You bury your head in your hands, shaking your head. 'Surely there's another way.' Your voice is weak. You knew something was wrong with Luna, but you would have never expected it to be this bad. Hearing Celestia say it took away all your energy.

'As I have already said, I have no other options. Perhaps you can fix it however.' Celestia shrugs, and you can see her trying to be brave.

You finally think of something that may help. 'Celestia, when is Nightmare Night?'

'It is in 3 days, why?' Celestia looks puzzled by your inquiry.

'That should give me enough time. You want to see your sister happy and well, yes?' Celestia nods, and you smile. 'Good. Then I'm sure you can spare some bits to see that happen?'

Celestia frowns. 'I am a princess, of course I can spare some money. Time however, I cannot give you much. You have until 1 day before Nightmare Night for your plan. I do hope it works.' Celestia nods at a guard, who runs off hastily.

You smile. 'Thank you. Then, I need you to send a letter to Luna. Tell her she is to meet me in town 3 days from now, at exactly 6:00 in the evening. Tell her, under no circumstances, is she to leave the castle before then. I will be staying in an inn, or motel, for the time being.'

Celestia stares at you in thought. 'You've always been a clever one. I suspect this plan is as good as the others..'

You frown slightly. 'It's the only one I can think of.' A guard comes rushing back into the room, 5 large pouches of bits in his hands.

'A total of 1,000 bits, princess.' Celestia nods her thanks to the guard, before handing the pouches to you.

'I'll see you soon. Good luck.' Celestia gives you a hug, before escorting you out of the castle. Aurora Boreallis is standing patiently by the door, whistling a tune to himself.

'Where to, boss? Back to Luna's castle?' Aurora pushes himself off of the wall, stretching as he does. You shake your head.

'Just in to town thanks.'

He nods, and closes his eyes in concentration. You are surrounded by his magic, and brace yourself for take-off. It does not help much, and you still feel the rattling of your teeth as you surge upwards. Aurora slows his ascent, and your body stops rattling.

'You alright down there?' Aurora's voice comes from above.

'Fine. It's a bloody rough take-off!' Your voice fights with the wind, but Aurora hears you anyways.

'That's the bad part of being the fastest flyer in Equis. I don't get many willing passengers!' Aurora laughs. You smile. This has got to work. For Luna.

__________________________

After about 20 minutes of turbulence, you reach ponyville. Aurora lands with a loud "thud", however your landing is much softer. You extend a hand, and Aurora pulls himself up. 'Thanks' He brushes dirt off of his clothes.

'No problem. Thanks for the ride.' You extend your hand for a shake, but Aurora slaps it. You grin, and he takes off in the direction of the castle. The same colours spew from behind him as he flies, dancing in the sky. You take one moment to look at the beauty of it all, and then turn away.

You wander around the town, looking at various shops and stalls along the way. You stop by a busy cafe, and smile. This is perfect. You look around at the frenzy of waiters and waitresses bringing coffee, muffins, and a variety of biscuits to the busy customers. You make your way over to a table of 5 mares, and sit yourself down.

You smile at a waiter. 'A cappuccino and the bill please.' The waiter nods, hurrying off behind the bar. The mares exchange glances, and smile at you nervously. One of them, a turquoise mare with mint colored hair, speaks up.

'Sorry, but we all have our special some-ponies already.' Her comment makes you burst out laughing, and they exchange awkward glances. You stop laughing, but your grin remains plastered on your face.

'So do I. And that's what I'm here to talk about.' You smile at them, and you thank the waiter as he brings your coffee. You smile, taking a sip of the warm liquid. You continue. 'You may have heard about Princess Luna's, outburst, the other day.' They nod their agreement.

'Well, I am her, "special some-pony" as you would say. Celestia summoned me. Anyway, I need your help. Luna's been acting weird lately, and I know why. Princess Celestia has ordered Luna's execution.' You frown slightly, and they all gasp.

