"C'mon Tank! Try and keep up!"
A rainbow colored flash zoomed across the clear blue sky. Following in its wake was a most unusual sight; a small green tortoise wearing aviator goggles and held aloft by a magically charged pinwheel propeller. The creature chased after the speeding prism, but it just kept accelerating faster and faster as it streaked under Celestia's bright sun. After a short while, the rainbow traced out a loop and circled back to the slow-paced tortoise.
"Oh c'mon! We're gonna be late for the pony pet play-date!" shouted the rainbow which in fact turned out to be a small cyan Pegasus with a seven-colored mane and tail. The tortoise made a soft croaking noise in response. The Pegasus groaned and facehoofed herself before saying, "Look, I know that slowing down and smelling the roses is important and all, but I wanna beat Winona and Applejack there."
The tortoise simply blinked at its master; an agonizingly... slow... blink...
"Ah fine!" exclaimed the mare as she slowed to her pet's speed. The green shelled aviator slowly craned its neck and gave its owner a warm smile. The brash Pegasus couldn't help, but smile back. "Oh you..."
She corkscrewed underneath the flying anomaly gliding belly-side-up before taking her beloved pet into a loving embrace.
Glad we're the only two up here. If anypony else saw this...
"Awwww... Rainbow, I'm so happy that you and Tank have become so close."
The mare's eyes flew open and she quickly released the tortoise. Looking behind, she saw a yellow coated Pegasus with a long flowing pink mane that matched its tail. On its back was a little white bunny rabbit which was stifling laughter with its tiny paws.
"Fluttershy! What a surprise to see you up here... don't you usually... like walk everywhere?" questioned the now nervous prism-themed Pegasus.
"Oh well yes, usually, but I wanted to see the two of you looking so adorable together. So I decided to fly up here," explained Fluttershy. The rabbit seemed to have erupted into another laughing fit at the end of her explaination. "Oh, Angel Bunny wanted to see it too," she added.
Oh, I'm sure he had no ulterior motives..., thought Rainbow Dash as she rolled her eyes at the white rascal.
"Listen Fluttershy!" started the brash Pegasus causing her friend to sink a little in altitude. Rainbow, however, wouldn't let up and followed after as the yellow mare descended. "Whatever you think you saw never happened! Got that?!?" she finished, giving the now cowering mare a fierce gaze.
"Okay..." breathed Fluttershy as her hooves met the earth. She sunk to the ground hiding her face behind her delicate yellow feathers. "Please don't be mad at me..."
Dash's expression softened at the sight and when she spoke again, she did so in a calmed, gentler tone. "I'm not mad...it's just..." the Pegasus paused and gently patted her friend's pink mane. Fluttershy peeked out cautiously from behind her fan of feathers waiting for Rainbow to finish. "...it's just...I have a reputation to uphold, y'know. Can't have everypony thinking I've gone soft or something... and look I'm... I'msorrythatIyelledatyou."
"What?" asked the meek mare, her ears perked up slightly.
Rainbow sighed, "I'm sorry that I yelled at you...it was wrong of me to flip out on you like that. Just don't tell anypony about... earlier,'kay?" Fluttershy smiled before nodding slowly and standing back up; her rabbit hopped off her back with a mischievous smiling adorning its face. "That goes double for you, buddy!" Rainbow added sternly upon seeing the bunny.
Angel simply stuck out his tongue at her in reply and scampered away.
"Why you little...Ow!"
Dash's head felt like it had just stood in for a pin at a bowling alley. The culprit of the sudden head trauma was Tank.
"Jeez, Tank! What did I tell you about watching where your flying?" interrogated Rainbow. Tank, however, answered back with another slow blink to which Rainbow sighed again and let the matter drop. She could never stay mad at him for long. "Well, whatever. I guess you're still pretty new to the whole flying deal being a turtle and what not."
"Tortoise," corrected Fluttershy.
"Sure, fine whatever," snapped Rainbow, "a tortoise then. Hey Fluttershy we should get goin'. Everypony is probably waiting for us by now. You comin'?"
"Oh, I'll meet you there. I have to go find Angel Bunny. He's always running off to Celestia knows where."
Take your time. Another minute of not having to put up with that little pisser is no feather off my wing.
"Okay then. Me and Tank will meet you over there!" called Rainbow as Fluttershy went trotting off in search of her rambunctious rabbit. The Pegasus watched her friend leave before once again taking to the sky. "C'mon Tank! I'll race ya!"
About a couple of minutes flying later, Rainbow Dash with Tank in hot (or rather lukewarm) pursuit arrived at the park where she and her pony friends would play with their pets together. Already waiting in the clearing were Applejack and her dog Winona, Twilight with Owlowiscious, the mean cat Opalescence alongside Rarity, and finally the zany Pinkie Pie with the even zanier Gummy. As Rainbow landed gracefully on the ground before them all that left only one element and her pet absent.
"Howdy, RB! And you as well Tank!" greeted Applejack, tipping her Stetson hat at the newcomers. "Ah don't suppose ya'll happened to see Shy on yer way over here?"
"Yeah, we did, but she had to go chase after that pipsqueak bunny of hers," answered Rainbow. "He can't have gone that far, though. I'm sure she'll be here soon."
"Well then, we should probably just start without her," suggested Twilight, who always liked to keep to a schedule. "She and Angel can just join in when they get here."
Everypony else agreed and soon the group of friends were frolicking through the park engaging in all matters of pony-play with one another along with their pets. Winona chased after Owlowiscious who had grabbed a stick in his claw and was floating about just out of reach of the excited dog.
"Get'em girl!" laughed Applejack. She and Twilight were laughing at the fruitless endeavors of Winona trying to catch the owl.
More laughing could be heard coming from nearby as Rainbow was enjoying the sight of Opalescence trying to get her favorite chew toy back from Tank; the tortoise had retreated into his hard-shelled house as the cat scratched furiously at the shell.
"Oh Opal... You'll ruin the manicure I worked on all this morning!" moaned Rarity.
"Lighten up Rare, they're just havin' some good ol' fashioned fun!" called Applejack who'd overheard the Unicorn's complaints. Rarity responded with a glare that seemed to say the simple apple farmer could never hope to understand the many intricacies of superficiality that went into becoming the perfectly stylized fashionista that she was. Applejack, however, hadn't noticed and was once again chuckling at Winona's unrelenting pursuit of the flying stick. "Ooo! Almost got it that time girl!"
