Twilight's House

Ed had been helping Twilight and Pinkie clean up the house as there were cups and food scattered among the tables. Rarity had come by earlier and picked up the CMC while also dropping off a set of clothes as a welcome gift to Ponyville. Rainbow had left in a dash as she avoided the task of cleaning, which she thought was "uncool". Ed hadn't seen Applejack assuming that she had left after their talk outside causing the human to sigh as he recalled the memory. That left Fluttershy, who left right as the party ended after hiding behind other pony's as she had watched the human from afar. Ed shrugged as he continued collecting trash and food off the tables, dumping them into a garbage bag as he collected them. He had cleared his table soon enough and looked around to see the other two mare's progress. Twilight was using her magic to clear her table a lot faster as the garbage bag was instantly filled to the top. He then looked over to Pinkie Pie who, too his surprise, had finished her table and the rest of the tables as well. Ed blinked and shook his head as he looked at all the bags she had filled up.

"How did you?....." Was all Ed said as Twilight suddenly patted Ed on the shoulder.

"Don't think about it, it'll only hurt your brain." The unicorn said as she took her hand off the human and walked over to pink mare thanking her as she levitated the bags out of the house.

Ed rubbed his head as he felt a headache coming along as he tried thinking about how one pony could clean all those tables in such a short amount of time. He stopped thinking about it and grabbed his garbage bag as he walked outside to where the dumpster was. He threw the bag along with the rust of the trash and started to walk back in but stopped mid-way as he took a second to look up to the night sky and gaze at the moon.

"Man I wish Earth's moon was as pretty as the one on this world." Ed said to himself as he looked upon it's beauty.

"My sister would probably blush if she knew you were talking about her moon." A sudden voice said causing Ed to turn his head.

Ed saw as Celestia walked up to his side and gazed up at the moon. Ed looked back up to the moon as he stood by the Princess.

"How did the meeting with the mayor go?" Ed asked

"She's know's that your living here now so that's a start." Celestia said smiling as she turned her head to the human.

Ed smiled and was about to look back up to the moon before Celestia spoke again.

"You never talk about your family huh Ed?" Celestia asked causing Ed to freeze.

"I don't really wanna talk about them." Ed said looking away from Celestia avoiding the question.

"Really now?" Celestia questioned sounding unconvinced "You never told me that your family was a teacher and a big log." Celestia said causing Ed to tense up.

Ed looked back at the Princess as she had a serious expression on her face. Ed just chuckled.

"You didn't tell me that you were gonna have a 24/7 watch on me either Princess."

Celestia blinked before she causally smiled. "What are you talking about-" Suddenly the Princess stopped, she looked at Ed who was staring at her cold eyes as he walked up to her.

"Really now?" Ed said sounding unconvinced. Ed stood before her as he brought up his hand and suddenly threw a fist barely missing the Princesses face.

The Princess hadn't seen it coming but he had held a plastic knife in his fist as he now pressed it against the Princesses neck.

Celestia didn't understand why he would use such a thing as a weapon but suddenly pieced it together as 5 cloaked figures came out of there hiding spots and surrounded her and Ed.

"Drop the knife!" One of the cloaked stallions said as he fired up his horn ready to blast Ed followed by the rest of the stallions as they took off their hood's and readied their attack.

"Stand Down!" Celestia said as she gave the stallions a command holding out her hand telling them to stop.

"But Princess!?" One of the stallions said as he faltered in his stance.

They soon understood why as Ed smiled and brought the plastic knife away from the Princesses neck, showing it to the stallions letting realization hit. There cover had been blown...

"I knew you guys wouldn't see the plastic knife clearly enough from the distance you were at, you thought this was a real knife and came your Princesses aid... how noble." Ed sarcastically said tossing the plastic firmware into the trashcan behind him.

They were at a loss of words as they stood there looking at the human before the Princess had spoke.

"Dismissed." Celestia said as she looked at the group of stallions.

They all stood straight and bowed "Yes, your Highness!"

Ed watched as the 5 stallions disappeared into the night and then turned to the Princess who was trying to find the right word's to say to Ed.

"You overheard me and Applejack, huh?" Ed turned away from Celestia sounding emotionless.

She paused before speaking "Yes... But-"

"But what?" Ed asked turning around and looking at the Princess. He stared at her with anger in his eyes causing the Princess to feel guilty.

"I needed to know..." She said watching Ed chuckle.

"Know what... Huh? That I'm not a danger to your subjects?" Ed spat as the Princess looked down at the floor.

"Let me tell you something Princess, My past is my past, so keep out of it." Edward said turning back to Twilight's house.

Celestia was going to say something, but couldn't find the words. She was a thousand years older than this human and still didn't know what to say. She just sighed and looked up too see Ed's back as he continued to slowly walk towards Twilight's house. She fired up her horn and teleported back to the castle where she could get back to her royal duties.

Ed heard the Princess disappear and let out a breath as he looked back up to the sky.

"If only they knew who I really was." Ed said to himself as he stood there alone enjoying the night sky.

"I know you are!" A sudden pink blur said as Ed looked back down to see Pinkie Pie smiling bright.

"And who would that be?" Ed chuckled as he gave a grin.

"A human who has a dark past and has a dark side to match." Pinkie said giving the human a grin back.

Ed blinked before laughing "Haha! Nice one Pinkie, I think that's the weirdest one you told me yet." Ed said laughing causing the mare to laugh as well.

Just then Twilight walked out into the night with them and tilted her head at the sight.

"What are you two laughing about?" The purple unicorn asked wanting to understand the joke.

"Nothing, Twilight, nothing." Ed said looking to the pink mare next to him.

Note to self, this one is dangerous.

Home

Ed had arrived at his new home around 10 o'clock. He had his hands full as he entered the apartment with stacks of books and clothes from both the purple and white unicorn. Ed yawned as he walked up the stairs and to his room. He had just about started walking down the hallway before he noticed that Octavia was leaning against the wall next to his door. Ed was already done with people trying to get to personal with him today and felt a headache coming along as he approached his room.

"What do you want Octavia." Ed asked sounding annoyed more than questionable.

"Nothing at all, Edward... Just wanted to ask a you something." Octavia said in her emotionless tone.

"Help me into my room and I'll answer whatever it is you have to ask." Ed said lifting his bags a little indicating that they were heavy.

Octavia just nodded while she opened the door for Ed. As he put his bags down, gave a sigh, and began to turn around to face Octavia.

"Now what is it that you wanted to as-" Ed stopped speaking as he noticed that the mare was lacking some clothing.

Ed tried to stop looking but kept staring as his eyes went up and down her body. Finally Ed snapped out of it and looked away feeling his cheeks turn red.

"Wha-What are you doing!?" Ed stuttered as he tried to look at the mare but kept looking away. She just stood there with no clothes on.

"You said that only the pony I love should get to see me naked, right?" Octavia said in a semi-confused voice.

"Yeah but how does that-" Ed's mind clicked as he understood what was happening. This was her confessing.

Okay for the story's sake I'm going to end this chapter here. I have everything planned out but for god's sake it's so hard getting it written out the way I want it. I hope you like this chapter. I don't. But for the story to progress it had to be done.
