Chapter 4: Still alive; with a side of relaxing!

I woke up feeling extremely tired; I looked to the clock which stated it was 11:00 am. Then I started to remember the event that happened last night and recall that I have giving some of my blood to Chrissy. I looked around myself and see that I am in my bed felling OK and no pain. ‘I guess Chrissy really did mean it will not hurt… that’s good,’ I thought happily; being alive made me happy and now I know I can trust her fully.

I sit up in my bed and smell something really nice ‘Is that… PANCAKES!?’ I took a big breath of the air and concluded that indeed it is pancakes. I am guessing that Chrissy made me something; that put a massive smile on my face. Then my smile disappeared when I realized that this might be someone else in my house and Chrissy was just a dream.

I quickly got out of my bed… ‘huh, I’m still wearing cloths maybe it wasn’t a dream?’ I thought but I still needed to find out who was making that noise. I take a step out of my bedroom door and start heading toward the kitchen. I get there and turn a corner to see Chrissy lying on the floor covered in flour. I think at that moment I had a mini heart attack because of so much cute in one place.

“Rain! Your awake, I made some pancakes for you,” I couldn’t help but smile widely at her and I got one in return. “You did feed me so I wanted to show you my gratitude for feeding me,” Chrissy said still covered in flour, wearing a large grin and then looked at her self and smiled sheepishly, “I’ll clean this up, I’m sorry you have to see this.” Then Chrissy lowered her head in shame.

“It’s alright, Chrissy I’ll help with the cleaning… By the way, you look a little bit white,” I grin and try to hold down a small laugh. I think she was blushing but I couldn’t really tell through all the flour. “When we are done cleaning and eating, I want to go and explore the forest… do you want to come?” Chrissy instantly perked up and nodded.

“That would be wonderful!” Chrissy said with a beaming smile. ”Food is on the table, hope you enjoy!” Chrissy said before getting back to cleaning the kitchen.

I went to the table between the kitchen and the living room and sat down. Turns out my suspicions were correct; Chrissy made pancakes. I take the pancakes and start inhaling the pancakes, ‘These. Are. THE BEST PANCAKES THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN!’ I had no clue were Chrysalis knew how to cook this well, but they are just amazing; I just had to get this recipe for these.

It only took 5 minutes to finish the rest of the pancakes. It seemed like I can eat these forever and still not get tired of them. When I finished, I when back to the kitchen to see Chrysalis struggling with washing the mixing bowl; standing on a stool over the sink trying to clean it.

“Need some help? You look like your about to fall.” I said a bit too quickly because I heard her ‘eep’ before falling of the stool. I instantly jumped and caught her when she was falling. Chrissy said a little ‘Thank you’ before you set her down on the floor and say, “I will wash the rest, go take a shower, you still have some flour on you,” She looked a bit confused, I was guessing she didn’t know were the washroom is? “Down the hall, second door to the left.” At that she smiled with a look of gratitude and went towards the bathroom.

After a few minutes of sweeping and cleaning, Chrissy came back still with flour on her. “I don’t know how to turn it on,” she said with an annoyed expression,” I have never seen something like that before.”

“It’s alright I guess our technology is more advanced than yours,” I said while walking towards the bathroom. “It’s a simple twist of the nob and the water will come out.” I say; then enter my bathroom and turn on the lights.

I come to the bathtub; she is too small for the shower and show Chrissy how to work the nob for the hot and cold water. Chrissy seems to understand the lights and how they work and the oven but not the shower nobs, ‘Maybe they are a different design then ours to fit better for their hoof?’ I thought and started to leave the bathroom for Chrissy to get comfortable and get clean.

I went back to the living room and turned on the TV to try and find a channel to watch. It takes me a few minutes but I finally find something that isn’t in Spanish. It was a channel that had some history of past wars and what happened during the time.

I watched for about 10 minutes before Chrissy came back and started to look at the TV with wide eyes and asked me, “What is this thing? I have never seen something so small be able to project an image.”

“Well this is called a TV it allows people to communicate with each other all over the world; right now we are watching a war documentary that explains everything we did wrong and everything we did right.” I tell Chrissy while she still stares at the TV like it’s her life line.

“You mean this shows war strategies?” She asks hopefully. I nod my head and tell her I’ll be right back. Before I left I saw her expression; one of a devious and wicked smile.

I go to my room and find the book ‘The art of war’; once I found it in one of my shelves I go back to the living room. I give her the book and she instantly goes wide eyed and just stares at it. “This is a book about everything war related, tactics, espionage, planning, basically everything war related and it’s also my favorite book.”

“Can I read it? In Equestria there hasn’t been a war in a few hundred years it’s always peaceful; if I read this I can probably take down Celestia and Luna… If I ever come back,” I seem to deflate a bit; I don’t want her to leave- “Maybe I can find a way to bring you with me so you can help me take down Celestia and Luna.”