Soon Gummy joined in with Opal's attempts to penetrate Tank's... well tank, but without any teeth all the alligator achieved was slobbering up the shell. Time passed much in this way. At one point everypony gathered together and had an every mare and pet for themselves tag game. Because of the obvious advantage, Rainbow and Twilight had been restricted to the ground only while Owlowiscious was allowed to fly, but only at low altitudes. In the end, the unexpected winner was... Tank. Being so slow, nopony had tried to go after him and thus he was the last one left standing.
About an hour had ticked by when Pinkie Pie spoke up.
"Hey, Fluttershy is really taking her time, isn't she?"
"Yes she is, even for being fashionably late this is quite a stretch," observed Rarity.
"Perhaps, somethin' came up?" Applejack suggested.
"Like what?" asked Rainbow.
"LIKE THAT!!!!" Twilight exclaimed, pointing a hoof up at the sky.
The air above Ponyville had taken on a dark tone. Clouds were beginning swirl around before coalescing into a thick, black ring. All the wind in the surrounding area seemed to be heading directly towards the epicenter of the formation at frightening speeds. The once subtle midday breeze was now whipping through the manes of all of Ponyville's inhabitants. It was like a giant vacuum cleaner had descended upon the small village.
All of this was just icing on one of the Cake's famous pastries though, because located in the dead center of the black ring was what looked like a ball of light. Shots of lightning were spurting out sporadically from the bright orb and the air around it seemed to warp like there was a heat haze surrounding it. The noise of the wind and lightning was terrifying and shook the ground like an earthquake.
The five elements had taken off towards the commotion seconds after they saw all this.
"Um, this probably goes without saying, but WHAT THE HAY IS THAT!!!???" shouted Rainbow, who was flying behind Twilight at the front of the group.
"I-I have no idea! I've never seen or read about anything like that!" responded Twilight, trying desperately to keep herself calm.
"Could it be Discord again? Or maybe Luna has changed back to Nightmare Night?" tried Applejack. She was holding onto her hat making sure the wind wouldn't carry it away.
"No way! Discord is reformed now and Luna would never go back to being evil," insisted Dash.
"Ooo... thenmaybeit'sthatmeanol'QueenChrysalisagain...ormaybetheUrsaMinororadragon, WAIT! two dragons!" Pinkie Pie blurted out.
"What was that dear? I couldn't hear you over all of this dreadful wind! Oh! This will absolutely ruin my mane!" Rarity groaned while picking leaves out of her well-kept hair.
"Would ya just forget about your looks for a second! We actually have real problems right now!"
"Yeah! We don't have time to worry over looks!"
"Oh! You two tomcolts will never understand that a lady's looks are her life!"
"...ormaybeit'sthreedragons withanarmyofchanglingsandmanticores..."
"WOULD YOU ALL JUST BE QUIET!?!?" ordered Twilight over the din of the wind and her friend's bickering. The group came to a stop. "Look!"
They had arrived in the middle of town. Directly above them was the orb which seemed to have doubled in size or perhaps it was always this big, but they hadn't noticed until they got closer. The suction of the wind had also become much stronger as fruits and vegetables from the market made their way up to the light globe. When they reached the light they seemed to evaporate into nothingness (not a good sign...). Ponies of all varieties were running scared throughout the streets looking for someplace to take shelter. The sound was deafening.
"Hey! There's Fluttershy!" noticed Pinkie Pie.
Sure enough the yellow Pegasus was located on the opposite side of the street looking horrified at the spectacle before her and clutching her bunny tightly to her chest. The group rushed over to their frightened friend.
"Fluttershy! Are you okay?! Do you know what's happening?!"
Fluttershy however didn't respond and kept her awestruck face focused on the glowing sphere even as her friend barraged her with more and more questions. She was deaf to the world; too frightened to even think.
Her friends tried everything to snap her out of her catatonic state. Applejack shook her. Pinkie shouted nonsense. Rainbow even gave her a good hoof slap to the face, but nothing worked.
"We have to get out of here! The winds getting stronger!" shouted Twilight. "We're gonna get sucked up too! It might even destroy the whole town!" The lavender Princess looked around her once peaceful village falling into ruin. The orb was definitely getting larger and now even looked to be descending. She closed her eyes seemingly in defeat, but then her face shot up with a look of determination. "NO...Applejack grab Fluttershy! Rarity! Go tell the mayor to evacuate everypony! Pinkie and Rainbow! You go and try to help as many ponies get out of town as you can! "
"What are you gonna do?!" demanded Rainbow, a look of apprehension on her face as she waited for an answer.
"...I'm Ponyville's Princess and I will not allow it to fall without a fight!" the Alicorn proclaimed. She spread her majestic purple wings and took to the air. The torrent of wind blew her mane about in a way that reminded Rainbow of Princess Celestia. She turned back to her friends. "Now GO!"
The elements did as instructed and took of down different streets. The orb was so close to the town that all of Ponyville was now in the shade of its form. Lightning shot out of it in all directions and started to hit buildings setting them on fire. The air was being sucked away so violently that it was nigh impossible to breathe. Rainbow was afraid to fly for fear of being vacuumed into oblivion. She went down the streets knocking repeatedly on doors and telling everypony to get out before it was too late.
Buildings came crashing down as the globe pushed them out of its path to the ground. A bone-shaking rumble sounded as it met the cobble street. Dust kicked up everywhere blinding everypony outside and sending them into coughing fits.
Rainbow saw something orange fly by her through the chaos followed by a distinctive scream. Squinting, she saw that the UFO actually was...
"SCOOTALOO!!!!"
The suction of the wind had been enough to send the light filly flying through the air. Her destination; the light orb of death!
"SOMEPONY!!! HELP ME!!" the young Pegasus screamed.
Oh no! She's not strong enough to fly away!
"HANG ON SQUIRT! I'M COMIN'!"
Rainbow took off in a bolt after the screaming filly. The speed of the wind would've made it extremely difficult for any Pegasus to control her flight, but luckily Rainbow Dash wasn't just any Pegasus. She dodged flying signs, trees that had become airborne and even small houses. On one occasion a small shed flew in front of her path and there wasn't anyway she could change her course fast enough to avoid it.
