Applejack has always had special "feelings" for Rainbow Dash... but she never seems to know the right time to tell her.

As the exiting Winter went by, before you could say Princess Celestia, Spring had sprung. All the flowers were blooming, apple blossoms were slowly but surely growing into apples, oranges, and other delicious fruits, and most of the farmers markets were open. It was a drizzling April day, but it was special, since it was Fluttershy's birthday! The Mane 6 were getting ready for a little party at Sugarcube Corner.

Rainbow Dash was bringing a little  a Rainbow in a bottle. This was a special rainbow, since if a pony or animal drank a tiny bit, it would heal them instantly. And also, she was bringing a rainbow colored lava lamp.

Pinkie Pie was making her favorite kind of cake- A cuppy-cake cake, decorated with mini models of Fluttershy and decorations of her Cutie Mark on the cupcakes. And she was making animal-friendly cupcakes for her animals, too.

Applejack was making Fluttershy's favorite Apple Pie, and she got extras for her animals. Everypony loves Apple Pie... right?

Twilight was bringing a book about taking care of big, feisty, and giant animals, like Bears, for example- although everypony knows that Fluttershy can take care of any animal.

Rarity was making Fluttershy's animals little dresses, and made Angel a yellow and pink dress. And a matching dress for Fluttershy as well.

When the time came, Fluttershy went to Sugarcube corner, trotting lightly in the rain, trying to sheild Angel the Bunny from the rain. What everypony can agree on, is that Angel does NOT like rain.

"Hello?" Fluttershy said in her usual soft voice, when she got to Sugarcube Corner

There was a pause. but the silence was broken by a certain pony named Pinkie Pie, "The Crazy Party Pony."

"SUP-RISE!" Pinkie Pie said while jumping out from under a table. She had put her cupcakes on top of the table so they wouldn't get dirty.

"Happy Birthday, Flutters," Rainbow Dash said.

The girls had put their presents on the table, and Fluttershy walked over to them slowly, but with a smile.

"Wow, they all look so pretty," Fluttershy said. "And tasty, too" she said with a little laugh.

First, Fluttershy opened Rainbow Dash's gift.

"Can somepony turn off the lights? That is, if you don't mind.."

Pinkie Pie hopped over to the light switch and turned the lights off, and Fluttershy turned on the rainbow- colored Lava lamp.

All the ponies "Ooohed" and "Ahhed" at the lava lamp. Then The Pinkie Pie went and turned the lights back on.

Then Fluttershy opened Rarity's gift.

"Wow, Rarity. They're so pretty!" Fluttershy said, while taking Angel's dress out and her dress from the lavender box and put Angel's dress on Angel and Fluttershy's dress on Fluttershy.

"You look absolutely ADORABLE, Fluttershy!" Rarity complimented. "And cute wittle Angel looks SOO cute!"

Angel hated the dress. So she tried to rip the dress. "Now now, Angel Bunny. Please try to be polite," Fluttershy told Angel.

Then, Fluttershy opened Twilights book.

"Thanks for the book, Twilight," Fluttershy said. Now it was her turn to be polite.

Fluttershy looked at Applejacks' and Pinkie Pie's treats.

"They look so delicious," Fluttershy said. "How about we all try them now?"

Everypony nodded. And with that, everypony cut a slice of pie and got a cupcake.

"Mmmm," Everypony said.

"That. was. AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash said with pie all over her face.

"Delicious," Rarity said.

Others, like The Pinkie Pie, and Twilight had to much amazing treats in their mouths to talk. As the six ponies ate, laughed, and celebrated, they all had to go home later that day.

"Wow, everypony. That was the best party ever," Fluttershy said. "Thanks!"

"Your welcome, Fluttershy," The five other ponies said. As they said that, it started to thunder near Sweet Apple Acres, and a big storm cloud formed over the orchard and went away as quick as it came.

"What was that?" Everypony turned to Applejack.

"It's the first day of Zapapple harvesting," She explained.

"Sorry, I can't stay. I gotta go. Bye!" And with that she sped off to Sweet Apple Acres. Sadly, she didn't get to see the apple blossoms appear, but there was always tomorrow, right?

Four days went by, and on the fifth, she found Rainbow Dash napping in one of her trees. Again.

"Ow! Why does the thunder have to be so loud-" Rainbow Dash was paused by staring at the Zapapples turning rainbow-colored and kinda square-shaped.

"Woah..." But then Rainbow Dash fell asleep again.

About 10 minutes later, Rainbow Dash was awoken by the sounds of Zapapples falling and hitting baskets.

"Hi, Applejack!" She said.

"Rainbow Dash, what in tarnation are you doing here?" Applejack asked.

