*Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang*

Velvet just sat there on the ground as the item went off rapidly, she didn't know what just happened but had a blank stare as there seemed to be a white noise feeling her ears like she was deaf. She probably was from all the loud popping the item made as Ed seemed to not care about it as he had a disgruntled look on his face as he used the item again making more popping sounds before.

*Click**Click*Click*

"Shit" Was all she heard him say as he threw the item away and knelled to her.

"Come with me, Now!" Velvet heard him barely as the white noise was still in her ears.

She was suddenly up as Ed pulled her up to her feet. As soon as she was on her feet she felt him push her behind himself as they started moving towards what looked like a cave. Velvet was still confused as to what was happening till she turned and look past Ed and saw them. Wolfs. These weren't any that she saw back home in pictures or tales. These were something else and they looked dangerous. There were at least 6 of them surrounding them, maybe more.

"..."

She thought she heard something under the white noise as she looked to Ed only to see himself suddenly move as a wolf jumped at him. Ed grabbed the wolf by the fur and quickly spun it around knocking it into the next wolf that came at him. As another wolf was already within reach he knee'd it in the head and quickly punched it down into the ground. When a wolf finally got to close for comfort Ed raised his arm letting it bite it before he turned his head and screamed.

"Run!"

There was no more white noise as her eyes widened and she quickly turned. She took off without hesitation as she heard more grunting come from Ed and the wolfs. She almost tripped as she ran as fast as she could but was no runner with the rocky terrain the cave had. She ran for a good minute before finally feeling out of breath. As she slowly came to a stop she noticed she was coming to an opening. As she neared it she slowed started walking and saw that there was no more room to run as a there was only another cliff within reach but the jump was too far below to make. Even more down below was only a swift death awaiting her as she noticed the long way down to the ground. She kept looking for another way out but couldn't find one but the other entrance on the other side of the room. The place she was in looked so beautiful with the greenery on the sides of the walls and the plants that grew on the little ledges here and there. Ledges...

Then it hit her. She could use the ledges to cross to the other side. She looked back not seeing Ed and but could still hear the fighting going on. She made up her mind as she looked back to the other cliff and nodded. With that she moved to the first ledge and began her descent. She moved with caution as she never rock climbed before and knew if she slipped even once, it could mean death. Within minutes she was almost there. She was about a quarter of the way down and almost completely over the cliff as she could make the jump if she tried. That's when she heard the noises get louder and she stopped moving to see what was happening. Carefully she turned and saw nothing at first as she looked at the cliff above her were Ed would be. Then suddenly Ed slid onto the edge cliff with a wolf on top of him as it tried to bite his face off. Within seconds Ed kicked the wolf off and disappeared from her view only to hear more yelping come from the wolfs.

She was about to start moving again but then saw as Ed jumped off the upper cliff and aimed to the lower one. She turned her head to see the lower cliff below her and saw Ed roll to a stop on the ground making it perfectly. She just huffed as she had to climb down but suddenly heard Ed call out to her.

"Jump, I'll catch you!" He shouted as she looked back down to him and saw him with his arms out, one of them completely bloody.

"Are you insane!? You'll hurt yourse-" Without warning her hand slipped and was slowly beginning to fall backwards. She only reacted as fast as she could as she turned herself forward and kicked off the wall towards the cliff Ed was on. For a second she was free falling with her eyes closed before she felt the stop. She felt the hand around her wrist as she opened her eyes and saw the rocky wall in front of her. She trailed up till she found Ed holding her by the wrist with his bloody arm as he held on to the cliff with his left. He saw that he had a look of relief as he looked at her dangling from his hand and sighed.

"Ready" Was all he said as he began swinging her little by little.

She just gulped before nodding as he began to swing her more and more till finally the momentum had built up and he swung her up. Her whole upper body made it up the ledge as she reached for the ground trying to pull herself up with the little support she had. She wasn't having any luck and felt herself sliding off till she felt a hand push her butt up. She fell crawled forward onto the cliff as she got as far away from the edge as possible. She stopped in her tracks as she forgot about Ed and turned around. She was about to crawl to the edge to help Ed but found him already pulling himself up with a leg over the edge already. She was going to see if he needed help but was too late as he threw himself over the edge and onto the cliff. He laid there letting a breath out before immediately getting up and moving away from the edge.

"I'm still alive?" She asked herself as she touched her face not believing what just happened before hearing a chuckle from the human.

"Yes you are, now would you kindly get up" She heard him say near her ear as he knelled to her.

She quickly accepted the offer and took his hand and stood up to see Ed standing in front of her with a ripped shirt and bloody arm as he slowly turned and rubbed his head with his clean hand.

"Now let's get moving Miss Velvet, I wanna bandage this up before anyone thing else comes and find us" He said groggily moving his feet.

She was about to ask him about his arm but only got a growl in return from the wolfs above as they stood at the cliff ready to kill. She turned to Ed watching him walk down the new cave they were in before nodding.

"That would be wise" She said before following after him.

Outside the Simulator

"What do you mean you don't know!"

"I'm saying I don't know why your wife is in the simulator, I didn't even see her disappear from this room" Celestia said as she tried to calm down Night Light.

"But... I do have a suspicion" She thought as she glanced at Twilight who was staring at the screen watching them walk in the cave. She turned back to Night Light who still looked unhappy and sighed.

"Mr. Night Light let me make this clear, as long as there in this simulator no actual harm will come to them" Celestia said before thinking to herself. "I think"

"Dad just calm down, if anything Ed will take care of Mom, I'm positive of that" Shining said as he put a hand on his shoulder.

