Chapters Twilight was having tea with Celestia. They were both allowed to bring one guest. Celestia brought Luna and Twilight brought her best friend, Fluttershy. They were drinking tea and talking about girl things. They discussed favorite hoof polishes, restaurants, gossip, and which stallions they thought were cute. Fluttershy, who was friends with the three princesses for a long time, was acting a bit more like an outcast than usual. She was the only non immortal being there! That would make anyone feel awkward, right? She barely talked and hardly listened, often staring off in space or dozing off.
"Is your friend all right Twilight?" Celestia eventually asked.
Twilight looked at Fluttershy for the first time in an hour. "I think so." she said tilting her head like a confused dog.
Fluttershy looked back at her friend, her eyes a silent plea to leave, but Twilight was either dumb and didn't get it, or was acting dumb so she could spend more time with the princesses.
"She doesn't look all right, you should take her outside, get her some fresh air. Or maybe, have you been feeding her?" Luna asked showing general concern for another being. She has changed a lot since that one nightmare night.
"I don't feed her, she feeds herself, I hope." Twilight said cocking her head the other direction.
Fluttershy mouthed the words 'I hate this'. Twilight's eyes lit up, she obviously understood this time, but she ignored it. Gee, what a great friend, am I right?
"Fluttershy, come here, follow me." Luna got out of her chair and gestured for Fluttershy to follow. The yellow pegasus did so willingly, just to get away from so many immortals. When she stopped, Luna was at the upper most tower in the castle staring down at Ponyville.
"Why did you bring me here?" Fluttershy asked, well, shyly.
"Look at this beautiful town. So full of life. Doesn't it just take your breath away?"
Fluttershy went up to the railing and looked down at the peaceful village of Ponyville. "It is." she said in amazement.
"Look Fluttershy, this town will be ruled by one single pony eventually, most likely Twilight. Then the guys will be lining up just to see her, and because shes your friend, you should take advantage of that, tell ponies your best friend is their princess and they'll bow to you. In fact, sometimes, you'll have more power than Twilight."
"Wow, I never thought of it that way. Why are you being so nice to me though, we barely know each other." the last part just sunk in to Fluttershy and she carefully backed away from the monarch.
"Because, my sister was a princess before me, and I could've used that, but I didn't, and I don't want you to make that same mistake I did. After all, it is my job to ensure everypony has the best life possible."
"Oh, well thank you."
"Anyways, like oh ,my Celestia! Did you see what Soarin did to his mane? Its so luscious and full of volume!" Luna said sounding a bit like a crazed fangirl.
"I know right? Its so fabulous, it makes me want to have his kids!" Fluttershy immediately reverted to the same matter of talking. "Did I just say that?"
"Yes. Oh look, there his is! I'm going to talk to him!" Lune spread her wings and started flying to Soarin.
"Not if I do first!" Fluttershy did the same thing, but of course Luna beat her by like five minutes.
"Hey Soarin." the princess of the moon said waving her hoof.
"Oh hello Luna." he said.
"I like your mane." she said, barely containing her excitement.
"Really? I just switched to a new conditioner."
"Can I stroke it?"
"Uhh sure." he said even though Luna started already.
"Oh my Celestia its so soft!"
Soarin started feeling a bit awkward and was thinking about making a break for it.
"So, do you want to go out?"
Soarin looked at Luna's wings, then her horn, and finally her crown. He thought for a second.
"Sure ok." he said after a while, his inner self practically exploded with excitement. I'm going out with a princess! he thought to himself.
"Wanna go flirt in my bedroom?" she said offering her hoof.
"Sure." Soarin put his hoof around Luna's.
"Ready?" Luna asked as she spread her wings.
Soarin spread his wings. "Ready." then the two flew off into Luna's room through the open window which was closed 10 seconds ago. Soarin was barely flapping fast enough. Luna was just a tad bit faster.
Then Fluttershy landed.
"SOARIN!" she shouted. Then she looked around. "Aww man." she said bowing her head in disappointment then headed back to Twilight and Celestia who were still drinking tea like nothing happened.
"Oh hello Fluttershy." Twilight said when she walked in. "What happened?"
"Luna gave me some advice." The yellow pegasus said.
"Where is she now?"
"With Soarin, in her room."
And then, as if on cue, the three ponies heard some bed springs extend and compress repeatedly then a lamp break and Luna say "Shhh."
"Well, that's not surprising." Celestia said. "Now how about we get back to out tea?"
Then they heard the nightstand topple over followed by another "Shhh."
Celestia facehoofed. She picked up her tea cup and took a sip. Twilight did so too. Fluttershy refiled her cup and took a sip only to spit it right out.
"Sorry, forgot the sugar." she said and she spooned some sugar into her cup. Wow that sounds so wrong.
Girl dumps boy and turns out to be lesbian
It was Luna and Soarin's fifth date. Well, maybe, I lost count about a week ago. The two ponies were eating spaghetti in the castle dining room. They were talking in between mouthfuls, doing the usual flirting. Then Soarin's cell phone rang. Normally, he'd hit reject then turn it off unless it was Spitfire, leader of the Wonderbolts, the single pony who had permission to fire him, but this time was different. He quickly swallowed everything in his mouth and ran out of the room to talk. He didn't normally leave the room to talk, and he would tell Luna that it was Spitfire. This time, he left the room before answering and simply said "I got to take this."
