Chapters "Aaaaand there! Done."
Kaelen wiped the sweat off his brow as he finished placing the strings of his latest instrument in place.
"That wasn't too bad." He sighed, "I just hope it works."
Kaelen stood up from his workbench and stretched his back, "It should work. Twilight did say I had a solid design. Lyra too."
He picked it up and looked over it a few times, "I'm not sure what Ponies will think about this. But I think Anoushka Shankar would be pretty proud to own this."
Kaelen had been in Equestria now for about six months. He was found with his clothes torn up just behind Zecora's hut. Nobody's quite sure how he got there though....
He quickly locked up the instrument in a make-shift case, picked it up, and walked out of his backroom workshop.
Soon he was out in the streets of Ponyville, the park being his final destination.
Once he had arrived at the park, the only thing one could call 'different' there would be Pinkie Pie barreling past him, screaming something about a 'Welcome Wagon'.
Shrugging it off as Pinkie Pie, he continued on his way, and soon found the spot he was looking for in the park. A small hill under a tree, perfect for what he had in mind for this evening. Upon coming closer to the tree though, he saw what was probably the source of Pinkie's excitement: A Pony.....a NEW Pony.
First off, she was a Pegasus. She was also white, pure white. Her mane was a dark shade of Purple, and it was positioned to cover up her left eye. He couldn't make out her eye colour, as he was still too far, and she had them closed anyways.
He sighed, "Tomorrow's gonna be fun ." And continued his walk over to the tree. The closer he got though, the more he noticed things. Like the music, was she playing an instrument? A quick glance and listen told him she was playing the Tibetan Bowls , using her hoof, instead of a stick or brace like he'd seen most ponies use....then again he'd only SEEN one pony use them, more like one Zebra, so he didn't really have any background knowledge.
Knowing from past experience that most prefer you not to talk during this, Kaelen simply sat down down in front of her, who he guessed hadn't noticed a him since her eyes were closed, crossed his legs in the lotus position, and began meditating.
I came here to Zen. He thought to himself, So I might as well...
He didn't have to wait long for the pony to finish, as they had stopped minutes after he started meditating. They probably noticed another presence nearby. When the bowls finished ringing, he opened his eyes, and found himself being stared at cautiously by the pony, who he now knew had misty golden eyes.
After a few seconds of this little staring match, Kaelen decided to end it, or he would've if the pony hadn't have spoken first.
"....Hello." Her voice was quiet, as though she didn't wish to scare something, and deep. He wondered if it was naturally deep or if she was doing that on purpose.
"Hello." he responded calmly, "I came here to Zen...I saw that you were and figured it would be okay if I joined you... It...was okay, right?"
She smiled calmly, "No, it's fine. I noticed you when you sat down, but I didn't feel like disturbing your little session either, so I played for a bit longer."
Kaelen was surprised by her answer but didn't show it. She had noticed him? He hadn't made a sound...
"Thank you. What's your name?"
She held a hoof over the Bowls in his direction, "Dream Weaver. Your's?"
Kaelen grasped the hoof lightly and shook it, "Kaelen. Kaelen Hails." he released her hoof and she brought it back down.
"A pleasure to somepony else who enjoys Zen. Not many do."
He shook his head, "Unfortunately no, you're right."
Dream smiled sadly at him for a moment, before something dawned on her, "Oh right. You came here to Zen, and I noticed you setting something down. What is your Zen instrument?"
"Oh right," he turned around, opened the case and pulled it out, then he showed it proudly to her, "It's an instrument from my world called a Sitar."
She trialed her eyes along it slowly, "....Amazing...can I hear you play?"
He nodded, "Of Course. I'm starting out with a slow song first, before moving on to a more fast paced one. Sound good?"
"Sure." Dream was happy, she had not been in this town for over a day and was already talking happily with somepony....who was male.
Never thought I'd see the day when I'd be this comfortable around a male.... She thought.
He grinned, "Okay then. This is just to make sure it's working." He started to play.
It was a simple tune, not even a tune really, it just sounded calming.
I like it. She allowed a small smile on her face, and looked him over, which Kaelen was unable to notice as he also had his eyes closed.
He was, from what she could tell given that he was sitting, decently tall if he stood on his hind legs, which was probably how he walked. His skin was slightly tanned but still ever so slightly pale. He had straight, shoulder length hair, which was brown, but it had a very slight hint of red to it, the bangs were a sapphire blue, and they also covered his left eye. His arms were decently muscular, though they were most likely much stronger than they looked.
There was really nothing special to say about him (To us maybe the hair.) to anypony else. But to Dream, he was the best male she had ever met, simply because she wasn't scared of him. She didn't know why, didn't care why, but she didn't feel any fear towards him. And that alone was making her want to simply lay her head in his lap and zone out, with him simply sitting there, running a hand through her mane.
She blinked multiple times to clear her head.
What was that about? I don't understand it I just met him.... still...it was a very nice thought. She let her smile grow larger and her eyes close, as she let herself think of it, content to enjoy the bliss her mind was gracing her with.
Soon he finished the impromptu song, and opened his eyes to look back at. And found Dream to be sitting there with her eyes closed, and a blissful smile on her face.
"So?" He began, making her eyes open and focus on him, "What'd you think?"
Dream needed a second to sort her thoughts out, "It was wonderful."
Kaelen grinned, "If you think that's wonderful. Tell me what you think of this one....oh, you might want to keep your eyes open for this one, it makes it even better."
Dream nodded, "It sounds like this is going to be a bit more fast faced."
"A lot more fast paced at certain spots. But it's still a good Zen song." He took a few breaths, closed his eyes, and began to play.
Dream was watching his hands with her utmost attention fascinated by their movements, and how he was doing this with his eyes closed...it baffled her.
After the first break in the song (At 2:30 in the song). Things really seemed to pick up. And it was amazing to watch, but it was a couple dozen seconds in (At 3:15 in the song.) that she was a little more amazed. It sounded as if somepony else was playing the back strings and he was playing the front. Yet he was doing all of it with ONE finger! And she became even more shocked when he sped up what he doing to a seemingly impossible speed, there was a continuous sound from the back string, yet the front string was playing a noticeable tune as on top of it. And still somehow with only ONE finger strumming....suffice to say her jaw dropped.
And for the rest of the song her jaw remained in that dropped position, because after that part, his hands never really slowed down too much.
When the end of the song finished, Kaelen opened his eyes to find a very awed Dream staring at him with her mouth gaping.
"How did I do?" He grinned.
The words made Dream snap out of her little trance, "That. Was. Awesome! I didn't think it was possible to move your uhhh...whatever those things are called, that fast! I didn't even think ANYPONY could move anyTHING that fast!"
Kaelen smiled, not many ponies aside from Twilight and some of the local musicians (Lyra, Octavia, and surprisingly Vinyl), ever gave him much praise, "Thanks...." He looked up at the sky and frowned, they were dangerously black, and thunder could be heard slightly, "I should be heading back home now...."
