Chapter Eight

The train would leave the station at noon, I would ride it for about forty-five minutes depending on whether or not we would be making any unscheduled stops in between here and our destination, and hopefully by forty-five after, I would be well on my way to getting rid of this torturous itch. That was the plan. I had been sitting on the public bench for well over twenty minutes, and that slow resonant pulse inside me took hold of my nethers, tapping and begging at me until I would pay it the attention it needed. I couldn’t, though, I was in public. And the ponies passing by seemed to be shooting hard glances when they thought I wasn’t watching, probably either sympathizing with the fact I was going through my heat, or scalding me for dripping my juices all over public property. My eyes would twitch and my lips would quiver at the thought of throwing myself onto the ground, despite the crowds of ponies trotting every which way, and shoving my foreleg in between my thighs. Every once in awhile, a stallion would catch my eye, and I’d imagine him tossing me onto the ground in instinctual lust, thrusting into me as we both whinney and neigh. He would nip my ears and bite my mane while I tried my hardest to squeeze around his member and coax that frothy white mixture into my depths to soothe that horrible itch of which I was suffering.

But no, I didn’t do any of that. The ponies walked by, the trains boarded new passengers, and I just sat there, fidgeting every time the vibrations from an approaching train would shake the loose board in the middle of my bench. Beads of sweat rolled down my face and collected in little pools around my eyes. Things had escalated in terms of the thing I once called good fortune. Being in heat was not a blessing, it was a curse.

Finally, the time had come; the train had arrived promptly at ten ‘til noon, and I was more or less the first to get on board, find a cabin, and shut the door. It would be a good amount of time until I could deal with my problem the way nature intended, but until then, I would have to make due with what I had. My cabin door was locked so I probably wouldn’t have had to deal with any interruptions.

I laid down on one of the two benches and observed my awaiting sex. My lips, now stretched and a tiny bit protruded, glistened with the liquid lust that addled my body and mind until I was no more than a sludgy pile of putty in the hooves of anypony within ten feet of me. They parted frequently as my clitoris revealed itself to the outside world, screaming to have some company, probably the kind that’s long, flared, and just wide enough in girth to rub against it, but not wide enough to stretch me out. A tiny stream of my marecum was flowing down my slit and over my puckered plothole. Both of my teats were erect, preparing my body for the opportunity to let a foal suckle on me for nutrients—if I were to get pregnant. I licked my lips and slowly lowered my hoof until it was barely scraping along the surface of my sex.

It was too much to handle. I threw my foreleg into my crotch and started rubbing as hard as I could, digging deeper and deeper into my body until I reached the treasure I was forced to seek. A million little nerve endings were screaming for me to keep going and that I wasn’t doing nearly enough to complete my self-pleasing endeavor. At this point, it was hardly even for the feeling of doing it. It was out of necessity, and this horrible burn, this insatiable itch dictated that I get rutted until I could no longer walk correctly.

I rubbed my hoof over my clit over and over, barely grazing it only when it winked outward. I tried pulling my lips apart with one hoof and digging into myself with the other, but my clit was barely showing, denying me the fast way of relieving myself for at least a few minutes. I went back to clopping. At least I could take care of the problem, unlike when I was on the bench with all those ponies watching me.

Knock, knock.

My head shot up in frustration, staring at the door that made noise. Are you fucking kidding me?

There was another knock, and I sputtered out a reply, looking around at the mess I had made. “Y-yeah? Who’s there?”

“Hi. There aren’t any more open cabins and the conductor said that he only saw one pony come in here. Is it just you?” The voice sounded feminine.

I hesitated. There was no way I could stop what I was doing. The heat wouldn’t quit, and even though clopping did next to nothing, it was better than just sitting around with my thumb up my ass. Shit, that didn’t even sound that bad in the state I was already in. But I didn’t have any thumbs to shove…

“Um, are you going to open the door?” She knocked again and I bit my lip. Should I?

I heard a soft click. “Oh wait, the door’s open.”