"Who was it?" Luna asked when he came back.
"Oh no one." Soarin answered nervously.
"Well it was obviously somepony, you were actually talking."
"It was nopony important."
"Well then it can't be top secret 'I'd have to kill you if I told you' right?"
"No, I guess."
"Who was it then?"
"Umm, it was Spitfire." he said after a short pause after umm as if thinking.
"You seem a little worried, and protective, like you don't want me to know who."
"What, no. I'm acting normal, this isn't weird or protective at all." Soarin started sweating.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, yes I am."
"All right then, sit down, eat some more spaghetti."
Soarin complied and filled his mouth with some noodley saucy goodness. They resumed their conversation. You know, the usual stuff, how their day was going, ponies they've dated before, how much they liked their job, what they wanted to name their foals, and which of Luna's clothes turned Soarin on the most. When they finished, they scheduled their next date, then Soarin left and went home.
After about 3 days, they started their next date. It went down like their other dates. It was all going well until Soarin got the mysterious call and acted nervous when Luna pushed him trying to get more about the call out of him. When the date ended and the two winged ponies went to their respective houses, Luna called Soarin.
"Luna?" Soarin asked when he answered.
"Yeah Soarin, its me."
"Why are you calling me? You normally wait another day before calling after a date."
"Yes, I know, but I just need to say."
"Yeah?"
"Its not working out."
"What, why not?"
"Well, you're keeping secrets from me and your nervous when I ask about your phone calls."
"What? No, please don't, I love you deary poo." Soarin said trying his best to sound really in shock and hurt, but failing.
"Well, its just, the spark is gone, I love another mare."
"Oh, well, I hope we get back together. Wait, mare?"
"Yes, there is a mare that I have a crush on."
"Well, then I guess I can tell you about those calls."
"Ok, do so then."
"It was Spitfire, asking to go out with me."
"Your boss, asked you out?"
"Well, more like co worker."
"Your co worker who is a higher job ranking than you and can fire you is asking you out?"
"Sure, lets go with that."
"So why did you have to keep it secret?"
"I said yes."
"You were cheating on a princess, with your BOSS? Oh my Celestia, wait till the reporters hear this!"
"Hey, you tell them that and I tell them you're lesbian."
"Fine, your secret is safe with me, goodbye Soarin." and Luna hing up before Soarin could say anything. Then Celestia walked into Luna's room.
"I told you it wouldn't work out." she said.
"Wait, you heard all that?"
"Yes."
"ALL of it?"
"Yes, and your secret is safe with me." then the white alicorn fake zipped her lips shut to emphasize her words.
"Thank you sis." Luna spread her arms for a hug, and Celestia hugged Luna.
"Just so you know, I know ALL of your secrets, every last one, the ones in your diary, in your closet written on scrap paper, any one you've ever told somepony, and the ones you keep in your mind." Celestia whispered in her sister's ear.
"And I know all of yours, I won't tell anypony yours if you don't tell anypony about mine." Luna whispered back.
The two sisters stopped hugging.
"All right, fine, so, do you want to jump on the bed and throw pillows at nearby objects?"
"Sure."
Fluttershy was wandering the castle looking for Luna, she needed some advice, she was in the room they tea partied in a while ago. Then she heard the bed springs contract and expand and a nightstand topple over.
"Ohh nice one." Celestia's muffled voice went through the ceiling.
"Thanks." then a bookcase crashed down to the floor. "And you have one strong hoof sis."
"Thank you."
"Phew, I'm tired. Should we stop?"
"Sure. My hoof is a little sore anyways." then the two sisters sat on the bed and the springs contracted one last time. This left a very stunned, wild eyed Fluttershy downstairs.
"And I must say sister, I was quite surprised when I found out you were lesbian and had a crush on Fluttershy." Celestia said.
"I was surprised to find out you liked Rainbow Dash." Luna said.
The two sisters continued talking, when eventually, a guard brought Fluttershy into the room.
"I caught this mare wandering the castle, what shall I do with her, she claims she just wants to talk to Princess Luna." he said, staring at the wall right between Luna and Celestia not sure which alicorn to look at and not even twitching or blinking.
"Leave her with us." Luna said.
"Yes your highness." he said gently placing Fluttershy on the floor then leaving the room bowing his head in respect.
"Fluttershy, young pegasus, what be your business here?" Luna said.

The yellow pegasus looked into Luna's dark eyes, still stunned at what she heard downstairs.
"What is it girl?" Celestia asked kindly.
"Well, its just, I." Fluttershy's lips couldn't form the words she wanted to say.
"Spit it out!" Luna shouted.
Luna Fluttershy thought The reason I came here. "I came for some more advice." she eventually said. Well, it was true. That is why she was in the castle first of all.
"Ok, what do you need advice on? Ask away." the black alicorn said with a smile.
"I, I'd rather do this in private."
"But we are in private."
"Without Celestia."
"Oh ok, just call when I can come back." then the white monarch teleported out of the room.
