This Day Gone

"Discord, come with me." A white and suprisingly tall pony commanded.

"What for Celestia?" Discord asked.

"Just come." Celsetia said. Discord shrugged his shoulders and followed. It had been a few weeks since Discord had been unfrozen and had stayed in the castle. Discord wanted chaos way more than he had wanted to be friends with Fluttershy. He had been causing it secretely, but he thought Celestia would catch on sooner or later. It seemed she finally had.

"Ever since you came here I've been noticing some royal guard acting the opposite of themselves and eventually lose color lately, I used the memory spell on them to fix them, but that's not the case." Celestia said. He and Celestia were walking down a path of stairs leading under the castle. They were shiny marble stairs that echoed when any pony walked down them.

"Get to the point Celestia." Discord demanded. He heard his voice echoed around the corridor.

"I think you are the one responsible and until you are proven innocent, as precautions, we're locking you in a high security dungeon." Celestia concluded. Discord gasped. He stopped in his tracks.

"Come Discord or I will turn you into stone using the elements of harmony." Celestia demanded. Discord followed her. He walked silently until they reached a solid iron cell with only a small space to hand him food.

"Go on." Celestia commanded.

Discord stood there for a second more before saying "You know I was going to wait a while before doing this."

"Doing what?" Celestia growled. Discord electricuted her using his magic. She fell limp to the floor.

He whispered in her ear "Since you're only paralyzed you can still hear me. I am going to take my revenge someday, and it will be soon. You won't see it coming and it will kill you all. I want you to suffer slowly like I did. So I will make your pain last. You will be the last one to live then...well I think you know what will happen." Then he ran up the corridor as fast as he could. Discord knew Celestia wouldn't stay paralyzed for long. He entered the main room of the castle and was about to leave when a royal guard stopped him.

"What are you doing with no guard with you?" The guard asked.

"You shouldn't care." Then Discord put a spell on the guard that did the same thing as the other ponies he put them on. He then said "I don't care about you do whatever." and then stalked off. Discord smiled and then pushed open the immensly large doors. He ran outside as fast as he could legs pounding on the ground. He needed time to think. He needed to escape.

He finally arrived at the edge of Canterlot where he made sure no pony would see him. He realized he could see all of Pony Ville from this particular spot. He leaped off the edge. He angled his body towards the Everfree forest and used his wings to help with speed and angle. He flew high over everything. He realized he was about to even go over the Everfree forest so Discord headed straight down. He was about to hit the ground when he activated a magic bubble that stopped his fall.

"I'm here at last." He murmered to himself. He entered the forest knowing that if the royal guard did notice that he left, no pony would follow him. Discord entered the dark forest and lit up  his paw as a light. Discord walked slowly through the Everfree forest. It had been very cramped with all the guards following him making sure he didn't do anything bad.

He loved the outside he truly did, but the main reason he even escaped was so he could gather up supplies and think of a more suitible plan to kill the ponies, there had been too much noise in the castle to think of a plan, even at night. He wanted to kill all ponies for he had ruled, but then Celestia and Luna defeated him and ruined his life. He wanted to make every pony suffer for what the princesses took away from him. He clenched his fists in anger feeling his dagger like fingernails and claws digging into his palm.

As he walked and thought, his mind was building up in fury from what the princesses had took away from him until he could no longer see. He bumped into an unfamiliar figure and growled "Watch it." To his surprise it answered.

It snarled " How dare you talk to a queen like that." He stopped his thoughts and looked up to see a black pony. He looked closer to see the groustuque features of an ugly alicorn. It had a horn with a hole on each side and tattered wings.  It had holes in it's mane and legs like something had ate their way through those particular spots. All in all Discord thought she looked like manure.

It suddenly leaped at him with such surprise force it knocked him down. He heaved her off him and jumped back on his hooves. He lashed at it with his magic, but it was blocked using a shield also made from magic. Discord leaped at her and slashed at it's throat.

"Okay stop!" It screamed.

"You attacked me first." Discord pointed out.

"Whatever, you bossed me around, who I again shall say is a queen." she said.

" Um...who exactly are you and what are you queen of?" he asked.

"You mean you don't know who I am, I am Chrysalis, Queen of the changelings. They do whatever I say and there tons of changelings at my command. " she exclaimed.

"Geez!" Discord said, " I was sort of turned to stone for the past at least 1000 years and don't really know about the recent politics." she said " You must be Discord. I've heard so much about how you were defeated by the princesses, you must really want revenge."

He stopped a moment and replied "What do you care?"

She responded, "You see I too was defeated by a princess and have been looking for a sidekick."

" Me, a sidekick?" Discord said incredulously " Why I am the lord of chaos if anything, you should be my sidekick."

"Fine let me rephrase that, I'm looking for a powerful ally to assist me, are you interested?" she asked.

"What's in it for me" Discord said.

"Power, control, revenge, basicly everything you've ever dreamed of." she replied.

Discord still uncertain asked "What are you doing here anyway?"

"Let's just say looking for weaknesses in this place by using my incredible hearing to eavesdrop ." she said with a smile across her face. Discord thought to himself since she's got changelings to back her up this might actually work...or so she says she has control over the changelings.

Discord said "Alright you've got my attention."
