Putting things Together (Part 3 of 4)

Previous Chapter

You looked up at the agitated, spectrum maned pegasus then back at the alicorn princess, who had started screaming from atop her balcony. Twilights angered screams had become an unrecognizable jumble of sounds, so you looked back at Rainbow and told her, "Listen, I don't know what I did, but as long as it gets me away from here, then I am willing to take any form of punishment you offer."

Rainbow seemed taken aback by your statement, but then quickly went back to her agitated state. She looked up at Twilight then back at you, squinting her eyes. She stared at you for a few moments, as if to decide what to do with you then said, " Yeah, I understand why you want to get away from here. Just get up and follow me, and we better hurry before you know who decides to come down here and get you herself."

Your eyes widen with that realization. "Yeah let's get out of here! Please, lead the way," you said as you picked yourself off the ground and gestured her to take the lead. Rainbow nodded and took off it the direction towards town which you quickly followed. As you ran, you could hear fading yells that said that you would have to answer their questions eventually.

'Not on your life Princess,' you thought as you strained to keep up with Rainbow.

"Umm. Rainbow, why are we here?" You asked as you stared at the candy coated building in front of you. You tried to think of any possible reason why coming to Sugarcube Corner would be a punishment, but you couldn't come up with anything.

"Oh, you'll see," Rainbow replied as she slowly opened the door. You didn't know why, but the way she said that sent chills down your spine. Perhaps it was the small smirk she had. You followed her to the door and peered inside.

It would have been completely dark if not for the single lit candle in the center of the lone table in the middle of the room.

"Hey, Rainbow? What's going on here? Why is it so da-AHHK!" You were cut off as you felt hooves pushing you forward and the sound of the door slamming. You started to pick yourself off the ground, but stopped. You got the feeling that someone or something was watching you.

You looked up to see the smiling face of Pinkie Pie mere inches from your own. After nearly jumping out of your skin and calming your heart-rate back down to a possible speed you noticed something was different about her. Her mane was a lot less poofy than you remembered. It was very flat.

'What the hell did I do?!' You asked yourself as you watched Pinkie slowly advance on you, her smile growing creeper with every step. You saw that she seemed to be balancing something on her head. It looked like a cupcake.

"Pinkie please just let me-UMM" You tried to plead, only to have yet another cupcake shoved into your mouth. You tried with all of your strength to combat the ever coming barrage of iced pastries, but there was not much you could do when you have your hands tied behind your back, and Pinkie took extra special care to keep your hands from touching. So you were not using your new found abilities to get out of this.

You swallowed down the remnants of the cake as she said "Now, now, Red. Don't talk, you might choke, silly. So, how did that one taste?" She replied with her usual smile. the look she had sported not five minutes had almost completely disappeared. You started looking around the now lit room for some means of escape as Pinkie prepared another cupcake. Try as you might, you couldn't find an escape route in the area.

'Oh come on! There has to be a way outta here! I just have to think... You searched the deepest, darkest places of your brain, but nothing came to you. You started racking your brain for something when you saw her approach with the sixth cupcake so far. Each one being more extravagant and sugary then the last.

"Pinkie, why are you doing this!?" You screamed at the bouncing pink mare. Your irritated expression must have flown right past her, because she kept her smiling face and bouncing stride as she moved closer to you. "Pinkie? Come on Pinkie this isn't funny anymore," you said desperately only to receive a blank stare.

"You said you didn't like my cupcakes," she said in reply to your earlier question. This only confused you more.

"What do you mean? I never said that," you replied. 'Who wouldn't like Pinkie's cupcakes?

"Yes you did. It was last night, after we got you back from Big Mac and his buddies," Pinkie answered, her expression turning from extremely happy to slightly worried.

You tried to remember what she was talking about, but the last thing you remembered was leaving with Big Mac. Nothing after, so you decided to ask Pinkie what happened. "Pinkie? Do you think you could tell me what happened?"

She stared at you for several uncomfortable seconds before asking, "You really don't remember do you?".

"Not really, no."

"Oh, okay then! Twilight discovered you were gone and figured Big Mac had taken you out for drinks without anypony else noticing when he came to pick up Applejack. Not knowing if you could get lost or something worse, she woke up the rest of the girls and Discord and started looking for you," she explained. She paused for a second so you could get all of that. After going over it in your head, you nodded for her to continue.

"Twilight said that we were starting a search party and I was like 'Yay!', but then Twilight told me it wasn't an actual party which confused me. I mean, why call it a party if it isn't a party? But anyways, we searched up and down Ponyville and we found you in 'The Mannered Mare' and you got the whole bar singing a very funny song. Twilight saw Big Mac in the corner of the bar and went to go ask him what was happening. He told us that he found you still awake after we had all fallen asleep and invited you to go out drinking with him and his friends. Just like Twilight thought! *gasp* When we finally got over to you, we found you dancing with Cloudchaser. You looked like you were having so much fun that I didn't want to interrupt you, but Twilight said we needed to gather everypony and get some rest."

'Wow. How does she talk for so long?' You wondered. You thought about what she said, and small flashes would appear. You could see yourself dancing with Cloudchaser and singing, but you don't quite remember what song it was.

"So Pinkie, you told me about what happened last night which I am very grateful for, but why did I say I wouldn't eat your cupcakes?"  You asked, still curious about it.

"Oh right, I forgot! Well, after we all got back to the Twilight's library I thought it would be a good idea to celebrate, so I got my super-duper special strawberry filled, rainbow frosted cupcakes! But when I offered you one you just sat there and stared at it. When I asked what was wrong, you gave me meanest stare ever and said 'I refuse to eat this monstrosity' and then you ran back outside." She replied through a few sniffles.

