A Hearth's Warming Romance
A Hearth's Warming Romance
Load Full StoryIt was a cold December day in Canterlot. People were rushing about, some of them trying to do some last minute Hearth's Warming Eve shopping, while others were just trying to get out the cold. Octavia Schumann, the great cellist prodigy, was one of those people. She had just left the theater where she was having a rehearsal and was rushing to her car when she bumped into a hooded figure wearing baggy khaki cargo pants on the sidewalk.
"Sorry," she said as she hastily continued towards the parking lot, not turning to look at the person she bumped into.
"Tavi?"
Octavia stopped, recognizing the voice. She turned to look at the hooded figure and immediately recognized the large purple-tinted glasses the person wore. Only one person would call her that and wear those ridiculous glasses.
The person removed their hoodie and glasses, revealing a fresh-faced girl with spiky blue-striped hair, pointed ears, and purple eyes.
Octavia stepped towards the person and smiled, "Hi, Vinyl Scratch."
The blue-haired elf girl beamed, "Hey ya, Tavi!"
Vinyl Scratch. That's not her real name, it's just a stage name. Embarrassingly, Octavia didn't know her actual name, though Vinyl didn't seem to mind. She was a DJ who, in recent years, became popular in the music scene, though Octavia knew her even before that. They first met 6 years ago, when they were nineteen. Octavia was performing a solo concert at the Grand Concert Hall, and Vinyl was volunteering as a stagehand. Octavia remembered that at the time, Vinyl was a plain looking blonde elf, and that she was quite awkward and shy.
"I, uh, really like how you play," Vinyl had told Octavia after the concert.
"Oh? Thank you."
"Yeah, erm, I actually have some of your albums, both your original pieces and classical recordings. I, umm, actually have sampled some of your originals for my own music," Vinyl said sheepishly, "I... I'm an amateur DJ, you see, and I think that your melodies work really well with electronic music."
"Th-thank you," stammered Octavia. She wasn't sure if she should take that as a compliment or not, since she thought that the music Vinyl was talking about was second-rate.
Vinyl suddenly brightened up. "One day, I hope to be able to become a famous musician, and tour around the world and share my love for electronic music," she declared. Octavia could see a glint of determination in her eyes.
They didn't see each other again until 3 years after that event. Octavia had almost completely forgotten the girl when she received a phone call from Vinyl out of the blue, wanting Octavia's permission to use samples of some her original pieces for songs in her second album. Apparently Vinyl did achieve her dreams of becoming a well-known musician. Just the year before, she released an album and it became a huge hit. Vinyl also asked Octavia if she wanted to go to a party at a club. Octavia at first didn't want to go, but then accepted the invitation, curious about the weird girl she met three years ago. When she got to the club, Octavia would've never recognized Vinyl if she hadn't suddenly given her a huge bear hug, shouting, "You came!" Instead of blonde hair, it was blue with light-blue highlights. She had several piercings on her ears, one on her tongue, and had a tattoo sleeve on her left arm. She had become quite the socialite, a dramatic change from the timid stagehand. Since then, they would occasionally bump into each other, and sometimes engage in conversation.
Octavia's mind drifted back to the present, and turned her attention back to the smiling girl.
"Cold day, huh?" Vinyl said as she blew into her hands and rubbed them together.
"Indeed."
"So, whatcha doin' later? Got any plans?" asked Vinyl, "There's going to be this really sick party at the club in the Uptown district. Wanna come?"
Octavia sighed. "You know I don't do that kind of thing."
"Oh, c'mon. You need to go out more and get wild, sister!" insisted Vinyl. She then looked down at her feet and started shuffling them, "Whatever. You went once, and you'll likely go again. All I gotta do is keep asking." She looked back up, "You didn't answer my first question."
"I'm just going to head back to my apartment, make myself dinner, maybe compose some music, and then sleep," replied Octavia.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow. "Alone? And I didn't hear anything about opening presents for Hearth's Warming Eve."
"Yes. Alone," retorted Octavia, "And I didn't receive any presents for Hearth's Warming."
