the door to her throne hall slams shut, locking in the crippled Shining Armor in the throne hall. She collects herself together and tries to open the door with her telekinesis, but to no avail- the door doesn't budge. Taking some steps back, she looks to her left and right. Both ends of the hallway are blocked by a wall. Suddenly, these walls are moving through the hallway to Celestia. She screams in fear and imagine her garden in her head, to teleporting herself out. But nothing happens. She closes her eyes. Tears are falling down from her face. Just as the walls touching Celestia's body...

FLASH

She opens her eyes.

Darkness. Pure darkness. With some fireplaces here and there. And her vision is blurred.

Celestia starts to hyperventilate. Her panic is on the highest point she ever had in her life. And it becomes worser...

*SCREEEECH!*

Celestia spins around. Several legless creatures with yellow glowing eyes are emerging from the farthest point of the darkness around her. She tries to summon a telekinetic beam... her horn just emits some harmless sparkles.

Then she tries to use the option to fly away. She clenches her back muscles... but she doesn't leap up in the air. She looks at her back. She expects wings... but to her horror, there are just two bleeding stubs on her back. No wings...

The creatures are approaching at a alarming speed. She cries and screams at once. Never ever she is so frightened like before. Suddenly, the fireplace are moving up, the creatures are doing the same, too. She instantly feels what that means.

She is falling.

Her legs are waggling helpless in the air. She lose her crown while falling... in a large pool, filled with blood. She emerges at the surface and spits out the red life-juice. More panic overflows her senses. Then she vomits in the pool. She can't holds herself on the surface. Of course, Alicorns are able to swim. They are very good swimmer. But she's on the edge of fainting. And if she faints, she will drown in the pool. Suddenly, the height of the blood-surface seems to move down. The blood is draining away. To her luck.

She lies on the ground of the pool, bloodstained and panting heavily. The tiles of the pool are changing their colour to black. Her vision isn't blurred anymore.

She is back in darkness. After some seconds, her eyes are penetrated by a bright light. She stands up and looks around. She stands in a town. It can't be Canterlot or Ponyville, because the houses are pretty high and big. She knows that city, but she doesn't know the name right now. Turning around, she looks at the backs of ponies. MANY ponies. She stands behind a large crowd of ponies. They all are facing a large stage. On the stage stands a table and at the table stands a familiar blue alicorn.

Her sister Luna.

Luna yells something to the crowd of ponies but her voice is somehow muffled. And Celestia spots something, that send her a shiver right down her spine. All ponies don't have a face. Instead of eyes, facial expressions or something that builds up a face, their faces are just empty, like a empty sheet of paper. Luna's face is empty, too. Princess Celestia hears steps behind her and she turns around.

"Take your positions!"

Eight Replica Soldiers are approaching the crowd from behind. They are equipped with weapons, that even Celestia didn't saw before.

At first it's a firearm. Big firearms. Celestia can see that the ammunition comes from a little box, which is attached on the underside of the weapon. The cartridges are coming out from the box and they are linked together like a chain. Their weapons are having just one muzzle, but it's a little bit longer than the muzzle of Michael's AR.

Michael...

"Wait for my signal!"

"What are they doing?" thinks Celestia. With one snap in her brain, she knows what are they planning... they wouldn't... No... just SHOOT innocent ponies.

"OPEN FIRE!!!"

"NOOO!!!" screams Celestia... and finds herself in marketplace of ponyville. She is totally confused what just happened. Looking around, she doesn't find anything out of ordinarys... except that the ponies aren't having faces, too. Every pony is doing it's job, and it seems to be a normal, sunny day in the town. Celestia looks up to her castle which stills stands at the mountain. But it looks different.

Before she recognizes what is different on her castle, the whole ground starts to shake. Everypony let out a muffled scream. On some places, the ground opens and some blue flashes are coming out. Then every window on every building bursts. Celestia falls on her haunches.

*BLAASH!!!*

A very bright flash distorts her vision for a moment. She looks up the castle. Or what is left of it... a very big mushroom-like cloud emerges from the place where her castle stood once before. The sky is dark brown and the sunlight is blocked by dark clouds.

A loud, deep humming sound occurs. The pressure-wave approaches Ponyville. Ponies are running around in panic. A sharp wind blows through Celestia's eternal flowing mane. Then ponyville is hit by the full strength of the pressure wave. Every house, every tree, every... pony... is ripped apart from the force of the wave. Celestia is smashed against a building, before she feels that some bones are bursting in her body. She screams...

Suddenly, in all that chaos, a humanoid figure appears in front of her. It's naked and in a mangled shape.

Alma.

She leans forward to the heavily bleeding Celestia and whispers in her ear...

"This... Will... Happen..."

"No..." whispers Celestia.

"This... Is... The... Future..."

FLASH

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHGG!!!" screams Celestia and she falls on the floor, hyperventilating. Luna rushes to her sister "Oh my goodness! Tia!"

Princess Celestia starts to cry in fear and shock. Then a hiccup stops her crying at short intervals. A Royal Guad rushes up them and says "Your highnesses! What happened?" But Celestia doesn't respond to him. Instead, she sobs "I... *hic*... want Michael *hic*... back!"

Princess Luna turns to the Royal Guard "We were leaving her throne hall, to lead her to her room. Just as we stepped through the door, she let out this scream..."

"Is there something I can help?" asks the Royal Guard.

"At the moment... no... Thanks you!" says Luna. The Royal Guard bows and trots away.

"Don't leave me, Michael!" whispers Celestia and she stands up. She wobbles a little bit and Luna helps her to her room. Luna covers her shivering sister with a sheet and says "Don't worry. I will visit Michael tonight!"
