What a Mask Shows
Six strangers enter the pavilion. Their only common attribute is the cloak they wear, and the masks on their faces. The world will soon need them, sane or not, as the harmony in Equestria is threatened once more.
It is the past that forms the future. Six ponies are chosen to follow in their ancestors steps. The world has changed since then, but the same challenges face them. This is the story told through the eyes of legends. This is the duty given to a pony when they put on a mask. Many don't realize what is truly shown by a mask.
