Ed stood in front of the orb with a blank stare, it was the same color as last time, also taking note that it was also the only orb that seemed to be functioning as he took a quick look around seeing all the glitched out orbs in the background. As he lifted his hand onto the orb the white abyss faded and with it came a library. Ed looked around feeling that same sensation before, like this was something important to him. It wasn't till he noticed himself sitting down reading that the memory started to play.

Ed smiled as he finished the last chapter but noticed that there was another page stuck to the last one. He was going to pull it apart to read it but felt a presence watching him. Ed turned to see Twilight half hiding behind her door with a quill and scroll in air.

Ed chuckled "How long you been there Twilight"

"Umm... I'd rather not say" The purple mare said blushing still hiding behind her door.

"So Twilight, you never told me you were a hero of Equestria" Ed said standing up to stretch

"Well I'm not much of a hero without my friends" Twilight said rubbing the back of her head as she came down the stairs.

"Well hero or not I still thank wanna thank you for saving my life" Ed said as he walked towards Twilight

"What do you mea-" Twilight stopped talking as Ed gave her a sudden hug. Twilight didn't know what to do at first but only stood there for a few seconds until she heard Ed speak.

"Twilight... you know that if you hadn't teleported me to your world... I would have died..."

Twilight's eyes widened as she listened to the human.

"So I thank you Twilight... I thank you with all my heart..." Ed said as he felt a tear well up in his eye.

Twilight stood silent processing what he just said. She slowly hugged him back feeling a tear go down her cheek.

"Don't worry Edward... your safe now" She said tightening her hug.

Ed smiled at the scene as he felt a warmth in his heart. It was so strong it hurt his side. Like a lot.

With a sharp inhale his eyes bursted open feeling the pain on his side. His eyes darted left and right hearing lots of noises as his heart was beating like a someone just jabbed a full syringe of adrenaline into his body. He felt the ground below indicating he was laying down as a silhouette popped up in front of him. Ed quickly launched a fist at whoever it was as he was not going down with out a fight. The fist connected and he saw his shadow friend fall backwards as they went out of his sight. Even with the slight movement of his arm it hurt like hell as his breath out of control and his mind racing. He quickly tried to get up but was held down with a sudden force.

"Ed Ed it's me!" A sudden voice said as Ed suddenly felt a pair of hands holding him down and the silhouette back.

Ed recognized the voice but couldn't quite remember who it was. As Ed tried to lean up afraid of being down and vulnerable he suddenly realized his mistake as his side started pulse with pain.

He clutched whoever's back it was he leaned up to as he let out a muffled scream into their body.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

At this point Ed was clawing into whoever he was holding as he noticed how much strength he put into his grip. He let go and fell into whoever he was leaning into. He just stayed there laying his head against someones chest as he calmed his breathing taking a quick inhale at the pain now and then as it didn't go away. After a while he felt his heart beat drop down to normal and his mind calm as he took deep breaths. Finally he moved at a hand to his side and winced as he felt the blood slowly oozing out of his bullet wound.

"I sealed up the wound as best as I could, I found out whatever it was that went through you and washed the blood off it, do you know what this is?" The voice said as the man, Ed guessed the gender telling from the masculine voice, as they pulled the bullet close to Ed's face just enough for Ed to see the dam thing through all the blur his eyes were dealing with.

"Telling... from the size... and shape..." Ed started slowly still weary as he tried to identify the origin of the gun. Though he quickly gave up and decided to just keep it simple as he took a breath in trying to get his sentence out.

"It's a bullet designed for a sniper... long range weapon" Ed said barely as he raised a hand and took the bullet pulling it closer to his face.

"Shit... this thing pierced through me... well at least my insides are fin- blehhh" Ed stopped talking as a mouth full of blood came spewing out of his mouth.

"Ugh I better not end up like teacher with her insides all ruined" Ed though to himself as he wiped his mouth and chuckled.

"Sorry pal... it's been... a rough day" Ed managed to say as the man he was leaning against laughed.

"Don't worry Edward, hell you look worser than me when you found me in that damn room" The man laughed as Ed tried to peace together how he knew this man.

As Ed looked up to the mans face his eyes slowly adjusted till he smiled at the face his eyes brought him. "Shining Armor isn't it?" Ed asked unsure if his memory server him correctly at this point.

"The one and only" Shining said as he grinned.

"Heh" Was all Ed said at an attempt for a laugh. With his vision restored and his rescuer known, he decided to stand to see if he could get up. That was a mistake. Instead of going up he went down as Ed started to fall back to the ground, but not before he felt somebody catch him and pick him up. Ed looked and saw that it was Shining who was holding him up like a Princess. Ed didn't mind being carried like this at all as he found himself falling asleep.

"Hey wait don't knock out yet, I need to know were to go?" Shining asked as Ed wasn't paying attention and only had one thought on his mind.

"Hey Shining... does your sister... have a boyfriend?" Ed asked barely able to keep his mind straight as the brother just chuckled at his question.

"Your surprise me Edward, first your avoid killing savage wolfs, then you take a, bullet for my dad, and now that your bleeding out your first concern is wanting to know if my sisters dating? Look just tell me were to go, somewhere safe alright?" Shining said with a soft smile on his face.

"Alright... gimme a sec..." Ed said as he looked around and saw the environment they were in. It seems like they were quite away from the cliffs he and Night Light were on, they were closer to the beach if he was correct. As he looked around he saw a bunch of random guys on the ground, they were passed out as Ed saw their chest or back moving slowly, indicating they were still breathing. He made a mental note to thank Shining later for not killing anyone as he scanned the area one last time using the last bit of energy he had to think. Being on the island for more than 4 years you would think he basically drew a map inside his own mind as a arrow suddenly appeared pointing towards a clearing if his memory server him right. Other than that everything else was a blur as his sight started to become fuzzier.

"Go that way" Ed said pointing in the direction of the arrow Ed saw in his mind.

"You'll see a huge opening with lots of flowers and grass, when we make it there, just wake me up, okay?"

Shining nodded as he began to move toward the arrow in Ed's head. Ed just sighed as he felt kinda useless, that and sleepy as well. His mind came across a question suddenly as Ed voiced it.

"Do you have my katana?" Ed asked, only to be rewarded as the blade itself suddenly floated down into view.

"Yeah I have it with my levitation" Shining casually replied.

Oh yeah, hes a unicorn, they have magic, Ed still didn't know why this didn't bother him. The scenario was fine to him but still, everything seemed off. He put it out of his mind as he felt his eyes slowly closing.

"Oh yeah... you never answered me... is your sister... available" Ed mumbled the last part out as sleep took him and he knocked out right there and then with Shining caring him.

The stallion just smiled. "You can find out yourself Ed, besides with the strange switching thing that keeps happening when you fall asleep, I'm pretty sure Twily is next" He said with a chuckle.

Twilight Sparkle

"Well looks like Shiny found out the pattern" Twilight said to herself as she mentally smiled.

"Is there something you would like to say my student?"

Twilight looked to her teacher Celestia as the voice belonged to hers. She just grinned as her horn lit up. "Actually yes... See ya!" Twilight said as suddenly she disappeared from the room and was replaced with her brother Shining in a flash. Everyone just blinked as they didn't expect that. Shining had a look of confusion as he looked like he was just carrying someone with his arms held midway up. He let his arms drop to his side as he looked to the screen and smiled.

"Whatever your planning Twilight, just get our boy back home" Shining thought to himself as he watched Twilight hover Ed and the katana walking in the direction he was headed in.
