The Creation of Equine Rule

Now it is up to the ponies to regain the balance through this dreaded experience. In most ways the world had become more imbalanced due to the violent and evil ways of the warriors. One hundred and sixty years had passed since the end of the griffon war (Current Year is 1 B.C.) and the ponies still argue and feud here and there. They have cleaned up the barren wastes that were the battlefields together though. One thing the war was sparked is the slight increase in anger for Discord. He says, “I for one think it is a shame that their inner selves are accepted and that mine is thrown to waste because I am different on the outside.” Cybele saw this anger within Discord rising and required assistance. But first she must wait for the ponies to regain their own stability. One year had passed and the answer had been final. Cybele was to create an advanced reason of opposition working in harmony. She had spawned two new Alicorns to aid her. Each had taken a distant time to spawn, for they were Noble Beings. They are Luna, Princess of Night and the Moon. And Celestia, Princess of Day and the Sun. Celestia was spawned first, ten years later came Luna. These two Alicorns were immediately recognized as Goddesses, for they are the only physical Alicorn Ponies. Although in the presence of greatness, the three pony races refused to remain harmonious. The three races began to feud and fight over their petty differences. The Earth Ponies became envious of their inability to produce magic or fly. The Pegasi gained wrath for the retaliation of the other races. And the Unicorns became greedy by stealing the crops from Earth Ponies to create potions for their own selfish needs. Seeing all their subjects rant and rave, the two princesses held a council in Evesica. The sisters implied that harmony and reason were the only salvation from discordance. Though the ponies agreed to make peace, their words spoke what their actions can’t hear. All of the chaos and unrest that these ponies caused made the princesses themselves grow with anger. This could not happen; if it does it will prove that disharmony is dominant. If that happened death would reign upon all of life. Finally, in desperation, the princesses created five more Alicorns. These Alicorns took 387 years to spawn due to lack of power from the Princesses. (Current Year: 397) Of these Alicorns were Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, and Loyalty. These Alicorns wielded a weapon more powerful than any other before it. They wielded the spirits of the Elements of Harmony. These elements were intended to create a better future for all of Celestia and Luna’s subjects. And so they did. The Elements of Harmony set on a course all over Earth. They spawned a gigantic explosion of all colors that spread all around the world. When induced by this magic, all beings had felt a sense of peace and harmonious attachment. Peace had finally been achieved. Although they created peace, not all ponies were fond of each other. This gave Princess Celestia a feeling as if something were missing. But she can’t quite put her hoof on it.
