The Cold in My Heart

Iceflake flashed back to when we was a colt. He was a lighter shade of blue. His mane was longer and barely covered his eyes. His body looked as if he was no older than 10. He was an extremely smart colt, top of his class. He was smart, which meant he was very picked on. He was the only colt in his entire class that had no friends. Iceflake was studying his favorite subject, Magic 101 in class when his bully, Golden Scroll, came up and smacked the book out of his hooves.

"Hey Iceflake! What are you doing chump?" He asked, smuggly.

"I'm studying. You really need to back off, chump." Iceflake said, picking up his book. Golden Scroll hoofed Iceflake in his arm.

"If anypony is the chump, it's you! I'm the best unicorn ever. So stop making me look bad. Got that Iceboy?" Golden said coldly.

Iceflake looked up at the golden unicorn and blew in his face. "Fine. But I'm not going to hide it out side of school." He stated.

Golden Scroll hoofed Iceflake again. He began beating him mercilessly. Iceflake was being bruised over and over again. He looked over to his best friend, Silver Pace. He was standing by the chalkboard and watching the whole thing. As Iceflake was being beaten, he weakly rose his hoof. His eyes were begging for help. Silver Pace just looked at Iceflake's beating, then snorted and walked away. Iceflake's eyes began to water as his best friend just walked away.

"Silver Pace.....why?" He said, as he continued being beaten worse and worse. It was a long, painful twenty minutes before ponies pulled Golden Scroll off of Iceflake. Iceflake was lighty bleeding, and badly bruised. The teacher reached out a hoof to help Iceflake, but he pushed it away and slowly got up. He didn't want anypony to be near him. He ran out the door and kept running. He felt so betrayed, his best friend since they were foals just walked away.

"I never want anything to do with ponies ever again!" Iceflake yelled as he ran away from his home in Canterlot, never wanting to return.

"That's why I hate other ponies." Iceflake said.
