Chapters Spartan-1337 in Equestria
An enormous white flash turned the night into a day for a few seconds near in the everfree forest. Something fell from the sky similar to a comet but not quite so, it really didn’t matter because it looked exactly the same and it was going to end up burning itself out in the atmosphere like anything else. Or at least that would’ve been the result were it not for the object being a Spartan weighing about 500 kilo while being protected by the latest piece of equipment armor of the UNSC the Mjolnir mark VI. The Spartan fell from the sky at enormous speeds that could be considered supersonic. Eventually the massive soldier hit ground and by thus created the biggest faceplant recorded in the history of the universe. His armored being locked and his pride shattered along with probably his ribs he decided the very next thing in order of command would be taking an unintended decisive nap. I guess thats what happens when you’re offering to hold a massive defense turret in place for a bunch of engineers to fix it, and then slipping off the surface of the cruiser and falling into deep space to be sucked inside a wormhole. Such is the life of Spartan-1337.
*Golden Oaks Library Ponyville*
“SPIKE!”, The yells of a certain purple unicorn could be hear all around the treehouse while seeking the attention of the only baby dragon in town. “What is it Twilight?”, Spike replied in an annoyed and tired manner “Its 3 in the morning! what could it be that has you so riled up?”
Twilight looked at spike from her bed with a blank stare and replied, “First of all I don't get riled up, I get academically interested. And second, did you hear a blast just now?”
“Only the one from your voice.” Spike deadpanned. “Come on Twi it was probably just your imagination playing tricks on you after forcing yourself into a late night study again. Maybe we should just go to sleep and figure out what happened tomorrow morning.”
“I know Spike its just... I simply can’t ignore such a thing. What if it is another evil entity trying to take over Equestria?” Twilight said to him slowly waking up to be fully aware for any sort of emergency.
“Twilight I think you’ve fought too many monsters. Not every thing out of place is an old forgotten God of Chaos or Dictator. For all we know it could’ve just been a shooting star , believe me that if it were anything we should be concerned about Princess Celestia would probably let us know.” Spike assured purple student. As if on cue Spike belched and a scroll fell on basket.
Twilight, now starting to let her imagination give whatever could be happening a horribly misjudged form, frantically said, “Well? what does it say Spike!? Is Tartarus open!? Has Queen Chrysalis Returned!? Is Discord Evil Again!? Did Sombra somehow came back from the dead and is now seeking revenge over the ones that defeated him!!?”
Spike only stared at her slack jawed and said, “What?.....No it just says that Luna was rearranging some stars, she will send you a map with the changes later on by the way, and lost track of one which fell and crashed probably nearby. See? There was nothing to worry about in the first place, can we go to sleep now?”
“I’m sorry Spike, I think you might be right, doing all this saving Equestria missions might be turning me into a schizophrenic. Its just that I really can’t shake off the feeling that something is wrong or rather off now.” Twilight said apologetically.
“No worries Twilight, maybe some sleep can shake off that feeling.” Spike said as he finally laid head against his pillow ready to return to his precious dreamland filled with ice cream and Rarity. “Maybe you’re right Spike, maybe all I need is sleep.” Said Twilight while laying on her bed and looking out her window into the night.
Ponyville was peaceful tonight without any sort of sound to disturb the world. Everypony dreamed without any sort of idea of the exciting new guest that was about to arrive.
What will Equestria hold for our super soldier? Will he really be conveniently close to Ponyville? Will strange shenanigans caused by the ponies reaction to a mysterious new creature and his strange ways ensue?

Spartan-1337 in Equestria
*Somewhere in the Everfree Forest*
Spartan 1337 woke up at what his HUD recorded to be around 10 am in the morning. His armor had finally unlocked and left him with the capacity to move freely. He would definitely stand up and start figuring out where the hell he was if it wasn’t for the enormous pain coming from his chest. Apparently the fall he had taken really did break some of his ribs. With some pain he was able to turn upward and catch the scenery around him. He appeared to be in some sort of rainforest judging from the flora surrounding him. I guess being lost and alone makes some things more beautiful from time to time.