Vinyl's jaw dropped. "WHAAAAAAAAAAT? How could you not get presents? That's, like, the most important thing about Hearth's Warming!"
"No, Vinyl, it's quite alright. I have more than enough things."
Vinyl ignored her and began rummaging through her bag. "I have the perfect gift!" she exclaimed. She pulled out a CD case and held it up to Octavia. It was a music album, specifically Vinyl's third studio album. "Happy Hearth's Warming!"
"Umm. Oh," whispered Octavia as she gingerly took the case from Vinyl's hand.
"I know that you don't like my music, but it's the thought that counts, right?" chirped Vinyl, "So just keep it in remembrance of me, yeah?"
Octavia looked at Vinyl and smiled. "Yes, of course. Thank you."
Vinyl smiled back and waved goodbye. "Catch you later!" she shouted as she ran towards the bus stop.
Octavia turned back and continued towards her car. Once she got in, she sat for awhile, looking at the CD case. She then brought it close to her chest. It's true, she did not like Vinyl's music, but she was touched by the act. Octavia really had no one who could give her gifts. She became orphaned when she was only 4, and grew up in the orphanage. She never really formed lasting-friendships with anybody, not even with her fellow musicians that she spent years playing with in the orchestra. Vinyl was really her only friend, the only person that Octavia had frequent talks with. Sure, sometimes whenever they did talk they would get into arguments, with Octavia calling Vinyl an "uncouth elf" and being called "a pretentious bitch" in return, but they always greeted each other the next day like nothing happened. Plus, Vinyl had surprising knowledge of the classical arts, which amused Octavia. Her mind drifted back to Vinyl's earlier invitation to go to the club and she considered accepting it.
No, she thought, You know why you don't do these kinds of things. It's to keep others from finding out your secret. The last time you went, you almost had a close call. Octavia composed herself, turned the ignition and sped home.
She pulled up into the driveway of her house 30 minutes later. Octavia lived in an upscale neighborhood and owned a beautiful two-story house with a paver stone driveway and surrounded by beautiful flowerbeds. The house was furnished with high-end furniture and decorations. Upstairs, she had her large master bedroom and a quest room. Downstairs, there was a living room that was furnished with a standard living room set of leather couches, love seats, and sofas and had a large grand piano (she was also quite an accomplished piano player) and a home entertainment theater complete with a large flat screen TV and an audio system. It was too big for one person to live in.
When she got to her door, she was disappointed that there were no packages waiting for her. She knew there wouldn't be any, but it still upset her. Sighing, she unlocked her door and stepped inside. Octavia Hung her coat up on the coat hanger by the door, dropped all of her belongings in the living room, and headed for the kitchen. She poured herself a small glass of wine, downed it, paused for a minute, then took a huge swig of the bottle. Octavia decided to throw all of her plans out the window. She opened her freezer, took out a frozen dinner, and popped it in the microwave. She then slumped on her couch, and turned on her TV, which was airing a Hearth's Warming holiday, taking small swigs of the wine. It was going to be a long night.
It was 2:00 a.m., and Octavia was on her second bottle. The once clean and organized living room and kitchen were now a mess, with bags of junk food everywhere and a half-eaten frozen dinner on the counter. Octavia had stripped off all of her clothes, wearing only her panties and a loose robe. At some point she also inserted Vinyl's CD into the entertainment system and was blaring the music, head-banging and tripping all over the place in a drunken stupor. She eventually fell on the couch, exhausted. She was really tipsy. As she sat there, trying to catch her breath, her thoughts began to drift to Vinyl, specifically the moment when she witnessed her dancing when she went to the club. Octavia remembered Vinyl's curves and how her body swayed. She felt flushed, and her breathing became more heavy from arousal. She was feeling the exact same way she felt 3 years ago at that club. She reached down her loins, shivering with ecstasy with every touch. She felt close to arriving.
*Ding dong*
Octavia's lust quickly diminished, replaced by panic. Oh shit, she thought, I must have annoyed one of my neighbors with the loud music, and they called the police. I can't be seen like this!
