The Guardian of Harmony

I woke up in a place that I never been to. My vision was blurred from the vase that dropped on my head. I attempted to get up from my back but my arm won’t bend backwards. Hey, hold on for one-

“Wat.” I said. “What the…what?” My arms aren’t the same. Instead of a skinny limb, I have a thick leg. I rolled over and pushed myself up. Standing on both legs wasn’t easy as before, as I kept on falling down constantly. Maybe I should- yeah, that works. I stood on all four of my legs. I tried to walk but I keep on just moving my hind legs, causing me to lose my balance and fall again. After several attempts, I finally got onto my legs and walked forward. I tripped a few times but I made it all the way to the door. When I opened it, boy, I was scared half to death three times in one go.

“Hello, Tas.” The tall, white pony or horse greeted. Her fur, wings, and horn were pure white. She had a golden crown and a colorful wavy mane. My jaw dropped from the unexpectedness. The first thing people would ask would be “how did you know my name?” What I asked was “Where am I?” The pony or horse smiled. “I’ll explain everything later. Right now, your study of magic begins with this pony.” A purple pony with wings and a horn walked in next to the other pony, which I can confirm that is a pony.

“Hi, my name is Twilight Sparkle and I am here to- hello?” My jaw was still hanging. “Uh, heh heh, hello?” I blinked a few times and shook my head.

“Hi, my name is Tas. Apparently; I’m supposed to be your student, even though I haven’t really signed up for this.” I introduced myself. Lifting one hand- I mean hoof off the ground, I pointed towards her, waiting for a hand- ugh, hoofshake. Twilight smiled and we shook.

“While you two get a long,” the white pony started, “Twilight, why don’t you give him a tour of Ponyville?”

“Sure thing Princess Celestia.” Twilight replied. “Come on, I have a lot to show you in Ponyville.”

“And that’s all the exciting locations in Ponyville are at!” Twilight finished.

“That was. All. Of. The-“ I wheezed as I toppled over to my left. I can’t wait until I learn how to teleport. Running 3 miles is pretty hard to do in less than one second, especially if you have bad balance. Twilight must have forgotten about my lack of training. "Plus, who- sigh, was that pink- pant, were you talking to?"

"That was my friend, Pinkie Pie. Come on in, I have to show you something." Twilight answered. I rolled over onto my hooves and stood up straight. Twilight Sparkle opened the door, and confetti exploded from the door.

"Ptoo! Huh?" My eyes widened as a banner was hanging from the ceiling saying "WELCOME TO PONYVILLE!" My legs began to shake a little and all of my energy was restored. I hopped up and bolted inside and right to the cake. My body can't contain all of this excitement I'm getting.

"Hi there!" My ears twitched and I turned around and became face to face with a pink pony. Startled, I walked back a little and bumped into the table. It shook, but nothing fell. "Welcome to Ponyville! I'm Pinkie Pie and I like to throw parties! I like to throw parties for everypony in Ponyville, including birthday parties. They don't even have to ask! How you might ask, I remember everypony's birthday and they get a huge surprise at home! Also..." The pony continued to talk and I could barely catch up with her. I began to drool a little when Pinkie Pie started waving her hoof at me.

"Hello?" I blinked and shook my head.

"Oh, it was nice meeting you." I said, trying to buffer what Pinkie just said.

"You too!" She grinned and bounced away. I turned around and looked at the cake, knife, and plate. Hmm, how am I going to do this? I couldn't use any hands since I don't have any. I bit on the handlebar of the knife and carefully cut a slice of the cake. I slid the blade underneath the cake and steadily brought it to my plate. I dropped the knife on the table and began to eat delightfully.

"Ugh," I moaned as I slowly opened my eyes. Wow, that sugar crush got me, did it? As I was bearing the headache I had, I went on my hooves and looked around. Huh, everything is cleaned up, and I'm on a balcony. I looked over the railing and saw the nightlife of Ponyville. The moon shown ever so brightly as it reflected off the glass behind me. I saw a dark figure coming from the moon. My head tilted in confusion as it came closer.
