You were sitting in front on the large fireplace in your room on a purple cushion large enough to serve as a second bed, reading some of the letters your "Most faithful student" had sent you in the past. You had just finished reading one from Twilights friend Applejack, who in the letter said that she had learned nothing and she had been right about what to do with the situation.

'Well, she certainly fits her element well, but she could be a little more humble,” you thought with a light chuckle.

You had just finished the letter when a wisp of magic came floating through the open balcony doors. The wisp of magic soon made its way over and stopped just above your head. You looked up at it as it solidified into a scroll. It fell and smacked you right in the face, landing on the floor.

You looked over at the scroll with a look of surprise. 'Nopony sends letters at this hour. I wonder who it could be, you pondered. You levitated the scroll over to you and examined it. It was held together by a light purple ribbon and it bore Princess Twilight's new royal emblem.

You unraveled the scroll and it read:

Dear Princess Celestia,

I am fairly tired and it is very late, so I will try to keep this short and to the point.

Yesterday a pony named Trixie came to Ponyville to apologize for the troubles she had caused

the townsponies in the past. When she stood in front of the crowd in front of townhall, Rainbow Dash yelled at her and she was pelted with rotten fruit.

Needless to say, she ran off.

I gathered the girls and followed her to try and comfort her, but when we found her, we saw her arguing with a strange, bipedal, furless creature in the Everfree forest. I admit that we may have jumped to conclusions by attacking the creature. I blasted it with my magic, but the blast seemed to roll off of him as if he were immune. It seemed really surprised that we attacked it but it still ran. We chased it, mostly because I wanted to know why it was arguing with Trixie.

We chased it until we reached a cliff, but it seemed to disappear, so we gave up the search for then. We started to go home, but Rainbow Dash refused to leave until she found Trixie. She and Applejack argued until Rainbow Dash flew off further into the forest. The rest of us chased her to the best of our ability, but Fluttershy and I are simply not fast enough fliers and everypony else couldn't see her through the thick canopy of the forest.

The next day, I had gathered my friends at the library, except for Rainbow Dash, and went to search for the two missing ponies. We were about to leave when Lyra Heartstrings, and a red pony who was a friend of hers, who had two large lumps on his head, knocked on the door. I allowed them in and Lyra's Friend introduced himself as "Red Hearts" and explained that he was the creature from the night before and he had found Trixie crying in the forest and went to comfort her. He had her do an emotional exercise where he would insult her and she would ignore it.

They did this for several minutes before he said something that really hurt her and she yelled at him for it. We had just so happened to show up then, so the scene looked a lot worse than it really was.

We set out to the forest to find Trixie and Rainbow Dash.

After about fifty minutes of searching, Red came out with a sleeping Trixie on his back, but not a sight of Rainbow Dash. We started to head back to Ponyville when Red Hearts changed back to his original form which he called his "Human body". I examined his strange body when Rainbow Dash found us, but she thought Red Hearts was some sort of monster because of the previous night.

He ran and she tackled him to the ground and attacked his back, but fell asleep in the middle of her assault. Red Hearts put her over his shoulder and did the same to Trixie and carried them all the way back to the library.

Red Hearts, Rainbow Dash and Trixie are all asleep downstairs right now and I should probably do the same so I am going to finish this up.

I just felt it was necessary to let you know this all happened.

Your still faithful student, Twilight Sparkle

P.S: I would like to bring Red Hearts up to Canterlot and introduce him to you, but only with your permission.

You levitated a piece of parchment, a quill and an ink pot over to yourself and began writing your response.

Dear Twilight,

I must say that your letter contained quite the interesting tale and I would be honored to meet this "Human" who went out of his way to try to comfort then find one of my little ponies. Please come as soon as you are able.

                                                           Princess Celestia

You sent away the letter with a flash of your horn. This was really piquing your interest, especially the one known as Red Hearts. You got up and walked to your chamber door. You opened the door and asked one of the two guards to go get Princess Luna.

"Excuse me sir, but do you think you could go fetch my sister for me?" You asked with a warm smile.

"At once your highness!" Said the guard as he rushed off.

You receded back into your chambers and sat upon your bed examining the letter again. After several minutes, you hear you doors open and you look up to see Luna looking at you with a curious expression written upon her face.

"You wanted to see me Celestia?" She asked.

"Yes I did Luna," you answered as you levitated the letter over to her. "I would like you to read this and tell me what you think."

"Okay..." She replied slowly, grabbing the letter out of her magic with her own.

You watched as her eyes scanned over the parchment and a smile spread across her face. When she finally looked up from the letter you asked. "Why are you smiling like that?"

"Oh it's nothing. I'm just glad to know he is making friends," she said, her smile growing a little.