Well...if you can't go around...GO THROUGH!
She crashed into the door which fortunately was made of light plywood before bursting out a window on the other side. Glass shards embedded themselves in her wings drawing blood, but it didn't phase the fierce flyer. She was so close. As she reached out to grab Scootaloo a bolt of lightning whizzed past her, scorching her outstretched hoof. The jolt of electricity caused Rainbow to black-out for a second which was enough to cause the filly to sail further away.
"RAINBOW DASH! HELP!"
The Pegasus shook herself back to consciousness.
What are you doing, Dash?!? You've got a filly to save!
She regained her flying form and shot after Scootaloo. Up ahead she could see the light ball had turned completely black. A purple aura was stretching over it which could only mean one thing...
Twilight!
The Alicorn hovered over the black mass with her horn glowing the same shade of purple that was surrounding the dark orb. She had a look of utter concentration; her face was scrunched up and she was biting down on her lip. Her magical aura had almost completely covered the globe before it began to shatter.
Oh no!
Like a snow globe breaking on the floor the magical shield burst into shards and a miniature explosion sent Twilight shooting off into the distance. The orb seemed to collapse in on itself forming an even black hole in space. There was a break in the suction as the explosion/implosion ran its course. Scootaloo fell to the ground hard knocking herself unconscious. The sudden break also caught Rainbow off guard and she barely avoided being crushed by a collapsing building.
"Scootaloo! This is your chance! Run!" shouted Dash, but the filly was out cold.
The vacuum started up almost as quickly as it had ended and everything was again being pulled toward the black hole; unconscious filly included. In fact, the wind felt even stronger than before. The noise was once again deafening. Scootaloo was almost at the mouth of the dark void.
I'm not gonna make it... Unless...
Rainbow Dash spread her wings causing the glass in them to open new cuts.
I don't have to be in control...I just have to be FAST!
She aimed for Scootaloo and let the void pull her in.
Faster and faster she went. The wind roared past her ears. She laid flat out in the air trying to be as aerodynamic as her body would allow all the while accelerating towards her goal. The world around her was a blur. Time stood still. Even the lightning bolts couldn't catch her. She closed her tearing eyes. Faster and faster and faster until...
*BOOM*
......................................
................................................
.......................
........
...I'm dead...
...I have to be dead...
I can't hear anything...
I'm sorry Scootaloo...
...I...
...didn't make it...
..........
......
...Wait!
What is this?
Rainbow opened her eyes and saw Scootaloo huddled up in her forelegs. Looking around, she noticed that everything was darker...darker than night... darker than black. She turned around to see a rainbow trail following out behind her from the Sonic Rainboom she'd done seconds earlier. The Pegasus gasped.
Behind her was an opening in space. Through the rift she could make out the collapsing Ponyville.
I have to get back through!
She slowed to make a U-turn, but when she started making for the opening a large house came flying in through the other end. It blocked her path and she doubted she would be able to bull her way through it. What's more, she doubted she could avoid it while carrying Scootaloo.
Damn! I made it this far! I can't get wasted like this! I have to save Scoots!
The building was closing in. Rainbow slowed and lost the momentum to keep up the Sonic Rainboom.
This is looking pretty hopeless...
...they won't even have bodies to bury...
"HERE!"
Huh?
"TAKE MY HAND!"
What's a hand ?
"HURRY!"
Rainbow looked to the side. Floating there was some kind of creature she'd never seen before. It had four limbs; one of them was stretching out to grab hold of her with its weird looking claws. It had no fur besides the top of its head. The skin on its face and forelegs was mocha-colored. The rest of its body was covered in clothes. It had a desperate look on its face.
"C'MON! DO YOU WANNA BE CRUSHED?!?"
No!
The Pegasus reached out her hoof and took hold of the strange creature's grasp; it was warm and strong. The creature yanked the ponies to his chest, then kicked off a market stand that had been floating in the void with his long hind legs. The three of them floated past the house.
The opening that the building had been blocking from Rainbow's view had become smaller. As they floated closer, it shrunk even more.
"Listen, I'm gonna throw you towards the gateway. We won't make it there in time if we're going this fast," said the creature.
"But what about you?" questioned Rainbow. "Won't that mean you'll get left behind."
"Don't worry I've been travelling through here for a few days now..."
"Whaddya mean? Who are you? What are you?"
The creature looked at Rainbow in the eyes.
"Name's Jordan. I'm a human..."
"A wha..."
"No more speaking. Time to go!"
And with that, the Pegasus's rescuer hurled her and Scootaloo toward the opening back to their plane of existence. The mare looked back as the portal closed behind her to watch the lone figure in the darkness. He had raised one of his odd limbs as if to wave goodbye.
The rift was only about a foot or two wide by the time the two Pegasi made it through to the other side. Rainbow collapsed on the ground, but made sure not to fall on the filly. She was exhausted.
Who was that creature...
"Rainbow!" screamed Twilight who had managed to make her way back to the center of the crisis. Behind her were all the rest of her friend and each had on their Element of Harmony.
They all came! Even Fluttershy!
"Take this!"
The Alicorn tossed her the necklace that represented the Element of Loyalty; Rainbow's cutie mark was framed proudly at the center.
"We're gonna stop this thing once and for all," declared Ponyville's Princess.
As her words drifted into silence Rainbow felt the familiar vibration of the necklace. All the Element's were resonated with one another as were the hearts of the six friend. They felt the power of their bonds flowing between them and permeating every inch of their bodies. One by one they levitated into a semicircle with Twilight at the middle. The pure energy kept building and building until all the mare's felt as if their hearts would burst.
Finally the energy formed into magic and directed itself to Twilight. The mare had had her eyes shut during this process, but as she opened them her usually inquisitive gaze had transformed into a bright purifying light. A rainbow colored blast erupted from the group and shot toward the void. The opening was no more than a pinprick by this point, but as the rainbow met the minuscule rift it force it to widen larger than it had been before. The Element's magic reached into the black abyss and pulled out the buildings, trees, and market stands that had been vacuumed in earlier. As it placed the lost objects back into their places the magic also fixed them so that they looked as if nothing had every happened.
