Godzilla Returns
The Legend of Gojira
Previous Chapter
Deep in the darkest depths of the ocean, somewhere which ponies have yet to adventure, stood a massive, white coral reef. They were as big as mountains, slowly rising and falling slowly. The power from the massive spires alone made it seem imposing.
Creatures swam nearby, before swimming away, being frightened by something. No creature was brave or foolish enough to touch the coral, even sharks shied away, whales swimming away quicker than one could think possible.
Suddenly, the spires moved, before obsidian scales showed themselves, white claws showing themselves. The creature moved more, before his eyes opened, portals of fires in Hell showing them, a mixture of red and orange. HE had slept for millions of years, waiting for the time he had to be awoken by another threat, or to destroy the mammal's ignorance.
It had been awhile since it felt any disturbance from them...
HE believed he should arise again, check if something was wrong. The dust cleared, showing an obsidian black maw, firey eyes looking up. He could barely see the sun from where he was standing.
The sea levels have risen much more than he expected, but, they wouldn't bother him. The dust cloud finally cleared, showing the saurian. Black scales covered his body, boney white spinal plates erupting from his back, like the plates of a Stegosaurus. His jaws opened, showing three rows of razor sharp teeth, much like a shark. His body resembled that of old depictions of Tyrannosaurus skeletons, having the arms of an Iguanadon.
His long and massive tail slowly swung side to side, the monster...no, the God, waited a little. Usually the mammals would be here right now, trying to draw his radioactive blood. In his warm blooded body, he felt a little empty, waiting for a few moments longer.
He looked around, before noticing a Giant Squid swim by, though it was small for him. Gojira looked up, then started to swim to the surface, he held his arms to the side, his white claws aagainst his body. He pressed his legs together, the massive, stumps not slowing him down.
He finally breached the surface, looking around; nothing. He looked to his left, then to his right, before looking up; absolutely nothing. Where were the humans?
Gojira looked around, squinting a little, his firey eyes scanning the horizon. Where was his island? He fell asleep next to, what the humans called, "Monster Island", so where was it?
Gojira looked around again, before inhaling deeply. The air, it smelled different. It was easier to breath than before, much more fresh...clean of pollution. Gojira looked around, seeing nothing, then inhaled again, his massive chest expanding, before he let out a roar, which would surely draw the human's attention.
SHREEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNK!
Gojira looked around, before hearing a strange sound. He looked up, inhaling through his nostrils, noticing the air felt...clean. Too clean for the humans. He looked around the horizon, before seeing a small object in the distance. He growled, not knowing if the Humans made a trap for him.
He then pushed himself forward, lowering his head, his triple rows of spinal plates the only thing out of the water.
He would make the Humans pay for what they did to him.

Starlight gave a soft sigh, the gentle waves rocking their boat. She watched the clouds roll by, giving a gentle smile at the peace. Her ears pricked up, hearing what sounded like a rubber glove against strings. She shook her head, trying to listen again.
Hearing nothing, she looked around, before seeing a pod of whales in the distance. White jets of water billowed from them, giving their songs, making Starlight smile again.
Nature was so strange, unknown, but that didn't stop it from being amazing. She didn't notice the massive shadow under here, curious of the small boat.
"Hey, Starlight!" A japanese accent pony called, making Starlight look at him. He smiled at her, before waving to her. "Enjoying the view?"
"Of course, Serizawa!" She answered, before walking over to him. "After all, I have to enjoy my vacation with my husband." She said, kissing his lips. He smiled, before looking at her, an eye patch covering one eye.
The boat rumbled a little, making Staright look confused, Serizawa not paying attention. The massive shadow started to glow blue as it got closer to the small boat.
"What was that?"
"What was what?"
Suddenly, the sound of water exploding out sent the boat meters away. The sound of a deep screech was heard, the ouple looking in horror as a multi-limbed beast rose from the sea. It roared again, its head shaped like a knife, its vien glowing blue. It had mutiple rows of teeth, none of which looked friendly. Its eyes were glowing blue, before they zeroed onto the couple on the boat.
Grey skin and massive muscles buldged from the massive monster as it looked down at the small boat. Starlight screamed, causing the monster to give a snarl. It reared its head back, roaring, not noticing another massive shadow. It then slowly lowered its head, opening its jaws. Its massive, blue throat was glowing as it prepared to swallow the boat-and passengers-whole.