'Oh, I'm so sorry.' They all say. You wave your hand, dismissing the matter.

'But I'm gonna change that. You see, she's simply forgotten what it's like to have a friend, someone who she can talk to in times of need.' They correct you, telling you it is "some-pony" but you pay no attention to it. 'I need your help, to make her remember. Make her finally warm up to the public. I'm sure you're wondering what I'm trying to get at here. Basically, I'm holding an event to help her reintegrate into society, and I need ponies to show up.

'Can I count on you guys to be there? It's just something to show her what friends mean. That she doesn't have to be afraid.' Your voice comes out choked, and you wipe your eyes. My god I'm about to cry. They exchange glances, a few of them crying.

The turquoise coloured mare speaks again. 'I'm in.' The others nod their agreement.

You smile. 'Thank you. Just come meet me in town at 6:00 in 3 days.' The waiter brings the bill, 10 bits for the meal. You fish some bits out of the pouches and hand it to him. You stand up, thanking the mares as you make your way along.

You keep walking around the town, stopping the odd pony to inform them of your plan. You stop by an inn, and walk inside. 'Excuse me. Have you got a room for one that's available?' You ready your bit pouch.

'We have a single room available for just one night, and it will cost 50 bits. Breakfast included.' The mare behind the counter smiles at you. You fish the money out of your pouch, and she hands you a key. '4th room on the right.' You nod, and make your way to the room.

You place the key in the lock, pushing the door open. You drop onto the bed, sighing loudly. You open the door to the bathroom, stripping yourself down. You twist the shower handle, and the water streams down. Your thoughts return to Luna, and you worry for your mare-friend.

You finish off your shower, and you lie down on your bed. You replay the events of your journey in Equis, from meeting Celestia, to nearly choking on the moon, to meeting Aurora. You've come so far, in fact, your past life was crap anyway.

As your eyes start to tire, you dream of your future. How life will be without Luna, if it comes to that. You push that image out of your mind. How life will be with Luna. That's better. Can humans have children with ponies? I mean, we're not that different considering these ponies are a different kind altogether.

Questions, and fears, cloud your mind as you sleep.

__________________________

You wake up, planting your feet on the floor. You push off of the bed, using your arms to boost yourself. You reach for your pants, and realise you have a massive hard-on. Jesus, did I have a wet dream? You slide your hands over the bed, and you find the evidence.

There is a small damp spot of your fluids, and you curse. You decide it best to clean up your mess. Grabbing a small bucket of water and an old toothbrush, you get to work. Scrubbing away your juices was no problem, but now you had to dry it. Grabbing a cordless hairdryer, you start to evaporate all the water.

You hurriedly leave the room, rather embarrassed. You stop by the dining hall, grabbing some muesli before exiting the inn. You squint as the sun's rays shine bright in your eyes, and shake your head. Right, a stage. I need a stage. You go around town, trying to find a shop for building materials. You find one after some time, and walk inside.

'Hello? Service please.' You ring the bell, and no-one answers. 'Any-pony here?' You take a look around the shop, and still no-one comes. Eventually a pony dashes out of a store-room, answering your call.

'Terribly sorry good fellow, got myself in a little mess there. What can I help you with?' He re-adjusts the hat on his head.

'Yeah, do you have any wooden planks?' You look around the room, and see none. Maybe they're in the store-room?

The pony shakes his head. 'I'm afraid not son. Ran out just the other day.'

You sigh. 'Nails?'

'Nope.'

'Hammers.'

'Uh-uh.'

'Chairs!?'

'Not a single one.'

You groan, face-palming loudly. The shop-pony smiles apologetically. 'If it's any consent, I know somewhere you can get these. Head down to Sweet Apple Acres, they can probably give you most of those.' Your expression brightens, and you thank the stallion.

You follow his directions, heading down towards the town square. Turn right, and down the path take a left. After about 300 meters, you find the entrance to Sweet Apple Acres. You fold up the sheet containing the directions, slipping it into your pockets.