"So, what is it Fluttershy?" Luna patted the bed where Celestia was sitting to motion Fluttershy to sit.
Fluttershy jumped up onto the bed and sat next to Luna. "Well, its just. There's somepony I have a crush on, and I need to know how to get them to like me."
"Just act like yourself." Luna answered.
"Really? That's it?"
"Yeah, and if that doesn't work, wait about a week or so, most ponies forget by then, and talk to them, flirt with them, make them think that you will make them feel better about themselves no matter what, like you are the single reason they were put on this planet."
"But how?"
"Compliment them a lot. Say nicer things than they'd ever hear anypony say, even if some are lies. If they're fat and weigh like 500 pounds, say like 'hey, have you been working out?' Just do stuff like that, do them little favors, buy them a gift."
"Does that really work?"
"Yeah, I've done it plenty of times, almost always works."
"Do you think that you being an immortal goddess had anything to do with it?"
"Oh no, I've done it before I was a princess. In fact, it worked more before immortality. Something about being over 20,000 years older than them really freaks out a stallion."
"Oh, is that all?"
"Yeah. Well good luck, so who is it?"
"Who is what?"
"The stallion."
"Oh, its just somepony you know."
"Oh, ok, good luck Fluttershy."
"Thank you Luna." then the yellow pegasus got off the bed and left the castle.
Celestia teleported back into the room right where Fluttershy was sitting.
"So, how did it go sis?"
"You know how it went, don't lie."
"How did you know?"
"I saw the tip of your wing in the window."
"Well, I guess I'm busted then."
Luna looked at the ground. A single pink hair lay on the ground. Luna picked it up and went to her closet. She put it by a picture of Fluttershy. She backed out of the closet and looked at her shrine then shut the door.
"I'm too obsessed with her."
"I can tell." Celestia said barely containing her laughter.
Luna looked at Celestia. Celestia stared back. Then the two sisters burst into laughter.
"Not as obsessive. As you. With. Rainbow Dash." Luna managed between laughs.
Celestia stopped laughing immediately after Luna said this and glared at her sister. "You. Are right." then she fell onto the floor laughing.
The two sisters kept laughing. After a while, they moved on to joke telling. Luna was surprisingly good, or Celestia had a bad sense of humor and laughed at everything.
When Fluttershy found her way downstairs to the tea party room, she heard another conversation she took way too wrong.
"Stop it Luna, I can't breathe! Oh my me, you're awesome at this. I just LOVE this." Celestia laughed.
Fluttershy paused and looked up. She looked forward again and bolted out of the castle. Well, now to put Luna's advice to the test, wheres Soarin? Fluttershy looked around then started flying. She flew around town looking for Soarin. When she found him, she darted down and started talking to him.
"Hey Soarin." she said when she landed, sweating lightly. Hey, you have to give her credit, its hard flying and she never passed flight school, and she is super shy, but talking normally, that's enough to make ANYONE sweat.
"Oh, hey Fluttershy." Soarin said.
"Soarin do you like me?"
Soarin was taken aback by this sudden question. "Well, I, I guess."
"Will you go out with me?"
"Well, I don't know, this just, came on so fast, and well, I kind of."
Just then, Spitfire walked out of the cafe they were standing by, she was holding two cups of coffee and two bagels.
"Hey baby. I got your coffee and bagel." Spitfire said as she handed, or is it hoofed, one of each item to Soarin.
"Thank you honey." The two pegasi rubbed noses. Then Soarin took a sip of his coffee.
"Who's this?" Spitfire asked looking at Fluttershy.
"This is Fluttershy, my friend."
"Aww, shes cute."
"You say that about everypony."
"Yeah, I know. So, how are you doing Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy backed away cautiously.
"Whats wrong? I don't bite."
"Its ok Spitfire, shes just a bit shy around new people." Soarin explained.
"Oh, I see. I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Spitfire, leader of the Wonderbolts." Spitfire held out a hoof to shake hooves with Fluttershy and she smiled kindly.
Fluttershy slowly crept forward and shook Spitfire's hoof.
"H-hi Sp-Spitfire." she said a little scared.
"Its ok Fluttershy, Spitfire is my friend, she's really nice." Soarin said.
"Yeah, what he said. Wait, I'm nice? That's all I get?" Spitfire said jokingly, pretending to be mad at Soarin, but maybe pretending too much. She scared Fluttershy who jumped back and ducked down.
"Oh, its ok Fluttershy, she was just joking. She is a very good actor. Maybe a bit too good." Soarin put some emphasis on the last sentence and looked at Spitfire out of the corner of his eye, but she got the message.
"Yeah, I'm not mad, I was just joking." Spitfire said doing her best
"A-are you sure?" Fluttershy asked, taking half a step closer.
"Yeah."
Fluttershy stood up completely and trotted back up to the couple.
"So, what did you want Fluttershy?" Spitfire asked.
"Oh, uhh, nothing. Just wanted to talk. Uhh, bye." Fluttershy started walking away.
"Oh, goodbye then Fluttershy, hope to see you again, maybe we can actually talk." Spitfire said, both she and Soarin started waving.