Night Light just stood there still angry before finally letting out a sigh and turning to the screens. He saw his wife walking closely behind Edward as they made their way through the cave. He took notice of how bloody and cut up the human’s right arm was and blinked.

"How many wolfs did he kill?" The Dad suddenly asked getting a confused look from Shining before he turned looking to the screens.

"He didn't kill a single one"

Shining and his father turned to see Fluttershy by one of the screens staring at it. She turned and looked at them before smiling.

"He chose to let them live then to kill a single one" Fluttershy said as she looked at one of the screens were Ed was frozen in time as he got bitten by a wolf.

"What makes you so sure?" Rainbow asked as she slid up next to Fluttershy and she looked at the screen.

"Well, I can't really explain it but... I just know" She said as she stared at the screen before getting another "huh" from Rainbow Dash.

"And the item he had, he chose to scare the wolfs off instead of using it" Twilight said as she used her magic and focused in on one of the pictures. She zoomed to the gun as Ed pulled the trigger and the bullet was coming out.

"I'm not sure what it is but it looks like a miniature cannon of sorts" Twilight said as she showed the ammo exiting out of the item as Ed shot it near the dogs not hitting them.

"So it's like a... hand cannon?" Luna said as she looked at the picture and wondered to herself.

"Ed is most certainly holding back with such a tool as this, but why, even with without the strange device he holds he could still have done some major damage to the wolfs?" Luna spoke as she examined another picture of Ed throwing the wolf off his arm.

"The question is, why chose to pacify, when the wolfs mean to kill?" Luna said pondering to herself this question.

"Would you have done the same thing my sister?"

Luna looked beside her and saw her older sister staring at the screen before her, deep in thought from the looks of it as her eyes were transfixed on Ed in one of the images. Turning back to seeing Ed getting attacked by two wolfs at the same time made her ponder to herself. She was in a new time having being been on the moon for a thousand years so everything was new to her when she came back. But Ed was from another world and in his current time did everyone act this way. Or maybes it's something else, maybe it was the way your brought up and what beliefs and ideals you've been fed is what makes you, you. After remembering her mother and sister taught her...

"I don't know, creatures such as this look as if they would harm my little ponies if they were to ever reach this land, I would leave them be but if they warranted danger then I would protect my subjects, at all cost" Luna said as she turned to her sister and saw that she had her eyes closed.

"Hm... very well, let us see what Edward Elric does next shall we" Celestia said as she got a screen and made it bigger for everyone to see.

"Let us see what this human is capable of"

Back in the Simulator

Ed was at his last straw as he took a knee and let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"What's wrong!?" Velvet asked as she came to his side and put a arm around him. She looked at his bloody arm and inhaled at how bad it looked close up. She trailed up to his face to see if he was showing any signs of fatigue but was just staring at her deeply. They stayed like that for a while before Ed slowly rose to his feet and began walking again.

"Were almost there" Ed said causally as he walked to another gap and jumped it.

Velvet sighed wondering what was going on with Ed, he was losing blood fast but somehow was able to keep on walking and jumping around like he was A-Okay. Of course he was getting a little slower but right now that didn't matter as they were still in the cave and needed to get out so that they could do something about that arm of his. Ed was waiting by the next gap that she needed to jump and saw that this was much farther than the ones they had come across. As she stepped up to the edge she looked down seeing another long way down to death and gulped. She looked back up to see Ed still standing there waiting for her to jump.

She huffed. "I don't need you to baby me, you’re the one who needs help" She said as she backed up a little and took a step forward taking the jump.

She landed on the edge with ease and smiled inside, but not before realizing how much danger she was in.

"Huh?" Her eyes widened as she felt herself slowly falling backwards as her footing slipped and her body tiled backwards. Before she could think she felt the firm hand grab hers and it pulled her away from the edge. She was on balance again as she let out a breath and moved away from the edge. She looked to Ed who was still holding her hand and felt embarrassed at the words she said not 10 seconds ago.

"But uh, maybe it would be wise to look out for one another" Velvet said as Ed just smiled at this response and let go of her hand getting a nod of direction also from Ed.

"It's just up ahead, come on" Ed said as he began to walk again.

Velvet wondered what he meant by that, he must know where he's going if he says that right? She just complied and began walking after him. They cave they were currently in was still had a little light coming up from the holes in the ceiling that let the sun shine through. Either way as she walked she saw the light coming from the end of the cave as Ed stood at the tip of it and smiled.

"The way out!?" Velvet was more than happy to run a little more even though her feet were sore, she ran to the exit and past Ed and smiled as she already felt the fresh air hitting her face. Then she froze.

"Edward... what is that?" She asked as she pointed at the big metal thing in front of her.

She saw Ed walk past her and to the metal thing. As he approached it he turned and gave her a soft smile.

"This is my home, it called an airplane Miss Velvet, sadly it can't fly because I crashed it trying to save all the other passengers on it, but hey I was only a kid then, so you can't really blame me for my parking skills" Ed joked as his smile became a sad one and he turned to the plane as he put a hand on it.

He stood there for a couple seconds worrying Velvet as she didn't understand anything but was more concerned about his arm at the moment and quickly rushed to his side.

"Look you need medical attention, so let's get inside this... airplane and see if I can bandage up this arms of yours okay!?"

Ed just stared at the plane with a blank stare before turning his head to her and smiling. "Yeah, that would be wise"