Dream's smiled dropped almost violently, "....what?"
He got up and put the sitar back in it's case, flipping the locks up so it wouldn't accidentally open, "Yeah. I have to get up early and look for a job.... And the rain looks like it's about to come down hard." He looked back at her with a sad smile, "Maybe tomorrow evening?"
Dream was fighting hard not to let her lower lip quiver, unfortunately she couldn't do that as well as keep her eyes from watering, "C-Can't I stay at your place?"
"Why?" He was confused, "Don't you have your own place to live?"
She shook her head, and Kaelen suddenly remembered something.
She just got here a couple hours ago, idiot. Of course she doesn't have a house yet, town hall closes at six and that's where you buy a house.
"I...suppose you can take the guest room."
She perked up a bit, "Thanks...you're sweet." She had to fight off a wide eyed blush from what she just said.
Where did THAT come from? She thought.
Kaelen though was not so lucky in the blush department, he had to turn his head to hide it. He picked up his Case, "Let's go." And walked off. Dream following close behind, after quickly stacking her bowls and placing them in a a bag she had behind the tree, she trotted over to him.
When they reached his house, it had been lightly raining for about five minutes and was starting to get worse, he pulled out his key and unlocked the door.
I swear to god if Pinkie's in my house.....
He mentally grumbled as he opened the door. And thankfully, Pinkie was not here. He tossed his keys in a bowl beside the door and headed towards the backroom.
Dream stood in the front hallway and shook herself dry before noticing the towel beside the door, which she used gratefully.
Meanwhile, in the backroom, Kaelen was having a little mental argument.
Why did you say yes to letting her sleep here?
I wasn't gonna just leave her out in the streets.
You keep telling yourself that. We both know you like her.
I do not!........maybe a little....
I think we both know it's more than a little.
Okay! I like her a lot. But she's not gonna be part of one of my little 'perfect world' fantasies.
......What...kind of....'fantasies'?.......Describe the one you want the most.
........Laying on the couch, on a stormy night in front of a fire, with her lying on top of me, simply listening to the rain with her head on my shoulder, while I run my hand through her hair.
......That's actually a lot better than what I was thinking.
What were YOU thinking?
...A looooooot of screwing.
You've been talking to the wrong head...again. We both know I prefer cuddling to sex.
But you wouldn't appose to it correct?
.....No, no I would not....but we both know I would never push that upon somebody.
True, True.....
He set the case in his back room and walked back out, closing the door behind him.
Is there a problem with that?
Somebody down South might have a problem with that, but I don't.
So.....what do I do?
Give into your feelings a little. Allow yourself to accept her advances, make small ones of your own, you know? Nudge Nudge. You'll get there eventually.
......That's actually really good advice.
Well duh. I'm your heart, what did you expect? It's my job to make you feel love.
.......True.
With his little mental tirade over, he glanced back at Dream. Who was standing there waiting for him, "Can you show me to my room?"
"Yeah it's this way." He said, and proceeded to head up the stairs to the second floor, Dream following right behind him.
"The bathroom is right there." He pointed to a door.
"At the end of the hall is a closet with extra sheets." He motioned in front of him.
"And there's a mini fridge in the guest room as well as mine. Your's will have a couple bottles of water and some crackers. If you need anything else just knock on my door and ask."
Dream nodded and he continued, "Here's your room."
He opened the door and revealed a simple room painted an off-white, with wooden floor boards, a dresser, a medium sized closet, and a two Pony bed.
Dream stepped in and set her bag down in the corner, she turned to him, "Thank you, Kaelen. You've been, so kind to me and have asked nothing in return." She sat down and held out her front hooves.
Kaelen understood what this meant and kneeled down in front of her, wrapping her in a small hug.
Neither wanted it to end, they would be happy to simply sit in the other's arms. But they both knew better. Dream had to fight the urge to nuzzle him, which she almost managed, but at the end when he pulled back she couldn't help but stretch her neck for a little more contact, that's when she nuzzled him ever so slightly, probably not enough for him to notice, she hoped, she prayed. She didn't want to ruin her chances to an advance that she made too soon.
Kaelen stood up straight again and smiled softly, "You're welcome. I'll leave you to yourself." And with that, he left, closing the door behind him.
Dream sighed, the rain was starting to come down hard. This was gonna be a loooong night.
"What? No. Dad. I don't want to do this! You can't Make me!"
She was struck in the jaw, sending her sprawling to the floor.
"I can do whatever I want with you!!"
She started to cry, which only got her a kick in the gut.
"Shut-Up!"
The sound of the door opening made her look up hopefully. She saw who it was and a smile graced her face, her brother, her cousin, and her friend from school
"Forge! Glaze! Frost!" She said happily, relieved to see them.
Forge, her brother, simply smirked while Glaze, her cousin, closed and locked the door. Her smile started to fade.
"What-"
She was cut off by a swift punch to her stomach by Frost, her friend.
"Shut it Princess! We don't like meat that talks."
They slowly started to surround her. Then she felt something poking her backside.
"Wait!" Her father called. The three Colts turned to look at him, "She's mine."
"Then what do we get?" Forge asked.
The two others looked at her father questioningly.
He smiled and held up a chain, "You get." He yanked hard, sending a battered, bloodied, and bruised, yellow mare tumbling into their line of sight, "This royal whorse!" He tossed them the chain, which Forge took.
She couldn't believe her eyes, "Mother?!"
"What did we say about keeping quiet!?!?" Frost bucked her in the side, a few cracks were heard, indicating she had broken ribs now, as well as making her slide across the floor and stopping in front of her Father.
Her Father grinned and stepped over her. She was very confused, as she was just a little filly, until she felt something thick and long being forcefully inserted into her ass- (A/N: I refuse to continue that. For any people who are interested ((Though I have NO idea !?WHY?!)) In what happened next, PM me.)
A loud crack of thunder shook her out of the Nightmare.
"NOOOOOOOO!!" Dream screamed. She sat up, drenched in sweat and panting like she had just galloped a thousand miles non-stop at top speed, with a herd of angry monkeys succeeding at raping and eating her alive simultaneously every step of the way. (A/N:........*shudders*)
Slowly she took in her surroundings, it still didn't help her calm down at all. Without thinking she made her way out of her room, making her way to bathroom, to make sure it hadn't actually happened. She was just passing Kaelen's room when an Ear-splitting crack of thunder shook the entire house violently.
She screamed and flailed her hooves in an attempt run, only to end up running sideways and crash into Kaelen's bedroom door, splitting the frame until the hinges gave way and her with it. She hit the floor on top of the door, it's knob making a loud crack to accompany the thud of the door hitting the ground, as well as another crack that came from the door splitting in half at the knob.
Kaelen shot out of bed and ran over to her, "Dream!"
