Hello! My name is Starstripe. I live inside a laptop. Not to mention, I'm a pony. This is the story of how Frostbeat, Electric Shock, (Electric) Dark Sunset, (Sunset) and I saved our world.
(Starstripe's POV)
I raced out to the Screen as it lit up. I couldn't be late. Not again! I skidded into the brightening platform. We pixel ponies don't glow. The Screen does. We are only the colors. For example, I am a black and white pony. I would be... for example, your cursor. I have to be very fast. I dashed in to be a part of the screen. I never really wanted to be a pixel pony. I always thought of going to the Motherboard, and living there. But I live in the Frame. That's the edge of the Screen. All the pixel ponies live there. There are only team of ponies that are faster than us- The 103Bolts. That's right. There are 103 keys on a laptop. The 6 ponies' jobs are to quickly fly around and press a button below each key to alert the pixel guard, Professor White Lightning, to tell us what order to go in. I could already tell this was going to be a long day. All the pixel ponies looked up to him.
"Uh... is there a Starstripe here?" the Professor asked.
"Here I am, sir!" I yelled.
"Princess Technobytes would like a word with you." he replied.
I gasped. "Y-yes sir!" I said, rushing off the screen. I ran down, into the heart the laptop, into the Motherboard, where Princess Technobytes lives.
About 45 minutes later...
I gulped as the guards of the castle stared down me and 3 other female ponies, who were behind me. The princess herself opened the doors with her magic, and we bowed down. She shook her head and beckoned us inside. Princess Technobytes sat on her throne.
"Mares, do you know why I brought you here?" she asked.
We all shook our heads.
"I have called you here because there is a weird... 'thing' going around. It lurks in the wires. Nopony knows what it is yet. That is why you are here. Starstripe, step forward."
I held my breath as I walked forward a few steps.
"You are the Power of Option. I have watched you conquer some questions even a great and powerful leader such as I cannot defeat. Electric Shock, please step forward."
The mare had a messy long mane and tail, colored electric green and black, with a dark black coat, along with dark violet eyes.
"You are the Power of Electricity. Your power with that horn of yours is nothing like I have ever heard or seen of before."
The mare blushed and looked away in embarrassment.
"Frostbeat, please step forward."
The mare had her mane and tail tied in a bow, with a light blue coat. Her coat had misty white spots on it.
"Your are the Power of Temperature. The ponies over in the heat sensors look up to you as a leader and a friend. Your power means everything, or otherwise the whole laptop could not function properly."
Frostbeat just calmly nodded in honor.
"And lastly, Dark Sunset, please step forward."
She had a dark magenta coat with dark red stripes, the same with her mane.
"You are the Power of Light. Despite your name, you glow like the Screen itself. We will need all of your Powers to defeat this 'monster'. To defeat it... forever.
(Frostbeat's POV)
I woke up, yawning. I stay in the Mouse, I am the leader, after all. White Lightning and I use sign language to communicate to each other. He told me that I needed to go to the Motherboard to see Princess Technobytes. I shrugged and said "Okay" in sign language. I left Blazer in charge. He helps me lead the 'Mouse Herd'. Blazer is my brother, after all. Our parents both live in the Motherboard, being retired from the position of the leaders of the herd. We are just here to live on the family tradition as strong leaders and friends.
5 minutes later.