The water started to roll, before triple spires rose from the water, bone white, sharp and maple leaf shaped. The couple looked over, noticing the spinal plates moving faster and faster. They suddenly stopped, before a deep bellow called out, water exploding out.
SHREEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNK!
The massive saurian had arrived, seeing the monster. They monster's three eyes watched him, the other three eyes trained on the boat. It then moved its head forwaard, ready for a quick meal. The saurian growled, showing the sign that he was not to be played with. His massive, black, scale covered tail suddenly slammed into the monster, sending it away. The kaiju roared in pain, the spinal pplates on the saurian's tail cutting into the monster's face.
The monster flew, hundreds of feet away, before landing with a loud splash. The saurian snorted, before he glanced over, seeing the boat. Serizawa watched with horror, seeing the massive Dinosaur look at him and his wife, before uttering a single word that history had never forgotten.
"Gojira."
Gojira snorted, before looking back, seeing the kaiju, named "Knifehead", getting up. Knifehead looked at the Dinosaur, roaring in anger. Gojira inhaled deeply, before bellowing back. Neither showed fear, not moving, waiting to see what the other would do. Knifehead made the first move, runing on all six limbs towards Gojira.
Gojira gave a smile, before punching the monster's face, knocking it away. Knifehead felt dizzy, before Gojira grabbed the monster's tail. It screeched as he lifted him into the air without a problem, then slammed it back into the ground, giving a rumbling growl.
Knifehead sank lower, before beginning to swim away, going deper. Gojira gave a confused glance around, before the shadow appeared behind him, swimming towards him.
Serizawa and Starlight quickly started the boat engines, trying to get away. Serizawa looked back, giving a look of anger as Knifehead pounced, biting Gojira's shoulder. Gojira roared, more in anger than pain, then clawed against the monsters face. He clawed out two of its eyes, making it screech, before punching it in the face, knocking who knows how many teeth out of the kaiju.
Knifehead wracked his claws ahgainst Gojira's chest and neck, before being clawed away by the Dinosaur. Gojira bit onto the kaiju's head, sinking his teeth into it's tough hide. Blue blood expoded from the wound, before Gojira spit the blood out, giving a disgusted roar. The blue blood left a horrible taste in his mouth, and distracted him. Knifehead lunged forward, before the tip of his head made contact with Gojira's shoulder.
Gojira roared in pain, before trying to pull the monster off. He clawed against its face, before it sank deper into his shoulder, making him screech in pain.
Starlight looked in horror as the monster started to push Gojira down, small tears welling in her eyes. "We have to help him!"
"We can't!" Serizawa yelled, before focusing on sterring away from the clash of the titans.
"Why not?"
"We'd just piss the thing off!"
"Well, at least we'd distract it from the big one!"
Serizawa sighed, knowing his wife was right. She was always right. Serizawa started to search though the boat, before grabbing out a flare gun. He loaded the flare in, giving a silent snarl.
Gojira roared, flames of pain spreading though his shoulder. His body was trying to heal the wound, but the object was stopping him from healing. He looked down, seeing if the new creatures were alright. He saw one of these...horse looking creatures had a weapon in its hand. He watched as the bipedal horse creature pulled the trigger, a loud sound coming out, before a light came from its shot.
Knifehead pulled its head out of Gojira's shoulder, watching the flare with curiosity, before it landed in its injured eye, making it screech in pain. Gojira's shoulder slowly started to heal, but he was angry. Nobody liked him when he was angry.
He felt energy course through his veins, he feeling heat come from his spinal plates. His dorsal plates started to glow blue, his eyes turning spectral, empty, glowig neon blue. Gojira inhaled deeply, tendrils of radiation becoming visible as they entired his mouth.
Knifehead looked at Gojira, curious of the lights coming from his mouth and back. Gojira glared at the monster, giving the look of a God. A very angry God.
Gojira opened his mouth, throwing his head forward, a blue beam of radiation striking Knifehead in the chest, pushing the monster to the depths of the ocean. Gojira continued his Aether Breath, his anger fading away as he knew his enemy was dead. The water around Gojira had evaporated, showing his feet standing on solid rock.
Gojira's spinal plates and eyes stopped glowing as he stopped the beam. Gojira waited a moment, before seeing blue blood surface, glowing. Gojira gave a growl of happiness, before ooking down, seeing the married couple. They were terrified, however, Serizawa was more interested than horrified.
Gojira snorted, before walkings away, giving a snort.
He stopped, looking back at the couple, then opened his jaws, allowing a victorious bellow that hadn't been heard in eons.