You stroll up the path, whistling an old tune that you learnt when you were in Earth. You pick up an apple from the ground, wiping the dust off of it. You take a bite into it, the juices exploding into your mouth. No wonder they call it Sweet Apple Acres!

'Can 'ah help yah?' You jump back in shock, turning to see where the voice came from. It comes again. 'Over here, sugar-cube.' An orange mare steps out from behind a tree.

You fumble with the apple, nearly dropping it. 'Uh, sorry. I'll pay for it if you want.'

The mare smiles at you. 'Not a problem. Ah think you were enjoying it.' You take another bite, and she laughs. 'The names Applejack.' You smile, and introduce yourself.

'I came her for something in particular. I need some materials, wooden planks.'

'You came to the right place. We gat plenty of building materials, if that's what yer looking fer.' She gestures up to a large red barn. 'Ah'd be happy ta let you take a look.'

You make your way up the path, talking to Applejack along the way. 'So what do you need these planks fer anyway?'

You sigh, memories flooding black into your mind. 'I was summoned into Equis by Celestia. As a present for Luna, so that she could be happy. But now, she's acting, well, just weird. And apparently it has something to do with Nightmare Night.' You take a deep breath, your breathing ragged. You continue explaining your dilemma to Applejack. 'So I'm building a stage. It's like an intervention. I have no idea if it will work, but I'm all out of options.'

You look over at Applejack, and lock eyes. She is staring at you, a sad, bewildered expression on her face. You realize this is because you are crying. You sniff, wiping a tear away. You take deep breaths, trying to calm yourself down. Applejack wraps her arms around you, patting your back gently.

'Hey, it's alright honey. Everything's gonna be fine.' Her tone is soft, like a mother comforting her child. 'Yall gone do just fine with her.' You straighten yourself up, blinking away the tears. You suddenly feel emotionally exhausted, and you struggle to catch your breath.

You carry on up the path, and open the door to the barn. Applejack grins, flicking a light switch. You whistle at the contents of the barn. Everywhere you look there are piles of wooden planks, paint cans, and an array of building tools. You sort through the contents of the barn, grabbing nails and hammers.

You dump all your purchases into a large cart, and take out your bit pouch. 'How much for all this?' You turn to Applejack.

'Ah reckon it's about 100 bits fer all that.' You pay her the correct amount and head off, but she calls you back. 'Wait! Yall gonna build it by yourself?'

You raise an eyebrow. 'Unless you got other ideas?'

Applejack smiles. 'Tell you what. Ah'll go get mah sis' and we can give you a hand.' You return the smile. Applejack runs off, and you wait patiently outside.

__________________________

After you had finished up at the barn, Applejack got her sister, Applebloom, and the three of you headed off to town. You had all been working on the stage for a couple of hours, and most of it had been finished by now. The stage consisted of an elevated platform, with 2 chairs in the centre, and a row of seats at the front.

You bring your hammer up, and slam it back down. The nail embeds itself in the wood, and you sigh. The sun shines down, with no shade to block its heat. You take a sip of your cider, and sigh. Its refreshing taste gives you more energy. 'Hey, Applejack. Pass me a nail will you?' You reach out, opening your hand.

You wipe the sweat off of your brow, taking the nail from Applejack. You nod your thanks, and place it down on the wood. Nailing it into place, you yawn. Your eyes start to close, and you shake your head. You start to feel very drowsy, and you fall to your knees.

'Hey. Sugarcube, yall feeling alright?' You hear Applejack's voice, but it sounds very distant. You open your mouth to reply, but nothing comes out. Your eyes close, and you go limp.

__________________________

You open your eyes, and see nothing. 'Hello? Anyone there?' You hear a voice come from the darkness.

'Over here.' The voice is feminine. It speaks with a soft, sweet tone.

'Who are you?' You whip your head round, trying to find the source of the voice.

