I and Chrysalis talked like that for at least hours until my stomach growled at me electing a small giggle from Chrissy which is a nickname I gave her; she seams pleased with this name so I’m going to stick with it.

“Well I guess my stomach wants to cut this conversation short for now, I will go get us some food… be back soon!” I said to Chrissy which was still giggling at the remark I made. ‘She is a great conversation pony and a friend… I finally have someone to talk to,’ those thoughts brought a smile to my face as I thought I could talk to her for a long time and still not get bored. She is very interesting after all.

Before I got to the bedroom door she stopped me with a hoof on my shoulder and said, “You know I don’t eat conventional food? Right?” She was right I don’t know how to give her love, but I have to feed her.

“What else do you feed on aside from love from others?” I ask Chrissy with a bit of worry in my voice. I did want her to stay healthy but I have no clue as to what else she could eat. That worried me deeply; she was my only friend right now.

“Well, I can feed on one more thing, but it is hard to get…” Chrissy trailed of, I don’t know how hard it can be to get something to eat for her and I didn’t want to lose my friend so fast.

“Come on don’t keep me waiting I want you to stay healthy after all,” I said and then Chrissy looked down with a slight frown on her muzzle so I asked about it. “Is something wrong, Chrissy?” I asked worry still in my voice. “How hard can getting you food be?” I asked; she looked at me with a sad frown that I hated to see.

“The thing is, the other thing I can eat is… well… blood.” She whispered and then looked to the floor with the same sad expression.

“Will it kill me if I gave you some of my blood?” I asked. I really wanted her to be happy so if this wouldn’t kill me I can give her some of my blood, it will regenerate after all.

Chrissy shook her head quickly and said, “It won’t kill you but you will pass out, maybe due to blood loss; but I can’t just barge in here and ask of you of your blood, you already let me sleep here, showed me only kindness and… and, I can’t repay you for this… forgive me.” She said with a lot of sadness in her tone of voice, I can’t stand her being all depressed.

“Don’t worry about it just let me eat and then you can take some blood from me… ohh ya, almost forgot, you can stay here as long as you want it’s fun having you around.” Then I walked out of the room into the kitchen to prepare some food.

P.O.V: Chrysalis

I just sat there dumbfounded and slacked jaw; he brings me here to rest up and heal, gives me his own blood to see me happy and he also likes having me around. Nopony has ever being so nice to me before, not even my minions. He’s too kind for his own good but he seems to know exactly what he is doing. Even Rarity, the element of generosity can’t put a flame to that.

I quickly shake my head with a big grin on my muzzle; look out the window and wait for Rain to come back so I can talk some more with him. ‘Now I have somepony to talk to all the time,’ I thought with an even bigger grin on my muzzle, ‘I think being teleported to this place – were ever it is – was the best thing to ever happen to me… I feel at peace.’

There it was the first time I truly felt at home and this is not even the same planet! I will have to make it up to Rain one day to thank him for all of this, this is truly amazing…

P.O.V: Rain

I prepared some spaghetti and ate quietly, recalling all the moments that just transpired. To me this was truly great; I became great friends with a new species from a different planet and now I can talk to someone to ease the loneliness I feel. It has being some time since I ever really had conversation with someone; no-one really liked me for being so dark on the inside but Chrissy seems totally fine with that. I say we are quite alike in many ways except her being different spices from me, other than that we are the same.

I finished eating and had some water, ‘I really hope this won’t hurt… Maybe it’s like taking a needle?’ I was terrified at that point, I hated needles but if it keeps Chrissy healthy I think I can sacrifice some of my blood after all. I still have some mixed feelings about her, sometimes I’m terrified and sometimes I think I can actually trust her; one thought kept going through my head though, ‘Maybe she just wants to kill me…’

I start to slowly walk back to my bedroom but before I go in I check my watch, ‘WHAT?! IT’S ALREADY 8 pm… HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! Well that was an okay day I guess.’ After my little fit I walked in the room, Chrissy was sitting on her hunches and was looking out the window. ‘I still can’t believe I’m going to do this…’

I think Chrissy heard me because she instantly looked back to me with a happy yet worried look.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Rain?” Chrissy asked me and I simply nodded without much thought. “OK… uh, lie down so I can take some blood from your neck.” I froze; I had no idea it will be from my neck…

“Are you sure it’s not going to hurt, Chrissy?” I asked somewhat hesitantly, she’s like a vampire and then it hit me. Maybe she is a vampire and I am going to turn into her. “Will I turn into you when this is done? You sound like a vampire now.” I asked worried.

She just laughed at me and said, “Don’t be silly, this doesn’t hurt because of a toxin in my teeth that make the pain subdue… And no, the toxin won’t kill you.” That made me release a breath that I was not aware I was holding.

“Alright then…” I said and slowly get on my bed, lie on my back and close my eyes, ready for death. I feel her climb onto the bed and then on my chest… I can feel her muzzle breathing warm air on my neck and I am just too terrified to even do anything. I start to feel her teeth on my neck and I tense up a bit before it happened… I felt a small pain but then it just vanished completely, I didn’t know if it was over or not but I still feel her on my chest. I start to fade in and out and become very dizzy but I still held my eyes closed; soon after my world faded and I passed out.