Crap…

The door swung open to reveal a dark blue mare with a rust orange mane. Her eyes were a soft purple and she smiled at me in a very pleasant way. On her flank rested three tornados, and I noticed her sides were festooned with two beautiful, pegasi wings. Before she noticed anything weird, I sat up and threw my hoof to my side where she couldn’t see it dripping with my juices. For a brief moment, her face contorted and her nose scrunched as the wave of my heat smell blasted her olfactory sense. Though, she went back to smiling before taking her seat across from me, setting down her saddlebag and offering her hoof to me. I bumped it with my own, dry hoof.

“I’m Tailwind,” she said. “It’s a pleasure to meet you…”

“Brian,” I said uncomfortably. “My name is Brian.”

She showed me a face that displayed her befuddlement. “Bry-anne? What kind of name is that?”

I narrowed my eyes. “It’s my name. What kind of name is Tailwind?” Alright, I may have been a little bit snappy with her, and I had gotten this a bunch of times since I had first shown up, but come on. Give me a break. I was dealing with an itch that I just couldn’t scratch by myself, and unless this mare suddenly sprouted a dick and bent me over this bench, I wasn’t much interested in what she had to say.

“It’s a family name. Sorry if I said something wrong… I didn’t know it was a touchy subject.”

Come on! Can’t a single pony in this entire damn place be a bigger asshole than me!

“Ugh, it’s fine. I’ve just gotten that a lot lately. I’m... I’m, uhh-”

“In heat?”

I sighed, nodding. “Yeah, and it’s been a real pain in the flank. How did you know?”

She lifted a hoof toward my crotch. “You’re leaking.”

I looked down to see a puddle in between my thighs slowly draining off the bench. “Oops, hehe.” I looked around to see if I could find anything to dry it up with, but nothing really caught my eye.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s not like you can help it.”

I fidgeted in my seat, my pussy grinding against the wood. My face turned into a grimace as my movement seemed to set off a gnawing sense of lust and the need to take care of the issue, manifesting itself more apparently than before. The mare before me was keeping me from going to town on myself, and for that, I hated her. But it wasn’t right to blame her for my misfortune. After all, she looked like a pretty nice mare.

“I know it’s a pain in the flank,” she said. “You can probably tell what happened to me during my last heat.” I didn’t realize what she was talking about, but soon enough it dawned on me.

She was pregnant. Very pregnant, as a matter of fact. Her stomach bulged outward like she had eaten enough to feed a village, and then some. Two little nipples sprung outward from oversized mounds that had no doubt engorged themselves for future breastfeedings. She chose to lay down in her seat which is probably what threw me off of the baby trail, while I chose to sit in a human-esque position. I realized how weird that must have made me look to a pony, so I chose to lay down. It was surprisingly comfortable, despite the fact I was laying on wood.

For a brief moment, I almost panicked. Was I the one who did this to her? She didn’t look familiar but…

“They’re twins, if that’s what you were gonna ask. I know most mares don’t ever look this big, especially for eight months along, but that’s why.”

Eight months… whew.

“No, no, no,” I said. “I was just surprised is all. I actually didn’t notice that you were pregnant until you pointed it out.”

She looked at me confusedly and then gave a short laugh. “Yeah, right. I don’t believe you, but I appreciate the gesture. You’d have to be the most inattentive mare in the world not to notice this walking barn!”

My face darkened. Gee, thanks…

“So how far are you into your cycle, if you don’t mind me asking?”

I thought for a moment before I answered her. The way she said that made me think that it was taboo to talk about, but at the same time, we’re perfect strangers and she just jumped right in. She could have just said that because of my resistance when she asked where I got my name from… or it could just be a girl thing.

“A few days, I think.”

She shook her head. “I’m sorry to hear that. I suppose it’ll be a good couple weeks before it goes away then. Of course, unless you plan on getting mounted.” She laughed, but I didn’t.

“W-what is it like… being pregnant?” I asked nervously.

She ceased her laughing and looked down at her stomach, softly caressing it with her hoof. “It’s hell,” she said, making my eyes go wide, “but I love every second of it.”

She loved every second of it? If it’s hell, why would she love it? My expression must have told her of my perplexion because she immediately responded with a laugh.

“I guess I’m not making any sense, am I?”

I shook my head.

“Well, it’s kind of like this.” She looked up as if contemplating something before having a look of epiphany cross her face. “You know when you have sex, it can feel great and weird, all at the same time?”