'Cold.' You roll your eyes.

'I'm not playing hot and cold with a voice from nowhere.'

'Give it a try! Come on.' You sigh, taking a step forward.

'Warmer. Warmer. Hot, hot!'

'Right. I won. Now, what's my prize.' You fold your arms, waiting for a response.

You hear a shuffling from behind you, and an arm touches you on the shoulder. You spin around, and feel a pair of lips press against yours. You make eye contact with Luna, who's eyes are staring at you lustfully.

You push away from her. 'Not that I wasn't enjoying that, but where the hell are we?'

Luna laughs. 'We're in your dream-zone.' You raise your eyebrow, and Luna groans. 'Your dream-zone. It's where you have all your dreams and where I can communicate to you.'

'How do you, I mean, this is, you can, how?' You shake your head, clearing your thoughts. You take a deep breath, and start again. 'How are you able to access my mind and dream-zone?'

Luna rolls her eyes. 'Princess of the moon. Ruler of the night! What happens during the night-time? You dream. What am I? The ruler of the night. Therefore, I rule your dreams! Well, I can access them, and alter them.'

Your brain hurts from all this information. 'I can't think straight.'

Luna smiles at you, placing her arms around your shoulders. 'Then don't think. Just..... feel.'

Luna dives in for a kiss, and you lock lips with her. She opens her mouth, and your tongue slides in. You explore every inch of her mouth, and she moans into yours. You move your arms to her hips, running your hands along her soft fur. You rub Luna's back, causing her to shiver with pleasure.

You continue your trajectory, your hand sliding up her back and to her mane. Twirling the silky hair in your fingers, you tug lightly. Luna moans, and you continue to massage her hair. You open your eyes, and Luna opens hers. She breaks the kiss, licking her lips. She leans forward, and whispers in your ear. 'Don't worry. We'll finish up later.' Luna smiles sweetly.

'Now, the real reason I came.' She snaps her fingers, and a sofa appears in the darkness. She beckons you towards it. 'Come on, sit down.' You take a seat next to her, and she snuggles up in your arm.

'I missed you a lot, you know?' Luna looks up at you.

'I know. I missed you too.'

'So how was your meeting with Celestia?'

You frown slightly. 'Could have gone better.'

Luna looks up at you. 'How so?'

'......'

'Well?'

You sigh. 'I really want to tell you Luna. But I think it would make things worse. You just gotta trust me.'

Luna huffs, pouting. You smile, and squeeze her tighter. 'She's sending me back to the moon, isn't she?'

You freeze for a second, realising now you must tell her. 'It's worse than that.'

Luna looks up at you, a single tear forming in the corner of you. You both sit in awkward silence, until Luna speaks. 'It's execution, isn't it?'

Luna buries her head in your arm, sobbing loudly now. You hold her steady, trying to comfort her. With every sob her body shakes, but you hold her still. After a few minutes, she looks up at you. She sniffs, wiping a tear away from her eye. 'I'm so sorry. I know something's happening, but I don't know how to stop it.'

'Hey Luna, it's okay. It's alright.' You smile at her, but still she sobs.

She looks up at you with big, round eyes. 'No, it's not okay. I was worried when you came to the moon, I, I didn't think it was time. I was scared, worried, that if I was brought back, something bad would happen. And it has! It's happening right now! I can't control it! I just don't know
Ever since we got back, I've been having dreams. Of me, but it's not me! It's her! Nightmare Moon. And, and I see her in the mirror, and she just, she just seems to take control of me! I'm so sorry! I should have known, should have stayed on the moon. I deserve whatever's coming to me!' Luna breaks down again, tears pouring down her face.

You pull her in tight, and she gasps. 'Luna, please. This isn't your fault. It's not your fault.'

She looks up at you again, sniffing. 'It's, it's not?'

You wipe a tear away from her eye. 'Of course not. Don't worry, we'll get through this together. Whatever happens.'

