Beneath the Surface

A large storm comes brewing out of the Everfree Forest, one that despite pegasi efforts, causes one of the largest flash floods to strike Ponyville. While Fluttershy and Applejack are trying to herd the beavers away from their homes along the flooding river that runs through Sweet Apple Acres and to higher ground, they find a drowned pegasus, beaten and bludgeoned by the rapid currents and barely alive. Upon him waking after fishing him out of the river, it is discovered that he has no memory of who he was, his name, nothing. His whole life gone and the only thing left to tie him to his past is the vest he was wearing. As he uncovers clues and memories to his past, he begins to question who he was and whether he truly wants to remember.
