Ed was carrying Spitfire on his back due to her inability to walk since her foot sprained somehow during the fall. She wasn't complaining about it though and tried to seem tough when she got up and tried to walk earlier. As Ed convinced her to let him carry her he noticed that she had a armband with a familiar symbol on it that resembled the Wonderbolts symbol. After closer inspection he noticed that she also had a pair of goggles around her neck.

"So your not a pony are you?" Spitfire asked as she played with Ed's braid.

"Alright you got me, I'm a ghost" Ed said as he turned left following the path.

"Haha very funny" She said while giving his braid a little tug.

Ed just laughed as he kept on walking thinking about his watch and what he held inside of himself.

"Soooo... is my savior gonna tell me what he is?" The mare asked as she put her head on the humans shoulder.

"Oh, I'm a human from another universe" Ed said as he looked to his right noticing the mare staring at him.

"Hmmmm..." She hummed as she was getting closer to Ed's face making the human nervous.

She stayed there only a inch away from his face before she smiled and wrapped her arms around his him.

"If you weren't so young I'd kiss you" She said while she chuckled.

"What makes you think I'm young?" Ed asked perplexed as to why she would think that.

"Well older ponies are usually taller so..." Spitfire trailed off as she felt a sudden chill go down her spine. She stopped talking all together as she let out a awkward laugh.

"So uh... how old are you anyway, I'm 22 by the way" She said while Ed chuckled.

"For your information Spitfire I'm 20" Ed said while smiling.

"What?! You look like your younger though!" Spitfire said while looking at him over his shoulder.

"Hahaha, now what did you say about that kiss" He said while he looked back forward with a smug on his face.

He really didn't expect it but suddenly he felt the a hand on his left cheek pushing his face towards the mare. He stopped walking and was going to ask what she was doing but suddenly felt the mare lips on his as she held his head there. After a few seconds she let the kiss go, hiding her head behind his back. Ed just smiled as he kept on walking.

"Aren't you supposed to be the older one here?" Ed asked as he chuckled making the mare "hmph"

All of a sudden he felt the mare pulling on his braid as he carried her laughing now.

Ponyville Hospital

"God I hate hospitals"

Ed had his arms crossed as he leaned against the wall waiting for Spitfire to finish up. He had found an outlet earlier so he was charging his phone while he watched the clock tick by.

"If I stop time does it use up more of my time, or does slowing and stopping time just waste my time at equal rates" Ed thought as he pulled out his pocket watch. He wondered if the watch itself had any abilities itself being the lock for his powers and all. He threw up the watch and caught it as it came back down.

"Wait... If I have a time limit... does that mean I have to wait for my time to recharge?" Ed thought as he looked at his watch.

Ed looked down the hall both ways spotting only a few ponies walking here and there. Ed looked back to his watch and sighed. In a quick motion he slammed the watch into the wall he leaned against and felt the watch disappear from his hand. He suddenly felt his body become lighter again as he registered that he entered Unleashed mode. He looked both ways as he saw that ponies were still walking in a normal pace throughout the hall. Ed didn't feel the headache he felt from earlier as he waited for the pain to come.

"Let me give you a hint" Somepony said as Ed heard the familiar voice again.

Ed looked up to the source of the voice and saw the red eyed man laying on the ceiling.

"You can only use about 1/4 of your powers while in Unleashed mode due to the fact that you can't control your other side" The man explained as he floated down and stood across from him as he leaned on the wall.

"Your powers recharge fast mattering on your current status back in human mode, if your resting then its charges fast, if your doing something... physical, then it charges very slowly"

Ed nodded as he the man twirled his cane but quickly remembered something.

"Oh yes! Your watch can do stuff to" The man said making Ed tilt his head.

"Stuff?" Ed replied making the man nod.

"Hehe yep, stuff" The man smirked suddenly disappearing.

Ed watched as the man faded away before sighing. "Well shit" Ed said while he got up from the wall and walked over to the table where his phone was.

Ed was going to pick up his phone but noticed that there was something catching his attention. There was a mirror above the table where his phone was. It wasn't the mirror that bothered him but his reflection. His eyes were blue. He looked again closer and saw that they were in fact, blue.

"What the?" Ed said as he now had something else to think about.

"CLAP YOUR HANDS"

"What?" Ed said out loud as he heard a sudden voice echo through his mind.

"Just listen to this guy and do it already!"

Ed turned around and saw nobody there but... frozen ponies. Ed looked the other way down the hall and saw that ponies down there were frozen too in place. Ed didn't feel the pain he felt earlier in his head.

"Just do it already will ya!"

Ed didn't know what to do but he suddenly found himself raising his hands. He didn't know why he was doing but just smirked.

"This better be good!" He said as clapped.

Suddenly he felt his clothes shift as the shirt and shorts he wore were suddenly replaced with a new set of clothes.

Ed let his hands rest to his side as he looked at his new setup. The red coat went down past his knees as had a hood to. He had a black under jacket with a black undershirt and black pants that felt snug and perfect. He didn't know what was going on but he liked it.