'You won't leave me? I'm more trouble than I'm worth you know!'

'Don't say that Luna. I'll be with you until the end.'

Luna looks up at you, and smiles. A weak one, but still a smile. 'Till the end.' She echoes your words, and snuggles up with you tighter. You hold her there, rocking her back and forth. Minutes pass. Hours, even, you have no clue how long it is. Luna stands up.

'Thank you. I'll see you tonight.' Luna smiles at you, kissing you on the cheek.

You watch as she leaves, and suddenly your head starts to spin.

__________________________

'Hey. Sugarcube! You alright?' You can hear Applejack's voice, and you open your eyes. 'Oh thank Celestia. Ah thought you were dead.'

You get up, still slightly dizzy. 'How long was I out for?'

'Only fer a few minutes. What happened?' Applejack inquires.

You rub your head, which is thumping. 'Oh, Luna just wanted to talk. Something about dream-walking and stuff.' Applejack raises and eyebrow. You groan once more, the thumping now starting to wear off. 'It's, uh, she can see dreams, and alter them. Sorry, AJ, my head is killing me!'

Applejack smiles. 'Well, if you wanna take a break, just let me know, and Ah'll get you a drink.' You smile back at her.

'It's fine, really. Let's just get this stage done.' You get back to your work, nailing wooden planks to the ground, setting up chairs, and so on.

After a few hours, you finally finish the stage. You stand back, admiring your work. The stage consists of a large wooden platform, raised 1 meter off the ground. Purple curtains drape down from both sides, forming a sort of backdrop. Two chairs sit on the stage, one for you and one for Luna.

In front of the stage sit 4 rows of chairs, where everyone, correction, everypony, would sit. Applejack stands next to you, and Applebloom runs to her side. Applejack places her hand on Applebloom's head, and ruffles it. She giggles, squirming out of Applejack's grasp.

You smile, turning round to face the sisters. You extend your arm, and open your hand. 'Thank you. For everything. I appreciate it.' Applejack takes your hand in hers, a firm, strong, yet not painful, grip.

She smiles, a massive grin that spreads across her face, from ear to ear. 'Not a problem, I had fun, actually.' You hug her, and move over to Applebloom. You squat down, coming face to face with the filly.

You smile at her. 'Thanks for the help, you worked hard.' Applebloom smiles, and brings you in for a hug. She laughs, squeezing you tighter. You let her go, standing up. 'Again. I can't tell you how much it means to me.'

Applejack smiles, and places her arm around Applebloom's shoulder. They head off in the direction of sweet apple acres, Applebloom waving madly as they walk back to their home. You smile at them, and check your watch. 4.30. Still got some time.

You make your way along town, and sit yourself down at a cafe. You order a coffee, to keep yourself awake. The dark, strong liquid leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, but one that you have become accustomed to. You finish up, tipping the waiter some bits, and head off. Back in the direction of the stage.

You arrive there, and take a seat. You wait for Luna's arrival, constantly worrying about the next few hours.

____________________________

You smile as you see Luna's figure appear out from behind a tree. She is wearing a long gown, which matches the colour of her fur. On her head rests a small crown, decorated with rubies and emeralds. Her long mane flows out from behind her, shining brightly in the now darkening sky.

She smiles at you, beaming from ear to ear. She takes a step towards you, then another. You can't contain your excitement, and you run to Luna. You reach within a few steps, and embrace her. Squeezing her tightly, you laugh with happiness. Luna laughs with you, squeezing you back.

You place your hands on her cheeks, kissing her forehead, then her nose, then her lips. Luna giggles, twisting away from you. You pull her back, stroking her hair. She sighs. 'It's so great to see you.'

You smile at her, taking her hand in yours. 'And it's great to see you.' You kiss her hand, going down on one knee. 'M'lady'

Luna giggles, blushing ever so slightly. She looks around, taking her hand away from you. She scans her surroundings, her eyes darting around. She seems nervous. Luna looks down at her feet, and shuffles them. You walk up to her, linking your arm through hers.

