Ed felt a cold presence beside him as he moved to the middle of room. He looked all around him but saw nothing there besides the bed and the desk. He swore that he had heard something come from inside the room and that maybe it was the cursed ghost or whatever. He thought that maybe it wasn't some ghost and just the wind outside his window. Then again this was Equestria...

"Anyone here?" Ed said as he took another look around the room. His eyes stopped as he saw something that was out of place. A face in the wall that wasn't supposed to be there... at all. It looked like a Unicorn as it's horn stood out long just like Celestia's. Ed instantly turned around and faced the other wall as he tried to forget the face was ever there. He turned back a few seconds later and saw that the face had disappeared from the wall. He let a breath out and grinned.

"I'm just imaging things" Ed said to himself as he sat on his bed. He looked to where face was from his bed and saw a mare suddenly phase through the wall. Ed's eyes widened as he saw what looked like an Alicorn come through the wall who looked similar to someone he knew.

~~"Who are you"~~ The ghost said snickering as she did from her facial expression as Ed saw.

"Edward Elric?" He said as he saw the ghost's face turn confused.

The ghost seemed to have an idea because it made a evil grin on it's face and walked over to Ed's side. Ed didn't move as the ghost grabbed Ed's watch from his pocket and started to wave it back and forth in front of him.

~~"If you do not leaveeeeee I will haunt you foreverrrrr"~~ The ghost said as it made a facial expression that indicated that it was trying to hide it's laughter.

Ed was confused by the ghost actions but finally pieced it together as he saw how the ghost was acting. She didn't know he could see her! Ed instantly smiled on the inside as he thought of a ingenious plan to humiliate the ghost. He yawned and pretended to not care about the floating watch and took it back putting it into his pocket. The ghost was shocked by his behavior probably because she was hoping for a different reaction. She then looked around and saw a piece of paper and a pen on the desk which she picked up and wrote something down on it.

After writing down what she wanted she made it float over to Ed. Ed read the word's out aloud.

"If you do not leave I will haunt you for the rest of your-" Ed stopped before finishing it and suddenly said "Oh ya I need to get a notebook if I'm going to be staying here" He said as he got up and took out his phone ignoring the paper in the air.

The ghost was dumbfounded and shocked as she was completely ignored. She tried to think of something else but suddenly blew out as she couldn't come up with a single idea.

Ed saw that it was 6:03pm and decided that it was time to go ask one of his neighbor's for a favor. He looked up to the ghost and saw the saddened expression on her as she looked down at the floor and sighed. He walked over to the ghost and crouched so that she would see him. She saw this and quickly perked up.

"It's no fun when a woma- I mean mare is sad because you've played a trick on them" Ed said giving the ghost a warm smile.

"So cheer up" He said making the ghost realize he could see her.

The ghost suddenly burst into joy as she jumped through the ceiling and flew through the walls coming back to Edward to give him a hug.

"I didn't know ghost could hug" Ed said as he felt the ghost's arms around him.

"And I didn't know some ponies could see ghost" The ghost said as she let go.

She got a closer look at Ed and stepped back a few getting a wider view of him.

"Your not pony are you?" She said crossing her arms.

"Nope I'm a human" He said making a big grin and pose as well.

"Are all human's this short?" She said tilting her head.

*Snap* "WHO YOU CALLIN SHORT YOU FRICKIN GHOST" He yelled giving the ghost a run for her money as he tried to grab her but ultimately failed as she phased through the ground letting Ed hit to wall.

"Ugh" Ed groaned as he rolled around rubbing his head in pain.

"Jeez, Edward" The ghost said phasing only her head into floor. "Angry much?" she said laughing.

Ed instantly grabbed her hear next to him and gave her a cold stare.

"If one more person calls me short one more time there ass is grass you understand me" Ed said harshly as he stared at the ghost.

The ghost gulped and nodded.

Ed sighed and let go of the ghost's head letting her phase into his room completely. She hovered in mid air in a cross legged sitting position as she cleared her throat.

"The name's Mother but you can call me Mom" She said smiling at him.

"Hm... how about M because Mother and Mom sound too family-like" Ed said as he rolled over onto his back.

She thought about it for a second before nodding "Sure, that's okay I guess" she said as she floated to the floor.

Ed jumped up from his sitting position and turned to M. "You can call me Ed for short". He said smiling at her.

"Sure, Ed" she said smiling back

Ed was going to say something, but suddenly Derpy busted through the door and tripped landing on the floor.

There was a awkward silence as Ed and M watched Derpy slowly get up and giggle it off.

"I heard you yell Ed is everything okay?" Derpy said walking over to Ed

"Yeah Derpy everything is-" Ed watched how Derpy walked right through M and didn't even see her.

"Ya Edward?" Derpy said as she leaned in to see if he was awake.

"Um... nothing Derpy I was just wondering if you would lend me some uh... Bits... I think" Ed said not to sure if that was what they called the money here.

"Oh, sure Ed, just make sure to pay me back whenever you can okay" Derpy said reaching into her pocket and drawing out her purse to give him a few bits.

"Thanks Derpy oh and more thing, do you know anything about the ghost that resides in this house" Ed said as he looked over to M who was giving 'what?' face.

"Um... not anything I can think of... Sorry Ed just that she usually haunts anyone who will go into this until they leave, that's about it" She said as she shrugged.

"Well have you been haunted by the ghost at all Derpy?" Ed said watching M's face turn a bright red.

"Well not really, but I always feel like someone's watching me as I shower and go to sleep... that's about it" Derpy said as she saw Ed start laughing.

"Edward what's wrong?" Derpy asked which made Ed laugh even more because the ghost was standing right next to him blushing like crazy.

"Haha phfftt n-nothing Derpy just thanks for the bits" Ed said as he bowed while still laughing a little.

"Oh... your welcome" Derpy said as she walked out of Ed's room closing the door.

Ed looked at M who had a bright red blush on her face.

"So tell me M... how many girls have you watched in this apartment..." Ed said trying not to laugh.

"......All of them..." M said looking the other way as she said it.

Ed started busting up laughing as he fell to the floor and rolled around in pure glee.

"Ohhh man today's gonna be a long day hehe" Ed said as he continued laughing making M blush even more.