Is it just me or is she much nicer around Soarin? Fluttershy thought, reminiscing the short time she visited Rainbow Dash in the Wonderbolts Academy. Oh well, that doesn't help me now, my crush is already taken. What will I do next? All of my friends are asleep by now. Then she decided. She flew off towards the castle to talk to the princesses. When she arrived, the two monarchs were still telling jokes, most of them were corny, and when I say corny, I mean corny. Think of the corniest joke in the world. Now multiply the corniness by ten, that's barely scratching the surface on these jokes' corniness.
"Oh, hello Fluttershy." Celestia said when the yellow pegasus flew in.
"Hello Celestia." Fluttershy responded.
"So, did you ask him out?" Luna asked.
"Yes."
"How did it go?"
"He's taken."
"Oh, that's too bad, but you know, if a guy is taken the first time you ask him out and you didn't know, it means it was never meant to be." Celestia said.
Luna and Fluttershy stared at her.
"What? Its true. Everypony I've seen that happen to never got married to that pony."
"Wow, that's a little scary and specific." Luna said. Fluttershy just nodded, a dumb look on her face.
"So, Fluttershy, is there anything you came here for?"
"Well, I kind of want to talk to Luna again, in private."
"Oh all right." Celestia transported out of the room and Fluttershy took her place on the bed.
"So, what do you want to talk about Fluttershy?" Luna asked.
"Well, I just wanted to say." Fluttershy was cut off.
"Wait a second." Luna walked up to the window. "Celestia, GET OUT!"
"Oh, ok." Celestia looked a little disappointed, but she transported away again.
"So, anyways. As I was saying." Fluttershy began.
Luna opened her closet. "Celestia, OUT!"
Celestia came out of the closet and walked out of the room. She went into the hallway and shut the door behind her. Luna opened the door and zapped Celestia's flank with some magic.
"Stay out!" Luna said.
"YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" Celestia said, she charged toward the room, but was shot back by some invisible force field. "Fine, I'll stay out."
Luna shut the door and sat on the bed again. "So, what did you want to talk about Fluttershy?"
"Well, I just wanted to say."
She was interrupted by a shocking sound and an angry sounding Celestia shouting "FUCK THAT HURT!"
"Celestia, the spell shocks you if you get to close to the room!" Luna shouted to the door.
"Yeah, I kind of got that." Celestia shouted back.
"So, what did you want to talk about Fluttershy?" Luna asked.
DUN DUN DUUUUN. Another cliff hanger. I bet you're starting to hate me huh?

Both girls have the same feeling about each other
"Well, I just wanted to." Fluttershy began, but stopped to readjust her position on the bed. This was a little weird for her. She has never done anything like this before. "I wanted to tell you. I. I. I'm lesbian." Fluttershy said starting to tear up.
"Oh Fluttershy, its ok." Luna scooted closer to the yellow pegasus and put a wing around her.
"I know, but I just, feel so weird. It just doesn't feel right."
"There there." Luna patted Fluttershy on the top of her head. "Its always better to vent out your feelings, tell somepony."
"Can I tell you?"
"Sure, and I won't tell anypony."
"Its you."
"What?"
"I have a crush on you."
"Oooooh, didn't see that one coming." came a muffled voice from the hall.
"Damn it." Luna's horn glowed for a bit.
"OW!"
"I changed the length of the shield, so QUIT EAVESDROPPING."
"All right all right, I get it!" Celestia said, her voice barely audible.
"So, where were we?" Luna asked Fluttershy.
"I have a crush on you." the yellow pegasus said.
"Oh, well, its ok Fluttershy."
"No its not, I should be liking stallions, not mares."
"No no Fluttershy, you like who you like, it doesn't matter who. Male or female, if you like them, you like them, just remember, go for them and the feeling may be mutual."
Fluttershy looked up at the alicorn and sniffled. She was crying slightly.
Luna looked down and kissed Fluttershy on the top of her head.
"Wait, what?" Fluttershy asked immediately stopping her crying completely.
"Fluttershy, its ok. I like you too. Even if I didn't like you, I wouldn't judge you."
"So, that's why you've been so nice to me."
"That and I'm the princess, my goal is to make everypony's life as good an experience as possible."
"How long have you liked me?"
"Oh, quite a while."
"So, umm, do you, want to go out?"
"Yes."
"Want to go on our first date?"
"Sure, where?"
"I don't know, I was going to ask you where you wanted to go."
"Oh I don't care, I just have to go tell the newspaper reporters something."
"What?"
"You can come along, I may need you."
The two ponies got off the bed and went to the balcony and flew off to the Equestria Daily Times building.
"Hello, welcome to Equestria Daily times, can I help you?" the mare at the front desk asked.
"I would like to talk to your lead reporter."
"I'm sorry, but you have to make an appointment to talk to him."
Luna showed the mare her crown.
"Hes in the third door on your right." she said quickly realizing the royalty in her presence.
"Thank you." Then Luna and Fluttershy went into the specified room.
"Aloe?" Fluttershy asked, surprised to see the spa pony at the front desk.
"Yes, its me, who did you expect?" Aloe asked
"Anyone but you, I thought you worked at the spa." Luna said.
"Oh, I do work at the spa, but it doesn't pay enough, so I work here for a second job.