'It's gonna be fine Luna. You just need to calm down. Be yourse.....' You trail off as you realise. Being herself means Nightmare Moon. You force a smile. 'Be cheerful.'

Luna smiles nervously. 'I will. But.' Again Luna looks at the ground. 'If it fails. If it doesn't work.'

You cut Luna off, silencing her. You take her chin in between your index finger and thumb, pulling her head towards you. 'It will. You have to stay positive Luna. Otherwise Nightmare Moon is gonna take over, and then we're both screwed.' You kiss her on the cheek. 'It's gonna be okay.'

Luna smiles weakly. You take her hand, and lead her towards the stage. A busy crowd of ponies are already shuffling into seats, pushing and shoving to get to one. Luna peers out from the curtain, makes a small "eep" sound, and brings her head back. 'What is this, exactly?'

You raise a finger, and open your mouth to answer. 'It's a.....' Your finger droops, and you close your mouth. You stroke your chin briefly, clicking your tongue. 'I, I don't actually know.' You laugh, despite the situation. 'I thought it would be like some sort of intervention but......'

But what? You didn't think it through. You rushed in head first to save your girlfriend, without even knowing what it was all about. Great job, jackass. You mentally kick yourself. 'I dont know. Just, do stuff they want you to, answer questions, and remember.' You place your fingers on your mouth, and pull it apart in a grin. 'Smile.'

Luna smiles. 'Good.' You kiss her forehead, and lead her up on stage. Multiple ponies cheer, others mutter, and others simply stare in awe. The noise dies down, and you smile at Luna. She stands up. 'Hello everyone. As you may know, my name is Princess Luna. This is my partner.' She gestures towards you.

You grin at her formality. Partner The word makes you smile. She may be a Princess, but you never expected such formality. You raise you hand, a "hello" gesture to the crowd. Luna continues. 'You may have heard of my outburst the other day. I am deeply sorry to those I offended. It was not my intention.
I am here today to apologise to you all. I cannot explain how I feel. It is hard to control my temper. Nightmare Night is approaching, and Nightmare Moon, I fear, may return.' A gasp runs through the crowd. People mutter, and you overhear certain conversations. "She should be locked up" "What will we do?" "Shh baby don't worry".

Luna obviously hears it as well, and her expression saddens. She bites her lower lip, in what you guess as an attempt to calm herself. You stand up, and walk towards her. You take her arm, and bring her back to her seat. 'Don't lose your cool Luna. You'll blow it.'

She sighs, fidgeting in her chair. The muttering continues, but is less audible. You wait a while longer, and soon the muttering has died down. A small colt stands up, and you recognise it as the one from town the other day. It's ball is patched back up, the bits of rubber stuck together in an attempt to fix it.

He pushes his arms forward, handing the ball to Luna. 'Can you sign my ball Princess Luna?' The colt speaks with an excited tone, but tries to hide it. Not very well though. Luna hesitates for a moment, then reaches out. She is about to take the ball, but she brings her arm back again.

You elbow her in the ribs, and she sucks in her breath sharply. You frown at her, and motion towards the ball with your head. She reaches out again, and this time takes the ball. Summoning a pen from the matter that surrounds her, she creates a pen. She marks the ball, the pen squeaking against the tape.

You smile at her. But you quickly lose your happiness as she throws the ball up in the air. Her magic envelopes the ball, and in a streak of blue flame, sends it flying across the sky. The small colt's ears droop downwards, and he shuffles back to his seat, his head hanging low and muttering curses.

You clench your fist, completely disgraced by Luna's behaviour. But she simply grins. A large smile from ear to ear, her eyes beaming with happiness. You are about to take her off stage, enjoy having her while you can, and just give up with rehabilitation. But something stops you.

