Twilight's Flying Lesson

Twilight has a dream where she does alot of awesome tricks. She's really happy that she can do all these tricks - But she wakes up, and she realizes it's just a dream.

"Damn, I thought I was actually that good at flying. Well, the dream inspired me, I guess i can do a bit." Twilight tells herself.

She walks to the kitchen and gets some breakfast. She stands up, and flies out, and off to Rainbow.

She's now at Rainbow's house again. Silently opening the door, to make sure she isn't asleep, and she just wakes her up.

Well, she sees Rainbow Dash sitting by the table, getting some breakfast.

"Hey, Rainbow!" Twilight says while smiling.

"Oh, hey Twilight! What's up? Ready to do some tricks?" Rainbow asks, while sounding very excited.

"Yes, of course. I actually had a really inspiring dream tonight! I might be able to do very well this time." Twilight replies.

"Let's hope it'll go well." Rainbow grinned.

They fly off, and on the way they ask the others, if they wanna join them. Only Pinkie and AJ says yes. Rarity has to make a ton of dresses before sundown. And Fluttershy needs to take care of alot of critters.

They arrive at the training spot again.

"Are you ready, Twilight!?" Rainbow asks.

"Ready as I'll ever be!... I guess. We'll see how it goes." Twilight replies, very nervous.

"You can do it, Twilight!" Pinkie yells, trying to sound inspiring, for Twilight's sake.

"Eyep, ya'll just fly up there, and do all of them cool tricks!" Applejack says.

She runs very fast, and makes her usual leap into the air. She's airborn, and flying fast. She makes a few barrel rolls, and crashes.

"Wow! Ouch.. That hurt. I think I hurt my right wing." Twilight says.

The others run to her, asking if she's able to fly. She nods, but like she's not actually sure.

She flies into the air again, and tries to fly. It was kind of hard. She flies to the ground again, looking downwards, and she doesn't want to look up, at her friends' disappointed faces.

She looks up, and her friends look sad, but she can see, it's not pure disappointment. They're sad on her behalf.

"We'll get you to the hospital, and we'll see if there's anything they can do." Rainbow says frowning.

"Ok, thank you." Twilight says while smiling.

They're at the Ponyville Hospital.

"Can you please take a look at my friends wing?" Rainbow Dash asks.

"Of course, right away!" The nurse replies.

The nurse takes a look at the wing, and tells them, that she had sprained the wing.

The others look very sad.

"No need to frown, it's not very bad. She should be able to fly again tomorrow. Don't worry about that. She just has to stay off the wing till then, and it should be as good as new." The nurse says. Not knowing, that the wings were basically new. Well, she probably didn't realize, it was Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Well, they took off home, and Twilight just found one of her books.

"Flying guide, for beginners. That seems interesting." Twilight says.

She reads the book, and a few hours has past, and it's getting late, she gets into bed, and tries to fall asleep. Her wing is still aching a bit, so it takes her some time. She finally falls asleep, and has the same dream as last night, but this time she dreams further.

She does alot of loops, and barrel rolls, and all kinds of awesome tricks. And as Pinkie basically predicted she'll do. She does a Sonic Purpleboom. Yes, Purplboom. She's purple, she can't do a Rainboom, that's physically impossible.

She wakes up, and is smiling, because it's already morning. She touches her wing, to see if it still hurts. But luckily, it doesn't.

She flies off to Carousel Boutique first, to see if she's done working on the dresses. She was.

"Well, can you come see me train today? I sprained my wing yesterday, so I had to wait till today." Twilight asks.

"Of course, you just come get me, when you're going." Rarity says smiling.

Twilight flies off to Fluttershy's Carnage.

"Fluttershy, can you come today?" Twilight asks her.

"Sure I can, when are you going?" Fluttershy asks.

"Not sure, maybe in an hour, I'll come get you, when we go." Twilight states.

She flies off to Rainbow's house now. She knocks on the door. Rainbow Dash opened the door.

"I've been expecting you... But you're late, why?" Rainbow asks.

"Sorry, I just went to Rarity's and Fluttershy's first, to see if they could come aswell." Twilight says.

Rainbow just nods along, and tells her to come inside, and get some breakfast.

She just goes inside. They get some breakfast, and they're off again. They get the others on the way.

They're at the training spot, once more.

"Don't crash like that, this time, ok Twilight?" Rainbow grins.

Twilight flies into the air. She's trying to feel the direction of the wind, and such, so she can know, when to do the tricks.

She does a loop, and is succesful. She does 3 loops at a time, and is just about to crash, when she straightens up again.

She does a few barrel rolls, and is still straight afterwards. She flies as fast as she can now. You can even see that sound barrier that sorrounds Rainbow Dash, when she's about to do a Sonic Rainboom. She almost breaks it, but just like what happened to Rainbow, when she practiced for it, a year ago or something. She gets thrown back. She doesn't crash, though. She just straightens up, and lands safely, and flies back to the others.

"Wow Twilight you almost did that, purpleboom!" Pinkie yells. Laughing as hard, as ever.

Twilight, and the others laughs with her.

"Yeah! I think I'll try that one more time." Twilight says.

She runs faster, and faster, and leaps powerfully into the air, and flies as quick as ever. The barrier that sorrounds her is almost broken.

A gigantic boom was heard, and a big explosion was done. She actually did the Sonic Purpleboom. It was purple, with some white colors in the middle, just Rainbow's Rainboom.

Everyone cheered for her.

"That was simply amazing, darling!" Rarity yells.

"Woohoo! I can predict stuff!" Pinkie yells, while smiling, and almost grinning.

"Cornsarnit, that was amazing, Twila!" Applejack says excited.

"Yay! You did it!" Fluttershy says.

And Rainbow is just standing there, wondering what just happened, if she was dreaming, or whatever.

Twilight flies to her, and asks her, if she's alright.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just really surprised. Guess I'm no longer the only one who can do that, huh?" Rainbow Dash says/asks.

"Well, I could make the boom, but I'm still not as good a flyer as you. And remember, I'm an Alicorn. Alicorns are usually very fast. And don't worry, I'm sure you're alot faster than me, still." Twilight states.

Twilight tells Rainbow to go up, and try to fly. She makes a Sonic Rainboom in a split second.

"I told you, you're better than me!" Twilight yells while smiling.

Rainbow flies down again.

"Remember Rainbow, you can still do it, like it's nothing. I need to run fast at start, and then speed up, for Celestia knows how long." Twilight says, after Rainbow landed.

Rainbow just nods, and winks to Twilight.

They all circle around Twilight. And once again... Group-hug!

They all hug, again. They finish, and says their goodbyes, and flies off home.

They all go to bed, and sleeps.
