I am Michael and I am part of an organization that is above the Anti-magic Defence Unit; we are called the Monitors. The Monitors job is really difficult, and in order to join this group of people you must first fake your death perfectly and then wipe everything about yourself, but sometimes they won't even let you in (They have to see if your worthy).

It is quite a difficult job to do, that’s why there is only twenty-five people in the group. There is another group though, and they are people that just help us do our job. For over a hundred years we have been monitoring the planet and how its doing; everything about it, we have been watching.

Everything usually runs smoothly, all the organizations under us take care of most things and we never have to do anything, usually. This time though, it is different; the AMDU have almost been wiped out due to the magic element the have found.

They claim that it is actually alive and has great power.

That’s when I had to step in, along with my other group members. We have already ordered the AMDU to stop everything and sit this out. Their only job now was to supply us with details. Of course, the general, general Lary wasn't to pleased with this and wanted to continue his operation.

I was not going to let him do that though, so I pulled their plug, so to speak. I simply went in, and killed them all.

Now that the AMDU is gone my group can take over. This thing, whatever it is will not make its next objective. We have much stronger equipment then the AMDU and can actually track the thing down much faster.

Ever wonder why the world hasn’t developed stronger technology? It is a simple answer really. It is because we wont let the world advance further than they need to be. Everytime they try to invent something that allows people to teleport we just come in and ‘poof’, it’s gone, along with all the notes.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Our technology allow us to track this thing within ten meters. Right now it is in the Atlantic ocean and headed straight to Canada. When that thing gets there it will have a surprise.

It is headed to a place covered in trees which will be a perfect place to ambush it. I can’t wait to study this thing and then find out what makes it so powerful, as the AMDU described it.

The thing should be at its destination in about an hour, that will give us plenty of time to get there.

I came up to the intercom and pressed the screen. “Dear Monitors, it is time to get our guys to Nova Scotia and evacuate McNutts island if there is anyone there of course,” I said with a chuckle, my group knew that that means to kill anyone who is on that island. Once someone sees us, they must die. “Expect the creature to be violent and unpredictable. We know that is basically an elemental and can change into anything, so be prepared. I want five hundred of our best soldiers there and let them have any weapon that is available. I want it captured if possible, if not then dead.”

This creature is going to be mine whether it likes it or not. I hope I get to talk to it though, it is one-of-a-kind after all.

Before I took my finger away from the screen I said, “Just in case, have a thousand other soldiers to be around the island, but not on the water.” I then took my finger away and went back to looking at the radar which pinpointed the location of the creature.

When I first saw the creature going into the Atlantic ocean, I thought it was on a ship or a boat but then it sped up to one thousand kilometers an hour. It is insane, watching this thing that is going a thousand km/h, it just makes you wonder what humans are going to be capable of doing in a few hundred years.

I never really told you about myself, have I? Well I am actually a person that was born into this job due to my abnormal structure and abilities. I have the power to get inside someones mind and ‘break it’. I can break someone in a matter of seconds, it all depends on the will of a person.

My abnormal structure? Well I am ten feet tall with black eyes and black hair. Plus, my skin is pale white. Now that I think about it, I might have to be there to tame this creature. For now though, I will be on the side lines waiting and stalking my future test subject.

I picked up a glass of my homemade whisky and raised it in the air.

“Come my creature and join me.”