Dream locked up, the sound of a male voice right after the nightmare was too much. She suddenly started shivering violently, and was making petrified whimpers to accompany the shivers.
Kaelen, unaware of what had happened in her nightmare, knelt down and gripped her in a chest to back hug.
Dream was beyond petrified by now, everything was mixing together, first she was raped, now she was being held against her will by another male. She started thrashing around, trying her best to get free, beating at his arms over and over again. She wanted to run, she wanted to hide, she wanted to die.
Kaelen didn't know what to do, he could feel her heart pounding almost as hard as her hooves were. He'd dealt with hysteria before, though this was the worst he'd ever seen, and so he simply held onto her, knowing that it was better than letting her go and having her fall kill herself somehow.
Dream wanted out, she really wanted out. She wanted out, and she was GOING TO GET THE FUCK OUT! She managed to snake her head up to his neck, and she bit down on it, hard, really hard. It broke the skin, and blood started pouring into her mouth, yet she didn't let up on the pressure, she WOULDN'T, not until she was out!
Kaelen was hit before he could register it, the second he did though, he screamed, he screamed in pain, in shock, in fear . Yet still, he held strong, and maintained his grip around her. He may be about to die, but he would not let her die as well!
Dream realized this as well, he wasn't going to let go, he would never let go, no matter what she did. Still, she wouldn't stop, she couldn't stop. IT would NOT happen a second time. She continued pounding his arms with her hooves over and over again, until finally. She accepted defeat, it WAS going to happen a second time, and it was going to be worse than the first time after what she just did. She couldn't take it anymore, she let go of his neck and cried, she cried like she never had before. She cried hard, loud, violently. Yet he still wouldn't let go! What was wrong with him?! She submitted! She gave up!
Kaelen noticed the change through his ever so slowly blurring vision and pain, and allowed a small smile to grace his lips. She's burned out, the worst is over. He simply sat there, holding her tightly, though his grip was loosening, not from his own accord, but from the damage, he was slowly slipping unconscious, and fighting his best not to. This was a battle he was not going to win if she didn't snap out of it soon.
Dream was slowly starting to realize this male.....did not wish to hurt her, to harm her, to violate her. Who could it-
KAELEN!!!
Everything popped into place, and when it did, she froze, even her shaken had stopped, she was aware of everything she had just done, the metallic taste of blood in her mouth was there to remind had she forgotten ANYTHING. Slowly, she opened her eyes, and looked down to find two arms wrapping around her mid-section, gripping her tightly, though the grip was loosening, and not the kind of voluntary loosening, she knew what that felt like, it was the way her mother had held her when her nighttime hysteria's had passed. No, this was the kind of loosening that happens when the body holding you is dying, she had felt that to, four times, when they had-
"Kaelen!" She slipped out of his grip so easily now it scared her, she whipped her head around to find a very pale looking Kaelen looking at her with wavering eyes, as though he couldn't control them anymore, and a small smile on his lips. Lips which began to move slowly, like a dying fish, "Y-......You're....back....." The smile widened for a second, before his body collapsed on the floor in a soon to be lifeless heap.
"NO!" He was dying, she knew it, she could feel it, she could hear it, and there was nothing she could do about it. Just like when her mother died. She was useless. She couldn't do anyth-
Wait! I can do something!
But he'd never forgive you!
I don't CARE! I will not loose him!
Just DO IT before it's too LATE!!
She darted her head forward towards his, her eye teeth extended, and her iris became a heavenly blue that seemed to give off a very soft glow, and she latched onto his neck, draining him of everything he had left. His mouth opened wide, but no sound came out.
She took her jaws off of him, and looked him in the eyes, "I'm sorry...." She opened her own mouth, and a white mist came out and went down his throat. He fell backwards, dead? Yes. He was dead, she could feel no pulse.
She moved his hair out of the way of his now lifeless eyes and stared at them. Nothing. Nothing was happening, there was no change, no flicker, no nothing.
Tears started to silently fall from her face. Her body once again opting for hysteria again. But she fought it, she fought it with everything she had, but this was a fight she was slowly moving. A tear drop formed and fell, and it landed in one of his eyes. He twitched! He twitched! She was so relieved.
She picked him up carefully and set him back onto his bed, then she laid down on top, and gave him the shortest of kisses on his lips, before lowering her head down to his chest, and falling asleep.
Coming to Terms (Part 1/2)
Kaelen awoke.
Or did he? He wasn't sure, he could feel the world around him, yet he still felt as if he were asleep. It felt like that weird feeling you get when you think of a paradox, or what it feels like to die.
He very quickly became aware of something on his chest, though it was not moving, and it wasn't light either, it was heavy enough to possibly be a-
Dream! His eyes snapped open and he quickyl looked down, to find a dead still Dream on top of him.
"Dream?" He lifted up an arm and poked her in the side, making her twitch slightly.
She's alive? He grabbed her sides and gave a light shake, "Dream! Dream wake up!"
She lifted her head off his shoulders and looked at him with sad, and happy eyes?
"Kaelen!.......you're...dead..." Her face was filled with many conflicting emotions, happiness, sorrow, anger....love.
He was confused, "What do you mean dead? I'm talking to you right now aren't we?.......Unless we're both dead."
Dream nodded, "No yeah we're both dead."
He paused, then wrapped his hands around her back and held her close, "Then I guess we're both in heaven."
She giggled and blushed, it felt great, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but we're still in the living world."
If blood still pulsed, he would've blushed.
Dream smiled, "As much as I'd love to continue this.....I'm guessing you want some answers huh?"
He nodded, "But are you sure we can't stay like this?"
She giggled, "I suppose. Now...where to start?"
"How about with what happened last night?"
She flinched, memories she wished to keep away streaming back to her, "Well..." She started, "We know what happened up until I...bit, you."
He nodded, idly petting her mane. Why? He's nervous, "I'm not sure what happened after that...."
Him doing so made this all the more harder, but she pushed through it. She HAD to tell him, "Well...after I bit you, I snapped out of it, and stopped struggling."
She took a shaky breath, "But, you released your grip, except.... you hadn't meant to."
It took him a moment to realize what she meant, and when he did, he paused, ".......You mean..."
She nodded, "You were dying from blood loss...."
The silence she was expecting did not happen, "Happened after that?"
She had hoped, prayed, that he had just stayed quiet. She took another shaky breath, "You were dying, and...I had caused it. I wouldn't accept it, and couldn't accept it..you were the first male that I can even BE around. So I...."
She was starting to cry, in fear of what he may think, in disgust of her choice, "I....I turned you."
This was the moment, that silent moment, the one where he decides to hang her by her ankles in the Everfree forest and never come back to get her.
Kaelen wasn't quite sure what he had just heard, and was currently his thoughts were at war.
What does she mean by 'Turned me'?
Well, given what you know, the phrase, 'Turned me' usually means she turned you into a vampire.
That's absurd Brain! How could even think that was a possibility?