You hear a loud whine come from behind you, like a jet plane flying at top speed. You stand up, out of your chair, and turn around. You see a small blue dot in the distance, sparkling and dancing through the air. It grows bigger and bigger, until you can see what it is.

It's the ball. The colt's ball. It is flying through the air, towards the stage. It's blue flame is dancing behind it, leaving a blazing trail through the sky. The colt stands up, looking at it. A massive grin spreads across his face, and he leaps out of his chair.

The ball slows down, landing safely in Luna's hand. She hands it to the colt, both of them grinning wildly. The colt yells out. 'That was so cool! The ball went like whoosh' He spins his hand through the air, re-enacting the balls flight. 'And then like "Shrrreeee" and then you caught it like "pff please" OH MY GOD YOU'RE COOL!'

The colt drops his ball, running back to Luna. He throws his arms around her, laughing excitedly. Luna laughs loudly hugging the colt back. A loud "daaawww" runs through the crowd, and you can't help but do the same. The moment is so sweet. Luna pushes the colt away gently, and speaks to him.

'There's another surprise there.' She smiles at him.

The colt raises an eyebrow. 'A surprise?' Luna smiles at him, and turns the ball in his hand. The colt tilts his head to the side.

'It's your signature. I saw it already.' The colt states matter-of-factly.'

Luna laughs. 'Below it.' The colt looks down, and freezes in place.

His eyes expand, growing bigger and bigger, until you think they will pop. He opens his mouth to speak, but only manages a stutter. 'Sign, sign, b, by.' The colt jumps up with excitement. 'Mom! Mom! Mom look! It's signed by Buck Norris! Buck Norris oh my god.
Thank you thank you thank you!' The colt runs back to Luna once again, leaping into her arms. "You're the best Princess ever!' Luna places the colt back on the floor, and he runs back to his mother.

Luna stands up, addressing the crowd. 'Please, ask any question you wish.'

____________________

You sit on your chair, Luna next to you. Throughout the course of this, "intervention", there were a variety of questions. "What's it like to be an Alicorn" "How does Celestia act in person" "What was it like on the moon".

As the last ponies start to leave, waving a goodbye, or sending their best wishes, you start to relax. Finally it seems that you and Luna can be happy and peaceful at last. Or at least, you hope. 'So. How are you feeling?'

Luna stares at you, tears welling in her eyes. But she isn't sad. That much you can tell. She's smiling, a massive grin that spreads from ear to ear, and her eyes shine like the moon itself. No, she is definitely happy. 'She's gone.'

You're confused. 'Who?'

She lets out a muffled laugh. 'Nightmare Moon. I can't see her in my mind anymore. She's gone. For good.' You stand there for a moment, so relieved that you have no clue what to do. You snap out of your trance, and you know exactly what to do. You grab Luna by the waist, pulling her in for a kiss.

You press your lips firmly against Luna's, all your happiness channeled into that one kiss. You place her hand in yours, and she moans quietly. Placing her hand on your chest, Luna pushes you away. 'I'm happy too, but let's get back to the castle first. Then....' She leaves the statement hanging, before shrugging. 'I think you can guess what we'll do.'

You grin. You know exactly what will happen. Linking her arm through yours, you head towards the everfree. Looking up, you notice a streak of colours heading towards you. 'Hey look! Celestia must be congratulating us.' You smile at Luna, and she rolls her eyes.

You can only just make out Aroura's face as he speeds towards you. You wave to him, but he doesn't slow down. If anything, he speeds up. Just as he is about to hit Luna, his wings spread out and he is stopped abruptly before her. His horn starts to glow, and Luna is enveloped in his aura.

'Help!' Luna can't do anything. Judging by the look of things, Aurora is casting a spell on Luna to stop her magic. You sprint towards Luna, reaching out to keep her from being taken away. But you are too late. Giving you one last salute, Aurora takes off, Luna being lifted off with him

And just like that, you're all alone again.
