Helmet Cam feed: LIVE (REC)

The ODST left the hive to only find his forest of splinters and shrapnel caused by Shotgun Rain. He slung his 12 gauge over his back and made his way out of the forest and moved onto a cobblestone road leading in two directions: the right leading to a cottage that was light faintly in the second story window, and the left leading to an intersection that was going to a certain town that his objectives were in.
"Decisions, decisions. Left to some other crazy shit or right to start some serious shenanigans. I think right sounds like alot more fun to me. Lets go that way." The ODST made his way to the intersection, and stopped to see a signal that looked like a waiting horse."Hell, may as well start this career of right by following the rules."
And so the ODST waited, hoping the signal would change quicker. It was about 10 minutes before the ODST got restless and began swearing under his breath.
"Fuck it, you know what, I'm gonna cross the street anyway." As soon as he did so, a horse or pony since it was much to small to be a horse, wearing a police hat and police uniform galloped over to him.
"Freeze! You're under arrest for J-walking!"
"Aw what, come on! There's no traffic out here at all!"
"Sorry, just doing my job." With that note, the police officer pony slapped the cuffs on his hands and escorted him to the nearby police station.
"Can I pay the bail at least?" Dawn tried to convince the officer, but he wasn't having any of Dawn's shenanigans.
"Sorry, but since you don't look like anything I've ever seen or heard except from that crazy pony Lyra, you're in here until morning."
"So is this "Lyra" coming to pick me up, or what?"
"We'll give her a call tomorrow morning, but she may say no."
"You mean "neigh", right?" Dawn burst into laughter and started nudging the others in his cell, who started laughing as well.
"Very funny, now get some rest you shitheads. Long day of paperwork and phone calls."

THE NEXT DAY...

"Alright, you with the funny looking armor, get over here and fill this out," the cop said.
"Okay, what is it?" Dawn asked.
"Release forms under the order of Mayor Mare. You sir just got lucky."
"Okay, I'll assume that means I'm free to go?"
"Not just yet. You will be escorted to downtown and will speak the Mayor about your situation."
"Alright," Dawn signed as quickly as he could,"can I go now?"
"Sure."
MEANWHILE AT THE MAYOR'S OFFICE...
"Alright Ma'am, he's all yours."
"Thank you officer," she said as the cop left the room, "so you're the 'human' if I've heard correctly?" She asked him frowning at him through his helmet.
"Yes ma'am, but I have to ask, why aren't I being sent to someone of higher political power rather than just a mayor?"
"Well, the princesses are of on other important business and the Element's are off on another one of there 'adventures'
and can't deal with you until they're back, so I was seen as the main leader of investigating your presence here."
"Okay, well, I'll just start explaining from the beginning. First I was I was abandoned by my squad, leaving me stranded with the horrors of survival in a wasteland with the task of making my way to a ratty old bomb shelter they used as an 'Alamo', or final stand, and that fell, so they left. When I got there, an enemy ship popped into the atmosphere and I rushed into the shelter and fixed the vault to working conditions. Then I scouted it out and looked for food and water, but I found all of those along with liquor storage, so I decided, 'LET'S GET FUCKING HAMMERED!', and ended up passing out on a gurney and waking with the worst hangover known to the universe and found a portal. Acknowledged it's existence, then moved to an armory, got this fine suit of armor, and hopped on into the portal. Questions so far?"
"Three. One, you are military personnel, two, what rank are you, and three, did you use a firearm in the forest in the middle of the night?" The brown mare looked at the ODST with a faint look of worry. But before Dawn could answer her questions, a flash of gold blinded him.

MEANWHILE IN CANTERLOT CASTLE...
"So, Dawn Stryker. Tell me why and how you ended up in Equestria." The much taller white pony horse thing with wings and a horn had asked him from atop the thrown in front of him.
"Well, if you let me finish telling that mayor back there, you would probably know. But I'll explain myself AGAIN, due to me being a guest and all."
After explaining the recent events, the tall equine creature nodded, and took in all of the information. But he did not tell her about the meeting with Chrysalis.
"Well, you're lucky you got away from the changelings. And to be honest, I like the idea of 'Shotguns' if the can take out afew timberwolves for good with a few rounds, as opposed to our pistols chambered in the equivalent of your 9mm rounds.
But unfortunately, I am going to ask you to lay down your weapons and allow us to study them."
"No need. I can take them all apart with my eyes closed, except for the flash, stun, and frag grenades. If you allow me to write reports on them along with schematics, can I keep them with me since there are things in your world that can easily kill an unarmed man? Also, I didn't catch your name."
"I'm Princess Celestia, and you may as long as you keep you're weapons larger than 9x19 caliber and semi-automatic fire."
"Alright, thanks, but can I speak with a pony willing to house a homeless creature in the town of Ponyville, by any chance?"
"I will see what I can do. Until further notice you will be on your own. I'll teleport you back to Ponyville in front of the local tavern so you may make some friends."
"Thank you for your understanding. Actually, can you not ask if I can have a roommate? I would like for this to be interesting."
"Suit yourself."
As Dawn teleported, it occured to him that he has a job to do for his queen.
