Prologue

It was just another day in Equestria as Twilight Sparkle, the local librarian of the town of Ponyville, was writing a letter to her mentor and ruler of the land, Princess Celestia.

Dear Princess Celestia

During my studies I came a crossed an old tome describing a spell to summon a being from another dimension. I will be trying the spell out tomorrow and was wondering if you and Luna would like to come and watch?

Twilight Sparkle.

The next morning Twilight, her friends, and the princesses gathered in a clearing just outside of Ponyville.

Chapter 1: The Girl That Appeared From Nowhere

It had been another long day for Brian as he was just getting home from work. He quickly fixed himself something for dinner. The sun was just starting to set as he sat outside on his back deck eating a bowl of soup. A light breeze blown through messing up his short blonde hair. He stared up at the sky with his blue eyes, as the first few stars shown through the last bit of light of the sun. He slurped the last bit of his soup then set his bowl down on the ground next to him. After a few moments he grabbed his bowl and got up. He turned to head inside when there was a loud bang like a small explosive went off. He was hit with a strong blast of wind, strong enough to almost knock him off his feet. He dropped his ceramic bowl which broke when it hit the deck. Brian slowly turned covering his face from the wind. A bright light was coming from a few feet away, it was far to bright to look at; there was another explosive sound as the light quickly faded. Brian was hit with a stronger gust, knocking him down. Brian quickly got up when the wind died down and looked over the yard only to find there was someone laying on the ground right near where the light was coming from.
