"The cold night is cold" Ed said to no one in particular as he laid on the roof of his apartment with his shirt off. He wasn't really complaining as the temperature never bothered him no matter how high or how low it was. He was just talking to himself to pass the time as he stared at the moon solemnly thinking to himself.

"Should I have left everyone there in Canderlot? Is Diamond Tiara okay with my friends? Will she tell them anything?" These were only some of the few questions running through his mind as he sat there starring at the moon.

"The moon..." He thought as he looked upon its beauty.

He sat up and took a breath of fresh air as he looked in the distance seeing nothing but lit street post and houses in front of him.

"Hey Moonlight" He called out wondering if she was there.

He waited a few seconds as the wind blew on till he got a reply.

"Sensed me again have you" A feminine voice said as Ed felt the wind shift beside him.

"Naw, just wondered if you were there was all" Ed said as he kept on staring in front of him watching as a street post lamp kept flickering on and off.

"What troubles you Edward?" Moonlight said as Ed felt a sudden presence at his side.

He looked to his right were he thought Moonlight was and then sighed as he looked back to the street post.

"I think I went overboard today, like I let myself go to far and I should have known better" Ed said casually as his mindless expression didn't change as he starred still at the lamp.

"Well we all go overboard sometimes Ed, some more than others, and believe me I know I have" Moonlight said as he heard the regret in her voice plain as can be,

"Yeah... I guess so" Ed said as he looked up to the moon.

Ed already had enough on his plate, with the dragon that somehow didn't set him on fire, possibly having a actually relationship with a farmer that might or might not work out, and the ponies that spy on Ed and are possible still watching him right now, then lastly his mysterious power and the man from the watch that may know something about his father. Ed just sighed as he didn't have any clues as to what to do or who to ask or where to look. As he stared at the moon it hit him.

A thought came across as he looked at the shape of the moon. It wasn't weird but it was just a quarter of it showing. Now anyone would look at the moon and say "Oh the moons out because it's night time" but never really pay attention to the shape nor care for the name its given for each percentage of it shown. He thought about this deeply before coming to a conclusion.

"Maybe the signs are all there, but I'm just not paying attention and seeing them" Ed thought to himself as he started thinking about his past events.

What did see that he might have missed, who did he know that would strike him as suspicious, and lastly where were they and what were they doing.

"Moonlight I'm heading to bed early" He said suddenly as he got up and dusted his pants off.

"Alright, but why the sudden lack of sleep?" Moonlight asked curious to the sudden outburst.

Ed was already in a good mood as he turned the Moonlight, that and the fact that he knew who she was for quite sometime and smiled.

"No reason, I just hope this beautiful and sexy Princess meets me in my dreams tonight so I can confess to her" Ed said smirking as he got the reaction he wanted out of "Moonlight" as he heard the invisible mare say "Huhwah?"

5 Minutes Later

Ed awoke in his own dreamland as he floated down to the invisible white ground awaiting him. As he feet made contact he saw the orbs of memories start whizzing past him in lines. They scattered all over the place not organized or anything as they just sat in the air floating about. Ed was about to get to work but suddenly felt the presence of the Princess and chuckled at how fast her response time was. He turned around and froze.

The blush was barely invisible and her eyes were averting his as she kept her hands behind her back obviously playing them as she was nervous. She had this expression on her face that said "Please" that matched her whole body language as she kept moving one of her legs slightly up and down the other as if she was waiting for something important.

Ed liked to tease, though when he did, he did it without thinking because he was probably in a good mood at the time. This had one one of those moments were he should have watched his words as he was addressing the Princess of the Night, the Co-Ruler of Equestria, Celestia's sister for Celestia's sake. Because now he had to deal with an actual Princess, one that had been released from her evil state not to long ago, who's sister would kill him if he hurt her, and the only thought that crossed his mind was.

"Herd"

Polygamy was a thing here and it was totally legal and openly shared among ponies. Though Ed wasn't a pony he and rather adapted to the new world quickly, though he wasn't that fast at adapting. The thought never crossed him of having such a relationship but now that the idea came across, his mind wasn't thinking as the beautiful mare in front of him blushed and moved her body like a nervous teenage girl. He quickly calmed himself as he thought straight for a second.

"Does she know I'm dating Applejack? Are polygamy relationships the only kind of relationships here? Or is it common to start with one and work your way up? And why is she getting closer?"

While Ed was thinking he didn't notice her move up to him as she was now face to face with him. He lost his breath and train of thought as he noticed her eyes and how they were looking at him, with such passion and emotion.

"Oh dear god I royally screwed up" Ed thought to himself as she got even closer leaning towards him.

She stopped about a couple inches from his face but still basically touching his body with hers as he now realized that he was up against a invisible wall. How that got there he didn't know but she was waiting for an answer as he needed to give it to her before the situation got out of hand.

"Luna, I-"

She kissed him. putting her lips onto his but something was off... it felt... real.

He slowly opened his eyes seeing the dark room indicating that it was still night time. He full opened them realizing that what he felt was real as the darkness he saw wasn't the ceiling he saw on top of him but actually Luna as her lips were on his. He quickly lifted himself up releasing Luna from his lips for a brief moment only to be brought back down as she forced her lips back onto his.

"Mmph!" Ed managed to say as he couldn't escape her mouth without actually forcing her off him. He quickly wrapped his arms around the Princess as he was going to try and push her to the side hopefully stopping her but she suddenly slipped her tongue in. He couldn't breath as her tongue wrestled his for dominance until he finally flipped her over to side finally getting his mouth free as he laid on top of her using his hands to raise himself up so that he wasn't entirely putting he weight on top of her. He was going to get up and away but stopped any movement as he looked at the scene below him.

The Princesses head laid between his hands as he hovered over her face to face. Her legs were parted to his sides as he was on his knees in the middle of her. He couldn't think straight as she laid there with her own arms sprawled out above her on the bed as she huffed obviously out of breath. Her face was the thing that got him. The way her eyes were dim, her mouth slightly open ready for him to kiss her again, and her tongue slightly visible. The blush didn't help him as his mind raced and his heart pounded. He didn't know what to do. But he found himself slowly lowering his head until his mouth met hers. And they danced again in the moonlight.
