Equestrian Horizon: The Elements of Chaos

Now the Elements of Harmony and the Elements of Chaos were great friends. Even before these random six heroes discovered their destiny they got to know the six and develop a good bond with them. It wasn’t instant but it was prosperous. It all started with Chandler now at the edge of Ponyville on his way to Sweet Apple Acres. He decided to stop and take a look at the scenery, but just as he turned back to face the colorful city that is Ponyville, he heard a slight call from out from behind him.

“Chandler!” It was Hunter and Michael both darting towards him.

Chandler stood straight up and extended his arms in hopes of a bro hug. However instead of receiving a warm greeting he was sucker punched right across the face by Hunter.

“Ow!” Chandler cried “What the Fuck man?”

“How could you do this to us man!?” Michael raged, “ You just went ahead and pushed the button. You just had to!”

“Technically it was a touch screen,” Chandler replied

“It doesn’t matter,” Hunter said, “Michael, Chandler, we’re not going to get anywhere unless we get to finding the TURDIS,”

A familiar voice calls out from the alley nearby, “Good luck with that,” It was Seth now stepping out into the sunlight, “I overheard that the guards already found it and transported it back to Canterlot.”

“Canter-what?” Michael said

“It’s the royal city in this world.” said Seth “This “Princess Celestia” has also sent out a pretty much world wide search for us. She believes we’re some kind of legendary group known as…. What was it again?”

“The Elements of Chaos,” Taylor popped from behind, “I’ve been hearing that we’re supposed to be these legendary wielders of power. We’re somehow supposed to bring about the fall of this land. Equestria.”

“Great,” Michael said, “ So we have an entire country on our ass, a destiny supposed to fulfill and we have no means of getting back to our world. Is there anything else?”
“Uh guys,” Hunter said, “Where’s Brandon?”

At that moment a voice called out from afar. “Guys!” It was Brandon now charging towards the group.

An out of breath Brandon now attempting to catch his breath began to speak rapidly, “So guys I was heading to the town and I heard about something called the Elements of Chaos and a destiny something about a crash a princess and look, I have hooves.” Brandon instantly began clacking his hooves together in amusement.

“Anyways,” Seth continued, “I think we should….”

Brandon gasped, “ You have a butt tattoo too? He I said too too.”

Everyone looked and noticed their cutie mark on their hind quarters. All of them having to do something with their passion. Taylor had a book and quill, Hunter had a distorted quarter note, Chandler had a hand grenade, Michael had an mp3 player, Seth had a USB symbol, and of course Brandon who was fully aware of his at first had a gaming controller.

“Yeah I heard about these,” said Taylor, “It had something to do with our special talent or passion in life.”

“Well what do you know,” Said Chandler, “We learn more about ourselves and each other even more in this worlds.”

The whole group awkwardly took a step back.

Hunter went on, “So, What’s the plan?”

“Well,” Seth answered, “I was going to suggest that we find a place to chill til’ everything dies down. Then we could find the TURDIS eventually and get back to our world.”

“Alright,” Said Brandon, “Sounds good. So where do you suggest we go for now?”

“Well I was heading to some place to Sweet Apple Acres to get some alcoholic cider.” Chandler said

“Perfect come on let’s get moving,” Brandon said deciding to rush things along.

The group stumbled up to a barn. Red with apple trees growing around the entire surrounding area. The group walked on up to a young orange mare in a nice little western hat. Brandon eyes were now popping straight out of his skull.

Hunter stepped up “Hello mam, we…..
“Hello the name is Brandon I like long walks through the parks, video games, watching the sunsets and reading poetry. And you are.” Brandon said as he shoved Hunter out of the way.

It was always in Brandon’s nature to act stupid infront of girls.

The mare chuckled, “Hey, I’m Applejack. You fellas looking for something.”

“Yeah do you by chance have any cider?” asked Chandler

“Yeah, why don’t you go inside the barn. One of my friends can help you out in there.”

“Ttttthhhhhank you.” Chandler said impatiently

The rest of the group went into the barn while Brandon stayed back to continue talking with Applejack.