"Does Lotus work here too?"
"Oh no, she works at..." Aloe trailed off.
"At what?"
"Its best if I don't say. Anyways, why did you come here?"
"I have a scoop for you."
"Yes."
"Soarin, cheated on me, with his Spitfire."
"No way, I know you're a princess and all, but I don't believe you. I need proof."
"Here's a picture, and a recording of our conversation when I found out." Luna slipped a picture and a voice recorder to Aloe.
"No way." she said listening to the conversation. "Wow, this is going to be a hot seller."
"Oh, and when this gets out, he is going to come here and ask you to release a story about me being lesbian."
"Yes, and?"
"Here's some money if you post this story in the next paper, and here's some money if you don't post any story by Soarin that involves me." Luna said as she put a bag of bits of the counter. Aloe counted them over.
"All right, you got a deal Luna. Is there anything else I can get you?"
"Not today."
"All right. Oh, who's this?" Aloe asked just noticing Fluttershy.
"This is Fluttershy, my marefriend."
"Oh, I see, don't worry, I won't tell nopony." Aloe kicked back in the chair she was sitting in and put her legs up on her desk.
"Well, I'll see you later." Luna said.
"Yup, have a good one." Aloe said unwrapping a sucker and popping it in her mouth.
Fluttershy and Luna left the building and started heading back to the castle.
"Well that went better than I expected." Luna said.
"Yeah, I was surprised to find out Aloe had two jobs." Fluttershy said.
"Makes you wonder. Where is Lotus's second job?"
"I don't know, but hey, why did you need to take me with you?"
"The press doesn't always believe everything, I was afraid I'd need you to back me up. Everypony knows you never lie."
"Oh, that makes sense, I guess."
"Race you to the castle?"
"No, I didn't exactly pass flight school."
"Oh, well, I'll take you back, get on me."
"Umm, ok." Fluttershy said, climbing up onto Luna's back.
"Ready?"
Fluttershy readjusted herself. "Ready."
Luna took off and they arrived at the castle almost instantly.
"Hey Luna, are you back?" came a very faint voice.
"Yeah, why?" Luna shouted into the hall.
"The magical sphere is keeping me out of the bathroom. Can you shut it down? I have to go get a tampon."
Luna facehoofed and destroyed the magical barrier.
"Thank you!" Celestia shouted from the other side of the closet wall.
"Sisters." Luna said looking at Fluttershy.
Both ponies sat on the bed again. Fluttershy attempted to put her wing around Luna, but she couldn't do it, so Luna put her wing around Fluttershy and pulled her a little closer.
"Well, its getting a little late." Luna said.
"Yeah, I should probably go home."
"Fluttershy, why don't you stay here tonight, the animals can go one day without you right? Plus your house is too far away to go, it would be pitch black by the time you got near it."
"Oh, I guess I could stay here for one night."
"All right."
The two mares talked for a while. One time they were interrupted by Celestia.
"Hey Luna, want to play black ops 2? I just got another prestige. Oh, I'm sorry, didn't know you had Fluttershy over." she said when she came in. She left immediately after saying this.
"Sisters." Luna said again.
The two mares continued their conversation. It was something along the lines of bla bla bla something uninteresting yadda yadda yadda rabbit purple banana dynamite. Yeah, I don't know, I wasn't paying attention to their talking. Then they fell asleep, not trying to, but on the same bed. They slept together. Luna was hugging Fluttershy, but she had no clue, she was asleep. Or was she?
Fluttershy's greatest gift
Luna got up earlier than Fluttershy, obviously. She lowered the moon and Celestia raised the sun to signify the morning. Soon, all of Equestria will be waking up. The two sisters stood side by side staring out a window down at the country they owned and commanded in front of them. Of course on this side of the castle, they couldn't see Ponyville or Trottingham.
"Celestia, I have a question for you." Luna asked.
"Yes Luna?" Celestia responded.
"I was wondering if I could make somepony a princess."
"Depends."
"On?"
"Who is this somepony?"
"Fluttershy."
"That doesn't surprise me."
"Well, can I? You know she would make a perfect princess. She never lies and she does stuff out of the goodness of her heart. She has pure intentions."
"I shall think about it sister."
"Thank you."
The two sisters resumed looking at the landscape. The perfect plains, the majestic mountains, the luscious lakes, the superb scenery, and so on. They sat and stared, every once in a while a pegasus would fly by and kick a cloud or move one or something. They could see everything that happened, a little blurred and too far to see in detail, but they could still see what happened. Oh, whats happening right there? Oh, oh dear sweet Celestia, why? Oh no, that is NOT something you should do in public!
"Morning Luna, morning Celestia." came a familiar sweet feminine voice from behind the monarchs.
"Morning Fluttershy." the two alicorns said in unison.
"How are you today?" she asked as she went up to the window and looked at the country.
"Good, we're just enjoying the view." Luna answered.
Fluttershy looked down at the scene of, what I COULD say, but WON'T and made a look of disgust.
"Just ignore it. Look up." Luna said without even glancing at the pegasus or what she was witnessing.