She turned down the volume of the music, tied up her robe so that it covered her body, and straightened out her hair. Taking a deep breath, she opened her front door.
"Hello, offi--" she suddenly stopped.
Instead of two police officers, there stood Vinyl, hands behind her back, smiling.
"Hey, you were just playing the album I gave you." Vinyl started sniffing the air, getting close to Octavia. "Are you drunk?"
Octavia gave her a wide-eyed stare. "I-I'm not drunk. Why would... what makes you think I'm drunk?" she slurred.
Vinyl had a look of sudden understanding on her face. "Well that explains a lot," she chuckled, "May I come in? It's really, really cold."
Octavia continued to stare at her for a few seconds before Vinyl's words finally kicked in. "Oh. Yes, of course. Come in."
Vinyl smiled and stepped inside, taking off her coat and shoes and placing her bag down. Octavia slowly closed the door.
"How did you know I live here?" she inquired.
Octavia held up her smart phone and grinned. "I just searched for your name and the city you live in. You can find out anyone's address and phone number as long as you know that stuff," she laughed, "It's kinda creepy actually. Anyway, I searched you, found your address, called a taxi, and now I'm here!"
"And why are you here?"
"Well," Vinyl began, "I couldn't stop thinking about how alone you were going to be for Hearth's Warming. It was really putting me in a bad mood." Vinyl looked down and shuffled her feet. "So I slipped out of the club and came here because I think that no one should spend a holiday alone." Vinyl smiled radiantly.
Octavia head was spinning. She really didn't Vinyl here, but she couldn't just force her out now that she was in the house. She decided to allow this and see where it went.
Vinyl walked into the living room, looking around. "Wow, this place is a dump!" she exclaimed. She quickly turned her head to look at Octavia. "I mean, I bet it looked really awesome before all of the, you know." She motioned to all of the junk food bags strewn about the room. She then sat down on the couch. "This leather couch is really nice and comfy, though," she said as she reached for the many remotes on the coffee table and started inspecting them. Octavia said nothing as she took Vinyl's CD from the disk tray and placed it back in it's case. Vinyl, having figured out how to change the TV input, flipped on the cable box. The first channel that appeared was airing the Hearth's Warming holiday special that Octavia was watching when she got home.
"Oh, oh! This movie is a classic!" exclaimed Vinyl, "Watching this is, like, a tradition for Hearth's Warming. C'mon, sit!" She got up and grabbed Octavia and pulled her to the couch. Octavia sat and looked at Vinyl, whose eyes were fixed on the TV like a little kid. Octavia really didn't want to watch the movie again, but seeing Vinyl being happy made it hard to refuse. Plus, she felt surprisingly comfortable and happier now that she was here. All she had to do was keep her cool. Octavia took a deep breath and loosened up, also turning her attention to the TV. Eventually, they were an hour in to the movie, and things were winding down. Vinyl had been laughing and pointing out all of the little things in the movie. Even Octavia was enjoying herself. Now they both her silently watching the movie. Suddenly, Vinyl leaned into Octavia, resting her head on her shoulders. Octavia tensed up. She never had someone this close to her before. Her eyes suddenly darted across Vinyl's body, admiring it, and then quickly regretted it as her loins started tingling. Octavia grabbed the remote and stood up rapidly, causing Vinyl's head to fall down on the couch. She turned off the TV and just stood in front of it, staring down at her feet. Confused, Vinyl lifted her head off of the couch. "Tavi? What's wrong?"
"Please leave."
"Huh?"
"Please. Leave," Octavia said firmly.
"Oh, c'mon!" Vinyl whined, "We aren't done with the movie! It's so close to the end!"
"You already know how it ends. You can watch another airing when you get home."
Vinyl got up and walked briskly over to Octavia. "Alright, you hafta tell me what's on your mind. I come here and you're drunk and you've got snack bags all over the place, and now you're acting really apprehensive after we had a good time watching this movie. Something's wrong."
"Nothing's wrong. I'm fine. Please go."
