Chapter one: The beginning
No words could describe how I felt at that second, the mare of my dreams standing next to a handsome colt in a tux, he asked her to marry him, They have been dating for a while, but...How could it have gotten so serious so fast? Where was I when this all happened?! She was once..my mare friend!?!? and now THIS!
Lets go to the beginning...
“ Princess mi amore cadenza, but please, call me cadence” A pink filly said as she spread her wings out I started in awe at the beautiful allicorn filly “Wow” was the only word I could let slip from my mouth as I stared into her eyes “and you are” the young princess asked in a sing song voice.
I’m Aurora sky” I finally said lifting my saddle bag off and down to the floor of the class room with my magic that glowed a bright yellow “It’s nice to meet you, you must be new..Ive never seen you before” She said as I sat down
“I just moved here from Fillydelfiea, I passed the entrance exam yesterday and well..here I am” I said laughing nervously, I wasn't good at meeting ponies, for some reason when ever I met some pony the tips of my ears felt hot, as if they were on fire, and my throat felt dry and itchy “I can’t say I've been there, however my aunt Celestia says is a nice place. I felt dumb founded “Princess Celestia is your aunt?!?” I said looking at her with a glazed look it my blue eyes
“Haha, yep” she said tugging at her hair band “wow” again, the only word able to escape between the burning questions in my mind
“Fillies, colts, settle down, It’s time to start the lesson” Ms. Lemon hearts said her horn blowing in a green magical ora surrounding quills and small pots of ink “Wanna be friends?” Cadence asked in a soft whisper. Me.. Princess Cadence wanted to be friends with..me, I was a simple unicorn, okay, so I knew how to do a cloud walking spell, I was good at magic, But she already had her cutie mark, a blue heart with gold spirals, I didn't have my cutie mark, my flank was a clear slate. Why would she want to be my friends, I’m shy, I’m not that pretty, why me” With my mind buzzing “yes” I said with an instant
“Okay, we can play at recess” she said smiling “ahem” Cadence and myself looked up to Ms. Lemon hearts standing in front of our desks, taping her hoof “Can your conversation wait tell after the lesson” she asked with a stern look, I still remember Ms. Lemon hearts, she was a bitter pony but over all a good teacher, but I can never forget the “look” we got when she was angry
And that’s where My friendship with the filly Princess began, she was everything to me, almost like a sister, I was so care free back then, how was I suposed to know that things would turn on me.

"Cadence is the most fantastic friend ever!!" I said jumping around my mothers legs "Slow down there Aurora" My mother said laughing, she had the same violet coat as I, but instead of her mane being mint green it was bright red and white. My mothers name Was Crimson sky, she was violet in color with a bright red and white streaked mane thats was long and wavy with spiky bangs. Her cutie mark was a roller skate, she was a roller durby chap, she lived for speed. She flew when she skated, earning her the name Crimson Sky instead of her former name Crimson heart.
"so you made a new friend?" she asked as she started slicing an apple using her magic and playing in on a plate. "Yeah! her name is cadence! shes a princess!" I said as Crimson placed a plate infront of me.
"Oh! Celestias Little neice, isent she older then you?" my mother asked, I nodded. Cadence was a about 2 years older then me as I had found out at recess, she was in the class that morning because she was assigned as my reading buddy.
I began to tell my mother everything, the games we played and all the fun we had, I told her how Cadence lived in the castle with Celestia and had a friend named shining armor. I aslo told her that her and Cadnece had planed to meet up at the park to hang out "So please can I hang out with Cadence Please please please!!!!!" I begged as I ate the last of my after school snack.
"Well...I don't know" My mother began, oh great, that was every fillys worst night mare. The word no, Please mom..Don't say know, I remember thinking she was about to say know and my hopes would be thrown out like tuesdays trash. Okay. you can go" she said with a smile, I jumped up and huged her tightly "thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!" I said jumping up and down.
My mother just sat there and watched with a big smile.

That is when I met shining armor, Shining was pretty nice, we played for hours that day
Me and cadence spent hours with each other, and we even spent the entire summer togeather, her, shining and I, we were three P.F.F's. Pony friends forever. We went swimming once, in a lake just outside Canterlot, Shinings parrents look us. I remember me and Cadence burring shining in the sand. I think it took a week for all the sand to get out of our manes.
I had a tour of the castle, and met Celestia, she was really nice, I hung out at the castle a lot, I loved being there. It was so fancy and big, it was the BEST place for hide and go seek, witch Cadence,shining and myself played for hours on rainy days.
My mom even got to know Celestia, and Celestia sponserd my moms roller durby team
I remember playing tag, going places, Cadence even came with me to my home town for a visit
Innocence is bliss, my filly hood was great, I had two best friends
But it was Cadence that I grew the closest to.