The loving magic embraced everything and everypony that had been damaged and repaired or healed them. The final act of the Elements of Harmony was to surround the hole in space-time and stitch it shut. The resonance between the mare died down and they float back to the street.
Clouds cleared and let Celestia's warm sun shine down upon the heroes. Ponies that had taken shelter peeked the muzzles out their windows and doorways. They all made their way to Ponyvilie's main square and gathered in a large circle around the six friends.
There was silence and then...
"BRAVO!!!"
"HOORAAYY!!!"
"WOOHHH!!"
"THREE CHEERS FOR OUR BRAVE HEROINES"
"HIP HIP HOORAAY... HIP HIP HOORAYY... HIP HIP HORAAAAAYY!!!!!!!!"
The crowd erupted into applause for the six elements.
"Ohmygosh! That was so cool!" shouted Pinkie Pie.
"I dare say our elements pulled through once again!" cheered Rarity.
"Ah guess that just means our friendship's strong as ever!" Applejack stated.
"Yeah," agreed Fluttershy.
"Well either way we saved Ponyville, girls!" said Twilight beaming at her friends. Each one of them returned her smile except for....
"Rainbow, what's wrong?"
The Pegasus was staring at the spot where the rift had closed shut.
"Uh Rainbow...anypony home?" asked PInkie as she somehow dangle from the sky waving a hoof in Dash's face.
"He's... gone..."
"Uh... who's gone sugarcube?"
"That creature... he saved me and Scootaloo when we were trapped in there."
"What creature?"
"He helped us escape, but now he's left all alone in there... all alone in the dark..."
"Umm... what?"
"Yeah Rainbow," chimed Pinkie Pie. "You're spouting even more nonsense than I usually do... well maybe not that much, but still pretty close."
"The creature!" shouted Dash. "That...that human. He said his name was Jordan."
"Wha..."
But as Twilight's question formed on her lips the necklaces began to vibrate once more. They vibrated, but not nearly as intensely as before-- almost like the action was a magical afterthought. Once again the magic focused toward a single point, but this time it wasn't on the Alicorn. Instead the energy concentrated where the black hole had closed shut.
The hole however did not reopen. There a sort of *pop* noise and in place of the magical glow stood Jordan, the so-called human.
"Woah Doc, that was heavy..." groaned the human as he rubbed his temples.
"Ohmygosh!"
"Ahh!" shouted the alien as he was tackled to the ground by Rainbow. Her wings were fluttering in excitement.
"You're alright! I thought you'd be trapped in there forever! I thought I'd never get to thank you...Oh Yeah! Thank You!"
"Ummm... alrighty then," answered the human as he struggled to get to his feet. The Pegasus attached to his chest wasn't helping the effort. "I'm glad you and the little one made it out okay. It's hell being trapped there for any period of time... Uhh who are you again?" asked Jordan looking around the square filled with pastel colored ponies.
"That's what I'd like to ask you," said Twilight as she stepped forward from the awestruck crowd.
"Oh right! I'm the alien here I suppose..." the human thought aloud. He finally managed to break Rainbow's iron grip on his torso and took a step toward the Alicorn. Twilight watched as the tall creature arched his back forward and raised one of his oddly shaped claws. "Greetings! My name is Jordan and I come in peace from the planet Earth!" announced the human while trying his darnedest to seem friendly. Twilight as well as the rest of the crowd simply stared. "Right..." he murmured and got up from his bow letting his hand fall limply to his side.
"Umm... okay. Judging by the stunned silence I'm gonna guess that you've never met an alien before."
Twilight shook her head, but otherwise said nothing.
"Right. Didn't think so... well this isn't gonna make this any easier," said Jordan under his breath. He glanced back up at the still silence crowd. "This wouldn't happen to be the planet Klaatu, would it?"
"No dude, this is Equestria," answered the rainbow pony that had knocked him to the ground.
"Oh good! Somebody who's up to talking!" smiled Jordan as somepony had finally broken the awkward silence. "But Equestria, you said?"
Rainbow nodded. "Yep Equestria! Hey, you said you're an alien? How'd you get here? Why were you in that dark place? Why were..."
"Somanyquestions!" interrupted the human. "Let's sort through them one at a time... now let's see; yes, to you all I'm an alien. Don't worry! Not the destroy-your-world kind!" he reassured quickly putting up his hands to show he was unarmed. "And as to how I got here... I'm not entirely sure of that myself... Oh! and as to why I was in that dark place. It was because I was travelling as an alien ambassador to the planet Klaatu. The quickest way to anywhere in the universe is through Sub-Space," finished Jordan.
"What is Sub-Space?" asked Dash while she tilted her head to side.
"Well, you can think of it as a sort of short-cut through space-time," explained the human. "It's created by..."
"By what?" pressed Rainbow.
"Umm... well if you're still a Class 1 world that hasn't had any contact with extra-terrestrials I'm afraid I that it's classified information," said Jordan while he rubbed the back of his neck. "I don't want to mess up your natural evolution or anything. Not to mention the reprimanding my superiors would give me..." He shuddered slightly at the thought.
"Um mister alien..."
Jordan looked to see a timid-looking, yellow-winged pony approaching him from the crowd.
"Yes?"
"Well, not to be nosey or anything... but if you're supposed to be at some other planet... why are you here?"
"Hmm..." he hummed in thought. "Well, while I was travelling through Sub-Space something caught my attention. It was some kind of disturbance in space-time. As I got closer I saw that a rift had opened in the Sub-Space and I could see into another world. Then out of nowhere, all these buildings and things came flying through the rift as well as those two." He pointed to Rainbow and the still unconscious Scootaloo. "They seemed to be in some sort of distress so I decided to help out."
"Then you did rescue them!" started Twilight.
"Uh yeah... I guess I did..."
"Well then" said the Alicorn as she walked up to the human. "I must thank you for saving my friends. I'm afraid our whole town would've been sucked into that Sub-Space if you hadn't helped them to get back in time to use the Elements of Harmony." She stood before him and extended a hoof.
Jordan eyed the crown atop her mane.
She must be the ruler... A Empress or Queen or something...
He looked back to the hoof.
