Mankind. The descendant of LUCA ( first carbon based organism) like every other organism evolved on Earth. In the year 2156 Mankind created a (crude) Alcubierre drive to search for others Organisms in the Cosmos. Mankind found none and so he started converting the worlds for himself over a course of 48 years. And for those 48 years, considered himself the only life in the universe along with all the other Organisms from Earth. But like every equation Mankind has made, if one wrong input into an equation is wrong, the answer is very different. And Mankinds knowledge is very good, but based off what he see's and how he processes what he see's.