My face instantly brightens up at that comment and say, “Really!? I can go back with you if you find a way?” I asked in a very up-beat voice. “If you ever do find a way back, I would love to go; my life here isn’t as great as it seems. I am a student success teacher after all, I just check if any student needs help getting through school. Sometimes I help them if they are doing badly in school.” I say looking down toward the ground. My life was always so boring, I never really do anything but if I can go with her I guess life will change for the better; won’t be boring… I hope.

Chrissy seemed to inflate with joy and quickly flew up to me and hugged me tightly for a few seconds before letting me go. “Then I will have to find a way back; my horn should heel in about a week and a half maybe less; then I can use my magic to find out if I can teleport with you back!” When she finished that statement you pick her up and hug her, Chrissy tensed up but then wrapped her hooves around me. “I will also need your mind to teach my swarm how to fight.” Chrissy said and I simply nodded and let her go.

Two days ago: Anti magic defence unit (AMDU) headquarters:

Position: Area 51

“Sir, we have some magic, somewhere in Cuba. We will try to pinpoint the location but that might take a while” Lisa said to general Lary.

“Find out where it is as fast as you can, and when you find the source, test it to find out which universe it comes from!” General Lary said in an enraged voice, “We can’t let this thing do anything, we must destroy it once found!”

“Sir, yes Sir” Lisa said and began to calculate where this object is. ‘I don’t know if I can even find this abject it feels too small…’ Lisa thought to herself while looking through the readings.

General Lary gathered all the people in the unit to a small stage to tell them what he found, “Alright guys and girls, I have bad news. We have found a magic reading of two which is twice as high as the world’s magic power,” There was a collected amount of gasps in the crowd and general Lary continued, “It is somewhere in Cuba, that is all we know for now. Once we find this magical source we need to instantly eliminate it at all costs!” There were now some cheers from the 50 people in the crowd, “If we don’t find this device at can cause a lot of damage to this world, It will take us at least 4-6 weeks to find it… If this magic emitting device gets a magic reading over five, we will have a big problem on our hands; who knows what that could do?” General Lary paused for a moment before continuing, “So I want all of you to get your lazy asses to work and find that object!” There was a few ‘Sir, yes Sir’s in the group and everyone started on finding the object in question.

Present time: Chrysalis and Rain exploring the forest:

I was now just sitting beside Chrissy While she read the book I showed her on war. I found a lovely place beside a small river in the forest. We were well shielded from the blistering sun but it was still quite hot; I decided I will go lie in the river. I looked in the river and saw it was crystal clear so I started to take my shirt and shorts off.

“What are you doing?” Chrissy said and blushed once she saw my bare chest and back. I wasn’t that muscular; due to my swimming my shoulders are really wide so it looked like I am buff. I looked to her and saw that she was a really bright green color now; she looked incredibly adorable now.

“I’m just going to go in the water… It is way too hot to just sit around, doing nothing,” I started to take off my shorts but paused to go as slow as plausible to get her whole face to turn green. I just smiled when I saw her just looking at my ass and said, “Enjoying the view?” I asked once I took off my shorts completely and started to head to the water.

I saw her whole body start to turn green, ‘A body blush? I must be good.’ Then she just looked at me with a smirk and said, “I’ve seen better.” Chrissy said still blushing.

“...You’re nice.” I said with a snort.

Chrissy didn’t respond to that and just continued to read while still peaking at my body sometimes. I just got in the water and sat down; the water was nice and refreshing and I loved it! An hour passed before I asked Chrissy a question, “You wanna come in? The water is just fine.” I told her; it took her a while to find an answer.

“I don’t know… I’m still reading.” That answer was not good enough for me so I stood up, looked at her and saw she was just sitting staring up at the trees. I quickly and quietly got up and made my why over to her. I slowly reach down to grab her… I grab her and quickly throw her in the water and heard her make a cute ‘eep’ before falling in the water. When she surfaced I jumped in the water to cover her with a wave of water. Chrissy surfaced again and looked at me with a bored stare.

“Come on… This is a vacation; enjoy it while it lasts; once you get back you are probably going to war… Relax.” I said while lying back down in the water and closed my eyes…

The next thing I know I am I’m getting splashed with Chrissy laughing her as-flank Off. I just dive under the water which thankfully is 3 feet and grab her hooves and trip her so she goes in the water, face first. I resurface to see her all wet, her mane flat against her neck and head while looking at me with a shit-eating grin.

“You’re no fun sometimes. You know that?” Chrissy asks me still looking quite upset for dunking her under the water. I chuckle a bit before I reach forward grab her again and pull her for a long hug. She tenses up but then wraps her hooves around me as well.