The day was shining without any sort of clouds in the sky to impede the pass of sunlight. 1337 could stay in this position for a while, after all in the life of a spartan one really never catched much of a break to relax. I think I’ve never felt such a good feeling in my life . The Spartan thought to himself as he slowly moved into a sitting position avoiding as much pain as possible. He was about to check if he brought any sort of weapons when from behind him an enormous growl took place and filled him with dread. Well, the good feeling is gone . He stood still expecting the whatever it was would mistook for some part of the forest. Sadly though, it was apparent that falling through a wormhole left one stinking like an odd mixture of engine oil and burned rubber. The creature before him was obviously aware of him and could probably smell his position about five miles in any direction.
The Spartan inspected the creature that would be planning to either kill him for assaulting its nostrils or eat him for breakfast. It was like a lion, though this odd one appeared to have a scorpion’s tale and batwings. “What kind of fucked up romantic encounter made you!?” The Spartan yelled at the monstrosity before him. This gave the spartan the newly found knowledge that even though the creature couldn’t speak, it could obviously understand him followed by an enormous growl in his face and his wings flaring up in a killing stance. “No worries you foul beast. You shall soon know the power of my assault rifle!” He said as he passed his hand over his back and found that nothing was magnetically attached. *flashback* Here Doc, hold my rifle while I put the turret in place .* * “Shit! Well in that case I guess you just have to deal with my magnum!” He said as he found his empty holster. *flashback* Get my magnum too, my awesomeness could possible be interrupted by the gun. ** “Well thats just bad luck.” The Spartan said while looking at the dumbfounded creature.
I guess there is only one way out of this, the spartan thought. “HOLY CRAP WHAT’S OVER THERE!?”, he shouted while pointing in a random direction. The creature looked away and the spartan took this cue to run the fuck away from the situation. He might’ve been kind of a clutz but he was still a spartan and was capable of running at incredibly fast speeds. Not many things would be able to catch him or even get near him. Eventually after travelling about five miles straight the forest started to fade and he found himself out of it soon enough. When he stopped he found something he wasn’t expecting, something out of stories. He found that he had found a big piece of nothingness in front of him. There were no signs of civilisation whatsoever, only plainfield going up to the horizon. He took a moment to check his com and found that there was no signal whatsoever. The animal he had seen did not match any known living creatures he had learned about. Finally the adrenaline rush the spartan had with his encounter with the beast ran down and it was now time to get another unplanned decisive nap since the pain of such exertion over his broken chest caught up to him. The spartan though didn't faint, he instead just fell to the floor and decided to rest for awhile and think of plan. The day was new and it would probably be best to search for shelter before the night came.
*Ponyville Market*
“Hey Applejack!”, said Twilight gleefully as she approached her cart in the market square. “I’ll take home five red delicious and three granny smiths if I can.”
“Of course ya can sugarcube! Im guessing youre prepping for the week huh?” replied Applejack as she carefully selected her friend’s order.
Twilight simply nodded in response an waited as her apple were loaded onto a basket. She looked around the stall and oddly didnt find Applebloom assisting her sister that day. “Hey wheres Applebloom? Doesnt she usually help you sell the apples at the stall?”
“She usually does, but today she ran off ta talk to her friends of a certain explosion we heard yesterday night.” Applejack answered the whereabout of her little sister. “Do ya happen to know what that ruckus was all about?”
“As a matter fact I do!” replied Twilight happily knowing that for once an explosion didnt meant having to unite the elements of harmony against some sort of evil. “Luna was just re-arranging some stars and one got mishandled and ended landing nearby. Celestia said not to worry about it.”
“Well aint that a pleasant surprise? Nowadays it appears that everythings out ta get us. Hehe.” Applejack said while presenting Twilight with her apples. “Ah reckon that'll be 10 bits.”
