My return

“I’m so sorry.” Vectra said looking at a severely injured Rainbow Dash.

“At least you tried.” Dash said weakly before turning her head away to look at Time Lake.

“I couldn’t have prevented this.” Kindo said as he rose from the center of the lake.

“You didn’t even try!” Vectra yelled at him as she trotted over to him.

“This is a fixed point in time, this happens this always happens.” Kindo said trying to be strong. “I’m sorry Dashie; I did try to prevent this fixed point.” Kindo said as he started to cry.

“How do you prevent a fixed point?” Vectra asked wanting to undo this.

“Don’t make me answer that.” Kindo said almost completely breaking down.

“Why not! Tell me!” Vectra demanded but Kindo was just staring at his daughter.

“The first time we met.” Kindo answered dryly giving her a quick glance but remaining focused on Dash.

“Goodbye Daddy and tell Soarin I love him.” Dash said knowing she didn’t have much time left.

“I love you and I will never forget you.” Kindo said finally breaking down.

Vectra was watching them say goodbye and Kindo completely breaking down, it looked like he couldn’t move. ‘The first time I met him!’ Vectra thought as she realized this was the fixed point that was created and Kindo did try and stop it. He tried very hard to stop this; he had warned Spitfire with a letter, talked to the Princesses and the EoH itself, even gathered information from every corner of creation.

Dash finally stopped breathing and Kindo perked up from an idea that he had. Kindo took Dash over to Time Lake and gently placed her at the edge of the water allowing her hoof to touch the water. Kindo walked into the center of Time Lake and Vectra realized what he was doing.

“Don’t do it!” she yelled trying to stop him but she ran into a barrier stopping her from interfering.

“How old are you now Vectra?” Kindo said in his usual tone.

“I am one hundred and eight. Why?” Vectra asked unsure of what he was getting at.

“You don’t even know me that well then. This is only our third meeting.” Kindo said almost asking.

“This is the third time alright but I know you well enough to know that I would like to see you again.”

“I’m twelve thousand six hundred and twenty one, if you want to see me again go to Canterlot in the year 890 DC that is when I met you. Now go I don’t want you to see this.” Kindo finished just as a blue light surrounded him and his daughter.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin were standing on a cloud near Canterlot Castle and Soarin was looking very nervous. Dash was getting impatient with Soarin because he hasn’t done or said anything in about a half hour but she knew he was going to do something… eventually.

Mustering all of his courage Soarin finally asked “Rainbow Miriam Dashery will you marry me?” as he said that he pulled out a deep red box and opened it to reveal a silver band with a diamond in the center.

Dash was a little stunned but completely overjoyed. “Yes Soarin of course I’ll marry you.” She said trying to remain calm and turning so he could put the ring on her wing.

As soon as Soarin put the ring on Dash’s left wing she whirred around and gave him a long deep kiss. They didn’t know that they were being watched by somepony but the pony that was watching had seen all he needed to. Satisfied with seeing their engagement again Kindo left for a very important day, the day she died. Kindo couldn’t stop her death but there was still a chance to save her.

“One last stop…” Kindo said to himself as he flew through the time vortex and exited about six months later.

He arrived in Canterlot gardens and it had all the bells and whistles for a wedding. Rarity had done the dresses and decorated, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and the Cakes made the food, Fluttershy made the music, and Twilight had organized and had a few fireworks planned for later.

There were quite a few ponies in attendance, even he although he was a lot younger back then. If this was going to be the last thing he saw then he was happy to attend again. The wedding went by fairly quickly and Kindo knew if he stuck around too long he would find himself. Kindo wished he could attend his funeral but with there being so many versions of himself all throughout history it would be too dangerous.

It was finally time for him to make his most dangerous journey yet so he used his oldest way of time travel. Kindo flew to Time Lake where the barrier was weakest and walked into the center to activate his magic and make his last journey through time. When he arrived he saw his daughter looking at him like he should have done something.

After Vectra left Kindo began the transference ceremony, he was going to use the EoH to literally rip out his life force. As soon as his life force was out he was going to give it to his daughter, every last drop just in case. Dash had died so this shouldn’t rip the world apart and somepony will die today so it should be happy anyway.

It hurt immensely as expected and he was slowly dying from the process but he could see her colors becoming bright again. Dash’s chest started to slowly rise and fall and with each passing minute he could see her heartbeat return to normal. Kindo had done his job but he didn’t have enough life force to survive so he used the EoH energy to scatter his atoms though time and space.

It was time for the Grand Galloping Gala and everypony was excited about it, well everypony that was going. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had arrived a few minutes before the Gala started and watched everypony that came in. The first to arrive was Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor followed by Princess Twilight Sparkle. Shortly after the Gala started the Elements of Harmony arrived with their coltfriends, Rainbow Dash and Soarin, Rarity and Fancypants, Pinkie Pie and Pokey, Applejack and Caramel, and finally Fluttershy and Big Mac.

The Gala was now in full swing and everypony was inside when a few royal guards blew trumpets as two ponies came in, the mare had a deep red mane, light blue coat, and light green eyes and the stallion had a red  crown covering his mane, black coat with a red fur cape, and blue eyes.

“Announcing the arrival of Queen Vectra and King Kindo.” One of the guards said professionally.