"Ok." Fluttershy tried to look up, but she just couldn't take her eyes off of the mare and stallion. They both looked so familiar. Like she knew them well and haven't seen them for a while, or she didn't know them well and just met them a few days ago. Well, she knew the stallion a little better, but she still knew them both.
"Fluttershy, you can look up, I know you can."
Fluttershy tried harder, and eventually looked away from the scene.
"Well, I should probably go home and check on my animals."
"All right Fluttershy. We'll see you later." Celestia said.
"Call me." Luna said.
"Bye." all three mares said as Fluttershy left the castle.
Fluttershy walked home. She walked, and walked, and walked, and walked. Eventually, she got to Twilight's tree, she stopped and talked to her best friend.
"Oh hello Fluttershy." the lavender alicorn said at her friend's unexpected arrival.
"Hello Twilight." Fluttershy said.
"Ahem." A little purple dragon said.
"And hello to you too Spike." Fluttershy said as she rubbed Spike's head.
"Where have you been?" Twilight asked.
"I was at the castle."
"What, all day yesterday?"
"Yes."
"No way."
"Yeah."
"Why? The princesses don't even let me do that!"
"Well, its kind of secret."
"Oh all right. So, why don't you come in? I just got some fresh apple juice."
"Sure."
"You can sit anywhere, I'll be right back." Twilight disappeared into the kitchen.
Fluttershy sat on the nearest chair and waited.
When she returned, Twilight gave Fluttershy a glass of ice gold apple cider.
The two best friends sat and talked for a while. They drank their cider and chatted.
"So, what did you do in the castle?"
"Oh, nothing you'd find interesting." Fluttershy lied. She lied? What is this world coming to?!?!
"Oh, all right, why did you go back anyways?"
"I wanted to ask Luna for some advice."
"On what?"
"On how to ask somepony out, and get them to say yes."
"Oh, well you know you could've come and ask me right?"
"What do you know about asking somepony out? You've been single your whole life, and your like what, 14?"
"So?"
"So you wouldn't really know how to get them to say yes."
"Ehh good point."
"So, how have you been Twilight?"
"Good, business at the library has been slow, and I've been practicing my flying, wings are a bit sore."
"I see, how good are you?"
"Not very."
"Would you mind teaching me? Your skill is much better than mine." Well, its not really a lie. Fluttershy is pretty bad at flying.
"Uhh, sure I guess."
Fluttershy downed the rest of her cider. "Well, I should probably get going, the animals are probably hungry."
"Bye Fluttershy." Twilight said, waving as her friend left.
"Bye Twilight." Fluttershy responded, waving back.
Fluttershy headed back to her cottage. On her way there, she bumped into Applejack.
"Why hai there Fluttershy. How ya doing Sugar cube?"
"Hi Applejack, I'm doing good, just heading home to feed my animals."
"Would ya mind helping me? This tree right here isn't dropping the apples no matter how many times ah buck it."
"Oh, sure." Fluttershy flew up and grabbed as many apples as she could, she flew back down and carefully set them in the cart. She repeated this until the whole tree was apple-less and the cart was nearly full.
"Thank ya sugar cube." Applejack said as she pushed the cart back to the farm. "See ya later."
"Bye Applejack." Fluttershy said as she set home, again. She was stopped by Rarity, who had something for her to do. Wow, some bad luck for her huh? What are the odds that three of her five main friends wanted her?
"Oh hello Fluttershy darling. Would you help me out real quick please?" Rarity asked.
"What do you need?" Fluttershy answered, in a question.
"Well, all of my mannequins are land ponies, and one of my customers needs a dress, and shes a pegasus, so I was wondering if you'd like to model what I have with the dress so far."
"Oh, sure."
"Oh good, here, put this on." Rarity said pushing a short red dress into Fluttershy's arms.
Fluttershy put on the dress, the wind holes were a little small, so she had trouble sticking her wings out.
"The wing holes are a little small." Fluttershy said after she got her wings through.
"All right, here, does that work better?" Rarity asked quickly cutting the holes bigger.
"Yes, perfect. Oh, and its a little drafty."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, there needs to be more material down below, I could feel a draft before, but it actually got more noticeable when I put on the dress."
"Oh, well, this customer is used to wearing dresses even worse than this one."
"Oh all right."
Just then, a random background pony stallion walked by and whistled at Fluttershy.
"Dayum girl. Show me dat ass some more!" the unknown pegasus said.
Fluttershy immediately turned around blushing so he couldn't see her butt anymore.
"I don't like this dress Rarity." Fluttershy said taking it off and passed it back to the unicorn.
"Well good, its not for you anyways."
Fluttershy ran away quickly trying to get away from the unknown stallion who took chase. Rarity tackled him for her friend.
"Bye Fluttershy, and you owe me one!" rarity shouted to the fading yellow pegasus.
Fluttershy kept running, she never even turned around to see if she was still being followed. Eventually, she bumped into Rainbow Dash.
"Hey Fluttershy. I need your help!" the blue show off pegasus said.
"What is it Rainbow Dash?" the quiet yellow pegasus asked.
"See that hawk? Shes kind of pissed at me, can you calm her down?"
"Sure." then she flew up and started talking to the bird.
"So, is she cool yet?"
