Look upon me Equestria, for I am the Doctor
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryNext Chapter"I'm so excited! Are you excited, Doctor?" Ditzy Doo, or Derpy, as she liked to be called, exclaimed over the roar of the crowd to the Doctor, who was sitting next to her.
"Yes, Derpy, I love the Best Young Fliers' Competition. Maybe after this I can take you to the one they'll be holding in 3500?" The Doctor smiled, knowing Derpy loved having the benefits of full use of a working time machine, the TARDIS.
"Shh, shh, they're about to start!" Derpy stopped talking and started watching.
"And now, First up.." The announcer began talking, but Derpy wasn't listening. She was in awe over the great fliers that she knew she was about to see perform.
The first flier was very good, as the crowd had obviously expected her to be.
"And now, second, we have a Pegasus from Cloudsdale, Rainbow Dash!"
"Hey, I think I know her!" Derpy whispered to the Doctor. "I heard she's going to perform a Sonic Rainboom- Pretty awesome if you ask me!"
The Doctor simply smiled and watched as Rainbow Dash flew around, performing tricks and eventually, performing the world's second Sonic Rainboom in history.
The crowd, of course, went completely insane. It took ten minutes to calm everyone down enough to let the third flier perform.
About forty-five minutes had passed, and nearly everyone had gone.
"And now, last but not least, our final flier in this year's competition, Rarity!" The announcer exclaimed as the crowd came to life.
Rarity's wings looked almost like butterfly wings, and she was wearing a ton of makeup. The crowd watched as she flew gracefully upwards.
"Look upon me Equestria, for I. Am. Rarity!"
The crowd cheered loudly for her. Then, something happened-
Her wings started to shimmer. Within seconds, they evaporated completely and she began to fall.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Rarity could be heard screaming by the entire crowd.
Rainbow Dash raced over to catch Rarity... but it was too late.
Rarity had hit the ground, snapping her neck and caving in her skull. Rainbow Dash rushed over, but it was too late. Her friend was dead.
Rainbow Dash sat next to her and cried. The crowd was in shock, and distant sirens could be heard.
Everyone was scared, and nearly everyone was crying... an exception to that being the Doctor, who was just sitting there, watching.
"Doctor... a girl is dead down there! Don't you even care?!" Derpy's eyes were watering.
"Derpy.. when I arrived on this location the TARDIS did not give me any sort of warning. Which means this date is not of any significance. Which means her death isn't locked in time. Which means..."
"...we can still save her!" Derpy finished.
"Exactly!" The Doctor stood up and grabbed Derpy's hand, and began walking to the basement where he had parked the TARDIS. "Come along, Doo, Allons-y!"