What? Why would I say that? Wait... Rainbow frosted... I'm a god damned idiot! You thought as you stared at the sobbing Pinkie Pie, her mane flat once again.

"Pinkie?" You offered. She looked up with curious, teary eyes. "Listen, I'm sorry I said that about your cupcake, and believe me when I say that I would love to eat more of them, but where I come from rainbow frosted cupcakes have a very dark meaning behind them. That is why I freaked out last night, but even then I was out of line. Can you forgive me?" You asked.

"Are you really sorry?" She asked, her eyes filling with a little bit of hope.

"I am Pinkie," you said with a small smile.

"Then of course I forgive you, silly!" She yelled as she tackled you to the ground.

'Damn. That was easy. You thought as you lay there as in the pony's embrace, still tied to the chair.

"Hey Pinkie? Do you think you could untie me know? My arms are starting to cramp."

"Oh, sorry. Let me get that real quick," Pinkie replied through a giggle.

"Okay bye!" You called back into the bakery.

"Bye! Come again soon!" Pinkie called back as you shut the door behind you.

You started walking in a random direction as you wondered what you were going to do for the rest of the day. You haven't really needed to think about it since everything that has happened to you since coming to Equestria has been out of your control. This is the first time you have had time to yourself.

As you walked, you let your mind wonder. You started about the events that had happened at Sugarcube Corner. 'Wait a second. Rainbow led me to Sugarcube Corner with the knowledge about what was going to happen, then Pinkie tied me to a undersized chair and force fed me an assortment of cupcakes, and I was the one who wound up apologizing for something I'm not even sure happened.' You realized. You looked down at the basket in your hand and thought, 'Oh well at least I got some cupcakes out the whole ordeal.'.

"Remind me never to piss them off... Again..." You said to yourself. You continued to walk in the random direction you choose with no real goal in mind, having a good time as you plotted your revenge against Rainbow when you heard the two voices that no brony would want to hear.

"What's wrong, Blank Flank?" The two high pitched voices said in unison. You looked down the street directly to your right and found the origin of the voices. They belonged to a small pink filly with a purple and white mane with a tiara adorning her head; a similar one on her flank. Next to her was her ever present companion. She had a gray coat, a silver mane and a spoon as her cuitemark. Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara. You were tempted to keep on walking, but then you noticed who they were picking on.

She was a small orange pegasus filly with a dark purple mane and no cutiemark. It was Scootaloo, the pony you often spoke about when a conversation turned into a "Who is best pony?" argument. From the looks of it, they had been picking on

Silver Spoon's and Diamond Tiara's backs were to you and Scootaloo hadn't seen you yet, so you hid behind the corner of the closest building to you and thought, 'Now how can I leave those two little fillies with their tails between their legs?. You stood there for a few moments as you thought when it finally came to you.

'Oh Red, you are an evil genius! You thought.

You set down your cupcakes, brought both of your palms together and focused on the image in your head. A green glow started emitting from your hands. The glow slowly spread across your body and down your legs. Your hoodie started to turn gray as it started to tear away leaving only your hood. Your pants started to tear away also as their blue turned black. Your shirt had disappeared, leaving only your now muscle bound chest. A large chained metal clamp formed around your neck; the chain broken about eight inches down.

You looked down at yourself with a smile creeping across your face. You pulled your now gray and tattered hood over your head. A shadow come over your face, leaving nothing visible but your sharp toothed smile and a pair of glowing orange eyes.

You turned around the corner and started slowly walking down the street. You had made it about ten feet away from the three fillies when you noticed something that made you come up short. Scootaloo had her head pointing down and a single tear trailing down her muzzle.

Your anger flared. You knew how Scootaloo was. She was strong. She would never cry to what they would say. What they said must have been truly awful. Before you could stop yourself, you took of running and jumped over the fillies. You landed behind Scootaloo and glared at the offending fillies. All three fillies stared up at you, looks of pure terror adorned their faces.  You crouched down close to Scootaloo focused on Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara. "I'm going to give you two three seconds to get out of here before I do it myself," you said in a voice that would make Hades himself quiver in fear.

Without a second thought, the two fillies took off in the opposite direction. You looked down at the filly underneath you, who seems even more scared than the ones who just took off. You stood up and backed away from her to give her some space, the whole time she never broke eye contact with you.

"W-why did you do that?" Asked Scootaloo with a scared whimper in her voice.

"I really don't like bullies," you replied simply with traces of venom in your voice. "Especially when they make somebody cry."

"Cry?! I wasn't crying! I just had something in my eye!" She exclaimed, only to receive a look from you, which made her back up a little. Deciding that you scared the poor filly enough, you put your palms back together and transformed back into your usual self.

After the transformation was completed you looked down at Scootaloo and asked, "So, you okay?".

"Yeah, I'm good. Thanks I guess," she said as she looked off it the distance. You followed her gaze and saw two small figures fading over the horizon. "What did you do to them?" She asked.

You thought about it for a second and said "Let's just say I left them a little disturbed.". You laughed at your joke while Scootaloo gave you a funny look.

"I don't know whether to be scared of you or think you're weird,"  she said with a look of concern.

"It would probably be safer to do both," you replied with a chuckle. You paused and looked at the sky, you saw the sun starting to dip down.

"It's getting pretty late. You should probably be getting home soon. Your parents must be worried," you suggested to the filly.

"Yeah... My parents... I gotta go," she replied in a soft voice before running off.

"It's been nice meeting you!" You called after her. You turned and started walking in the direction you had set your cupcakes. You picked up the basket and started walking back down the way you started a few minutes ago, before you found Scootaloo.

"Hmm... Let's see what else happens today," you said, knowing that it is never good idea to use those words.