"You say that as if you know him," you said.

"Well, I would like to think I do. Seeing as how I'm the one who brought him here," she replied with a smug look.

You were dumbfounded. "How did you accomplish this? It takes an incredible amount of magical power than even I do not have to bring a human to Equestria. I must know how you accomplished this!" You exclaimed with your excitement growing.

"Well if I am to be honest, it wasn't my power alone," she answered.

"What do you mean?" You asked.

"Red Hearts also contributed to the pool of magic that was required to bring him here," she replied.

"But the human world is devoid of any magical presence," you stated.

"That is not true sister. Do you not remember Starswirl the bearded? The human world does in fact contain magic, all that matters is if one can access it and manipulate it," she explained.

"But their magic is so much different than ours. Even Starswirl had a hard time controlling it," you replied.

"Even he said that each human has a different type of magic about them, dear sister, besides, his type of magic is very adaptable, one might say," she retorted.

"Care to explain Luna?" You asked.

"All will be revealed shortly," she said.

You sat there staring at her smirking face when something hit you. "Hey I'm supposed to be the cryptic one!" You yelled, causing your sister to start rolling on the floor in a fit of giggles.

After she calmed down she asked, "So when are you gonna let him come up here?”.

"I told Twilight to bring him up here as soon as possible, so he should be here around midday tomorrow," you answered.

"Oh good, that gives us plenty of time," she said with a very scary looking smile.

"What do you mean sister?" You asked.

"Well the human world has made a thing called a television. Televisions play recordings to inform or entertain their viewers and those are called T.V shows. And they somehow made a T.V show about Twilight and her adventures in Ponyville," she explained.

"Yes I know this, carry on," you said.

"Well if you know about the show, then surely you know about the bronies, correct?" She asked.

"Yes."

"Okay. So it just so happens that Red Hearts is one, so I decided we should play a little prank on him when he gets here, and I know how much you like pranks," she explained as she brought her to front hooves together and her evil smile grew bigger.

A smile spread across your lips and you said, "What do you have in mind?"

"Aww, isn't that cute?" Twilight asked.

"Ah' think yer' right Twi, it is pretty darn adorable," said Applejack in a giggly voice.

"I think it's quite a sweet little scene," Rarity agreed.

"Meh. Who cares about that kind of stuff anyways?" Asked Rainbow Dash.

"Oh come now, are you telling me that you don't find this endearing?" Asked Rarity in a not-so surprised voice.

"NO! . . . I mean, no I don't. It just seems- I don't know. Weird I guess," Rainbow Dash replied.

"Rainbow Dash, is there something you're not telling us? Asked Twilight.

"W- what!? No there isn't!" Replied Rainbow Dash hesitantly. "Don't you guys have a schedule to keep?"

"Oh yeah! I should probably wake them up." Answered Twilight.

"Hey Red. It's time to get up," said Twilight, gently shaking your shoulder.

"Mmmmph."

"Come on Red, you need to get up," Twilight asserted.

"Rmm. . .ucking campers. . . "

"Campers? Who is campin'?" Asked Applejack.

"Red It Is Time To Get Up!" Twilight shouted, raising her voice. "Hrmm. . . Huh? What's goin' on?" You asked, finally waking up.

"What's going on is I'm trying to get you up so you can get ready to meet Princess Celestia. So why don't you and your mare-friend get up so we can go," Twilight replied.

"The Princess? I'll need to shower first, but I have no- wait, mare-friend?" You questioned. Everypony replies by pointing at you and giggling. You looked down to see a very snuggled up looking Trixie laying half-way on your stomach. "Oh." Was all you could say as a very visible blush went across your face.

"Um, Trixie?" You said trying to wake her up. She responds by snuggling in a little more. A round of giggles were produced by everypony else.

"Trixie!" You exclaimed with your voice slightly raised, only to receive the same result. 'That's it. You thought. You stuck two fingers in our mouth and received curious stares from the other ponies in the room. You blew into your fingers and a extremely loud whistle that made the ponies cover their ears.

Trixie didn't even stir.

"You are the heaviest sleeper I have ever met," you said in an annoyed tone.

"Umm. . . What?" She asked as she opened her eyes. 'Really?' You asked yourself.

"I'm gonna need you to get up so I can go meet Princess Celestia," you said with a slightly forced smile.

She looked up at you with a blank stare, then she looked down at where she was laying and moved as far away from you so fast that even Rainbow Dash was impressed.

"Sorry, I- I was just-" Trixie started to say, but you raised a hand to silence her. "Listen. I don't know why you were asleep on me, nor do I really mind. But who can blame you, I am pretty damn sexy," you said, cocking an eyebrow and putting on you cheesiest smile, causing Trixie to blush profusely, and Applejack and Rarity to laugh a little.

