"The white room is white"

Whiteness, everywhere, and I'm not talking about that thing that happens when your by yourself, I'm talking about when your in a white abyss with nothing but the white on the ground, and on the walls that aren't really there because its like that one part in Mario where your going up the stairs and its keeps going on and on and- okay were getting sidetracked, either way Ed was floating in a white abyss with nothing but glitched out memories that seemed to be moving about out uncontrollable like a screen tear. Ed himself knew something was wrong with his dream as he tried to touch one of the memory orbs that was glitching out. He soon realized his mistake.

Like a needle being jammed into his head, blurry images and scenes played out through his mind at light speed causing him to grip his head at the sheer pain. Like it never even started it stopped, the pain was gone and Ed let go of his head as he wondered what the hell just happened.

"What the hell is going on?" He asked outloud as he looked around seeing nothing but glitched out memories tearing here and there.

It wasn't till he spotted one that looked perfectly fine that he decided to bring it towards him, as he used his mind to pull the memory orb towards himself he suddenly felt a familiar feeling that he couldn't describe. Like he was attached to the orb somehow, yet, he didn't know why. The orb stopped in front of him before he slowly raised his hand on it and kept it there wondering what the memory held. Usually the memory played a preview in the orb itself but this one was just purple for some reason. Without any other choices in front of him he touched the orb and felt the dream world he was in change as it flashed blinding him for a second.

First everything was a blur, Ed could only make himself out as he saw his own body moving in front of his eyes.

“Its a pleasure to meet you Miss Sparkle” He suddenly heard his other self say as the other Edward held his hand out to the blurry room.

What was he doing in this memory Ed pondered to himself as suddenly another person came into focus. At first Ed didn't know who it was because of the blur that surrounded them. But as they lifted what looked like their hand and shook the memory Ed's hand, like a painting, the person came into the world as the blur faded from the hand till the whole body was visual.

“Oh, It's a pleasure you meet you too Edward and Twilight is just fine thank you” she said smiling.

Ed looked at Twilight Sparkle as he finally had a face to match the name. As he looked at her smiling he found himself smiling as well for some reason. "Just who are you Twilight Sparkle" He said as he took a step forward before feeling the shaking.

Back in the Real World

"Edward! Wake up come on boy we gotta go!" He heard somebody say as he groggily woke up and rubbed his eyes.

"I'm up I'm up, jeez can't you let a guy... sleep?" Ed said confused as he stared at a stallion and not a mare.

Ed's eyes didn't need to slow down time to know who he was, just like that Velvet mare he knew that this stallion was related to Twilight Sparkle. His name was...

"Night Light!?" He said confused as to how he knew his name as well even though he can't recall when they met.

"Great you remember my name, but we got bigger problems kid" Light said as he pulled him up to the window.

Ed just moaned as his body was tired but reluctantly stood up as he was brought to his feet. Ed instantly knew what was wrong. He could see the lights coming from the cave he came through as they seemed to be getting closer. Ed sighed and looked at Light.

"I doubt their friendly, thanks for waking me up" Ed said as he stood up properly and began walking to the pilots seat.

"Look I don't know what- hey what are you doing?" Light said as heard a bunch of noises and saw Ed come back with a katana in his left hand.

"Well I'm not gonna go out and get myself killed, we need to leave, this is the only thing that I have in the airplane worth anything to me" Ed said as he went to the side of the plane.

"Come here and help me will ya?" Ed said as he nodded to what looked like a slightly open door to Light.

Not really say anything but nodding, Light got to the side of the plane with Ed and helped push the door open. Ed was only using his shoulder to push the thing as he felt somewhat tired from not getting enough rest. Last he remembered it was still daylight when he got to the plane. As he leaned his back into the door he saw from the window over that it was night time. As his eyes trailed down he saw that his right arm was bandaged up, he would have to thank Miss Velvet for that later if he ever saw her aga-

*Creak*

"Ed watch out!" Light said as he tried to grab Ed as the door finally opened.

Now you think there would be that little slide that rolled out when you open the door to the plane after it crashed or when its in the ocean like those movies. Well remove that and put a slanted broken piece of the planes wing just waiting there for Ed to bounce off as he came falling through the door. Ed didn't even react as the fall was only a second as Ed hit the wing and rolled off it. Luckily he was pushing with his left shoulder and back somewhat to the door so when he hit the wing he just kinda rolled backwards with a "uff" till he felt the wonderful dirt on his back. Lazily getting up he saw Light jump out the door and land on the slanted wing with ease quickly sliding down it as he hopped off it landing on his feet perfectly unlike Ed. He just groaned as he made it to his feet and looked over to Light who had a worried expression on his face.

"You alright Edward?" He asked as Ed just sighed.

"Well luckily the wing somewhat broke my fall so I'm all good" Ed said sarcastically as he looked around till he found his katana and walked over to it.

"Just glad this thing somehow didn't stab me in the process" Ed chuckled as he kicked the katana up and grabbed it with his left hand twirling it to his side quickly.

"Thank god for whoever invented sheaths" He said to himself as he turned to Night Light.

"We should go, come on old man" Ed said as he made haste to forest near.