“You’re so cute when you’re flustered!” I tell her still smiling widely and then realize what I’m doing – and what I said – I cover my mouth; quickly let go of her and say, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean-“ Chrissy cut me of putting a hoof to my lips and smiled.

“It’s alright I… well… uh, kind of enjoyed it.” She said almost a whisper that I couldn’t hear. I noticed she was blushing a bit, still cute as ever.

“Then why did you stop? I thought you like getting hugged?” I teased more; I don’t know why but just talking with her is awesome but every time I talk to her or see her, I brighten up, ‘Maybe because she’s a different spices, from a different world?’ I thought as she slowly came back to me with really green cheeks and just hugged me. It took me by surprise but I let her.

We stayed that way for a few minutes before she let me go and said, “Thank you, it has been a long time since I had anypony to hug; being a queen of a nation doesn’t allow me to relax and nopony sees this side of me, plus nopony really likes me because of what I feed on.” Chrissy said and looked down while sighing.

“Well I like you, you are my first really good friend that I love to talk to,” I start to feel my cheeks burning as well, “You are really kind and nice, and you have the same war interest as I do. That’s why I want to go to Equestria with you.” I finish feeling cheesy; never in my life have I spoken to a girl like this.

Chrissy seemed to like that comment because her ears went straight up and she smiled at me, then frowned when she looked up, “… Shouldn’t we go back home? The sun is starting to set after all.” Chrissy said.

“I guess we should, get some rest and think of a plan for tomorrow.” I said and smiled. I started to slowly get up from the water and saw Chrissy smirking at my body. I climb out of the water and get a towel to dry myself off. It doesn’t take me long to dry off and cloth myself fully so I sit down and wait for Chrissy to come out and get dried as well.

“Well… Are we going home or not? Like you said the sun is setting.” I said slightly annoyed that I have to wait now for her. She quickly got out of the water and shook – like a dog – herself clean. I just sat there a bit dumbfounded that she could do that so quickly, ‘that explains why she stayed in the water for longer.’ I simply shrugged at that, put on my bag and started to slowly make our way back to the house. There was still a question on my mind that had me concerned. “Hey, Chrissy. How many times do you have to feed on blood… or love?” I asked feeling a bit nervous.

“Don’t worry; I only need to feed on blood once every five to seven days. I don’t require a lot to sustain myself.” Chrissy told me and I instantly sighed in relief. She is only going to feed on me every week or so; we might be able to find a substitute for this later on… I think.

We reached my house and I go to pull out my keys only to find them floating in mid-air… I look to chrissy who is wearing a big grin on her face and she said, “It only requires a small amount of magic to levitate objects, anypony can do it if you focus enough on the object.” Chrissy levitated the key to the door and slowly unlocked it. I was quite surprized that anyone can levitate objects and she is just doing it without much thought.

“Soooo you can teach me how to levitate objects?” I ask somewhat hopefully; I always wanted to levitate things but I thought it was only a legend.

“Yes I can, it is not that hard but it will take a few hours to start off.” I felt so happy at that moment, never thought I would be able to levitate objects.

We entered my home, locked the door behind us and headed off towards the living room. We sat down and made some small talk while watching the history channel. I got some sweets to eat while we were watching; soon after I checked the clock which read 10:45 pm. I knew it was time to take a shower and head to bed.

“Chrissy, I’m going to take a shower and go to bed. You should do that too.” I told Chrissy. She simply yawned and nodded.

“I’ll take a shower after you; I do need some rest if I’m going to be training you tomorrow.” Chrissy said lazily; clearly tired from the day of fun we had.

I walk to the bathroom, get in, close the door, undress and then take a shower. Once I finished; I dressed again. I when back to the living room and tell Chrissy she can go take a shower as well. “Before you go, you can take my bed again I’ll sleep here.” I told her and she frowned.

“That won’t do your bed is big enough for the both of us…” Chrissy trailed off from the thought of her sleeping beside a stallion. She quickly left the room and went to the shower. I think I saw her smile wickedly again but I didn’t pay much mind to it. I went to my room and undressed get under the covers of my bed and wait for her to join in.

When Chrissy waked back in the room she was smirking. I rolled my eyes at this and patted the spot next to me. Chrissy slowly got on to the bed and lay down beside me. I covered her with the blanket and said a simple, “Goodnight, Chrissy.” And stared to drift off into sleep.

“Goodnight, Rain…” That’s all I heard before sleep took hold of me.

Well, Chrysalis's evil side? or is the only one who is actually evil is Rain? Well hope you enjoy next chapter will come in 2-5 days maybe more. I have some clubs to attend. I will try to get 2 more chapters up by the end of this week and then I will be off to a cottage for a week.