Dude, she bit your neck and sucked on it. Either she's from a weird ass cult and that was the initiation. Or-
She's actually a vampire I get it. So...what should I do?
That's simple. Do what your heart tells you.
Okay then....
Do you love her?
.....Well I just met her I ca-
I'm not your parents Kaelen. Now. Do you love her?
............yes.
Then stay with her. Don't be mad at her, she did it because she loves you. She did it because she felt responsible and she didn't want to lose you...okay?
.......Okay.
Good. Now go and tell her that everything's alright.
You might want to check to make sure if she did actually turn you first though.
Good plan.
".......turned me?" He finally said.
She nodded.
"...into what, exactly?"
"A-A Divine Vampire......"
".....A what now?" He was confused. He understood Vampire, but the 'Divine' part? No idea.
"It- It..." She sighed, "During the war. Luna...or, Nightmare Moon I should say, created a spell that would make the ultimate warriors. The Vampires."
He nodded, and she continued, "Shortly after the war. Celestia had to find these Vampires and make sure they would behave. In doing so though, she was fascinated by them, yet still appalled by the very idea. So she collected all known material on the subject and had them buried deep within the forbidden archives."
"What does this have to do with what we are?"
"I'm getting to that. Now the current librarian at the time was angry at the Princess for not using this spell to our advantage, so she took matters into her own hoof. She re-made the spell into something a little more manageable with less weaknesses, but just as powerful. She needed a test subject, so she chose....her daughter."
She took a shaky breath, "The princess found out when she cast the spell, unfortunately she couldn't reverse the spell, since her first meal was her mother, and she never wrote the spell down."
She paused for a second, "This beast escaped, frightened by the situation, she had no clue what was going on, all she knew was that these mean people were chasing her. So she ran, and hid......Kaelen...that little filly, is me."
He wasn't sure what to think, he didn't know what to think, he just sat there dead still. She was scared, she knew this was it, this is when she was going to get it. She began to shake.
She was the.......nevermind.
What does it matter? She loves you and so do you.
.........what do I-
COMFORT HER DAMN IT!! She thinks you hate her right now.
He tightened his grip around into a comforting embrace.
She was confused, he should be yelling at her right now, beating her, exposing her secret. Why wasn't he?
"......I don't understand. Why aren't you mad?"
"Because there's nothing to be mad at."
She pulled back, "What do you mean, 'Nothing to be mad at.'? There's plenty to be mad at! I KILLED you, I turned you into a monster, I did it for my own selfish desires!"
He squeezed her a little tighter, "Dream.......they were my desires too......."
What? "What?" She looked at him.
He nodded, "If the situation was reversed. I would've done whatever I could to get you back....no matter what the cost...."
"..........Really?" Her voice cracked. She couldn't believe it, after everything she'd done, he still cared for- No. She was positive now. He still loved her!
He nodded, "Really."
Slowly, she brought her face closer to his, he did the same.
I can't believe this is actually going to happen! She thought, And I started it!
Their lips met, time froze, and Dream melted. She had never been kissed so softly, so caringly, so lovingly. She almost moaned.
Kaelen was having similar thoughts, he hadn't been kissed before, he was only fifteen, hadn't had a girlfriend or even had his eye on someone before. So this was an experience to cherish for the rest of his life.
The thing was, it was a simple kiss, no tongue, occasionally one of their mouths opened a touch, but the passion behind could fuel a thousand changelings for years.
They layed there, lips locked, Kaelen rubbing behind her ear lightly, for what seemed to be forever, though it had only been a few minutes, the need for air gone made it that much more enjoyable for both of them. They never wanted it to end.
Three minutes later though, it did. A knock on the door broke them off from it, and both groaned in frustration.
"I'll get it." They both said at once. They looked at each other, giggled a bit, then both of them got up and headed for the door.
A second round of knocking was heard. Kaelen opened the door, "Hi Twilight. Hi Pinkie."
Twilight smile took on a relieved edge, "Hi Kaelen, Pinkie said that something horrible happened to you last night."
Dream's smile took on a strained edge, Twilight continued, "I wanted to check up on you then but the storm had gotten really bad. In fact I made Rainbow move the clouds off of you, it tore through your attic..."
"Yeah, so we came over first thing in the morning to make sure you survived the night." Pinkie said happily.
Kaelen's smile that took on a forced edge.
"Pinkie Pie!" Twilight scolded, "That is such a horrible way to put it!" She turned back to Kaelen, "We wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I'm fine girls, never been better."
Pinkie smiled, "I hope so. After what happened last night I was worried you'd be really mad."
"Why would I be mad Pinkie Pie? I mean I'm not real happy about having to pay for the roof but I'm not mad."
Pinkie shook her head, "I don't mean THAT silly!"
Twilight looked at her questioningly, "Then what do you mean?"
"I meant when she killed him." Pinkie pointed a hoof at Dream, who's eyes widened and started shaking in fear.
Twilight looked at her, then Pinkie, "Pinkie Pie what are you talking about. Kaelen's right in front of us."
"I know that silly. He's still dead though."
Twilight was getting irritated, "Pinkie Pie, cut it out!"
"Oopsy. Sorry about that, I forgot they don't like talking about this stuff in public." She bolted inside the house, dragging Twilight with her, then closed the door.
Dream was standing there, petrified. While Kaelen was shocked. How did Pinkie know....?
"So," Pinkie sat down in front of them, "How long have you been dead Kaelen? And what are you now?"
"Pinkie Pie what is wrong with you?!" Twilight demanded, "What makes you think Kaelen's dead?! He's standing right in front of us!"
Kaelen looked at Dream, who gave a shaky nod, there was no hiding it now, "No, no Twilight, it's okay." He took a breath, "I've been dead for about......six hours now."
"Oooo! A newbie! I have so much to show you! And you HAVE to meet the gang, they'll love you I'm sure!"
Twilight looked to Kaelen confused, "Is 'dead' some kind of code word for a group or something?"
Dream finally regained herself and spoke up, "No. Dead means dead. And he is.... It's...kind of my fault...."
Pinkie looked at her, "Oh you're that new pony I saw yesterday. What clan are you from?"
Dream was confused, "Clan? What do you mean 'clan'?"
Pinkie giggled, "Oh you know silly. The ponies who turned you that you left to come here? Who were they? The Sarcasters? The Farkeels?" She gasped, "Was it the KallPeps? That's MY clan!"
Dream shook her head, "N-No. My mother turned me....."
Pinkie cocked her head to the side, "Who's your Mother. Maybe I've met her."
Dream swallowed the nervous lump in her throat, she had to tell him eventually, ".......Magister....S-Stitches..."
Twilight's head shot up, along with Pinkie's as they both shouted, "WHAT?!?!"
Dream cowered behind Kaelen slightly.
"YOU'RE Dream weaver?! Oh my gosh I've always wanted to meet you! You're like the pony I've striven to become!" Twilight exclaimed. Dream's jaw dropped, along with Pinkie and Kaelen's.
