Applejack has always had special "feelings" for Rainbow Dash, but she never knows when to tell Rainbow Dash, or what. As seasons go by, Applejack might just find the perfect moment.

As it snowed heavily outside, a storm built up, and most of the power for the machines in Ponyville had turned off, due to the cold weather. You could see all the lights go off in each of the houses, one by one. Although nopony realized there was a storm, since they were fast asleep.

But then morning came. Pinkie Pie went to go bake some Cupcakes, but then found out the oven wasn't working.

"Shoot! I need the cupcakes for Sugarcube Corner! Now all the ponies wont have anything yummy to eat.. Or maybe I can make... popsicles?"

So Pinkie Pie was one of the first ones to notice the power-outage. So she put on her blue winter jacket and went to tell the next pony.Next was Fluttershy. She woke up to see Pinkie Pie bouncing on her, and all her animals shivering since the fire was blown out last night.

"Fluttershy, Fluttershy, wake up! It's important!"

Fluttershy woke up groggily to see Pinkie Pie bouncing constantly on her.

"What is it?" Fluttershy asked.

"The power went out last night with that big, nasty storm. Just thought i'd tell you." Pinkie responded.

So Fluttershy went downstairs to see her animals freezing.

"Oh, you poor little things! Now now, don't worry. I'll start a fire soon.

So Fluttershy put on a light-pink winter jacket and head out with Pinkie Pie to tell the others. Next was Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle woke up to a loud knock on the door.

"Hello Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie. What brings you two here?" Twilight asked, while combing her mane with her hairbrush.

"Oh, we just dropped in to tell you there was a power-outage last night, just so you know." Fluttershy kindly responded.

Twilight looked around her library, and saw that the reason it was so cold was since the fire went out.

"Thanks for telling me, girls. If you didn't tell me, my books would have probably frozen now!" Twilight said.

"Would you like to come and tell the others? Oh, if you don't mind, that is..." Fluttershy asked Twilight quietly.

"Sure!" And with that, Twilight put on a fluffy, purple hoodie and went off with the others. Next was Applejack.

Twilight and the others slowly walked to Sweet Apple Acres, due to the amount of snow that had piled up on the streets. But they finally reached the big apple farm. But they found Applejack talking to Rainbow Dash in the barn.

"Could you maybe open a hole for the sunshine so my apple trees don't freeze?" Twilight and the others overheard Applejack saying.

"Sure, but only for a deal. If me and my friends open a hole, you owe me about.. 5 cups of cider. Deal?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Deal," said Applejack. Then Twilight went to go say hi.

"Hi! have you heard about the storm last night?" Twilight asked Applejack and Rainbow Dash, which startled them since they DID think they were all alone.

"Oh, hi Twilight!" Rainbow Dash said. "Me and Applejack were just making a deal."

Twilight waited for Rainbow Dash to stop talking before she asked the two girls something.

"Would you like to come tell Rarity with us?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

"Sure!" Applejack and Rainbow Dash said.

So the five went down to Rarity's house. When they got there, they found Sweetie Belle and Rarity shoveling snow from the outside of their house.

"Oh, hi girls," Rarity said. She had on the most sparkliest jacket EVER. it had diamonds attached to the hood in little lines, some rubies put on a belt that kept the jacket from falling, and an emerald and some dark-green gem for the buttons on the jacket. Sweetie Belle had the same, but smaller.

Rainbow Dash asked the sisters, "Have you heard about the storm?"

"Yes, and i'm quite mad your weather pegusai made a big storm like this. Whats all the fuss about?" Rarity asked.

"They're just trying to keep the weather normal like, some rain there, some sunny days there, some storms there, just mixed up patterns," Rainbow Dash replied.

"Oh." Rarity said softly. "Oh, and i've heard some of the ponies in Ponyville are making a big group to help shovel the snow out. Sweetie Belle and I are going, would you like to come as well?" Rarity asked.

"Sure," Applejack said. "Should I go get Apple Bloom and Big Mac as well?"

"You might as well," Rarity said. "With this height of snow, we could cover a whole mountain, and we need all the help we can get!"

