Equestrian Horizon: The Elements of Chaos

The six woke up almost at the exact same time. It seemed like as if everything in the world was perfectly in place for them. The guys woke up and walked up to Applejack’s house to find Pinkie Pie outside hauling in a wagon with rotting apples. She seemed different this time though. Her hair was straight in a very depressed kind of style. That couldn’t have been the same Pinkie Pie last night. Things were getting weird though.

“Hey Pinkie,” Chandler said, “What are you doing here?”

“What do you mean?” She said, “I live here.”

Everyone was puzzled. This was weird for everypony.

“No, Applejack lives here.” Said Michael

Out of nowhere the guys heard a “psst”. They turned to see a yellow hoof signaling them to come inside the house. They decided to head off in that direction. They figured that at least they could get some answers as to what was going on. They went in. Inside was a little filly, a big red stallion, and an old pony. They knew this must have been Applejack’s family.

“You guys must be AJ’s friends.” Said the little filly “I’m Applebloom. This is Big Macintosh and Granny Smith.”

“Hey nice to meet you,” Said Taylor

“Can somepony please explain what the fuck is going on?” Said Brandon

“I don’t know,” said Applebloom, “ We just woke up to see Pinkie out here claiming she lives here and that AppleJack works at a boutique. Ain’t that right Big Macintosh?”

“Yup” Big Mac replied

“Well is there anything we could do to help?” Asked Michael

“I don’t think so. Only Twilight might know what’s going on but…..”

Hunter interrupted, “Wait guys I just had an idea, Maybe Twilight will know what’s going on?”

“Dude that’s the best idea ever.” The two high hoofed and bolted out the door. The rest of the group followed.

The six now set out on a Journey to find Twilight unaware of her location but something seemed strange. A voice kept resonating in the back of their heads. The voiceonly kept repeating the same thing over and over again. “The meadow”. No one wanted to speak of it and continued in their attempts in finding Twilight. The voices though kept getting louder until Seth finally said something.

“Guys,” He said, “I think we should go to the meadow.”

Everyone looked at each other and agreed. They turned their course directly towards the meadow.

“You heard the voice to huh?” Said Brandon
“We all did,” Taylor said

The group arrived at the meadow but only to find nothing. All that was there were the flowers, a tree or two and a few hummingbirds. But something was strange the ground felt hot. As if they were standing on fire. The temperature just kept getting hotter. The ground started to violently shake.

“Okay which one of you spiked the cider last night?” Said Michael

A large crack expanded across the ground. It grew bigger and bigger and created what appeared to be a giant sinkhole.

“Ha! This isn’t the cider dude!” said Brandon

A Large beast began to rise from the whole. It looked as if it was made of molten lava and magma. It had large ram like horns growing out of its head. It had long glowing claws. It was obvious this guy wanted blood. It gave off a loud roar that vibrated the ground. As it roared, several demonic beasts were released from the whole and flooded the sky. The big power demon faced the six.

“Well….. We’re fucked,” Said Brandon

The big beast swiped its hand at the six and they all scattered in different directions. They knew they had to fight. Even though they’ve never really fought something like this before they knew they had to as if by instinct. The six started at first to just evade any of the beasts that would swoop down and try to hurt them.

“We’re gonna need some bak-up” Said Hunter

“What could the girls possibly be doing about now?” Said Seth

“It’s not like you wouldn’t notice this. That thing is almost as tall as the Empire State Building.”

But they eventually knew they had to change tactics. They followed a pattern. When a flock of those things would swoop down to get them, they would pick one off and eliminate it. But the things caught on and began to just swarm them. They got to the point where their options were limited. The beasts began to overwhelm them. It seemed like the end. But right then and there something powerful happened. Brandon began to feel strange. As the dark cloud of beasts enclosed on him he began feeling stronger more powerful. And as the beasts were ready to move in for the kill, Brandon uttered one of the most powerful words only he could use.

“Raz……Burst!”

A powerful surge of dark energy pulsated around him killing all the demons. They all repelled from him. His veins highlighted in black. The dark only made him stronger.

Seth began to trick the enemies. Getting them to fight each other as he sabotaged their attacks and redirected them to each other. He was starting conflicts among comrades.

Hunter jumped back and lifted his hooves up into the air to avoid one that swooped to close to the ground. He throws his hooves down and caused a massive shock wave that launched all the creatures into the air. It was as if the ground was a large sub woofer launching everything on it up and suspending it in mid air.

Taylor began to use powerful shields to deflect enemy attacks. It was amazing that he use his magic so effectively like this considering he had no experience with magic. He was able to eventually make the demons go against their own leader as the creatures began to lose faith in the one commanding them.

Michael could sarcastically taunt the enemies and feed off of their rage. He grew more powerful the angrier they became to the point where a powerful red energy pulsated within him. He used rage to fight the beasts.

Finally Chandler could use a his knowledge of destruction to create explosives out of anything. He could craft any type of bomb and throw it at the demons. He proved to be a destructive earth pony at that. He even got some help from Hunter and Taylor by using their unicorn magic.

The beasts began decreasing in numbers. They grew weaker. And eventually there were none left. They all stood now infront of the single power demon. They were all in shock of their brand new abilities. But at the same time, very excited.

“Dude,” said Michael, “This is so cool. Its like by instinct I knew I could do that.”

“Alright guys we’re not done yet,” Said Brandon, “We still got the big guy to deal with.”

The big beast looked down upon them. It was ready for the final fight. The monster reached down for them. Again they all scattered. All of a sudden they all began to glow. They all linked in mind and thought. They could hear each others minds. This moment would go down in history as the first link of the Elements of Chaos. The link caused a powerful beam to form and split the demon in all angles. The beast crumbled and fell back into the hole. The link instantly stopped and everything seemed as if nothing happened. The sky was clear and the meadow was okay.

“You,” Said Taylor, “You were inside my head! You were inside my fucking head!”

“Yes,” Brandon said, “And I can also be the first one to say that I do not want to go back there.”

“Hey guys,” Hunter interrupted, “We were all inside each others heads.”

Chandler came to realization, “Guys could this mean…..”

Everyone just looked at each other, in both shock and disbelief. But came to that realization as well.

Finally Brandon spoke, “Yeah…… We are definitely the Elements of Chaos.”

The group then worked their way back to town. They were all terribly exhausted. They saw the other six standing around infront of the library. Twilight who now had wings was the first to say “Hi”.

“So,” Chandler said, “How was YOU’RE day.”

“I don’t know,” Twilight said, “Notice anything different?”

The group tried hard see what was different but they were all too exhausted to tell.

“I know,” said Hunter

The six girls drew a small grin in anticipation.

“Pinkie’s hair is back to normal!” He said

“Dude that’s totally what I was going to say!” Said Chandler “Brohoof!”

The two clacked their hooves together.

The Twilight looked at them in amusement and giggled. “You ponies are just the….”

“Bronies.” Said Taylor

“What?” Said Twilight

“Call us Bronies.” Said Taylor

Twilight giggled again, “Okay. You Bronies are just the weirdest bunch I’ve met.”

“We get that a lot” said Brandon as he yawned, “Hey AJ. Is it cool if we sleep in the barn tonight. We got kinda busy today.”

“ ’Course sugarcube,” Applejack replied

The began to walk towards the farm. Everyone was exhausted from the entire day.

“So Bronies eh?” Said Michael

“It so tempting to say,” Said Chandler

The group had no idea what went down today. But they knew it had something to do with their supposed destiny. Tomorrow all the answers would become clear. And even if those answers didn’t become clear, they knew one thing. They were without a doubt, The Elements of Chaos.