'I guess this is one of Unleashed modes perks huh" Ed said out loud as he checked himself out.

"We'll be in touch" He suddenly heard from the back of his head before feeling the pain again. He quickly deactivated the watch as the pain was more heavy this time. He saw his clothes change back to normal and the watch reappear back in a orb of white. He grabbed his watch as he felt the pain go away and time resume.

Back in human form Ed picked up his phone and charger as he put it back into his bag. Ed let out a sigh as he took a seat now in one of the nearby chairs.

"Man I'm not messing with this crap anymore" Ed said before hearing the door next to him open.

He looked to his right and saw Spitfire being pushed out in a wheel chair. Ed quickly noticed the annoyed expression on her face and went to her side.

"I'll take if from here, Miss Redheart" He said to the nurse smiling as he read her name tag.

The nurse stared at him before looking to Spitfire who gave the nurse a nod. The nurse let go of the wheelchair and smiled.

"You better take good care of her" The nurse said as she began walking away with a smile on her face.

Ed watched the mare leave before looking back to Spitfire who was trying to get up from her wheelchair.

"Woah Woah what are you doing?" Ed asked as he put a hand on the mares shoulder pushing her back into her seat.

"Ugh, you can't expect me to roll around in this wheelchair looking all weak!?' Spitfire said as she angrily looked at the human.

Ed frowned. "Would you rather crawl around?" Ed asked immediately shutting up the mare.

Ed waited for the mare to answer but found her getting comfortable in her seat before grunting.

"Good girl" Ed smiled as he began pushing her towards the exit.

Spitfire mumbled something before laying back in her seat. It only took them a good minute to reach the exit as Ed checked the mare out of the hospital. With that done they went out into the streets of Ponyville where Ed quickly realized his situation.

"Spitfire where do you live?" Ed asked hoping that the books he read where incorrect.

"In the sky" Spitfire said while sighing. "And I need my feet to lift off"

Ed sighed as he began pushing her towards his apartment.

"Huh? Where are we going?" Spitfire asked while looking back at Ed.

"A place called Home" Ed said while he made his way down the street.

5 Minutes Later

"This is where you live?" Spitfire asked while staring at the broken down apartment.

"Yep!" Ed said in a cheery voice trying not to sound depressed by the fact that he did in fact live here.

"Come on lets get you inside" Ed said as he opened the gate and wheeled in the mare.

"M!" Ed shouted causing the mare to jump a little in her seat.

"Who are you calling to?" Spitfire asked as she looked around and saw no one in sight.

Just then Ed heard the door unlock and a familiar friend pop in through the door.

"Hey Ed" M said as she waved. She noticed that he had company and mischievously smiled.

"My My I didn't know you where bringing home a girl" M said while snickering.

"Yeah yeah can you open the door I got my hands full right now" Ed said watching the ghost giggle as she faded back through the door.

"Huh?" Spitfire said while watching the door open.

Ed went ahead and pushed her through the door before she asked anymore questions. Inside Ed saw that Berry Punch was passed out in the main room with only her shorts on and nothing else as she laid spread out on the coach with a bottle of wine in her hand empty. Ed glared at M who just shrugged.

"I'm just a ghost" She said while Ed sighed picking Spitfire.

"Woah what are you doing!?" The mare asked as she looked at the half naked mare then Ed.

"Sorry your gonna have to sit here for a while I tend to my roommate" Ed said putting Spitfire down on a nearby chair.

"Um... okay" The mare said while scratching the back of her head trying not to look at the passed out mares chest as she noticed that it was way bigger then hers.

Ed put his bag down as he went to Berry's side removing the bottle of wine from her hand and picking her up like a Princess while calling out to the ghost. "M" He said outloud.

"I'm on it" She said while floating ahead of Ed to open the mares room.

Ed walked down the hall and saw Berry's door open with the help of M and he walked in. Ed must of have stopped thinking because as soon as he entered the mares room he immediately drew a blank. There was bottles of empty wine in one corner of the room and a pile of clothes in the other. There was a table in the middle with more empty bottles and a bed with just a sheet on it against the wall. Ed just sighed more as he moved to the mares bed not noticing the bottle in front of his foot. Ed tripped and fell forwards with the mare still in his arms as they both landed on the bed.

Ed opened one of his eyes and saw darkness. He moved his hand to see where he was and felt a soft feeling. He used his other hand to find a flat surface and pushed himself up to see where he was. Ed gulped as he saw where he was a where his hand was. Ed's hand covered one of Berry s boobs as her hair covered the other side. Ed quickly removed his hand and slowly got up before noticing the mares eyes. They were slightly open. Upon further inspection he saw that the mare had a coat of red covering her cheeks and her breathing had changed.

He didn't know what was going to happen next but heard his name being called from the hall.

"Edward?" He heard as he looked back to the door.

He looked to the mare before smiling. "Sorry" And with that he got up from the bed and exited the mares room closing the door behind him.