“Thank you Applejack, I better get going before Spike finds that hidden ice cream in he freezer he doesnt know I know he searches for.”
Applejack laughed at the image of the little dragon raiding the fridge to search for ice cream. “Take care Twilight, have a nice day.”
Both mares went their separate ways, or rather one went her way and the other kept in her business while continuing with the regular and oddly peaceful day.
Will our hero eventually reach Ponyville? Or will he get into rather strange complications. Stay tuned in for more.
Spartan-1337 in Equestria
*Somewhere in the Outskirts of the Everfree forest*
The Spartan laid flat on his flat on his back while staring at his tormentor in the eyes. The sun slowly cooked the Spartan’s metallic surface as it made his voyage across the sky. It was here that 1337 thanked whoever came up with the body temperature regulation gel,because if it wasn’t for it he would probably be about 2 hours away from becoming a well cooked turkey. He raised his arm nonetheless and flipped the bird at the sun, “Fuck you and your heat sun!” After that he sat up and looked around himself while taking in the vast amount of nothingness in contrast to the thick forest behind him. It appeared that his sense of orientation was fine and as good as it had always been.
Finally he was able to check on himself and his equipment. It was no surprise to find out that his diagnostics reporting some broken ribs, That must’ve been one hell of fall for that to have happened , he thought to himself. He also found he was carrying a bubble shield, an ammo clip, and his combat knife. “The knife would’ve been great in the fight against that fucking beast, I only wish I could say the same for the ammunition clip. What the hell am I supposed to do with this damn thing? Toss the bullets at my enemies and hope it leaves a bump!?”, he sighed and looked at the sky. “This would be so much easier if I had one those AI with me, but noooo apparently I don’t show the capacities to care for one according to the UNSC.” All of the sudden his motion sensor caught some movement behind him at the same time his shields flared up into life. He was unable to move or combat as he usually did because of his injury but he would be damned if he was going without a fight. He turned and kneeled in a forced combat stance while grunting and found that the assailant was mail package. He stared at it and looked into the forest for any more movement. Then without a notice his shield flared again as a book striked the spartan on top of his head followed by another. When he turned up to see where they were coming from, the only words we was able to sputter were, “Oh, no”, as a rain of books fell upon him from the heavens indefinitely burying him alive.
A small voice came from the sky yelling, “My Bad!”, a few seconds later the sound of air and the new dot in his motion sensor told the spartan of the upcoming company. As the apparently small creature landed on the ground it said, “Hello? Is anypony here?”, 1337 decided to stay in his book fortress/burial to assess any possible danger. In front of him what seemed like a horse stood with an unfocused but worried face. It had a gray colored coat of hair and blonde mane, to make her more interesting it appeared to have wings. She appeared to have a small hat and two bags tied to her sides, but what really made the Spartan almost lose himself into laughter was the apparent tattoo it had on its posterior. The Spartan having decided that it was ridiculous to assume danger from such a small creature in the first place. He rose from the book mount while holding a heroic stance, while inside a small tear fell through his cheek because of the pain this caused him, and realized how enormously big he was compared to her. While he expected some sort of fearful or amazed reaction the horse only stood still while looking at him with an unfazed goofy smile. The pregnant silence was only broken when the horse said, “You’re big!” The revelation that this creature was able to talk didn't really strike that hard the Spartan being that he had seen some of the strange wildlife the universe had to offer. He also noted that the horse could very much be a female due to the pitch of her voice. “And you are a talking horse.”, 1337 rebutted towards the creature. “No Mister, I'm Derpy! And also Im a pegasus pony!” The now classified as pegasus pony retorted. “What are you?” Derpy asked as she trotted around him taking in every side of the humongous animal in front of her. “Glad you asked kid!, I’m one of the most powerful warriors in the universe, Spartan 1337!” Right after his glorious introduction he fell to the ground in one knee after he stopped introducing his awesomeness.
