Magnus was once just an ordinary teacher at the newly built school of canterlot, but when Celestia and Luna ask him to study everything about some special fields of magic. They began with relatively easy creations like a time spell, but with time, the magic developed from the two unicorns gets more dangerous, powerful and harder to cast.

Will the two unicorns master the tasks or will they cause some serious chaos?

*Note: The story is about Starswirl and Magnus, an OC I came up with while thinking about the story and I will try to stay in the canon as long as I can, but with some additions to the known aspects of the history of Equestria.
The story will take role in Equestria some years after Hearts Warming Eve and before the rule of Discord.