"Twilight. How could you say that?! Dream's been through so much!"
Twilight looked at Pinkie, "But Pinkie Pie, all of those papers she wrote! Even as a filly! They've impacted the way we've worked with magic!"
"Twilight. Dream's been through so much. Think about what she did to her father, and what he did to her! Not to mention those three other colts!"
Twilight thought about it for a second, then her face dropped, "....I-....I'm sorry...I was just so excited to finally meet you and I forgot what had happened....." Twilight's ears fell.
"There, there, Twilight. We know you didn't mean any harm." Pinkie patted her on the shoulder reassuringly.
Dream was shocked, she expected to be hated and shunned if anypony ever found out. Guess it was her day to be wrong. She was glad, and a smile on her face showed it, "It's okay, Twilight. You were caught up in the moment."
Twilight looked back at her and managed a weak smile, "Thanks.....i-if you don't mind...Maybe we could...compare notes sometime?"
Dream's smile got bigger, "I'd love to. Can Kaelen come too?" She asked.
Twilight raised an eyebrow, "...I...don't see why not."
"Thank you!" Dream replied.
"Uh...You're welcome?...Why do you want Kaelen to come as well?"
"Ooh Ooh! I know! You two are together now aren't you?!"
"Pinkie Pie that's absurd! They're not even the same species. There's no way they'd be together." Twilight gulped as she realized what she just said. Ears flat against her head, she continued, "Are you...together?"
Dream looked up at Kaelen, who shrugged, she smiled and leaned against him, "Yeah. We are."
Twilight chuckled nervously, "Hehehe.....I don't suppose you'd believe I was kidding when I said that it was absurd would you?"
They shook their heads. Twilight gulped, "...I-...I'm sorry....I was going off what I heard from other ponies in Canterlot..... I personally don't see any problem with it if the love's there......" With each word she sunk lower and lower to the ground, until she was sitting down with her head on the floor, tail tucked between her legs.
It was heartbreaking, for Kaelen, "Don't worry Twilight. We won't hold it against you."
Dream nodded in agreement, "I've heard some of the things they say about this kind of stuff in Canterlot. And I almost believed it!"
"Yeah Twilight. Don't worry about it. Everypony makes mistakes." Pinkie patted her back softly.
Twilight slowly got up, "......Okay."
"Now, did you guys need anything else?"
Twilight looked at him, "Actually, now that we know who your marefriend is....I think Celestia might want to know about her and you, given what happened last night...."
Dream swallowed but nodded, "You're right."
Kaelen thought for a moment before deciding, "It would be best."
A quick flash filled the room and there was a stack of quills and paper floating beside Twilight, "Alright then. Where should we start?"
"How about on my couch?" Kaelen suggested.
"But-" Twilight was cut off by Dream, "I second the motion, all those in favour?" She raised her hoof, as did Pinkie and Kaelen.
Kaelen turned to Twilight, "Overuled. To the couch."
Twilight simply giggled and walked over to the couch, to find a small problem, "Kaelen, you don't have a couch, you have my old Chaise Lounge ...."
"Ooops.... I have some cushions underneath...."
Twilight smiled, "That will work."
"Will YOU be using a cushion, Dream?" Pinkie asked knowingly.
Dream looked up at Kaelen, "Oh definitely, I'm standing right beside him."
Twilight giggled as she removed the two cushions from under the Lounge, setting them in front of it and sitting down on one, Pinkie sitting down on the other. Kaelen sat down on the lounge, stretched his legs out, and let one hang off the side so Dream had some room. She thought for a moment. Then jumped up, sprawled out on her side, and rested her head on his chest.
Pinkie couldn't help but 'daww at the sight, Twilight simply rolled her eyes with a slight giggle, she brought up a piece of parchment and a ink dipped quill, "Alright, let's begin. Dream, what are you called? And how old are you?"
Dream thought for a moment, "Mother called me a 'Divine Vampire'. As for age......about...maybe a thousand years."
"A thousand?!" Kaelen was shocked.
"Give or take. I'm sure Twilight could be able to figure out exactly how many years I am."
"Already wrote it down, next question. What exactly is a 'Divine Vampire'?"
"Well what do you want to know?" Dream asked.
"Everything."
"Okay then," She thought for a moment, "I gain my power from the Divine forces, The Sun, The Moon, Etcetera. Each one gives me a different ability and strength, Example: I see better at night and can use dark magic without fear of going mad."
Twilight held up a hoof, "Hold up. Dark magic? That's dangerous!"
Dream shook her head, "Only some of it is. Mother and Princess Luna are both well versed in it."
Twilight thought for a moment before nodding, "Point taken. Continue. How about weaknesses, and downsides?"
Dream shifted her position slightly, "Uhh.....Any fears that we may have had while unchanged are severely increased in our reactions to it, making nightmares extremely dangerous to those around us....."
Memories of last night sprung up into her mind. Almost as if knowing, Kaelen kissed her lightly on the forehead, taking away the memories with it, she smiled up at him and continued, "Sudden changes in light can also be hazardous to us. For example, if you shine a bright light in my eyes at night I would go blind for a few minutes until my body realized it was still night time."
"I see." Twilight continued writing, "Any other ones?"
"We're quick to trust and tend to get over-attached to things we hold important. And if we lose them, we go through a two hundred year depression."
"How do you know this, Dream?" Pinkie asked.
"I used to have a pet dog, when I was young....." Dream said, "....I'd rather not talk about it."
Twilight looked up from her paper, "Okay....moving on. Any other weaknesses?"
"For some reason I hesitate for a second before crossing running water or going into water but it's only for a second or two....other than that no." Dream replied, "What's next?"
"Advantages." Twilight stated.
"Okay then. We never run out of stamina, our strength is normal, but after a thousand years they get really strong. Oddly enough it doesn't show..... We don't need to consume food or water to survive."
"I'm guessing you consume blood then right?" Pinkie asked.
"Blood or bliss. It's the only emotion we can feed off of."
"Interesting, any other advantages?"
Dream nodded, "Increased vision, we can adjust our eyes to be telescopic, or microscopic. We gain a deep appreciation for the arts, as most regular Vampires do. We are in complete control of our body and heal near instantly, though we still feel the pain and the healing process isn't painless. It feels as though you were lit on fire, then flash frozen."
Pinkie winced, "I know how that feels..."
Twilight looked up from her notes and gave Pinkie a questioning look.
Pinkie simply shuddered, "I don't want to talk about it."
".....Okay then. Anything else?"
"Yeah, after your first feed you get wings and magic, not a horn, just magic."
"Where do you cast this magic from?"
"Your wings, your hoof, your forehead, anywhere that has some form of point or spiritual significance. And this last one is a blessing and a curse, we're immortal...as far as I know. I'm not dead yet, and my body's not a day older than when Mother changed me...."