"Oh!" he cried in realization. He knelt down on one knee while gently taking the hoof and bringing it slowly to his lips. "It was an absolute honor to help one of your subject, your Majesty." He finished by softly kissing the purple hoof.
.....................
........
"Y-your M-majesty?" stammered Twilight quickly pulling her hoof back. Her lavender cheeks were quickly turning pink.
"Uh yeah... Oh! Are you not the ruler of this land? I'm so sorry! Forgive me if I've offended you...I thought what with the crown...oh their never gonna promote me if I keep screwing up simple greeting... hell they might even demote me!"
"Oh no! I mean yes! Or no or... I just didn't expect..."
"Dude.."
Jordan looked down at the rainbow pony. She had a deadpan expression on her face, but there was also a faint blush her cheeks.
"I think she was going for a hoofshake...oh and she's kinda new to the whole princess thing too."
A hoofshake? Oh yes! Of course! Like a handshake...
"Let me try again," said Jordan as he took Twilight's hoof in his hand again, but this time shaking it. "It's an honor to save one of your subjects Princess...?"
"Twilight. Twilight Sparkle," finished the Alicorn finally regaining her composure.
"Princess Twilight Sparkle then, " smiled Jordan. He looked back up at the crowd of ponies. "Well I'm happy that I could help," he began looking back at Rainbow Dash. "But I think I'm gonna be pretty late for my appointment at Klaatu." He stood back up and walked over to the spot he'd manifested from. "It was very nice to meet you all... though I'm still not entirely sure how that happened to begin with... ," he said as he pulled out a small golden key. "Perhaps I'll return one day with a proper introduction, but till then..."
Jordan jabbed the key into what was seemingly thin air, but as he turned the invisible lock, a plain wooden door appeared. He went to turn the knob, but as he did...
"OOWWW!!!!!"
Jordan was thrown back by some kind of electrical shock and landed hard on the cobble street.
"Hey! Are you alright!?" shouted Rainbow as she glided to his aid.
"Uhhh..." groaned the human while rubbing the back of his now sore head. "Damn that hurt!" He slowly got to his feet. As he did, he saw the once golden key had been turned to ash in his hand.
"What was that?"
"That... wasn't supposed to happen..."
Author's Note
Hey everypony! At first this clop was only supposed to be a one-shot (started with "I have something I've been wanting to show you..."), but it's been upgraded to a full story. I don't know how often I'll be able to update this one as I have another fic to write. This opening might not have much to do with the other chapter as I'm kind of retracing my steps with this fic. If you have any ideas for where I can take this please feel free to send me your thoughts via comment or message. I want to make this a little more interactive than my other fic. There's still gonna be clop, but I also want a story as well. Hopefully you enjoy it all the same!

I have something I've been wanting to show you... (actual clop)
Meet me in the Apple's Farm, I have something I've been wanting to show you...
Jordan reread the small note again as he strode down the dirt road leading to Sweet Apple Acres. The writing would be virtually illegible to anypony else, but he had gotten used to reading the chicken scratch. The week before last he had been helping a certain Pegasus write an application form and essay for the Wonderbolt Academy.
I must've helped her rewrite that essay over a dozen times. She said that she couldn't mail it in until it was absolutely flawless, thought Jordan, a smile appearing on his face at the memory. Well, I suppose it does mean the world to her. I hope she gets accepted. With the amount of hard-work and devotion she puts in everyday she totally deserves it.
He glanced over the note one more time before carefully folding and stowing it into his back pocket. Luna's moon was full tonight and the sky was clear which allowed for such meticulous actions without need of a lantern. It casted a long shadow of Jordan's tall, muscular form on the road in front of him.
Ever since he had arrived in Equestria, Jordan had had to get used to walking everywhere instead of just driving and also to eating a strictly vegetarian diet. In addition, Applejack had hired him to work on the apple farm hauling wagons alongside Big Macintosh; as a result, his muscles had grown much more defined in the past weeks.
Maybe someone's noticed these bad boys, Jordan mused flexing his biceps. That note was pretty suggestive...
The thought stopped him is his tracks.
"Pfft. Yeah right...we're like best friends!" he nearly shouted with nopony listening save a few squirrels in the surrounding trees. He realized how awkward he must look standing in the middle of the road so late at night and started walking again.
It was true. The first pony to really befriend the tall human when he had popped into existence in the middle of Ponyville was Rainbow Dash. Having already been friends with a Griffon, she was totally accepting of the non-pony from another world no less! From that day on, the two of them had been practically inseparable much to the joy of Jordan who had taken great comfort in having made such a loyal friend in a foreign world.
I owe her so much now that I think about it...
Rainbow had not only befriended Jordan, but also helped him find a job and a place to stay in Ponyville. She would cheer him up whenever he would get homesick and made him feel as if he really belonged here. They went to go see a Wonderbolts show which had seriously impressed Jordan; seeing Blaze, Spitfire, and Soarin doing dazzling mid-air feats was better than any airshow he'd seen back on Earth. But it wasn't really the show that had brought his spirits up... it was Rainbow. All and all, being with Rainbow made Jordan happy, plain and simple.
I have to find a way to repay her some day, he thought slowing down.
The Apple's farm had come into view and Jordan could see a crack of light shining through the barn door. For no real reason but to feel sneaky he decided to tip-toe up to the door and gently nudge it open. Upon opening the door, his eyes were temporarily blinded by the bright lantern inside.
"Eeep!" yelped a voice and Jordan saw something blue zip behind a large wagon full of apples. "Ya could've knocked y'know!"
"It didn't say I had to on the note. Besides, I wanted to be all ninja-like," he replied after his eyes finally adjust to the light. "Whatcha hiding for anyways? Didn't you have something to show me?"
"Isn't it like common sense to knock before entering instead of trying to be some creeper? And yeah I did have something to show ya! I mean... I still do! I want it to be a surprise. You didn't see anything just now didya?!" questioned the voice from behind the wagon.
Jordan sighed.
"No, I didn't see anything. My eyes were adjusting to the light. And whaddaya mean a 'surprise'? Is it like a present or something that you forgot to wrap? Because if it is Dash, you shouldn't have... I mean honestly ya shouldn't have. You've helped me out so much already and I've haven't paid ya back at all.