My pussy twitched. “Y-yeah.”

“It’s kind of like that. Sometimes, you feel terrible and wonder why you ever agreed to do something like that, and then other times, you can’t think of what life would be like without those little foals growing inside you.” She looked down and smiled at her stomach. “They may be a pain when you walk around, but late at night, you can feel their little heartbeats and you just feel so… complete.”

She looked back up and smiled at me. It was almost too much to bear. Everything she was saying seemed like the most heavenly dream I had ever seen. I didn’t just feel the tugging of my loins. I felt the tugging of my heart strings, playing the smoothest melody I had ever heard.

“A-are you ready, though?” I asked. “Are you ready to be a parent?”

“You know, for a pony who’s never even met me before, you do ask a lot of personal questions.” She laughed, and I blushed. “Oh, I’m only teasing. I understand that you’re curious about bearing foals.” She lowered her head and raised one side of her brow. “Could this be because you plan on taking the next step with a stallion? Are you going to be a mommy, too?”

Without even realizing it, I was nodding. It was almost as if I didn’t even need to think about responding before giving my answer. My body wanted me to get pregnant, and it wouldn’t take no for an answer.

She looked out the window and into the green countryside we had been traveling through. It looked like something you would see in Europe a long time ago, way before the world wars.

“I don’t know,” she said, “but I’m ready to find out. I guess we can only let things happen and hope for the best, no matter what happens.”

“A-aren’t you scared?”

She looked at me and smiled, and with a serious face, she nodded and said, “Yes… and no. I’m excited and worried. Paralyzed but fidgety. It’s just a feeling you could never describe.” She stared into my eyes. “It’s a feeling you’ll understand once you’re a mother.”

For the rest of the trip, we talked about what she was gonna name her little foals. She only had one boy’s and one girl’s name picked, though: Cloud Hopper, and Windsheer. The father apparently was a unicorn, so she was wondering if she would have to move out of Cloudsdale where she lived, or pick different names. It didn’t look like she was happy about making all those changes, but she didn’t seem too concerned about it either.

Before I knew it, we had nearly reached Ponyville and were preparing to stop at the station. Tailwind and I had really hit it off, and for the first time in a while, my nethers seemed to cool off. I guess what she was saying sort of distracted me from my instincts while we talked about something that both scared and excited me: foals.

There was no avoiding it. I was going to be a father… or mother if Twilight never fixed me with her spell. But no matter what, I was going to be a parent. There were troubles ahead, of course. Like the fact that half of Ponyville’s new elementary school class will be related, and I would most likely have to pick all of them up at the same time. There was also the issue of mates. I loved Pinkie, and if I had to choose, I would choose her. But what if I couldn’t? What if I couldn’t hold a legitimate relationship because of what I did in the past? There were just too many questions…

I said goodbye to Tailwind and she went off to visit some cousin of hers, I didn’t really get a name. Some things that she said resonated within me. Like having to take things as they come and face your fears “like a mare.” It seemed frightening, but she said it was all worth it, and when I was a mother, I would understand what she meant.

The itch, that uncontrollable urge that had subsided, returned in full blast as I walked down the main street in Ponyville. The more stallions I passed by, the more that feeling tugged my tail upward and soaked my nethers. It hadn’t gone away for long, and before I knew it, I was back into my heat-related funk. Some stallions had experimentally gotten close to me, but I didn’t stop. No, I had another idea in mind. One that would hopefully put this entire heat thing to rest.

I trotted off down the road to Sweet Apple Acres, home of Big Macintosh and from what I can tell, the largest cock in all of Ponyville. If he couldn’t scratch this itch, then nopony could. My pussy screamed at me to go ahead, and so did my brain. What Tailwind said about feeling the heartbeats of her foals had been whispering to me to let somepony mount me so I could collect his glorious seed and allow my own foal to grow.

I didn’t necessarily want a foal, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop my legs from their pursuit. The top of a farmhouse became visible from where I was walking, and that only made my heart beat any faster. There he would be, somewhere on this farm, probably sweating from bucking apples all morning. And I would be the one to give him sweet, sweet relief. But only if he gave me something in return.
