My return

In the cloud city of Atlantis around three thousand years ago a crowd has gathered to discuss if they should harness the untold powers of a meteor that fell only a few months ago.

“Are you sure about this?” A pegasus asked but he couldn’t see witch one.

“Absolutely not but it is our best chance of harnessing the power.” Kindo said looking around.

“That meteor is generating enough power to destroy Equestria.” Another pegasus said.

“Yes it is but trust me we have to try. The power inside could help us prevail.” Kindo answered still looking around.

Kindo was flying over Equestria, what will be Equestria, thinking about his new friend. She bothered him so much but right now he was going to see his father. He landed on a cloud city and approached his father a black coated pegasus with a light blue mane.

“Commander Hurricane” Kindo said looking over his soon-to-be father.

“Yes what is it?” he said as he turned around. “Ah. Kindo. Good to see you again.

“You too sir, How have you been?” Kindo asked not sure if his good friend knows who he is yet.

“Pretty good my wife is going to have a foal soon.” Hurricane stated proudly.

“How far along is she?” Kindo asked joyfully.

“About seven months.” Hurricane answered.

“Have you chosen a name for it yet?” Kindo asked trying to figure out when he is.

“Yes we have if it’s a filly her name will be Jocelyn Miriam. If it’s a colt his name will be Kenneth Nathan.” Hurricane said proudly.

“Not even born yet and you’re already proud of it.” Kindo said smugly.

“Tell me old friend will my child be remembered?” Hurricane asked a little worried about his unborn foal.

“Remembered? Future ruler of a land that will be founded in a couple of months, saved this planet a couple of times, created the most powerful weapon in existence, and a proud parent as well. No not really.” Kindo answered jokingly.

After visiting his father, Kindo decided to go and see his daughter but on his way through the vortex he noticed time shifting. Time shifts only happen when time is being rewritten so he had to investigate and he found himself in Canterlot. Nothing seemed unusual but this is definitely the right point in time when time began shifting so he explored some more.

After a few hours he found out that the date is April 12, in the year 60, meaning sixty years ago is when Equestria was founded, he knew what was going on. This is the day he blew up the cloud city of Atlantis and his first day of time travel. It is an extremely important day but if time is shifting that means he might not do it and he would disappear from existence.

Kindo flew to the cloud city of Atlantis and found a group of ponies trying to stop his experiments.

Soarin had spent the last two months with Rainbow Dash barely leaving her side the entire time but it is almost time for him to return to the Wonderbolts. In the two months he had been there they had gone on about twenty date and each one went better than the last. Today however would be his last day with her for quite a while so Soarin was going to make it special.

They had finished eating breakfast and now they were heading off to visit her friends their first stop was Fluttershy. When they arrived they noticed that Fluttershy wasn’t home but before they left they heard her nearby probably feeding some animals. After venturing around for a little bit they found her with her coltfriend Big Macintosh feeding some bunnies.

“Hello Fluttershy. Hey Big Mac. What have you two been up to?” Soarin asked when they were within sight.

“Not much really just the usual. How have you two been?” Fluttershy said in a low voice.

“We’ve been doing great and he has been quite the gentlecolt…” Dash said and Soarin snickered a bit at her saying he was a gentlecolt. “Well when he wants to be.” Dash finished while glaring at Soarin

“That was an involuntary snicker of uhhh…fondness and appreciation.” Soarin said in his defense.

The other three laughed at this before Dash said “Well I guess I can let you off the hook, this time.”

Soarin looked at Dash before giving her a quick kiss and saying “Thanks Dear.”

“Now you’re in trouble.” Dash said as serious as possible that got Soarin to give a nervous laugh before she kissed him. Remembering Fluttershy and Big Mac were there made Dash blush a little.

After their visit with Fluttershy they went to see Applejack since she was closest. When they arrived on the farm Applebloom told them Applejack was in the East Orchard so they took off. From above they could see Applejack and Caramel so they landed and walked up to them. They talked for about an hour before Applejack and Caramel had to get ready for their date tonight.