"She says shes mad, she isn't a hawk, shes a falcon."
"What do I have to do to make her like me? This is in the middle of my training ground, er, sky, and she won't let me pass."
"She just wants you to call her by the correct name."
"Oh, I'm sorry misses falcon."
"Miss."
"What?"
"Shes single."
"Fine, I'm sorry MISS falcon."
The falcon sat in her nest and started preening.
"So, am I good to fly?"
"Yes." Fluttershy answered as she landed.
"Thank you Flutter. See you around." Then the blue winged pony disappeared into the sky doing some flying practice.
Fluttershy continued on her way home. Then she was tackled by a pink flash.
"Hey Fluttershy want to help me?"
"AWW HAAAAIL NAW!" Fluttershy said pushing the pink land pony off of her chest and headed home again.
She actually got home this time. No more interruptions after Pinkie Pie thank Celestia. The door opened the second she arrived. Fluttershy looked down to see a white rabbit staring up at her.
"Oh hello Angel Bunny, how are you doing?"
Angel made a series of paw motions, that made no sense to me, but somehow made sense to Fluttershy.
"So I don't have to feed the animals?"
Angel shook his head.
"You fed them?"
Angel nodded.
"Oh good, its really late and I'm very tired."
Angel pointed at the bed in the corner.
"Oh Angel, you even fluffed the pillows and washed the blankets for me. Thank you." Fluttershy picked up Angel and hugged him. The bunny tried to push away the pegasus, obviously not liking the cuddle.
"Here's a carrot." Fluttershy said getting a large carrot down from the cupboards and giving it to Angel who began devouring it. Fluttershy went up to her bed and fell sleep instantly. She had a long dreamless sleep. It was roughly 10 at night when she fell asleep. She slept and slept, and woke up just before noon. When she woke up, her pillow wasn't where it normally was. It wasn't even on her bed. She looked around, and it was floating a few feet away. She grabbed it and put it back on her bed. Wait, it was floating?! Fluttershy quickly looked around her two roomed house. She didn't see anypony else. She was tempted to fall asleep again, she had a killer headache. Fluttershy layed her head down, and the pillow was gone, floating in the same place, surrounded by a very light orange. Wait, a light orange? Nopony in Equestria had that color magic, so something was wrong. She looked around, but decided she had to use the bathroom. So she used it.
Fluttershy decided she should wash her face. She was awfully tired after yesterday, so she probably sweated a lot. Fluttershy turned on the faucet and cupped her hooves, she caught a bunch of water and splashed it in her face. Then she looked at the mirror while her face was dripping. What the hay? She had a horn! Fluttershy panicked, she assumed she was dreaming, so she pinched her arm. It hurt, she was NOT dreaming. Maybe it was just some water in her eyes playing a trick on her. So she splashed again and waited longer to dry. She looked again. The horn was still there. Fluttershy checked herself over, still had wings, they were a little bigger than before, and she definitely had a horn. She was an alicorn.

A friend is a friend if that friend is friendly to their friends
Fluttershy looked around. She saw Angel hopping around the floor happily. She ran up to the rabbit. He heard the hoofsteps and looked up at his favorite pony. She had a horn! Angel was so surprised, he fainted, on the spot. Fluttershy didn't see the drama king. She bolted out the door. Fluttershy headed straight for Twilight's tree. Every pony who she passed, stared in amazement at the new found royalty and bowed. Fluttershy didn't care, she just ran until she got to Twilight's house
"TWILIGHT?!" she asked bursting through the doors, wings spread widely in a dramatic pose.
"Fluttershy? Whats wrong?" Twilight asked.
"I think somethings wrong with me."
"What?"
"I think I'm an alicorn."
"What? Of course you aren't, oh my Celestia you are." Twilight said walking up to her friend.
"Do you have any idea how this happened?"
"I have no clue."
"But I do." said a mysterious voice from the corner. The two friends looked, but didn't see any pony.
"Who's there?" Twilight asked, her friend hiding behind her.
"Its me, Luna." the black alicorn said walking out of the corner.
"What, how did this happen though?" Fluttershy asked.
"I asked Celestia to make you an alicorn, and she obviously agreed."
"But why?"
"Because Fluttershy, I love you, and I think you'd make a perfect princess."
"Wait, what?" Twilight asked.
"What do you mean what?" Luna asked.
"You, you LOVE her?"
"Yes, we are going out, didn't you know that?"
"No, I didn't."
"Fluttershy, you lied about us?"
"No Luna, I just, didn't say anything about us." Fluttershy said.
"Why not?" Luna asked. "Are you embarrassed of me?"
"No, its just, I didn't want to tell anypony because I thought they'd make fun of me."
"Oh Fluttershy, its ok. None of your friends are going to make fun of you, real friends like you no matter what." Twilight said, hugging her friend.
"Thank you Twilight." Fluttershy said.
"Just remember, your friends will stand behind you no matter what choices you make, well, unless they lose their legs. Then they can't stand."
"Umm, thanks?"
"Just uhh, don't tell Pinkie for a while, she'll turn it into a party."
"All right Twilight."
"HEY, what are you doing?" Luna glared at Twilight, just noticing the hug.