"That's not it! And that's not true!" the Pegasus shouted back, her voice cracking slightly.
Jordan's eyes widened at the sheer emotion of the Pegasus's words.
"you... you've helped me too..." she whispered.
"Then what are you...
"Close your eyes."
"Wha...
"Just close your eyes!" demanded the Pegasus.
Jordan shook his head in bewilderment, but obeyed the order.
"There. They're closed."
"No peeking! Promise? No, better yet Pinkie Promise?"
"Does this really call for a Pinkie Promise?"
Silence.
"Fine," Jordan sighed. "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye. Happy?"
Rainbow didn't respond and instead, Jordan heard the flutter of wings followed by something setting hoof on the ground in front of him.
"Okay... you can look now."
"Oh Rainbow..." murmured Jordan upon opening his eyes. "You look... amazing."
In front of Jordan stood Rainbow Dash dressed in the Wonderbolt's signature flying suit; the uniform was a darker shade of blue than her coat and bright yellow lightning patterns adorned several areas of the outfit. Her rainbow mane along with her wings poked out of the holes in the suit and she had spread them to their full length. Dash's cutie mark had been embroidered proudly onto the flank. There was only one problem; the goggles. They hid her perfect amethyst eyes, but Rainbow could care less. She had been accepted into the Wonderbolt Academy.
"I knew you'd make it in!" the human yelled, a large smile appearing of his face.
Dash struck a heroic pose before leaping up to embrace her friend.
"Woah!" exclaimed Jordan, stumbling backwards in surprise. "Oof!"
The two had fallen into a large bale of hay near the barn's wall with Rainbow on top still hugging her human.
"It's all because of you. Thank you so much!" cried Rainbow; she was face to face with Jordan beaming at him through her goggles.
"Me!? What the hell did I do? It wasn't me that was practicing everyday of my life to reach my dreams."
"The essay!"
"The... essay?"
"Yeah! You and I both know I can't write to save my life. Without you helping me, I never would've been accepted."
"Please, Dash," snorted Jordan. "I seriously doubt they wouldn't have accepted you. Even with a chicken-scratch essay. Besides, it was all your thoughts and feelings...I just proofread the thing."
"Still!" insisted Rainbow. "I wouldn't...
She paused mid-sentence noticing that her and Jordan's faces were only an inch or two apart. Almost immediately, Dash's face went bright red and her goggles fogged up. She quickly pushed off the human and turned away catching her breath. Jordan took this as an opportunity to sit up and brush off some of the hay on his torso.
"You wouldn't...what?" he pried cocking an eyebrow.
Rainbow took a deep breath and turned back around; her goggles were pushed up revealing a stubborn look in her gorgeous eyes.
"I couldn't have done it without you."
"If you say so..."
The Pegasus smiled as Jordan admitted defeat.
"Oh yeah!" he bellowed.
"What's up?" Rainbow queried while sitting back on her hind legs and cocking her head to the side.
"We have to celebrate! I would've brought some cider or something if I had known...
"Dude, relax," laughed Dash holding up an unmarked jar. "I've got it covered. Applejack had it in the cellar."
Jordan smirked and glanced out the top window of the barn toward the night sky.
Moonshine, eh?
(More than a few drinks later...)
"And den, ya won't believe diss, but da guitarist, h-he getssup like disss..." Jordan slurred while clumsily getting to his feet. "And he, and he, pfft hahahaha..."
"Wha, What!? What he do..?" presses the drunk Pegasus, laughter already welling up in her throat.
"Dis joker... he, he goes da edge of da sstage... and he...pffft!"
"Dude, j-juss spit it out!" implored Dash barely containing her own laughter.
"He, He jumps off like diss," said Jordan and he jumped into the large bail of hay with his hands and legs spread wide apart. "Ehep dair wuffent hennywon dair!" he finished, his words completely muffled.
"Whaaat?"
Jordan flipped over with a toothy grin on his flushed face.
"NO ONE CAUGHT'EM!"
The two friends exploded with laughter. Rainbow fell into the hay next to Jordan tears forming in her eyes from the excessive laughing fit. They laid chuckling for minutes.
Finally, both of them rolled over gazing into each other's eyes. Dash's were still shimmering from the tears while the light of the lantern glinted off Jordan's.
"Hey."
"Yeah?"
"I... I like you..."
"I like you too."
"No... I mean I..."
"Hmm?"
"I like you..."
Rainbow Dash's eyes widened and her face flushed even more red than it had been. She gazed unblinking at Jordan's eyes which seemed to have sobered up at his confession.
Finally, after what felt like years to Jordan, Rainbow burst out in tears.
"IDIOT!"
"Wha...?"
The Pegasus had cut off the human with a sudden kiss. Jordan flinched, his eyes wide with surprise at the sudden contact, but he was soon kissing back with all his heart. He felt his face becoming wet and reluctantly pulled back to see Dash's eyes had become red and puffy, tears still flowing over her blushing cheeks.
"Rainbow...
"IDIOT!" she hollered again while pushing her face into the human's chest.
"Rainbow... what's wrong?" he asked gently wrapping his arm around her small body.
The normally confident and brash pony looked up at him with the most innocent look upon her face.
"You took way too long, dummy. I thought you were never gonna say it. I love you so much," she choked out.
Jordan gave her a warm smile.
"I love you too. And I'll say it to you everyday to make up for making you wait so long."
Rainbow pushed her face back into his chest. Jordan stared down at the goggles on top of her head; she hadn't taken off her Wonderbolt uniform yet.
"You can make it up to me now..."
"Hmm? What was that?"
She looked back up at him. Her face was somehow even more flushed.
"I said you can make it up to me now."
"Oh. Okay. What should I do?"
Rainbow continued to stare at him. She raised up her brow.
"Ohhh..." he finally realized.
"I-I mean if y-you want to," she stammered once again hiding her face.
He put his hand under her chin and pulled her into another kiss.
"Of course I want to," he assured her. He even waggled his eyebrows which caused Rainbow to giggle slightly.
"You're such a dork."
"Hey, you're the one who fell for this dork."
"Yeah," she confessed, kissing him again. "I did."