"Well if you're done flirting, we need to get you ready. We have a schedule to keep," Twilight interjected, obviously missing the joke behind your sentence.

"Okay jeez, but I do have a question. How do you propose I get ready if all I have is the clothes on my back, and one missing slipper?" You asked.

"Well if it's clothes you're worried about then I can take care of that darling, but I will need your measurements," Rarity offered.

"Are you sure? I don't have any money to pay you back," you replied.

"Oh, payment won't be necessary. Just think of it as my way of saying sorry for running you off a cliff," she said with a laugh.

"Oh, okay," you said. 'At least she didn't say "It's a challenge" or "I am the element of generosity after all" like in those fanfictions. You sighed inwardly.

"Speaking of apologies. Rainbow, is there anything you would like to say?" Twilight asked while nudging Rainbow Dash.

She took a few tentative steps closer and looked away, and you just sat there staring at her wondering how you didn't notice her presence until now. She looked back at you with an ashamed expression and said, "I'm sorry. . . "

"Excuse me?"

"I said I'm sorry."

"One more time." You said leaning in closer.

"I SAID I’M SORRY!"

"Oh okay. You're forgiven," you said as you tried to rub the ringing out of your ears.

"Right . . . We'd better get going if you want those clothes ready by the time you meet Celestia," said Rarity.

"Okay, lets go. These sweat pants are comfy, but are a bit warm for outside wear."

You and Rarity had left the library and headed through town to the Carousel Boutique. You made it about half way there in complete silence before Rarity asked you this, "So Red, All I know about you is what has happened to you in the past few days, so would it be to much to ask more about you?"

"Not a problem Rarity. There isn't much to know but I'll try to answer any questions you have about me to the best of my ability," you said with a smile.

"That's great!" She said excitedly. "I guess the first thing I would like to know is what life was back where you came from."

"Do you mean me, or life in general?" You asked.

"You," she answered.

"Alright. My life was kinda boring though. I didn't really do much back at home and mess around the internet or play video games. I never really had many friends, if any for that matter. I never had much of a family either. My dad was always a violent drunk, so I tried to stay away from him as much as possible. I also never went to any family gatherings, because dad always said they were a waste of time. I read a lot of comic books too. If not for the righteous heroes and the obviously evil villains, then I probably would be a very nasty jerk, what I mean by that is, I learned my morals from the comics and not any negative sources. Though some would argue that comic books are a negative source. My life has been pretty bland, and not much to look at," you explained. "Ya' got anymore questions for me?" You asked.

"You said you didn't have any friends, but that can't be right. You seem so nice and charming, surely you had at least one friend right?" She questioned.

You sighed at this."Yes. I did have a friend once, a great friend that I talked to every hour of every day. We could talk about anything from T.V shows to Music. Oh we would talk about music all of the time. We played together as well, but it would always sound weird. You see, she played the cello, and I would play the electric guitar, but we liked our sound even if others didn't," you told her.

"That is, until one day she just up and vanished," you said through a small sniffle. You had stopped in the middle of the street in front of the boutique. There weren't many other ponies around, but the ones who were started staring a little more intently than before. "I didn't know what to do. Everyday I missed her. My best friend just gone," you told her, tears now starting to cascade down your face. "And the worst part is that nobody seemed to remember her. It was like she never existed. I was the only one with any memory of her and it hurt me everytime someone said she was never there," you were on your knees at this point, letting your tears fall to the ground. You felt Rarity put her front legs around your neck and pull you into a hug. She nuzzled your cheek while whispering soothing words into your ear that you could barely make out over your sobs. You sat there in her embrace for a few minutes before saying, "Thanks Rarity. I needed that." and getting to your feet to dusting yourself off.

"Of course dear, now come along. We need to get started on your new clothes!" She exclaimed brightening up your mood.

"Okay, but can I make one request?" You asked.

"Go ahead darling," she replied.

"Try to keep the sparkles to a minimum," you said through a smile.

"If I must," she said with a playful pout.

* * * * * * * *

You had spent the last few hours over at Rarity's boutique and through the large amount of standing around and being pricked with needles, enough so that the phrase "Sorry darling" will be permanently etched into your head, but you were rewarded with three new sets of clothing. All brightly colored, much to your disdain.

"Thank you so much Rarity. This means a lot to me," you said as you headed to the door.

"Anytime darling, but may I ask one thing?" She asked. You nodded and she asked, "What was her name?"

"Tavi. Her name was Tavi," you answered.

I think I'm getting faster at writing, because normally it would take me a few days to get this much, but this only took me only eight hours with interruptions.