"Hey! I still got a few left in me ya little brat" The stallion said as he followed after the human a little ticked.

Outside the Simulator

"Who you calling little!"

Everyone watched as Edward punched Night Lights arm getting a punch in return as they jogged along side each other arguing with each other comically.

"So does someone wanna tell me what happened?" A voice said as Celestia and her sister turned to see Twilights mother sitting alongside Octavia who sat and drank tea together at the little table.

Celestia looked between the screen with Ed and Night Light before looking back at Velvet and sighing. "Miss Velvet I have no idea"

Velvet just sat there kinda unimpressed before shrugging. "Well I trust Edward to keep my husband safe so I guess it doesn't matter, besides its all just simulator right?" She asked raising a eyebrow at the Princesses.

They both kinda looked at each other before Luna took the initiative. "Well in the simulator they can't really get hurt physically in the real world, so for its safe to say they'll be alright"

"For now?" Velvet said raising another eyebrow at the Princesses causing Luna to look away at Celestia who just shrugged.

"Well as long as he comes out of this unscathed its fine to me" Velvet said taking another sip of her tea before turning to Octavia.

"This tea is really good darling, what's it called?" Velvet asked as Octavia perked up and grinned a little

"Well Miss Velvet..." Octavia started as Twilight tuned them out focusing on Ed and her Dad.

She looked as they slowed down a little walking now as they neared a opening. It's when the camera angle from another screen caught her attention that she noticed something.

"Hey everypony, you might wanna see this"

Edward Elric

"So why did you choose to not kill the wolfs?" Light asked as they were walking now and had time to talk.

Edward just mentally took note that Light knew about his time with Twilight Velvet and would bring it up later when they were safe and sound. Ed wanting to answer the question just said it plain and simple.

"I don't like killing, besides the wolfs had it bad enough already" Ed said as he lifted a vine with his katana moving it out of there way.

"They have it bad? Care to elaborate?" Light asked as he went under the vine and nodded to Ed as thanks.

Ed moved under the vine quickly resuming his walk with Light as he cleared his throat.

"The wolfs live in the wild, they have to survive off killing whatever they can and eating that right?" Ed asked Light as he just pondered the question before saying "That's correct"

"Now what if I broke one of their legs or made them unable to move but still alive?" Ed asked making Light wonder were he was going with this.

"Well then somepony would-...... the wolfs would just starve to death or be killed by something else because of their disadvantage" Light answered finally understanding what he was getting at.

"Exactly, wolfs are on their own, they travel in packs but if they become wounded or even useless to the pack, they move on and leave them behind" Ed said taking in a breath before continuing. "Their not like us with our jobs and society, they live in a cruel world were its eat or be eaten, that's why I don't even harm animals, because everyone is equal, and we all have our own problems to deal with"

Light just looked at Edward with a blank stare before smiling. He came close to Ed and patted him on the back. "Your a good kid, you know that?"

Ed just looked to Light over his shoulder as he gave a weak smile. "Just because I do good things doesn't make a me good person"

Light just shook his head and chuckled. "Well we all have our share of crap we ain't proud of, some more than others, but that doesn't mean we still can't do whats right"

Ed stopped as they came to a clearing with more mountains in the distance as the moon in the sky was full tonight and lit up the world around them. They stood on a cliff side as they saw rocky platforms here and there that they could jump to and climb on as they went far and wide. Ed smiled at the scene before his eyes suddenly shot to a bunch of bushes and trees near them. Ed sighed before smiling and turning to Night Light.

"Hey Light, how good are you a CQC?" Ed asked as Light looked at him confused.

"Alright say you had to fight about ohhh I don't know, a good 20 bad guys, how many could you take?" Ed asked as he handed the stallion his katana while keeping his eyes on his.

"Well a good 2 or 3, but every situation is different, and besides taking on 20 bad guys by yourself would be insane... why do you ask?" Light asked as he wondered why the human was pushing him now to the edge of the cliff.

"Well Lighty buddy pal that's the thing, there's about 20 plus men coming our way right now and I need to get you out of here" Ed said as his eyes darted at the platforms and paths wondering how they could get out of there quickly without getting into any fights.

"Say agai-" Before he could finish his sentence Ed heard the loud bang and instantly knew what was going to happen.

Without even thinking Ed slowed down time and projected were the bullet would hit. He didn't like it. While time still slowed for his eyes he started to move his body as fast as he could.

"Move dammit, MOVE!" He screamed at himself as he began pushing the stallion out of the snipers shot as he cleared the bullet directory.

Now all Ed needed to do was-

Ed looked down in slow mo as the blood came flying out though his body. Even while his eyes were slowing down time he could still feel the pain as he resumed time now standing still as he looked down his body. He looked back up to see Night Light on the floor staring at him wide eyed. He just smirked at the stallion while staggering to stay up.

"You kno-" Ed stopped his sentence as he coughed up a little blood. While taking in a breath that he could barely manage to get in he finally continued his sentence.

"I really wanted to meet this Twilight Sparkle girl, she seems really nice" He said as he suddenly felt a falling sensation. With it he closed his eyes and wondered if he would see his family now. In his last seconds before dying, he heard the stallion scream his name. He just smiled.

"Well this sucks"