They began to kiss again with much more passion than before. Rainbow held Jordan's head between her hooves while he rested his hands on her back near her wings. He pushed his tongue passed her lips exploring the inside of her mouth. Her own tongue slipped into his mouth as well and began to drag across his teeth. Rainbow had always wondered what the sharp canines felt like and she wasn't going to waste this opportunity to find out. Both of their mouths tasted like alcohol, but also something sweet the two couldn't resist. Their tongues wrapped themselves around each other in a mad wrestle for dominance. Eventually, Rainbow's long, nimble tongue out-maneuvered Jordan's small, broad one and he let her further explore his mouth.
Every so often they'd break apart gasping for breath only to go right back to it after a second or so. On one of Dash's spelunking trips into Jordan's mouth he vibrated his tongue as if he were rolling an r. This caused Rainbow to let out a moan of pleasure and break the kiss.
"What," she panted, "was that?"
"Just a little something I picked up in a high school Spanish class."
"Wha...?
But she was cut off as Jordan saw a chance to seize control. He had tightened his grip on Rainbow's back and rolled over so that he was now on top.
The Pegasus laid on her back staring up at her lover, eyes full of love and desire. Her forelegs were curled up on her chest and her wings were spread stiff out behind her, probably making a hay angel.
She's so freakin' cute, thought Jordan wondering how he had ever managed to get her to love him.
He bent down to start planting kisses on the mare's neck though it was still trapped in the suit. Nevertheless, she moaned once again running her hooves through his hair. The kisses turned to nibbles which climbed up and down her neck until Jordan's teeth found the zipper to the uniform. He trapped the zipper is his bite and slowly, but surely, made his way down Rainbow's slender body; his nose ran against her coat as he moved downward. When he reached the end, the smell of the mare's heat flooded his senses. He lifted his head and saw the wet stain of her marehood on the suit. He wanted to taste it so bad, he needed to.
Woah boy, Jordan cautioned himself. We're not in any rush. There'll be plenty of time for that later. But first...
He made his way back up the Pegasus and stared deeply into his lover's eyes. Their lips connected once again only for Jordan to break it and begin to nibble on Rainbow's ear. She let out a long moan.
"Let's get you out of this suit," he whispered into her ear.
"Ohhh please...I'm so hot!"
Jordan felt his member twitch as his lover's lustful words registered in his mind.
Oh shit, that's sexy.
He moved his anxious hands to the top of the suit and began to pull the tight material off of Rainbow. Her coat underneath was damp with sweat, but the scent was intoxicating to Jordan. He got as far down as her wings before he had trouble.
"Here," laughed Rainbow turning over onto her stomach while Jordan pulled off his t-shirt revealing his fit body.
He could now maneuver the suit over the Pegasus's stiff blue wings. He kissed and nibbled them as he pulled the uniform over and off the sensitive appendages.
"Ohh goddess, that's...good," whimpered Rainbow biting her lip.
Spurred on by this, Jordan began to massage her feathers, increasing the pressure as he went. Rainbow's moans turned to soft squeals.
"Hey... I'm not gonna last long if you keep that up..."
The human chuckled under his breath.
"Didn't know you were so sensitive."
"Sh-shut up..."
Jordan laughed again, but went back to removing the suit. As he pulled the uniform over her colorful tail, Rainbow wiggled her tight flanks in his face. Her tail swished against his bare chest and the human caught a quick glance of the glistening pink lips hidden behind the tail.
Acting on instinct, Jordan grabbed hold of her toned flanks and gave them a good squeeze.
"Ahh!" squeaked Rainbow not expecting the sudden contact.
She turned her head back to her lover with half-lidded eyes.
"I want you."
The three simple words shattered Jordan's restraint. He squeezed her again, then flipped her over onto her back.
He gazed at her wet marehood, eyes full of lust. The lips puckered open and closed longing to be kissed. He dove down burying his face in his lover's groin.
"Oh shit!" gasped Rainbow as Jordan's lips met her nethers.
He didn't just stop there either. His tongue drew quick circles on her pink labia while he pushed his way inside with his long fingers. His other hand had made its way up the mare's body to her erect nipples which he then played with. The Pegasus gasped again as the fingers pinched her nipples.
His tongue eventually found Rainbow's swollen clit. Inhaling the scent of her arousal, Jordan released the hot breath directly onto her clitoris. He flicked at it with his tongue before bringing his mouth down on it and sucking hard. Rainbow's moans increased in pitch and frequency. Jordan pulled out his fingers pushing his tongue inside in their stead. The mare brought the wet fingers up to her mouth and started sucking on her own juices.
"Mmm," she hummed tasting the fluids.
Rainbow writhed her body trying to push Jordan's tongue deeper into her nethers. Jordan found a soft, gummy patch of flesh on the ceiling of her arousal. The tip of his tongue swirled furiously over the newly discovered area. Rainbow shut her eyes tight; her moans were now verging on screams.
"Yes! Yes! Don't Stop! Please Don't Stop!" she begged feeling her climax coming on fast.
All of the sudden, Rainbow's eyes flew open and her writhing ceased. Jordan felt her walls tighten around his tongue. A whole second passed. Then, the mare's juices flooded her nethers.
"OH GODDESS! YES!" the Pegasus shrieked.
She convulsed as the climax permeated every inch of her small body. Her fluids squirted out hitting Jordan in the face, but he continued to lap at her pink lips letting her slowly float down from her high.
Her head rolled back onto the hay as she tried to catch her breath.
"That... was something else," panted Rainbow.
"It certainly was," agreed Jordan while examining a strand of her juices between his middle and index fingers.
Dash took his hand in her hooves and licked the strand from his fingers.
How can she be so damn sexy? wondered Jordan.
"Woah!"
He looked down to see Rainbow's hind leg pushing against the bulge in his now tight fitting jeans.
"Seems I wasn't the only one who enjoyed that."
Jordan looked up and saw a mischievous smile creeping up Dash's cheeks.
I don't like that the looks of that smile...
Rainbow sat up in a flash and pushed Jordan onto his butt.
"Guess I'll have to repay the deed..." she purred and started lapping at his naked chest.
Jordan propped himself up on his elbows and took a big whiff of Rainbow's mane. She smelled like... skittles? While smelling her his nose bumped the goggles still on her forehead for he had forgotten to remove them earlier. Looking at them now however, he found the way they pushed up her mane to be quite attractive. .
