Equestria Girls 2: Fedora Men
Tasked Too Much
Load Full StoryNext Chapter“Not again” Twilight mumbled under her breath, she had a rough idea of what Celestia wanted her for.
Being a princess wasn’t what she imagined, there was some fame and attention but it was all overshadowed by more sobering realization that she was just a glorified errand mare. Despite only doing errands of grave importance it caused Twilight to feel a little depressed, her whole life’s purpose to study magic and she proved herself at such a young age, there was little for her to learn and as a princess she had no ambitions or any position she wanted to strive to achieve, all she had left in her life was running errands that Celestia needed Twilight for and as very few opportunities came up it left Twilight feeling bored, even her friends were a little blasé and rarely had the time to talk to “Princess Sparkle”
These depressing thoughts ran through her head like a greyhound chasing a cat with no fatigue. All she wanted was a break from her duties as a princess however it seemed there was no escaping her “destiny”. Twilight slowly walked towards the room where Celestia asked to meet her, she took her time to ensure she had a few extra moments before assigned to another task for the princess.
“Pleased to see you Twilight, Equestria needs your help again.” though Twilight instantly sighed upon hearing Celestia greet her that way.
Despite the sigh Celestia still continued delivering her assignment, “your element of harmony was stolen and I believe it was taken into another world through a mirror portal.”
Once again Twilight sighed and mumbled under her breath about how this was an unoriginal idea, it only just took her to a high school a few days earlier and she was not looking forward to a repeat visit.
“However Twilight this isn’t the same world you visited earlier, we know nothing else of this world though.” Celestia continued.
Twilight just followed Celestia’s orders blindly, even following her into a room she never noticed with a mirror similar to what she used to travel to the high school earlier in this same week. It felt like an unoriginal idea for someone to steal the element again, Twilight didn’t even feel any motivation to complete Celestia’s errand besides it being something to liven up her dreary, mundane existence. She stepped into the mirror without any second thought, no goodbyes to her mentor, just a few simple steps into a world she wasn’t prepared for just for sake of change.