He took a breath as he looked down the hall and saw M floating there with a stupid look on her face as she tried not to laugh. Ed just deadpanned causing the mare to shut up for a few seconds before bursting out with laughter.

"I swear Ed your luck sometimes!" She laughed as she held her stomach.

Ed just ignored her and made his way down the hall where he found Spitfire being eyed by Octavia. He walked up to the two before Octavia looked at Ed and pointed at the pegasus.

"What is she doing here" Octavia asked in her monotone voice.

Ed sighed and for the millionth time he's been on this planet before speaking. "She's injured, she needs a place to stay, she's staying here"

"In who's room?" Octavia asked as Ed already knew how the violinist would act.

"Mine" Ed said causing the mare to glare at him.

Just then Octavia turned with a "hmph" and walked up stairs leaving the two alone.

"What was that about?" Spitfire asked as she looked over to the stairs where the mare had been.

"I don't know... let's get you settled in okay" Ed said while smiling at the pegasus who nodded.

Minutes Later

"You don't have a lot of stuff do you? Spitfire asked while scanning his room.

She saw that he had a little table in the middle where you could sit down at. A work desk that had some kind of console on it and some other stuff. A closet full of clothes with nothing else in it but just the clothes. The room itself was pretty big, it could fit about three beds plus this master bed she was sitting on. She looked around again and saw that he was messing with his calender.

"What are you doing?" She asked curious as to what he was doing.

"Huh? Oh nothing, just messing around I suppose" He said as he turned around and walked over to his desk putting the pencil down.

Ed remembered that he charged his phone while waiting for Spitfire and reached over to his bag and got it out. He also put some of his books back while he was at it. With that done he activated his phone while moving to the little table where he sat down on the floor. He looked over to Spitfire who was staring at the human for some reason making him uneasy.

"What's up?" Ed asked watching as the mare slid off his bed and crawled her way to the side of the table.

"Why are you doing this for me?" She asked as she now sat cross legged across from Ed.

Ed blinked before smiling. "No reason, you needed help and that was it" Ed said while watching the mare's expression.

She just stared at him like she was trying to figure him out. "But you don't even know me that well? What if I was someone dangerous?"

He just smiled as he remembered something from his past.

"Let me tell you a story" He said as the mare blinked but nodded.

"A long time ago there was a human trapped on an island with dangerous people who wanted to kill him" Ed began while the mare suddenly leaned in at the sound of danger.

"One day that human found one of those people dying and in need of a help" Ed said while the mare waited patiently.

"Do you want to know what the human did?" Ed asked as the mare nodded.

"The human helped that them" Ed said while giving a soft smile.

The mare was confused. "Wait why did he help them if he knew they were trying to kill him?"

Ed just kept on smiling as he brought out his pocket watch. "It's because that human made a promise to someone very dear to him... to always help those in need no matter what it was"

Spitfire looked at the human as he stared at his watch with a soft smile on his face. She grinned and crawled over to him. As she reached him she gave him a hug catching the human off guard.

"What's this for?" Ed asked.

"For my human that helped me" She said while snuggling up against him.

Ed just smiled before hearing his phone ring. Ed looked on the table and saw that it was a call. Ed picked up his phone and saw that it was "Fatty" on the other end.

Ed looked to Spitfire who nodded letting go of the human. Ed answered it.

"Hey Celestia what's up?" Ed asked as he put the phone to his ear.

"[Read your text]" Was all he heard from the Princess before he heard her hang up.

Ed looked at his phone confused before going to his text and blinking. Ed re-read the text making sure he read it right. Spitfire saw the expression on his face and poked him.

"What's wrong Edward?" She asked as he looked to the window and got up and moved to it.

Ed stood silent for a while before asking her a question. "Why were you falling out of the sky?"

"Oh that's right I didn't tell you! I was doing some training flying as fast as I could but didn't see the cloud of smoke that I was heading for, when I entered it I couldn't breath or slow down and ended up free falling" She said as she got up using her good foot.

"Why?" Spitfire asked as she hopped over to him.

Ed turned around and looked at her with a smile on his face, "Because a dragon made that smoke" He said with stars in his eyes.

"A dragon!?" She said confused as to why he was so happy about a fire breathing dragon making that smoke in the air.

"Yes a dragon!" Ed said as he moved to the work desk and grabbed his bag and stuff.

"But aren't dragons dangerous?" She said sounding concerned.

"I've only read about them in books but I've never seen one in face to face yet" Ed said as he put the bag over his shoulder and made sure he had his watch and phone before going back to the window.

"Wait what do you mean face to face?" She asked sounding worried now.

"I mean I have to go see a huge fire breathing dragon!" He said excited as he put a foot on to the window.

"What!?!?" Spitfire said as she tried to make sense of Ed.

"I'll be back by night, M take care of our guest okay!" Ed shouted as he turned back to the window and jumped out of it.

"Wait who's M!" She asked in a hurry as she saw him leave but was too late as the human was now gone.