Dash worked her way down the human's body. She paused when she had gotten to the top of his jeans.
"Let's get these out of the way," she mused.
The mare skillfully unbuttoned his jeans using only her mouth and then took the zipper in her teeth just as Jordan had done to her earlier. She tugged down and revealed Jordan's boxer-briefs, his manhood pulsating underneath. Rainbow then shifted down to his feet pulling off his sneakers and socks. After they were off, the Pegasus grabbed both pant legs and ripped the jeans off Jordan in one fluid motion.
She's become quite bold...
Rainbow moved up and looked Jordan in the eye with a look of false innocence on her face.
"You want me to play with this guy?" she asked playfully rubbing her hoof against his briefs.
She's become really bold!
"Please," confirmed Jordan.
Dash lent in to kiss her lover then moved back down to his throbbing mass.
She licked the cloth taunting his cock for a minute or so before finally pulling down his underwear. Taking it in her hoof, she stroked up and down the shaft pulling back his foreskin. Her other hoof was massaging his balls as she continued to slowly move her hoof up then down and up and down and up...(pause for dramatic effect)... then slowly back down to the hilt.
"Oh Rainbow..." he moaned tilting his head back savoring every stroke. "Oh wow!"
Jordan tilted his head up to see a long strand of drool leading from the Pegasus's mouth to his member. Her hoof increased its speed spreading her "homemade" lubricant all over his shaft. Rainbow worked his cock for another minute before pausing to stare up at him with a questioning look. She stuck out the tip of her tongue and lowered her head down all the while staring up at her lover.
No way! Is she gonna...
His thoughts were interrupted as Rainbow's tongue met the tip of his head. She flicked it a few times causing Jordan to let out a loud moan. Another mischievous smile appeared on her face.
"Didn't know you were so sensitive," she teased throwing Jordan's own line back at him.
Oh ha-ha. Aren't we clev...
But his thoughts were once again cut short as Rainbow wrapped her mouth around his mushroom tip. She took one long suck then started bobbing her head vertically on his member. She would blow as she went down on it and suck as she came back up. Sometimes she'd carefully drag her teeth across the skin while other times she would lick the underside with her long tongue all the while bobbing her head. Then, without warning, she took his whole cock in her mouth letting the tip touch the back of her throat and gagging her.
She pulled away sputtering saliva everywhere and closing one of her eyes.
"Geez... you're too big for that y'know?"
"Th-that was y-your idea, n-not mine..." panted Jordan, a big smile on his face. He lifted one hand and caressed her cheek. "You don't have to try so hard."
"Yes I do!" she shot back, her face flushing bright red. "I want... you to feel good too."
Jordan's eyes widened.
Fuck! She's too good for me!
"I don't deserve you..."
"Yes you do. You just haven't realized it yet," said Rainbow. She went to put her mouth back on his member, but paused and looked back up at him. "Tell me when, okay?"
Jordan nodded.
Her mouth enclosed his shaft once more and she began her bobbing act with more speed than before. Jordan moved his hand from her cheek to the back of her head, locking her in place. The slurping noises she was making aroused him even more. She closed both eyes and picked up her pace again with her one hoof resting on the human's leg and the other furiously squeezing his balls.
"Oh shit Dash! I'm close!"
Rainbow slowed down looking up at Jordan. Give it to me, her eyes said.
She kicked it into overdrive going all out on his cock until...
"I'm gonna cum!" he screamed through gritted teeth.
Dash pushed off and pulled the goggles over her eyes just as Jordan's manhood started to spasm in her hoof. She pumped it with her hoof letting him paint her face and the lenses white with his seed. His hips bucked as spurt after spurt shot out the tip of his cock, her hoof milked him for all he was worth.
"Oh wow..."
Jordan's elbow buckled in exhaustion and he fell flat on his back panting. Rainbow squeezed the last couple of drops of cum into her mouth. She then climbed up onto Jordan laying on his beating chest. She took the goggles off and wiped the lenses clean with her tongue. She made a loud gulping noise and opened her mouth to show Jordan she had swallowed every last drop.
"Tastes kind of salty," she said thoughtfully.
"I wouldn't know..."
Rainbow gazed deeply into her new coltfriend's eyes and smiled the warmest and most loving of smiles.
"Good to know."
Jordan lifted his head and kissed his new marefriend on the forehead. He held her tightly in his arms as they lay together.
"I love you."
"I love you more..." yawned Rainbow.
"Getting tired?"
"No... I just..."
The human looked down to see his Pegasus had fallen asleep and was softly snoring into his chest.
Well, I guess we did drink quite a lot earlier, he thought smiling. Besides, we'll have more energy for the other stuff when we wake up.
He picked her up and gently placed her small form onto the hay. He then found a large tarp the Apple's used to cover their wagon and wrapped both Rainbow and himself tightly in it. Rainbow reached out for Jordan in her sleep and he snuggled close to her.
I'm here. And I always will be.
(Several Hours Later...)
"What a bee-utiful day!" observed an orange pony wearing a Stetson hat.
Applejack had woken up and was heading towards the barn to grab some buckets to hold the apples she would be harvesting today. She remembered how Rainbow Dash had asked her if she could use the barn to surprise Jordan on her acceptance into the Wonderbolt Academy. Applejack had said she was more than happy to let her use the barn and even take some cider from the cellar to celebrate just as long as they didn't drink her own special brew. She hoped that the alcohol would help loosen up her friends and get them to admit their feelings to each other. Everypony could see that they were perfect for each other.
She reached the barn and slowly pushed the door open. She smiled at the scene before her.
Aww... Ah'm glad they're finally together.
The two lovers were huddled up close together on a pile of hay with a wagon tarp over their sleeping bodies. Applejack smirked at the clothes strewn all about the barn and an empty bottle of her specially brewed cider tipped over next to them.
Wait! What!?
Applejack looked back at the bottle.
"RAINBOW DAAAAAAASSSSSHHHH!!!!!"
The sleeping Pegasus simply hiccuped and nuzzled closer to her human.
Author's Note
My first clopfic. To be honest, I'm not actually a clopper, but it's really fun to write them. This is kinda an exercise for writing sex scenes for my other fic.