"Tavi..." Vinyl placed her hand on Octavia's shoulder only for it to be slapped off. "I'm not leaving until--"
Octavia suddenly grabbed Vinyl's CD case. "GET OUT!" She threw it on the ground, hard. Pieces of the case and CD went flying everywhere, some of them hitting Vinyl and Octavia in the face. After the last pieces fell to the floor, they stood for what felt like hours for Octavia. She looked up at Vinyl's face, whose expression darkened. "Oh my Celestia, Vinyl I'm so sorry. I didn't mean--"
"DON'T. I think I understand everything," Vinyl's voice cracked, "You hate people, including me. You just CAN'T stand it when people touch you, like they aren't worth your greatness."
"Come on, that's ridiculous."
"No, no. I see how you act around people." Vinyl's eyes began to fill with tears. "You always act like you don't want to be with other people, you never talk with anyone. You're just alone on your high horse. You've called me more nasty names then I've called you, I now I'm beginning to think you actually meant it. You think you're better then me." Vinyl turned around and walked towards the hallway. "Fuck you. I'm leaving. You won't see me ever again." She turned her head and glared at Octavia. "And my name isn't 'Vinyl', bitch."
Octavia's mind began to race. No, not like this. I didn't want it to be like this. Please don't leave me. Vinyl had picked up her bag and put on her coat and shoes and was about to open the door when Octavia rushed over, grabbed her, spun her around and gave her a deep kiss. The kiss lasted only a minute, but for Octavia, it felt like a lifetime, as emotion began to wash over her. She broke the kiss and quietly wept into Vinyl's bosom. "No, don't leave. I don't hate you, or anybody. It's just..." She looked up at Vinyl's face, who stared in bafflement, and caressed it. She then removed Vinyl's coat and bag and led her back into the living room. She sat her down on the chair.
"I... I have something to show you," she gulped. She untied her robe and pushed her panties down a bit. Vinyl gasped and covered her hands with both hands. Where a vagina would normally be immediately visible, Octavia instead had a penis and testicles. "I have everything a woman has, except that I also have male genitals. I'm a freak, and you're really pretty, and I was afraid you would find out, so that's why I pushed you away earlier. That's why I've pushed everyone away while I was growing up." Octavia looked down. "I'll understand if you leave right now. It must be so disgus--" Octavia was interrupted by a sudden hug from Vinyl. She was sniffling.
"Thank you for showing me. I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one."
Octavia's eyes went wide. "Huh?"
Vinyl let go and stepped back, undoing her pants, and dropped them. What Octavia saw, she could not believe. Vinyl had a large bulge in her panties. Octavia looked at Vinyl. "You too?"
Vinyl nodded. "It's why I always wear baggy pants. Mine is also different from yours," she whispered as she pulled her panties down to uncover her male organs. Instead of normal human genitals, Vinyl had a large brown sack and sheath, almost like a horse.
"Wh-- why is it like a horse's genitals?"
"I don't know. I guess those of use that have magical potential get the stranger mutations," Vinyl said wistfully, "Either way, I'm glad that I'm not the only person that had to suffer with worrying about someone finding out your secret. It's why I've never had any relationships, and it's why I never get drunk, because I was afraid I would do something stupid that would expose me." She wiped a tear from her eye. "This is such a huge weight off my shoulders."
Octavia sat down, trying to absorb all of the information. She wasn't sure how to respond, or what to think, but she did feel something. She felt relief.
"So, you really think I'm pretty?" Vinyl asked, blushing.
"Um, well, I--" Vinyl held up her hand to stop her.
"No, wait," she cooed. She kicked off her pants and shoes and sashayed over to Octavia, looking at her groin, "I think I know the answer."
Octavia followed where Vinyl's eyes were staring and became red with embarrassment. Her member was fully erect.
"Oh Celestia, this is not a proper way to show someone that you find them attractive," she gasped, covering her face.
"Hey, relax," Vinyl said, kneeling down so that her face was close to the cock. She took her hand and wrapped her fingers around it, and slowly started stroking.