The group strutted into the barn to be greeted by five other mares. A cyan Pegasus with rainbow colored mane, a white unicorn with flowing purple mane, an ecstatic pink earth pony, a shy yellow Pegasus with pink mane, and a purple unicorn with purple mane and a single pink stripe going down it.

The pink one was first to greet, “Hey. How’s it going? The name’s Pinkie Pie.”

“Uh” responded Michael “Okay…. Applejack said…..”

“Wait a minute. I haven’t seen you guys around here. And I know just about everypony around these parts.” Pinkie then paused for a moment, “You guys aren’t from around here aren’t you?” Pinkie approached them with suspicion.

As the group backed up in discomfort the cyan Pegasus hovered in, “Uh, Pinkie Pie, Let’s not make them uncomfortable.” She then turned to them, “Hey the name’s Rainbow Dash. You’ve probably already heard of me though.”

“Nope” Taylor responded,

“the sonic rainboom,” She said

“Nope”

“winner of the best young flyers competition,”

“Nope”

“The best flyer in Equestria,”

“Nope, no, and no”

Dash finally gave up and backed out. Taylor noticed the white unicorn and approached her.

“Hello there,” He said, “The name’s Taylor. I’m a writer. By profession.”

The unicorn replied, “Hello, I’m Rarity. I’m a designer. *giggles* By profession.”

Michael as well got side tracked and wondered towards the yellow Pegasus.

“What up? I’m Michael.” He said

The Pegasus grinned, “Hi, I’m Fluttershy.”

The two eventually got lost in their conversation.

The purple unicorn just grinned, “Hi, I’m Twilight Sparkle, I apologize for my friends.”

“Don’t” Said Chandler, “We’re built upon crazy antics.”

Hunter remembered, “Oh I forgot, I’m Hunter, this is Chandler those two are Michael and Taylor, this is Seth and the other one outside with Applejack is Brandon.”

Everyone eventually just started hanging around for a while and completely lost track of what they were doing. Even Brandon and Applejack walked in and hopped in on the conversations. It didn’t take long for everyone to become good friends.

“Hey guys,” Hunter said, “We should all hang out tomorrow.”

“Yeah,” said Twilight, “Sounds like a great idea.”

Thus the night went on with the group having fun and loosing all track of time. The night dimmed down and everyone had to go home. One problem though the guys had no place to stay.

“Hey AJ,” said Taylor, “Is it cool if we can spend the night in the barn for tonight?”

“ ‘course,” responded Applejack, “feel free to stay here for the night. But tomorrow we’re finding you guys a place to stay in.”

“Yeah,” Brandon said, “We’re hoping on landing on our hooves tomorrow anyways.”

Applejack giggled, “Alright sugarcube. Well goodnight y’all. See you in the morning.”

The group waited for her to leave to finally start talking.
“Guys,” Brandon started, “I don’t think I ever wanna leave.”

“I know right,” Taylor added, “This world is way to awesome.”

Seth however added his disagreement, “Guys this isn’t our world. We’re human they’re ponies.”

Hunter was though on Brandon and Taylor’s side, “In all reality dude we’re ponies now too. Who’s to say we can’t start a new life here.”

“They don’t know where we come from. We’re here because of an accident.” Seth said

“But who’s to say it isn’t fate. What about the prophecy?” said Brandon

“Brandon don’t tell me you believe in that shit.” Said Seth

Michael entered the conversation, “Seth we traveled to a world filled with ponies. I can believe in almost anything now.”

“Yeah,” Said Hunter, “Who’s to say that we aren’t the Elements of Chaos?”

“But that’s the thing,” said Seth, “We don’t even know what that means. The prophecy says that we’re destined to be the downfall of Equestria.”

“Well I guess we’re going to have to go against our destiny.” Brandon said

“And how do you plan on doing that?” Said Seth

“I don’t know,” Brandon looked at everyone, “All we can do right now is get some sleep.”

Everyone else agreed. They would look for more answers tomorrow. But for now all they could do is wait. For tomorrow, would be the day that defines their existence.