Derpy looked at the Spartan with worry and said, “Are you okay mister? Did my books hurt you like this?”
The Spartan looked towards her as he got into a more comfortable stance and replied, “Please don’t make me laugh, it would take a lot more than just some books to hurt me like this. By the way why are you carrying some many books anyway? What are you, a librarian?”
Derpy laughed, “They’re not MY books dummy, they are an order. I’m a mailmare and this books are supposed to arrive to the Ponyville bookstore.” She said as she nodded at her saddlebags filled with letters.
“So wait what you’re telling me is that you are the Postal Service? And this is your cargo?”, 1337 said as he looked on the pile of books. “You screwed up big time didn’t you?”
“Im sorry, its just that sometimes I screw up because I get distracted or something. Ponies think I’m a clutz and that I screw everything up but I always try my best. I wish I wouldn’t be so clumsy from time to time.”, Derpy sadly said as she lowered her head to the ground.
Having noticed he touched a sensitive subject, and he having known what shes been through went and placed his hand on the pony’s had. “Come on kid its not that bad, those books just need a little dusting off thats all. If it makes you feel any better I can bet I’m an even bigger clutz than you are.”, the Spartan pondered for a while and then followed, “Listen, I will tell you how I got injured but you must not tell anyone. And even if you do I’m going to deny it completely okay?”
Derpy slowly looked up and nodded towards the Spartan. During the following minutes her face changed from sorrow to surprise and finally into concern as 1337 retold the sequence of events that got him where he was now. “So you really fell from space!?” Derpy asked as she lifted herself from the ground with her wings to the exciting story. 1337 only looked at her and nodded which made the pegasus look at him with amazement. That suddenly changed when she remembered about him being hurt, “Mister you told me you’re hurt do you need a doctor? I get myself into problems a lot so I know a really good one. I can take you to him if you would like?”
The Spartan looked around the environment for one last time before sighing and realizing that was really his only option. I really can’t believe I’m asking a PONY for help. If anyone ever finds out about this they’ll give me a bigger torment than that time I told my peers about that AI that saved me from a blue covenant ape . “Yes Derpy, I would greatly appreciate your help.”
The Pegasus became unexpectedly cheerful and said, “Alright! You’re not going to regret this mister!” She said as she grabbed the Spartan from the shoulders and attempted to drag him. That idea was quickly shot down as the pegasus was only capable of moving the spartan a few inches before she said, “Wow you are really heavy mister spartan!” while wiping some sweat from her forehead. “Its the cost of being awesome kid. Don’t worry though, I can stand by myself but a little help would be great.”
After they managed to find a way in which both could move together they went on towards Ponyville. After a few meters the Spartan said, “By the way, what are you going to o about those books?” to which Derpy replied, “What books?” The Spartan made a mental note to never trust the postal service in this world, and to advise anyone about those books being there after his wounds are treated.
* Ponyville*
Twilight had just finished her grocery shopping and was on her way back to the library with her saddlebags filled to brim with various food items like apples and a carton of eggs. She could already see the treehouse when something else caught her eye. A newspaper stand displayed the frontpage with a few pictures of the night sky. The title said in big bold letters “Meteorite falls on the outskirts of Manehattan! Hundreds startled!” She looked at the paper and though, That can’t be right , she ended up being the newspaper and drew upon a conclusion. She tucked the newspaper in her saddlebags and went straight to Applejack’s apple stand. When should found it she was out of breath and sweating. “Howdy Twilight! What’s going on? Did ya forget something?”, Applejack said evidently noticing the distress in her friend. “Sugarcube is everything alright?”, Applejack pressed further after no actual response came from her breathless friend. After a few more seconds Twilight said frantically, “Applejack I need you to get the girls and meet me in the Library, its very important. I think it has to do with the explosion of yesterday. I don’t really have time to explain right now, just meet me at the library and I’ll tell you about it.” After saying that she sped towards the Library herself and leaving a very confused and concerned Applejack.