"N-- no, what are you doing?" Octavia said as she struggled not to moan with pleasure.
"Feels real good when someone else is doing it, huh?" Vinyl stroked the dick for a few seconds more before she wrapped her lips around the head and started sucking and licking. Octavia tensed up and started squirming, trying to hold in her ejaculation. It was too much to bear.
"Ah, ah, I'm gonna--" she didn't get her warning out in time as she started bucking her hips, shooting a load into Vinyl's mouth. Vinyl took a moment to gather her bearings before swallowing the wad.
"That... actually tasted really good," she giggled.
"Noooooo, don't say embarrassing things like that," Octavia squealed, covering her face with her hands. Vinyl pried her hands away and gave her a passionate kiss.
"Do you wanna do it? Because I wanna do it so bad."
Octavia did not say anything. She grabbed Vinyl's hand and they both ran up the stairs to her bedroom. Octavia fell back onto her bed. Vinyl removed her shirt and underwear and pounced on her, giggling. Vinyl's dick had come out of it's sheath. It was not as big as a horse's, but it was longer than most penises at eight inches long. Vinyl spread Octavia's legs apart and located her slit under her balls.
"Are you sure about this?" she asked.
Octavia nodded. "I need this so bad. Take me."
Vinyl smiled as her hand glowed with magic. She moved it down the length of her penis, applying a magical lubricant. She then positioned her horse cock in front of Octavia's entrance, and then thrust in.
Octavia's screams of pain as Vinyl broke her hymen quickly changed to moans of pleasure as the thrusting continued. She wrapped her legs around Vinyl's waist to try and bring her closer. She didn't want this moment to end.
"I'm getting close," gasped Vinyl as she sped up her thrusts.
"Please, not yet. I want to cum, too."
Vinyl simply grunted her answer and held out for awhile longer until...
"I can't hold it anymore! I'm cumming!"
"AH! Me, too!"
Octavia could feel her vagina being filled with Vinyl's seed, as well as her own dick shooting out spurts of semen onto her stomach. Vinyl fell on top of Octavia and laid there for awhile.
"Your turn," Vinyl panted as she rolled off Octavia and onto her back, spreading her legs. Octavia got on her knees and grabbed Vinyl's legs, pulling her closer to her cock. She was about to enter when she stopped, her tip hover over Vinyl's vagina.
"Vinyl, I don't think you ever told me your real name," Octavia whispered, "What is it? I don't want to call you what everyone else calls you. I want to call out my lover's name."
In the dark of the room, all Octavia could hear was Vinyl's heavy breathing. Finally she spoke.
"Melodi. My real name is Melodi."
Octavia smiled. "I love you, Melodi." She thrust into Vinyl's slit. The sensation was like no other. The warmth of Vinyl's entrance felt even better than her. She felt that she could cum any second, but she was determined to let this last longer. She could hear Vinyl inhale sharply as she pushed through her hymen. Octavia at first wanted to stop because she didn't want to hurt Vinyl, but, remembering how it felt for her, and continued humping, slowly at first, and then sped up. She lifted Vinyl's legs up so that she could thrust even deeper. She could hear her moans of pleasure and the sound of her dick slapping against her stomach. This gave Octavia an idea. She grabbed Vinyl's horse dick and jerked it before putting it in her mouth. She was amazed that she could fit her mouth around it. She started bobbing up and down. This made Vinyl scream even louder with pleasure.
"Oh Celestia!" Vinyl shouted, unable to contain herself. Octavia had reached her peak, and could tell that Vinyl had as well. Just like before, they came at the same time. Vinyl shot a huge load in Octavia's mouth, so huge that some of it was dripping out of her mouth. She swallowed what she could, and then kissed Vinyl, snowballing the semen as well.
Vinyl gulped. "I think I taste pretty good, too. What do you think?"
Octavia rested her head on Vinyl's breasts. "I think you taste sublime, Melodi."
They soon fell asleep, with Octavia still inside Vinyl. Tomorrow would begin a new chapter in their lives.
