Prologue: The Dream
Load Full StoryNext ChapterPinkie Pie opened her eyes to the small dark room. The only light visible was a small flicker of a shortened candle. Where am I? she thought to herself. She looked for an exit but all she saw was a shadow. A shadow of another mare.
"I should have known you'd come dear Pinkie," the dark figure laughed. Pinkie knew the voice well, but couldn't identify it.
"W-who are you?" she stuttered.
"Oh dear Pinkie, you should know. Anyways on to business." Pinkie watched as it came closer. "Such a shame you have to die so young," it guffawed once more. Pinkie's eyes were wide as it came closer and closer, she saw a knife reflect the light of the candle in the dark ponies mouth. Warm tears streamed from her eyes. She was scared, though not for herself for the shadowed mare.
"Now what kind of 'hostess' would I be if I didn't let you have your last few words," the mare said coming even closer. Pinkie cleared her throat. Then began to speak two words.
"I'm sorry." Pinkie closed her eyes as the mare lunged for her throat.