"Ooh, ooh!" Rainbow Dash said. "I heard when all the snow is shoveled up, we can enter a contest to make the biggest snow pony EVER!"

"Well that sounds like fun," Twilight said. "Lets all get out shovels and meet in the town square when we all have them. I'm sure we'll be able to see where we should put all the snow when they tell us."

With that, all the ponies went off to get their siblings / assistants to help.

In about a week, all the snow was finally piled up, and made into a gigantic sculpture of Princess Celestia.

"Wow," all the ponies said when they saw it.

"The results are in for the contest," some pony announced. And the winner is...."

All the ponies leaned in closer to hear."

"PONYVILLE!!" The pony shouted. All the ponies in Ponyville broke into screams of joy. Ponyville had done a sculpture of Celestia, Canterlot made a sculpture of the Moon being raised by Luna, and Cloudsdale, well, just made a little snow pony since they don't get much snow.

"I have an idea," Pinkie Pie chirped. "I'm freezing popsicles at Sugarcube Corner, and I have more then enough to give to everypony!"

So a bunch of ponies went to the bakery to celebrate. Others just went to their houses to relax.

After hours of laughing, singing, and popsicle-licking, everyone went home.

Although weeks later, Christmas was coming up. And also, the power came back on. Pinkie Pie's been busy making dozens of cakes, breads, and muffins for Christmas, and also making five gifts for her best friends.

Rainbow Dash and other pegusai were making sure the prettiest day would be Christmas morning, and Rainbow Dash had been busy making gifts out of special clouds that earth ponies and unicorns could hold.

Twilight, as usual, was picking out the best five books and putting a bow on them.

Rarity was making special Christmas outfits for 6 mares, three fillies and one baby dragon.

Fluttershy was training her singing birds for a special performance, and Applejack was making the super special cider her friends love. But she was making something special for Rainbow Dash, so she grew secretly a Zapapple tree for some of Rainbow Dash's favorite jam. Also, she was making twelve cups of cider for her friends.

Before you could say Zapapple ten times fast, Christmas had arrived. And everything was ready. First, Twilight gave out her favorite books to her friends. They tried to be polite, since Twilight always gave books as presents every year.

Then it was Pinkie Pie's turn. She had made a GIANT red and green cake with all of her friends cutie marks on it.

Then it was Fluttershy's turn. Her birds preformed a wonderful song of "Jingle Bells".

Then it was Rainbow Dash's turn. She made a brilliant show of making a rainbow and a Sonic Rainboom. And also a cotton candy cloud for Pinkie Pie to eat.

Then, it was Rarity's turn. She had made multicolor Santa suits for the girls, Red and green crusader capes for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and a cute little tuxedo for Spike.

Lastly, then it was Applejacks turn. She had brought a mini-feast of "Apple-tastic treats". And she gave Rainbow Dash her jar of Zapapple jam.

"WOAH," Rainbow Dash said. "This. Jam. Is. AWESOME!" Applejack slightly blushed

"Aww, it was nothin" Applejack said.

"Is it time for cake yet?!" Pinkie Pie said. The others nodded, with smiles on their faces. Pinkie's cakes were always the best.

"Yay!" She said, while everypony cut a slice with their Cutie marks on it and began eating.

"Wow, this is the best cake i've ever eaten!" Fluttershy said in her soft voice.

Everybody there nodded.

When the day was done, Applejack had a feeling today was the day she told Rainbow Dash. So when Applejack took Rainbow Dash home, she paused Rainbow Dash's flying.

"Rainbow Dash, I must confess..." Applejack said while the sunset went down.

"What about?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Well you see... um.. i-i've always wanted to tell you-" Applejack was cut out by a gigantic hop from Pinkie Pie.

"That the cake was absolutely AMAZING?!" Pinkie said. Applejack and Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Yes, it was the best cake ever," Applejack said as Pinkie Pie bounced off to Sugarcube Corner again.

"So what did you want to tell me, AJ?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh, i guess it was nothing.." Applejack said.

She was slightly disappointed that Pinkie just interrupted them. As they walked home, Applejack sighed softly and thought,

"Theres always spring, I guess.." And Applejack and Rainbow Dash walked home.