They had visited Rarity next and stopped for lunch before they went to see Pinkie Pie witch was as always an interesting visit. They visited Twilight last because she broke up with her coltfriend Time Turner and they knew it would be a long visit.

There was black smoke coming from something that had just appeared out of nowhere in the sky. Kindo knew exactly what was going on because he was the one that appeared out of nowhere. He had gotten hit with pure time energy it looks like lightning in the vortex but it always hurt a lot and threw him out of the time vortex itself.

Plummeting at nearly mach five Kindo had to level out otherwise he would hit the ground and be in even more pain. When he tried to level out though he noticed the time energy had obliterated his left wing. With only one wing Kindo used sky magic to put force between him and the ground by wrapping air around his hooves. It was a technique he created by altering his walk on air magic and it worked this time.

Drained of energy and a majority of his magic Kindo landed on the ground and had to wait until his body could repair itself. If he had the magic to repair himself he would have, the magic hurts a lot more than the pain but after an hour his body was always one hundred percent. Kindo went to sleep to recover his magic but was awoken by his bones snapping back into place by the same magic he had learned about five thousand years ago.

After his last bone snapped back into place he passed out and remembered when he had learned the magic that had helped him.

After falling from the time vortex in the year 5000 BC and Kindo wasn’t too happy about all of his injuries. He had passed out from the pain before waking up in even more pain and passing out again. After about a day’s sleep Kindo woke up again but this time there was no pain.

“Slept for quite a long time sir.” A mare with a light red coat and a darker red mane said as he woke up.

“How long was I out?” Kindo asked groggily surprised he wasn’t in pain anymore.

“About a day how’s you’re pain?” she asked

“It’s like it was a dream. How did I heal so quickly?” Kindo asked still confused.

“A new technique that most ponies consider dark magic.” She answered looking distressed.

“Why is it considered dark magic?” Kindo asked but from the look she gave him he figured it out.

“It takes life force.” He answered himself flatly.

“Yes it does do you want me to show you?” she asked knowing his answer from the determination in his eyes.

“Yes I do but why would you?” Kindo asked ready to learn but still confused.

“I have a feeling you will do great things and it will come in handy.”

Kindo woke up and looked around seeing nopony but all of his wounds where healed. He just laid there for a while thinking about the only other pony that could know that technique in this time period. The sky healer technique was considered black magic and was banished from Equestria even before it was founded. The only ponies that could still do it were himself and possibly even Vectra.

Soarin was back at the Wonderbolts HQ getting ready for his first day back but something didn’t seem quite right. Spitfire seemed depressed and Kindo seemed to be in pain but the other ‘bolts didn’t say anything and they seemed a bit down as well. Even though the Wonderbolts didn’t have to stay during to off season most of them did because the HQ was home to them.

Soarin continued about his day as usual but nothing seemed the same and for some reason he felt like he was forgetting something. Spitfire wasn’t there for most of the day but after the off season she would be training potential Wonderbolts at the Academy. Then he remembered that Dash would be at the Wonderbolts Academy this year.

Soarin tried not to think about his marefriend because he knew that if he did he would want to see her and it would also throw off his concentration. Thinking about her at the Academy made him very happy because she had the skills to get in and if she was a Wonderbolt then they could see each other more. After supper Soarin finally had enough with not knowing what was so sad so he went to see the Commander.

“Commander Kindo.” Soarin said with a salute as the Commander walked by.

“Yes Co-captain Soarin. What is it?” Kindo asked flatly.

“Why is everypony so sad?” Soarin asked hoping to finally figure everything out.

“Rainbow Dash was accepted into the Academy.” Kindo answered making Soarin confused.

“That should be good news; she is a very talented flier.” Soarin asked a little put off.

“It would be but according to the Wonderbolts rules she can’t be a Wonderbolt.” Kindo answered in a broken voice as he started to tear up.

“Can’t you do anything Commander?” Soarin asked with hope in his voice but he was obviously distraught.

“I don’t know but I’m going to try.” Kindo answered with renewed hope in his voice as he thought of a possible solution.
