Enigmatic Exploit and Undeserved Gratitude
Chapter 1: Background
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThere's a dated proverb which relates to beginnings: ''If the beginning is good, the end must be perfect.'' Which I would answer disapprovingly,''Au contraire, if the beginning is bad, the end must be imperfect,'' my longevity has been evermore flawed.
I was born in Las Pegasus. I dwelled in a house with my mother, father and my little sister, Chocolate Melt. I attended Las Pegasus Elementary, Middle and High School. I earned bottom grades in Middle and High School, you can't repeat exams to get better grades, you can only do it once.
I had one activity in my colthood, colt-scouts. I've been told that I'm extremely helpful. I've got a reference form them saying,''Extremely helpful, obedient and reliable,'' and that's how I got my profession.
Speaking about business, my sister is only eleven years old, and yet, she runs a very successful chocolate business that could easily rival Sugarcube Corner. On top of that, she owns a magnificent mansion near the summit of Dragon Mountain - where the ''Mane'' 6 made the dragon depart from his cave - it's got: a queen-size bed, a jaccuzi, a gargantuan fridge and an indoor swimming pool. I'm overshadowed by her, to be honest, better life. She was treated by our parents much more nicely and more caring, than to me.
My parents still live in Las Pegasus, they were told that at sixteen, the children of their parents should, rightfully, fend for themselves. They say that I can contact them, when I get my own house. I was eventually kicked out to fend for myself.
I bought my aforementioned house, paid the mortgage, it was surprisingly cheap, using all the money I saved in the bank and settled in. There's a telephone in the house, I could call my parents, so they could visit me, but they want to be proud of me and where I live, well, when you compare it to a mansion, it looks pretty pathetic.
So, I don't think I will call them.
