The Guardian of Harmony

"Come on, I can do it, I can do it, I can... DRATS!" My face fell onto the desk covered in sweat and broken glass. I better clean up before I get hurt. I knew where the dustpan and brush are, so I guess I can try to use magic... again. I concentrated again where the two items are. My floppy ears began to have a brown aura around it, indicating that my magic is working. I concentrated on bringing the items to me, and I looked to see the items coming in. I was cheering in the inside for getting it to work, which may have caused me to break my concentration and made me fail. I slumped back into my chair with my neck bent over. I need some water, and I'm not going to use magic again. I got up, brushed up the glass, and went to the kitchen and had a glass of ice cold water.

"Hey Tas-" I my eyes shot at the door and my ears flashed and a hole on the door appeared with my friend right in front of it. "Whoa, you could've just told me you don't want me here."

"Sorry about that, Flappy. Say, may I ask why you're here?" I asked.

"I just came to tell you that I read your mail-"

"You read my mail?!" I interrupted.

"Yes, and you were accepted to the video game tournament." Flappy continued. My jaw dropped. All I could think was "YES YES YES YES..."

"YEEEES!" I screamed. I threw my arms up into the air, and my ears began to glow. Wait, it's supposed to have an aura around it.
