Darkness is something everyone must face at least once in their lives. But what happens when a country is so close to the light that the shadow is so great?

After the coronation of Princess Twilight Equestria have seen a few years of peace and everyone was enjoying that peace but, as we all know the closer you are to the light the greater your shadow. Now Equestria must face a darkness that threaten to end everything that holds it together ,The Elements of Harmony. It is up to Luna to train three students in the way of dark magic to fight this darkness and save all of Equestria. But why does it feel like Celestia is hiding something? What is the past that Luna can not remember?