"I'm just hugging my friend, reassuring her." Twilight said withdrawing her arms.
"Oh, ok then." Luna sat next to Fluttershy and put a wing around the still small pony.
Fluttershy looked up at her marefriend and hugged her.
"Luna, I love you."
"I know you do., and I love you too." Then the two rubbed noses.
Twilight squealed with excitement.
"What?" Luna asked.
"Soarin and Spitfire just broke up! Now is my chance!" Twilight ran out of the tree, dropping the phone she was just checking.
"Why is every mare going for Soarin now?" Luna asked.
"I have no clue." Fluttershy said.
Luna and Fluttershy talked for a while, and eventually, Twilight returned with Soarin in tow.
"Oh, hello Soarin." Luna said obviously still a little mad at him.
"Hi Luna." Soarin replied glaring at her.
"So I suppose you and Twilight are going out now?"
"Yeah, I see you and Fluttershy are a thing."
"Lets go Fluttershy, I don't think this is a good place to stay for us." Luna said as she got up and started leaving.
"Oh, all right." Fluttershy said following Luna. The two walked all the way to the castle.
"Why did we come here?" Fluttershy asked when they stopped in Luna's room.
"To watch how Soarin loses this mare." Luna said making 2 sets of binoculars appear. She handed one to Fluttershy and stared out her window into Twilight's house.
They were playing checkers. Soarin was losing, he took a move, if he could make one move without Twilight taking a turn, he would win. He pointed at the wall, and Twilight turned. While she wasn't looking, Soarin quickly pushed his piece to a new square. When Twilight turned back. She noticed the moved piece. Then it looked like they started yelling. And Soarin left the house, then Luna's phone binged. She checked it, Soarin changed his status to single again.
"Is there anything else he can cheat at?" Luna asked herself.
"I don't know." Fluttershy answered. She set the binoculars down and looked at Ponyville. She was staring at the village when the binoculars floated in front of her again. She grabbed them and set them on the bed again. "Luna, could you help me with magic?" she asked.
"Sure, what do you need?"
"How do I stop using it unintentionally?"
"Well, you just have to live through it for a while, you just got your magic, so its like a baby, the magic is uncontrollable for a while, but you'll eventually master it."
"Oh, great. So, want to go back to Twilight's house?"
"Sure, why not."
Then Fluttershy led the way back to the library. They arrived to see Twilight crying slightly.
"Whats wrong Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.
"Soarin, hes a cheater!" Twilight complained.
"We already knew that."
"I bet you hate me for taking that little jerk, I found out he even cheated on Luna."
"Honestly Twilight, we don't care. We will like you no matter what, you're our friend."
"Thanks, and as long as you like me, I'll always like you." Twilight said as she gave her friend a quick hug.
Girl hits it off with boy
Luna was walking next to Soarin down the hallways of the castle.
"No way, then what happened?" Soarin asked laughing.
"Then, I said, your mom!" Luna said jokingly.
Soarin burst out laughing. "Oh my Celestia that's hilarious! What did she say?"
"She just turned around and walked away."
"That must have been embarrassing!"
"For her."
The two ponies turned the corner to the kitchen to see Celestia with her face halfway in a chocolate cake.
"Sister?!" Luna asked surprised.
Luna looked up and quickly swallowed the mouth full she had.
"Oh, Luna, hi there. I see you and Soarin are still together."
"You made chocolate cake and didn't tell me?"
"Luna, I need to talk to you in private." she said trying her best to sound official."
Celestia walked a little ways away and Luna followed. Soarin waited. Then they started talking when he was out of earshot.
"Luna, I'm happy you found someone and all, but Soarin isn't the one." Celestia said.
"What makes you say that?"
"I know Soarin, he is a cheater. He is a huge celebrity and it gets to his head, he doesn't care about you, he does everything for himself."
"I don't believe you. He is doing this because he likes me!"
"Ok fine, don't take my advice, but when you find out the truth, don't come crying to me."
"Fine, but I'm going to be right, not you."
And with that, the two sisters went back into the kitchen. Luna and Soarin left the room together and Celestia looked at the half devoured cake.
"Well it would be a shame to leave it like this." then Celestia plunged her face in the cake again.
When Luna and Soarin arrived at Luna's room again, they started playing chess, then checkers, then monopoly, then every other board game at their disposal. All the while, they were flirting with each other and cracking jokes. The only thing that could make it better would be hot chocolate. Oh wait, nope, they have hot chocolate. Now the only way to make it better was to add bacon. Mmm bacon. Eventually, they were done with board games. So they went back to jumping on the bed and throwing pillows at nearby objects, just like yesterday. What, that's not what you thought it was? Why do you always suspect my stories have sex references?
"Luna." Soarin said eventually.
"Yes baby?" Luna asked.
"These last few hours made me realize how funny and loving you are. I honestly love you and hope we stay together."
"Aww, me too."
"So, do you want to go on our first official date?"
"Right now?"
"Yeah."
"Where?"
"Sugar Cube Corner."
"Sure."
Then they left for their first date, completely oblivious to the white alicorn following them.
"I will be right, he will turn out to be the stallion of your nightmares." Celestia said to herself as she turned on her night vision goggles.