"Wait," Twilight looked at her, "How could that be a curse?"
"Everypony loses somepony important in their life at one point or another. With our increased sensitivity to this and our deep trust..... This is the reason Luna and Celestia live their life without a male at their side, nopony else is immortal and outside the family."
"What about me?" Twilight asked, looking back at her wings.
"You're the first one. Trust me. I suspect that one of the Princesses has romantic plans for you." Dream grinned.
Twilight looked stunned, then thoughtful, then she nodded, "I suppose that makes sense.... and I can't say I would appose to it."
"Good." Dream nodded, "Anything else."
"Yes. How do you... you know...infect for lack of a better word."
"Well, first you must drain them of blood, taking their spirit, their soul with it. You then, mix it with your own and give it back to them."
"How is this done?"
"You would drain their blood the way a normal Vampire would, the mix would happen automatically, the way you would give it back is to simply open you mouth, it would come out as a white mist and go back into it's original body, after that you have to lock it in their, usually done with a simple kiss. When in your actual form, you have fangs and wings, and your eyes turn a shade of blue."
"So this isn't your true form?" Pinkie asked.
Dream shook her head, "No, this is simply what I looked like when I was first turned, The different forms are usually just stuff like a shinier coat, being taller, or changing colours."
"I see. Okay, I'm done. That's it. If I think of anything else-"
"I'll be sure to prepare some tea." Dream smiled.
Twilight smiled back, "I've got to head home to do a quick scan of these. I'll be back with Princess Celestia and Luna later today, probably in an hour or two. Come on Pinkie."
Pinkie bounced up and was out the door waiting for Twilight by the time she finished the sentence.
Twilight rolled her eyes and got up, "Thanks for putting up with all those questions guys."
Kaelen waved a hand at her, "No problem. Now go hang out with your girlfriend."
Twilight pupils turned to pinpricks, "What are you talking about we're just...... yeah, she is...."
"Don't worry about it. I'm very happy for both of you."
Dream smiled and nodded in agreement, "I agree. You two make a nice couple."
Twilight smiled, a slight blush on her cheeks, "Thanks guys....was it that obvious?"
"Not until Pinkie started leaning on you halfway through the session. Not to mention she's calmed down a bit, and actually stayed for the whole Q&A." Kaelen replied.
"Ahhh..... Well I'm glad that you guys don't mind us being together." Twilight said.
"I've never had a problem with another's sexuality."
"Now go on. Your Marefriend's waiting." Dream teased.
Twilight nodded and left, shutting the door behind her.

A/N: My First attempt at writing clop here....not very good probably. If clop's not your thing, skip this chapter entirely. If it is. Go ahead and read. Please don't rate this chapter though, just tell me what you think in the comments, I need help writing these.
Dream looked back at Kaelen with a mischievous smile, "Now," She leaned forwards, "Where were we?"
Kaelen grinned, "I believe we were about here." He kissed her as he had this morning, then pulled back.
Dream looked him in the eyes, "You're right." Then kissed him back.
Minutes into it, Dream decided to take a step forwards, slowly, she prodded his lips lightly with her tongue, which he hesitantly opened slightly, she took this as a sign that he wasn't sure and simply licked his lips until he gave her a full 'Okay'.
He wasn't sure about the whole idea of it. He didn't really like the thought of someone else inside his mouth, it probably wouldn't taste very good. He was wrong, she tasted more like cherries than spit, which was odd, but he wasn't about to complain.
Feeling brave, he opened his mouth and allowed her full access.
She felt him open his mouth more and slid her tongue inside, dancing it across his teeth and tongue. She was enjoying this feeling, the feeling that she was in complete control of the situation, and that it was with somepony she deeply loved. It still didn't help with her inexperience though.
Since he realized his tongue was far too short to respond in kind, he simply ran his tongue along the bottom of hers, which must've been right, because he was rewarded with a deep moan.
She didn't even know the underside of her tongue was that sensitive. Whatever, she's not complaining. He moved his hand behind one ear and rubbed it, making her moan again.
She was in bliss. And was, without knowing it, slipping into her true form. Slowly her teeth elongated, her body became more lean, much taller as well (Luna sized), and her coat was sparkling white, and her wings became longer and more angelic, the feathers becoming more defined and fluffy. And, had her eyes been open, they would've been heavenly blue.
Kaelen was in bliss as well. His hair extended to about his waist, his tan became more even, he did have wings, but they didn't form as there was no room for them to. Had he had room for them, they would have been the length of his body, pure white and almost exactly like Dream's. Had his eyes been open as well they would've been a captivating sapphire blue.
Kaelen slowly brought his free hand down her neck, stroking it lightly and causing her to shiver in delight.
I swear he's done this before..... Was her first though. The another one hit her. Am I going to allow this to happen?................yes. She felt safe doing so, with that in mind, she ran a hoof over his chest lightly.
Kaelen was pretty sure this was an advance, but he wasn't certain, remembering something Twilight told him. His hand lightly rubbed between her wings, causing her to moan. He continued his rub on her wings until she broke the kiss and looked at him, "You want to continue this too?"
He nodded, "Normally I would hold back....but it just feels so right at the moment."
She smiled lovingly at him, "I was having similar thoughts." She rubbed a hind leg along the crotch of his pants lightly. He shuddered oh so slightly.
"Let me lead us Kaelen." She said. He was not complaining.
She kissed him once, before sliding off the couch, and sitting down in front of him. Both now realized their forms had changed, though neither cared enough to mention it.
He shifted his position so his legs were both on the ground again.
She ran a hoof along his crotch, noting the slight stiffness to it, and grinned, "Somepony's excited."
He chuckled and pointed to her wings, "I'm not the only one."
She giggled, "I suppose. Help me with these things would you?" She patted his belt softly with her hoof.
He undid his belt and the button to his jeans then the zipper, she stopped him there, "Let me help."
She took his jeans in her mouth and pulled down on them, and with some shifting on his part, they were cast aside. All he wore now was his underwear, which was doing no help in hiding his excitement. She smiled nervously. Which he immediately noticed, "Hey," He lifted her chin so he could look her in the eyes, "Is everything okay?"
She nodded, "Just a little nervous I suppose."
"That makes two of us."
She gave him a quick kiss, the feeling of his lips against her re-assuring her that he wouldn't take advantage of her. She brought her head back and took the band in her mouth, pulled lightly, and he was free.
She gazed at his member standing proudly, and was pleasantly surprised that it looked nothing like a Stallions, though it wasn't as big as the average stallion she didn't think she would even want the average length after what happened.
Taking a quick lick of the tip, she found that it wasn't at all unpleasant, a bit musky scented but there was no taste. So, feeling a little braver, took the tip in her mouth and lightly suckled on it.
He was trying his hardest not to moan, but she wasn't making it easy, not that he wanted her to stop god no.
Ah screw it. He thought and allowed himself to let out a small moan of pleasure.