"Well, I was napping on a cloud and I must have fallen," Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh." Applejack said,

"Need any help harvesting?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Sure, I guess.." Applejack said. She thought getting Zapapples off the trees, just her and Rainbow Dash, would make her happier. And less tired.

And it did. AND Applejack got through more trees then ever!

"Can I taste the jam?" Rainbow Dash asked when Applejack was finished making all the Zapapple Jam and put them in bazillions of jars.

"Sure," Applejack said. She slid a jar over to Rainbow Dash to taste.

"Amazing, as always," Rainbow Dash said with a smile and a rainbow around her mouth. But then she licked it off. So then, she took about five jars and flew them off to the stand for Zapapples and Zapapple jam.

When almost all the jars were all there, almost all of Ponyville was lined up to get a jar. At the front, Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie were lined up.

"Hi Rainbow Dash, and hi Applejack!" Pinkie Pie said as they passed a jar to all the ponies. When all the jars were sold, they earned a LOT of bits. (And I mean ALOT.)

A week slowly but surely passed, and it was time for the Spring Storm. Everypony knew. First, there was 2 hours of rain. Then, 4 hours of hailstones. Then, for the rest of that day and tomorrow, was thunderstorms. But... the storm wasn't AS powerful as it was supposed to be. Was Derpy Hooves missing? She always made sure the storms were pretty bad. Were dozens of mares/fillies/colts/stallions missing? They always help. The days after the storm, Rarity, Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie went to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy after the storm.

"Well, you see, lots of fillies and colts were out for testing (flight testing) 14 ponies had the feather flu, and Derpy was a bit dazed after Doctor Whooves kissed her for the first time, so she only did light jumps," Rainbow Dash said.

"Well that explains it," Twilight said. "But Rainbow Dash... how come i saw her jump near my library, She was riding a pink cloud..."

"OHHHH" Rainbow Dash said. "THATS why it wasnt powerful, she got the wrong cloud! But at least not alot of damage was done, unlike last year..." Rainbow Dash trailed off.

"Hey Everypony, guess what?" The Pinkie Pie said.

"What?" Everypony asked.

"I heard theres a carnival next week! Wanna come?"

"Sure!" "Ok..?" "Sounds like fun!" "Well, maybe..."The six said.

A week later, the six had bought their tickets and were enjoying the carnival. Pinkie Pie played games that offered sweets, and mostly stayed near the cotton candy stand. Fluttershy was doing games that involved getting cute little fluffy stuffed animals, like Ring Toss and other games. Twilight was just going around and around on the ferris wheel, reading. (Poor Twilight.)

Rarity was staying near the costume tent, trying on silly and pretty costumes, and trying to get new ideas for costumes for the upcoming Autumn. Applejack and Rainbow Dash, however, were doing races together, some just a couple of yards, running, and some to see how fast they can get through certain but hard games.

"I bet you can't get through this row as fast as I can!" Rainbow Dash said. "Challenge?"

Applejack smiled. "Challenge, Accepted." And with that, they sped off doing a whole row of games.

First they did Ring Toss, then Pin the Tail on the Pony(Pinkie Pie was at that game at the time), then a shooting game, and lastly, a game of Truth or Dare. There were some pretty funny challenges since you were paired up with a pony you didn't know. The Finish Line was at the food court, so you had to run a couple of yards to get there and sit at a table before your friend did.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash sat down at the same time.

"Good game, Applejack." Rainbow Dash said.

"Same to you," Applejack replied, sweating. Truth or Dare got her pretty tired.

"Hey look, rollercoasters," Rainbow Dash said. "Wanna go on some?""

"Sure-"Applejack stood up suddenly. "Race ya to the purple one!" and with that, the two sped off too a purple rollercoaster.

For a long time, they raced from coaster to coaster, and finally they had rode every one of them.

"Hey Applejack, want to go on the Ferris Wheel?"

Applejack held back a blush. Usually, Ferris Wheels were a place where if somepony loves another pony, thats where they confess their feelings. "Sure," Applejack managed to say, and they walked over to the Ferris Wheel together.

When the time came, they were at the top.

"Rainbow Dash, can I tell you somthing?"

"Sure, whats up?"

"I've always wanted to tell you that.. well, I kinda-" ONCE AGAIN, Applejack was rudely interrupted by the one and only,

Pinkie Pie, Master of Interruption.

"Hiya!" She said.

"Pinkie, how'd you get all the way up here?!" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well, I snuck up into your cabin because I didn't have a ticket." They were halfway down now.

"So I came here," She explained. They were all the way down now, so they all got off.

"Hey Applejack, what were you going to tell me?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Applejack mumbled: "I'll tell you another time, Rainbow Dash."

Applejack got quite annoyed at Pinkie, but she forgave her since she was just being Pinkie Pie.

Well, theres always another day, I guess.Applejack thought.