She lowered her mouth down more and took in about half, bobbing her head lightly, and receiving moans of approval from above.
She figured now would be about the time to come up, she didn't want him releasing just yet after all. She released him from her mouth with a light popping sound, "Enjoyable?"
He nodded slightly, "Very."
She smiled, "Thank you." Her smile became a little nervous, "I guess we're on to the main event now?"
"Only if you want to."
She layed down on her back on top of one of the cushions and splayed her legs apart, "I'll be okay...just please, be gentle.."
He nodded and got down on his knees, a quick glance somewhat shocked him, and answered a few questions as well.
Since he first got here he had no clue how ponies could lay on the ground with their legs splayed and not nave anything show. Now he knew why. The folds that ponies had to cover their parts completely covered them, as for the other hole, no idea, though with Dream he suspected it was never used so that might explain it.
Finished with his quick glance, he took a finger and lightly brushed it against the glistening folds, causing her to shudder lightly. He continued his rubbing for a while before slowly letting a his finger slide past them opening them slightly and allowing him to caress the underside of them.
She moaned. It was so different than last time. She was in ecstasy and all he was doing was rubbing her!
He grinned at her moans, knowing that meant he was doing a good job. Slowly, he inserted his middle finger into her, she moaned and shuddered. He began to move the finger in and out of her slowly, her moans beginning to increase in volume.
She was getting close, it seemed horrible that this was all it took but she was, "K-Kaelen...."
He withdrew his finger and looked up at her, "Yes?"
She bit her lip, ".....Take me. Make me yours Kaelen. Make me yours."
Kaelen nodded and lifted himself up onto his knees again, lining himself up, "You're sure?"
She nodded, "Just...go slow."
He nodded, and slowly pushed himself into her. Dream moaned in pleasure. He was a bit past the tip when he felt himself bump something, causing her to cringe.
How is that possible? I lost it a thousand years ago.. She thought bewildered.
He looked to her, "Do you want me to take my time here or just get it over with?"
"Just....get it over with."
He nodded, gave her a second to breath, and quickly pushed himself down to the hilt. Dream clutched onto him the moment he stopped and kissed him, trying to block out the pain of having her hymen broken for a second time in her life.
He simply layed there, and allowed her to get used to the foreign object within her.
Slowly, she relaxed her grip, and released the kiss, "I'm okay, go ahead."
He slowly started thrusting in and out of her, causing slight moans and squeaks from Dream, and pleasured grunts from himself.
Dream was close, she was really close, "Kaelen, I'm gonna-...." She screamed out in orgasmic pleasure, her inner walls spasming around his member, which was enough to set him off inside of her.
He locked her in a deep kiss as they both rode off the orgasms. She pulled back and looked into his eyes lovingly, "I love you Kaelen."
He smiled and placed a quick kiss on her lips, "I love you to, Dream. So much."
She smiled back and rolled on her side, him slipping out of her in the process, causing her to shudder, "Can we stay like this for a while?"
He rolled over to face her and gave her a kiss, "I'd love to."
She smiled and draped a wing over him, hugging him to her chest tightly.
As they slowly drifted off into a post-coital nap, one thought entered their minds at the same time.
She's/he's mine.....and always will be.
They kissed each other once and fell to the sweet realm of dreams.
Dream's eyes fluttered open, the light was coming into the room at a straight angle, indicating it was around 5 in the afternoon.
She smiled lightly, the view from the house was pleasant.
..Wait...House?...Since when have I owned a hou-.....oh right. It was then that she realized something was hugging her gently.
She lifted her wing, and found Kaelen sleeping quietly, his breathing soft and shallow. She giggled softly, and nuzzled him, causing him to stir with a slight groan.
"Uhhh.....where am I?" He opened his eyes to find a pair of Heavenly Blue orbs staring back at him. He jerked back in shock, the new angle allowing him to see who the orbs belonged to. He smiled, "Morning."
Dream's smile increased a little, she shook her head, "No. Evening."
"Really?" He looked out the window, "....huh....."
"Yeah." She shifted her wings slightly.
".....Oh! Remember the Princesses are coming over...soon. We should get ready." He got up and walked over to his pants.
She tensed up, "Y-Yeah..."
He looked back at her, "Hey...is something wrong?"
She looked at, and saw the concern in his eyes, "Well.....I haven't seen either of them since a thousand years ago when I," she gulped, "When I was fighting on Nightmare Moon's side."
"That was a thousand years ago." He finished putting his pants on and walked over to her, kneeling beside her and rubbing behind her ear lightly, "I'm sure all is forgiven. If they really saw you as a threat, they would've been here the minute Twilight sent that letter."
Dream nodded slowly, "I-I suppose..."
"And..." He continued, "I would be there for you as well." He smiled softly at her.
Her wings fluttered slightly as she smiled back, "Thank you, Kaelen..."
He smiled and nodded.

The sun had just gone down, and Kaelen had just lit the hearth. Feeling a little brave, Dream had slowly climbed onto his lap, which he was more than happy to allow.
So that brings us to now, the two of them, lying together on the couch, simply enjoying each other's company.
Dream's mind however, was still reeling a little from earlier.
Why was I so eager to have sex with him... I've only known him for literally a day and a half. It's not like me... so what was it?
She couldn't think of anything that could've possibly influenced it...
Wait! Oh buck buck buck buck buck... buck! I forgot that I was in my heat this week... first heat I've had in three hundred years and I have sex... Wait, can I even GET pregnant? I think I can... I wouldn't really have a heat if I couldn't get pregnant... So... am I?
She shifted nervously.
I don't know if I want that yet... I mean, I do love him but... to raise a child?... I-I'm not ready for that yet! I-
"Hey, Dream? What's wrong?" Kaelen looked down at her. She looked up at him.
"K-Kaelen... I love you... I-I really do... But, what we did earlier was a mistake..."
"...What do you mean by 'A mistake?'" He asked, a nervous feeling starting to well up inside of him.
"W-Well I just remembered I was going through m-my heat cycle and I kind of....f-forgot until now..." Dream trailed off.
Realization dawned on him, she was worried he might be mad because she only did it because of the heat. Also the pregnancy thing, she might not have wanted a foal, or worse. She wants one.
I love her and all but... a foal?! ...No... not yet anyways. I'm only fifteen...
"W-Well, Dream. If you're worried I'm upset at you for what we did... I'm not, we did move really fast and if you want to slow down it might be a good idea..."
She sighed quietly, "It's not just that. It's the fact that I might be pregnant. I love you, Kaelen, I really do... But... a foal is-"
"Something neither of us are ready for yet." He finished for her.
She smiled softly, "Yeah..."
"Well... I'm not even sure it's possible for me to get you pregnant. I am a completely alien species after all..."
She lifted her head slightly, "I suppose that is true... But, what about in the future? When we're actually ready for a foal? What would we do then?"
He paused for a moment then shrugged, "I don't know, Dream... I'm sure we could think of something though when the time comes... maybe a spell?"
"Maybe... But that's for the future." She decided.
Kaelen nodded, "Yes, the future. Stick with the present for now, because you're in it." He smiled down at her.
She blushed and giggled slightly, "Don't be nice, Kaelen..."
He shook his head lightly, still smiling, "I only tell the truth, Dream…"
She smiled and rested her head under his chin.

Roughly an hour later, after the sun and moon had switched their positions, a knock was heard from the front door. Kaelen looked towards the door with mild confusion as he set down his tea. He wasn't expecting compa- Oh right, the princesses. He glanced at the sleeping form of Dream beside him and shook her lightly, "Dream, wake up, Sweetie. They're here."
Dream raised her head and looked up at him, "H-hmm? Oh… right…" She looked down nervously.
"Hey, hey, it's okay." He kisses her forehead lightly, "We're gonna be okay… okay?"
She looked up at him nervously for a few moments before biting her lip and nodding, she then nuzzled his cheek lightly, "Okay… go let them in."
He nodded and slowly stood up, then made his way to the front door. When he reached the front door he calmly asked, "Who is it?"
The voice from the other side responded, "Princesses Celestia and Luna. We wish to come in."
He took a breath and opened the door wide, motioning his arm to the inside of his house, "Come in then I guess." He then made his way back to the living room, the princesses following behind him. Dream eyed the princesses nervously as they came in but said nothing.
Kaelen took a seat on the loveseat close to Dream while the princesses chose to sit on two of his floor cushions. Celestia was the first to speak, "Hello, Kaelen."
"Hello, Princess." He replied as he picked up his cup of tea again, "Twilight said you both wanted to meet up with us?"
She nodded, "Yes, our meeting concerns the actions that Ms. Weaver had done last night. After hearing it Twilight, I am truly sorry that she lost control like that and turned you."
Kaelen blinked slightly, "Well umm… I would have died if she didn't and well… We're kind of together, so it doesn't really bother me too much…"
"I see…" She said, "However come time you may find immortality to become more of a burden than a gift."
"I know… I've read enough stories about what immortality does to a person. Granted they ARE just stories, however they must have some merit to them."
"They do, I had a time after my sister's banishment when I had gone mad as well for a short period of time." Her ears folded back slightly, "I would… rather not comment on what happened."
Kaelen nodded, "I understand completely, Princess." Celestia smiled softly in thanks at that.
Luna, who had been silent up until now, muttered a question quietly to herself, "where have you been all this time…"
Dream's ears perked slightly as she caught the question, Kaelen's heard it as well but figured it wasn't for him to answer.
Dream swallowed the lump in her throat quickly before answering in a slightly quivering voice, "I-I travelled to different large cities all over Equestria, leaving whenever the guard started to show up, regardless of why. Lately though, there have been no guards so I tried moving to a quiet town… here."
"I see…" Luna said slowly, still watching Dream intently, "…why?"
"W-well after what I did I-I didn't think th-"
Celestia held up a hoof, a calm smile on her face, "Hush now my little pony… All is forgiven."
Her jaw dropped slightly, even more so as Luna added her own nod of approval, "Yes… that was all a long time ago."
Dream was still in shock, but she managed to work a reply out of her stunned mind, "T-thank you…"
Celestia nodded, "You're welcome."
Kaelen leaned close to Dream and whispered to her, "Told you they wouldn't be upset."
She blushed slightly and returned in her own whisper, "S-shut up…"
He chuckled softly and took a sip of his tea, "So, princesses? I'm sure that there is a second reason for both of you making a personal visit besides Dream and what happened last night, correct?"
Celestia smiles and rolls her eyes a touch, "Your skills of assumption get me every time, Kaelen. Yes, there is another reason." She glanced at Luna for a moment, "My sister and I were wondering if we could…. Seek shelter in your home for a while."
He raised an eyebrow, "….Why~?"
Luna looked at him, "Perhaps my sister did not explain herself too well, so I suppose I shall explain myself. Me and my sister wish to interact with our subjects in a non-formal way. Such a feat is impossible anywhere but here. Since it is a small enough town to be overlooked by any who demand our attention, yet it is still close enough to Canterlot for us to give commands in case of emergencies. So, here we are."
"Ah… wouldn't the ponies here recognize you though?"
Celestia spoke up again, "Alicorns shed their forms every so often, a simple dose of magic and we slip our old forms on like a second skin."
"Ah, so you two are going to disguise yourselves as common ponies, got it."
Luna nodded and looked at me with a hopeful smile, "So now that you know, can we stay?"
"Well…" He glanced at Dream, who after a moments shrugged and gave a small nod of approval, he looked back at them, "Okay. You can stay… So long as you're not expecting me to pay for your needs, I'm barely managing myself here as it is."
Celestia nods, "I completely understand, my sister and I will both pay you a daily allowance to support us."
He nodded again, "Perfect. Thank you."
"No," Luna said, "Thank you, Kaelen."
"Truly," Celestia continued, "this means more to us than you could imagine."
Why do I get the feeling these two have a second reason besides observing their subjects without them knowing… "Well, I can't imagine why it's so important to you both, but I won't pry." He smiled softly.
Both of the princesses bodies relaxed slightly.
Must be really important. He thought to himself, "Well... I don't really have any supper ready at the moment, but I could always make some if you'd like."
Luna shook her head, "Food is not necessary, and we do not wish to be a burden on you. So we will forgo food tonight, Kaelen." She smiled softly at him.
Kaelen sighed softly in relief, "Good, I'm not the world's best chef anyways."
Celestia giggled softly, "I can cook every now and then if you desire food. I happen to be a great chef."
"Really?"
She nodded and Luna answered for her, "'Tis true. Sister would often cook for me when we were young. Sadly though the chefs don't like her working in the kitchen in these modern times."
Celestia sighed, "Yes, it is something I miss."
Kaelen smiled softly, "Well my kitchen is always open to you, Princess."
Her smile widened slightly, "Thank you, Kaelen."
He nodded and took another sip of his tea, "So I suppose it's bedtime."
"Ah yes," Celestia stood up, "I shall head to bed, is your room the same one you had when I first came down to see how you settled in?"
He nodded and she continued, "Then I shall head to one of the spares. Goodnight."
The three immortals of the night gave her their own wishes of wellbeing, she then trotted upstairs.
"So," Kaelen began, "Are we going to talk for a while before heading to bed?"
Luna though for a moment before smiling, "Actually, how about Dream and I show you the world of the night? Assuming Ms. Weaver is up to it."
She smiled happily and nodded, "I'd love to!" She the stood up, "Come on, Kaelen."
He chuckled softly and stood up, "Alright, alright, I'm up."
Luna stood up and headed for the door, "Then let us go."
Dream and Kaelen both nodded and followed the Alicorn of the night as she left the house.
